Hunting for the Glossier ☁️ 🎨 dupe - Part 3

Glossy.glossary
So, I love Glossier’s Cloud Paint! But I have continued my hunt to test out some more possible dupes from the drugstore because I think it’s just nice to have a more affordable and accessible option. And because I think the limit does not exist for cream products 🙊 Enter MILANI - Cheek Kiss Blush
. I actually saw this briefly in a YouTube video from Shelbey Wilson a few weeks ago. So I thought I would try it out for myself. I believe this is actually Milani’s first liquid blush so I was excited to try it. I originally bought Pink Flirt because I thought it would be a close match for Glossier’s Puff, but as you’ll see in the second picture, Pink Flirt (bottom) is a bit more of a hot pink versus Puff (top) which is more of a baby pink. Spoiler alert: I think the Quo - Featherweight Cream Blushis probably a closer match for Glossier’s Cloud Paint, but I still really like this product. The good: + This gives your cheeks such a dewy and natural tint to the cheeks. If you like the no-makeup makeup looks, this would be a great option for you. + It does have a nice amount of pigment (seems a tiny bit more sheer than Cloud Paint), but it does blend out nicely and doesn’t look patchy at all. + It’s a super lightweight formula which is easy to apply just like Cloud Paint. + Love the colour options (seem like a very similar range to Glossier, just a little brighter). I think Berry Smooch could be very pretty. + Depending on where you get this it’s $10-$14 which is about the same for the Quo blush and it’s definitely cheaper than Glossier’s at $22. + You get a little bit more product than with Cloud Paint (10.8 mL vs 10 mL). The not so good: - I’d say this is a little bit more on the gel side versus Cloud Paint which is a little bit creamier. For me, I find that with Cloud Paint I can either go for something a little bit more pigment and natural looking OR I can add in some Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybridand make it more glowy, sheer and dewy. With the Cheek Kiss, it’s more glowy, sheer and dewy to start with. No problem if you love that look anyways, but I do like the versatility of the Cloud Paint and Quo Featherweight Cream Blush. Worth it? For a girl who loves a dewy and natural look - absolutely. It’s affordable, a good amount of product, lots of options and I think it looks really pretty. Would I repurchase? I’m already checking out other colours. In reality I’ll probably create a collection of different shades from Quo, Glossier and Milani 🙈 Ps now that I have a plethora of cream blushes to go through, I’m on the hunt for the perfect cream bronzer. Let me know if you have any suggestions! 💕

GLOSSI-ITIS
Can someone tell me why I’m mentally conditioned to want to buy ANYTHING new Glossier releases?? Regardless of whether I actually want it or need it?? And then once I get it I end up ALSO getting like every other thing that I may or may not have emptied yet? What should we call this?? Glossi-itis?? Glossi-ism?? Anyway. I got the new fig balm dot com bc idk about y’all but I do love me some figs!! Deets on my haul: Since I’ve worn zero makeup in the last 8 months I had to re-up on my boy brow since my old one is crusty and dried up. I still feel like there are better brow products out there but again...Glossier-itis came for me. Glossier. - Boy Brow I’ve been trying the new Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara recently and it looks GOOD when it’s on but zang it does NOT stay on and smudges everywhereeeee. So of course I had to go back to the Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara bc it just hits different. I have every other cloud paint so I decided to get this one in puff. I hardly ever use them...but have them anyway.....Glossi-ism..Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color If you also suffer from this condition, make sure you get a bundle for the 3 products above to at least protect your coin and not let this problem destroy you financially. Glossier. - The Makeup Set And finally for what I actually intended to buy... Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig. It has a tint to it that you can’t see bc I have darker lips 👄 but idgaf bc I love figs. It doesn’t smell as much like a fig as I’d like though, but there is something deep down inside me that is letting that slide bc the colors are an actual vibe and I’m here for it....Glossiorder??? If you have any other names for this Glossier induced condition that I’m sure many suffer from, feel free to leave a comment! And best of luck to you on your journey to recovery (lol, like that’s going to happen bc they launched new body hero today and I’m like......👀👀👀👀)

My Favourite Cream Blushes
Let me first off say that I LOVE blush! Any kind I think it adds such a nice colour and healthy glow. I love more dramatic blush as well as a natural look. I have tried a lot of different kinds such as bouncy blushes, cream blushes, blush sticks etc. So here a couple of my favourite cream blushes with their pros and cons, and maybe later I’ll share my favourite powder blushes! benefit - Benefit Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain Shade: Love tint CAD $24 Pros: - Stays on very well throughout the day as well as under a mask without rubbing off too much. - Looks very natural but is buildable. - Easy doe foot applicator. - Best blended with a sponge. Cons: - You have to work quickly as it dries down quite fast. - If you’re not fast enough it can leave a stamping mark. Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Shade: Joy CAD $26 Pros: - Gives a natural dewy look to the skin. - Adds a healthy glow. - Very buildable and lightweight. - Very pigmented! You only need a tiny dot for both cheeks. Cons: - Dries down fast and can leave a stamping mark. - Very pigmented and is easy to go overboard, especially with the darker shades. - Sometimes doesn’t look the best over powder. Freck BEAUTY - CHEEKSLIME Lip + Cheek Tint with Plant Collagen Shade: Fielding CAD $24 Pros: - Super pigmented! - Best applies with a sponge. - You get lots of product so it’ll last a long time. - A little goes a long way. Cons: - Can pill and rub off your skin in an odd way. Is easy to go overboard and apply too much. - Probably not the best for dry skin because it emphasizes flakes on me sometimes. Quo - Featherweight Cream Blush Shade: Dreamy 73 CAD $10 Pros: - You can find it at the drugstore (I don’t know if it’s available in the US). - Price is very reasonable. - Easy to apply with a sponge. - A good dupe for Glossier Cloud paint. Cons: - If you apply it on the back of your hand before your face it’s easy to squeeze out too much. - Kind of pills like the Freck Cheekslime. All in all I love all of these blushes and they all have their pros and cons.

Hunting for the Glossier ☁️ 🎨 dupe - Part 2
So, I love Glossier’s Cloud Paint. But I really wanted to find a dupe from the drugstore because it’s just nice to have a more affordable and accessible option. Enter Quo - Featherweight Cream Blush ! I bought this one on whim. I hadn’t heard much about it and it was my first time trying this brand (which might be 🇨🇦 exclusive). And I must say, this is a pretty amazing dupe for Cloud Paint. The formula acts super similar to Cloud Paint and the colours are even pretty similar. So far, I am loving this product and in particular, the shade Halo 35. The good: + This formula is super similar to Cloud Paint. It’s a cream-gel texture and it has a good amount of pigment, but it also has the ability to shear out if you want it to. + It provides a dewy and natural-looking flush your the skin. Plus it’s super easy to blend into the skin or dab on top of makeup. + It’s a lightweight formula, but it has great staying power throughout the day. + This also mixes well with Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybridwhich I love to use to shear out my Cloud Paint on “no makeup” days. + The shade Halo 35 is almost a perfect colour match for when I mix Beam and Puff from Glossier, which is my favourite blush colour. + It’s $14 which isn’t THAT cheap, but it’s more affordable than Cloud Paint (typically $22). + Like Cloud Paint, you just need a little bit of product each time. So I can see this lasting quite a long time. And you get 13 mL with quo over the 10 mL from Glossier. The not so good: