👀 We all scream for eye cream!!

I’m 28 and so far (knock on wood) have been very lucky in the eye department - minimal dark circles, no puffiness, and minimal wrinkles. It took me a while to get into eye creams because there’s no specific issue I’m targeting, but I finally decided that preventative work is better that restorative and took the plunge. Here are the products I’ve been on my eyes: The main product I use is YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Hydrate + Firm Peptide Eye Cream
It is a thick white cream that has yttp’s signature superfood blend (lots of antioxidants from kale and spinach), aloe to boost moisture, and tripeptide to build collagen. I use about a grain of rice between my two ring fingers and tap all around my eyes - it sinks in quickly for how rich the product feels! This leaves the skin around my eyes super hydrated without any heaviness. The biggest complaint I’ve seen about this product is that it’s a great eye cream for someone who doesn’t need an eye cream...aka for me! I don’t see a huge ‘change’ from using this product, but it feels amazing and keeps the skin around my eyes hydrated which is really what I’m looking for at this point. I also got a sample of BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel
and have been testing it out for a little while. This is full of squalane to lock in moisture, peptides which are good for collagen production, and apple stem cell extract which biossance says will reduce fine lines. The texture is a light gel that quickly melts into a liquid on contact. My biggest issue with this eye gel is that it takes forever to sink in, and I am using a tiny drop across both eyes. I don’t wear makeup, but if you were trying to layer it on top, biossance recommends waiting a full 1-2 minutes which makes sense since that’s about how long I need before this isn’t wet on top of my skin. In terms of results, this eye gel is targeted at dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness. Like the yttp eye cream, I think it’s main benefit is hydration, but I have seen the tiniest bit of brightening. Finally, on the occasional day that I wake up with dark circles bad enough that I notice them, I use dr. brandt - No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel
which comes out of the tube as a thick orange cream. Points off because it’s difficult to dispense and has zero long term benefits, but for a daily fix, this stuff works great. I massage a tiny bit between two fingers for about 30 seconds because it comes out of the tube very firm, then tap it into my under eye area. The color correction works great - does not go on super orange - and I feel a slight firming sensation combatting puffiness. I got this in a subscription box so I probably wouldn’t buy it myself, but like using it occasionally! What’s your favorite eye cream?!

AM Routine to Hydrate + Reset Skin
Ive had more irritated skin that usual these days so I’ve been reaching for these products in the mornings to soothe my skin and give gentle hydration. They’re helping get my skin back on track. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Cleansing Gel I got the mini tea tree set from Biossance and it has been a game changer on days when my skin is acting up. This gel cleanser gently foams, smells amazing, and really helps when I’m starting to get acne (usually just right before my period but more these days because of maskne!) Id love a travel size as I really only use this as needed a few times a month but if I were more acne prone it would be a staple Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I love this stuff! Probably not strictly necessary but the watery texture feels great and I find it helps other products, like my superfood serum sink in better BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Hydrate + Firm Peptide Eye Cream I have a lot of eye cream in my stash right now so I’ve been going crazy and using the Biossance eye gel under something richer. I like that this lets me target circles and then also intense hydration! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Firm and Brighten Vitamin C Serum this is a great all-around serum for hydration, firming, and brightness. It’s best when used on a wet face since the HA really sucks up a lot of moisture. This serum is super gentle so I like using it when I don’t want a very active routine and want to hydrate. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi this baby is a staple for me! I typically use it at night year round, but this month I’ve been reaching for it in the morning too since the winter weather has made me much drier. This is so hydrating but lightweight and really soothing on the skin! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Balancing Oil like the tea tree cleanser, I only use this a few times a month as needed. It does an amazing job helping to clear out oncoming breakouts. It’s lightweight, sinks in fast, and I love the tea tree smell! I’d love a .3oz size of this since I do use it so infrequently this little sample has lasted me a few months so don’t think I could ever justify buying a full bottle Hope you enjoy my routine! Let me know if you want more info on any of these products 💚

Morning skin care routine !
So I did a nighttime skincare and I’ve now created a morning skincare routine. For some background I have combination but mainly oily skin and am slightly acne prone - mostly during my time of the month. Fragrance does not bother me. I do have extremely large pores of no fault but Mother Nature. Now that the background on ME is done - let’s talk about the skincare that may help YOU. For starters I use the Simple - Kind to Skin Foaming Facial Cleanser . It’s light weight, non clogging, and isn’t that harsh when compared to say - Saint Ives or clean and clean. It foams nicely and gives me a great clean. Next I apply a toner but isn’t necessary, I’ve been trying to not use it as much but when I do - use a toner of your choice. After, I apply the LA ROCHE-POSAY - Pure Vitamin C Face Serum . This is a nice brightening serum which I’ve noticed reduced my pores slightly. Not sure if thats vitamin c’s job - but it’s helped. Note this is water based so it’s ok for oily folks but does have a strong fragrance - which personally I don’t mind. It’s tacky so needs about 5-10 minutes to set so don’t rush to apply sunscreen or make up. After the vitamin c - I apply one last water based moisturizing agent from la roche called LA ROCHE-POSAY - Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum again this is applied ONCE the vitamin c is set. This is also fragranced and tacky so wait another 5-10 minutes before applying sunscreen. Over all - very hydrating if you have dry skin. Then we have eye care. So I’ve been testing the BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel this has visibly done nothing for my eyes. Compared to RoC - Retinol Correxion Eye Cream which has reduced my puffiness and dark circles, Biossance has actually reversed it. I am much more puffy and my wrinkles are super visible now. Glad it was only a sample size and not my go too. I recommend ROC. Lastly, I apply a sunscreen. The one I use is also moisturizing calls L'ORÉAL - Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Moisturizer . This is Great because it has spf 25 or 30 but it’s very thick. A LITTLE GOES A LONG way. It does leave me a little oily so I will typically suggest a different moisturizer and I will experiment with others in the mean time. All in all this is all drug store, target or amazon purchases and it’s worked for me . Leave me feedback or questions ! I’m happy to answer #cheriepartner #skincare

My Secret Color Correctors💗
Do you have skin discoloration on your face? If so, welcome to the club. Most women experience redness, hyperpigmentation, or uneven skin tone. Pesky skin concerns can get in the way of a flawless makeup look. Luckily, color corrector is here to save the day! My skin type: I have quite fair skin with a lot of freckles. I do have issues with hyperpigmentation and sunspots on my cheeks and right above my upper lip. My skin tends to bee on the drier side, so I always look for products that are also hydrating. Another big concern of mine is my dark circles under my eyes.  What is color corrector? Color correctors are handy makeup products that use complementary colors to cancel out the look of skin discoloration. They can be used to target a bunch of skin issues, including dullness, redness, under-eye circles, uneven skin tone, dark spots, and bruises. For example, green cancels out red - that’s why you may see some primers and other makeup items with a green hue.  My favorite color correctors: 1.tarte - Shape Tape Concealer I love using a light concealer to really correct my dark circles. That’s one of the biggest problem areas on my skin. It’s so creamy and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or looking cakey.  2.dr. brandt - No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel This eye gel actually has an orange/red tint to it. The warm colors counteract the dark blue I have under my eyes.  How I apply my color corrector: Step 1: I use the No More Baggage Eye Gel by Dr. Brandt. It only takes a second to sink into the skin.  Step 2: I go in with the Tarte concealer and color correct my under eye circles, my hyperpigmentation, and my slight redness around my nostrils.  Check out my before & after photo, let me know your thoughts on these products!

I have nothing nice to say about this product!!
Ever have a product that you hate but can’t seem to toss out because you overpaid and guilt/buyer’s remorse sets in?? Yes? It’s like that expensive pair of uncomfortable shoes in the back of your closet that you don’t wear because they hurt and you can’t throw them out because you spent a months rent on them!! This is that product!! 😩 Product Details (What the product claims it does per the website): An advanced eye solution that quickly minimizes the look of under-eye bags, puffiness and dark circles while preserving a youthful appearance over time.❌❓ 😡This eye gel did not do one single thing for my under eye area. As you can see from the photo, after 3 minutes or less, the orange gel/paste starts to dry up and clump around the eye, so I can’t use this product during the day due to peeling. I altered the amount applied as well as how I applied it (dabbing and rubbing) but this product didn’t work for me. I use it at night because I dislike it and it kills me to throw away a $42 tube! 🛑 dr. brandt - No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel

Dream Eye Cream ✨💛
When youth to the people released their new eye cream this year, I was dying to try it out but didn’t want to commit to the full size. Thankfully they had a rare gwp offer with the sample right when I was going to stock up on my moisturizers 🙏🏼 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Dream Eye Cream With Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides What is it? yttp’s dream eye cream is formulated for nighttime use to hydrate, firm, and brighten the eye area Key Ingredients: goji stem cell: claims to stimulate skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles THD ascorbate (vit C): yttp loves this form of vitamin c that is stable and oil soluble superberry blend: like the dream oil and dream mask, the dream eye cream contains YTTP’s nourishing superberry blend with hydrating maqui, prickly pear, and squalane Product deets: This eye cream is completely fragrance free and has a thick texture that absorbs well. The Verdict? This is the first yttp product I’ve tried that I wouldn’t repurchase. The feel of the product is amazing and it does hydrate my eye area very well, but especially at this point in my life (I’m 28) I don’t need a lot from eye cream beyond hydration and their YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Hydrate + Firm Peptide Eye Cream , which is $13 less gives me plenty of that! I am so grateful I got a sample of this so I could ease my new product fomo and then go back to my standby! ✨ One thing to note - other than the added Goji stem cells and the fragrance removed, this eye cream has a very similar formulation to the YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask If your eye area isn’t sensitive to gentle fragrances, but you want the intense hydration and vitamin C of the dream line, you could use the dream mask around your eye area.

My eye cream awards!
My eye cream awards!
Here to tell you all about some of my favorite eye creams! Eye cream isn’t essential for everyone in my opinion—some can be perfectly fine just spreading their typical moisturizer under their eyes as well. However, I use a lot of harsh products and live in a place with harsh winters, so my eye area needs some extra love. CATHERINE JINN - Luminous Eye Cream Claims: targets dark circles and puffiness/bags Key ingredients: caffeine, hyaluronic acid, quinoa extract Thoughts: This brand is new to me, but I’m really glad I found them because I love this eye cream. The texture is creamy and feels incredible, and it sinks into my skin with no issues. It also wears very well under makeup, with no pilling. I deal with occasional puffiness under my eyes, and I think the caffeine in this really helps de-puff the area. At $29.97 for .5oz, this is the most affordable of these three. It wins best depuffing because it follows through on that claim, in my experience. DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream Claims: moisturizes, firms, and brightens Key ingredients: five forms of vitamin C, cucumber, and an eight-peptide blend Thoughts: This was the first eye cream I tried with vitamin C in it. Vitamin C works well for me in other face products, and I do think I noticed some brightening effects after using this for a month or so. I like the lighter creme texture, and it also plays well with makeup. I gave it my best brightening award because I did notice some subtle brightening effects, but I’m pretty sure at this point that my dark circles are genetic and will never completely go away. While I do enjoy this eye cream, I would never pay $64 for the full size of .5 oz. It just doesn’t make $64 worth of difference to me. CAUDALIE - Premier Cru Anti-Aging Eye Cream Claims: targets dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines and wrinkles Key ingredients: resveratrol, viniferine, grape seed polyphenols, caffeine, peptides Thoughts: I got this mini as part of a set, and I loooove it. Seriously, using it in the morning is my favorite part of my routine right now. It’s so creamy and moisturizing and I could pat it in all day long. I think it does have an illuminating effect, but I still typically wear concealer over it anyway. It’s so, so moisturizing, and I’ve been loving it during the NY winter which is doing its best to shrivel up all my skin. With that said, the full size is $99 for .5oz. While I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a deeply moisturizing, higher-end eye cream, I personally won’t be purchasing the full size because... money. It does win my most moisturizing award though because seriously, this gets the job done.

BIOSSANCE SQUALANE + PEPTIDE EYE GEL REVIEW
BIOSSANCE SQUALANE + PEPTIDE EYE GEL REVIEW
I absolutely love this Biossance eye gel. I only have a deluxe sample of it, but it’s actually lasted a while! After trying it out for about a month, I would definitely repurchase this. It’s refreshing & wakes my undereyes right up! It’s a light gel formula that glides onto the skin around my eyes with ease. It’s very hydrating, and helps to plump & depuff my undereyes, as well as brighten dark circles. It is a wet gel, so it doesn’t sink in right away, but dries down after a minute or two. The star ingredients include Swiss apple stem cell extract (plant-derived technology that delivers anti-aging benefits like plumping & firming), Squalane (to moisturize), and eyeseryl & argireline (to depuff & brighten dark circles). Overall, I love how smoothing, hydrating, and plumping this eye gel is. It never irritates the sensitive skin around my eyes, just soothes & hydrates! Love this stuff. Am definitely planning on purchasing the full size for $54. The Biossance website always has great sales, so I’m sure I can find it on discount plus get a bunch of extra samples! FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry It is a hydrating Vitamin C rich eye cream and targets dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles, dryness. Key ingredients - Vitamin C (Natural Acerola Cherry and Vitamin C Derivatives)
- Hyaluronic Acid: A potent combination of four different types of hyaluronic acid.
- Sacha Inchi Peptide + Caffeine. This is a lighweight eye cream, bouncy in texture. It is hydrating and I am happy that it actually brightens my under eye area. I have been using this for 2 weeks. It absorbs really quick and layers well under the makeup. It is still too early to say about the fine lines. I love this eye cream for its instant radiance to my under-eye area. I wanted an eye cream for my dark circles and this one fits my concerns well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants hydration as well as radiance for their under eye area. The price is 45$ for 0.5 oz but its worth the price.

Review of C-tango multivitamin
Review of C-tango multivitamin eye cream from Drunk elephant:. 🐘 This is a nice rich textured cream that sits well under the eye area. It absorbs almost instantly and make up sits well on top. Even though it's rich it doesn't feel heavy at all. 🐘 It contains Vitamin C and claims to brighten, hydrate and restore the eye area. This was a review I was dreading because I'm unsure on my thoughts completely. The reason for this is that it has worked amazing at keeping my eye area hydrated and it has softened lines to the point where I'm really smooth now but since I’ve started using it I have terrible dark circles under my eyes which I have never had before. I don't know if this is caused by the fact that I've been feeling poorly or whether my La Mer eye cream kept them at bay. . 🐘 I have also noticed that sometimes when I apply this my under eye area has started going really red where it looks like I've been rubbing my eyes, this doesn't happen all the time and it's only started this past week so I don't know if it's eye cream related or whether the change in weather has caused it. 🐘 Even though I have noticed dark circles while using this I am thinking that it can be down to the fact that I'm not sleeping very well because I've been unwell. Another reason could be that I need iron tablets again for my anemia so I might make a doctors appointment and get my iron levels checked again. 🐘 I will be continuing to use this eye cream until it's finished to see whether I like it enough to repurchase. I'm not ready to rule it out because it's the best eye cream that I've used for smoothing my fine lines, like they are legit so smooth and I don't look wrinkly there as much as I used to, so that is reason enough for me to continue using it.

✨EYE CREAMS✨current favs …………………………………………………………………………………………… 💦 Dr. Dennis Gross “Hyaluronic Marine Dew It All Gel”: has more of a lotion/gel texture & dries almost instantaneously. Hyaluronic acid is the primary ingredient so it provides good hydration & helps smooth away fine lines- also contains green caviar algae (boosts elasticity & smoothes fine lines), caffeine/carribean gorgonian extract/sarsaparilla root (reduces water retention under the skin surface to diminish puffiness & dark circles) & optical diffusers (brightens). When I use it before bed it helps prevent under eye puffiness (which I can get to the extreme). . 💕Saturday Skin “Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream”: contains date seed extract (brightens), Cha-7 es Complex (peptide complex to support the skin’s natural regeneration process), avocado protein extracts (firm & depuff) + hyaluronic acid (nourish & maximize hydration)-it has a lightweight gel/cream texture so it quickly absorbs into skin but it still provides good hydration! I really like the texture of this one, & it helps w/ my under eye puffiness! . 💦 Neocutis “Lumiere Bio-Restorative Eye Cream”: this is probably my favorite anti-aging eye cream of all time in terms of efficacy (& value at $97). I was first introduced to this eye cream at my local dermatologist’s office & have repurchased at least 7X now (even though a little goes a long way!). It contains Processed Skin Cell Proteins (an anti-aging blend of proteins/polypeptides that harnesses the power of human growth factors & other biological mediators to fight fine lines/wrinkles), caffeine (depuffs), hyaluronic acid (plumps & hydrates skin ) & bisabolol (primary component of essential oil extracted from chamomile that serves as a skin conditioning agent w/ anti-inflammatory & skin-healing effects to diminish dark circles, fight the appearance of fatigue & increase penetration of the other ingredients). It has a “true eye cream” texture but it absorbs into skin quickly & helps prevent & reduce my eye puffiness. ………………………………………………………………………………………… ****all purchased on my own = all honest opinions****

Farmacy Beauty Cheer Up
Farmacy Beauty Cheer Up
I know I talked about this beauty not too long ago but when I come across a product that wows me, I can’t stop talking about it! And this one here...WOW! And now that I’ve been using it longer, I’ve had a Berger chance to fully review it. Farmacy Beauty knocked it out of the park once again with Cheer Up. This one is going right along side my HG Honeymoon Glow! Goodbye dark circles. Didn’t get much sleep last night, don’t worry, dab on some Cheer Up and nobody will know be able to tell! 🤩 I’ve always been on the side of the street that your regular moisturizer can cover your eye care needs. Boy did I change my mind when I was constantly trying to cover up my circle crops with concealer. I’ve tried other products along the way that had vitamin c in them but I found none of them to be as effective. ———- What’s the scoop? Powerful brightening blend. This potent formula visibly firms and smooths the look of fine lines with 4% vitamin C, natural peptides and caffeine. Instant radiance. Hyaluronic acid and three types of vitamin C, including acerola cherry, rejuvenate the eye contour and help reduce the appearance of dark circles. Fast-absorbing.Sinks into skin quickly and doesn’t pill under makeup. $45 0.5 oz ———— I have fallen in love with Farmacy Beauty’s acerola cherries line! From Very Cherry Clean to Very Cherry Bright and now Cheer Up! The scent is just heavenly. Its not too strong but just subtle enough to detect. 🍒 And the texture? So bouncy and light! It just sinks so effortlessly into the skin. . I’ve been using mine both morning and night around the whole area of my eye. I’ve seen a vast improvement on my eyelids. My whole eye area just looks brighter. When I go to do my makeup, no more concealer! 🎉 . What’s your favorite eye cream? Have you tried Cheer Up? What’s been your experience with it?
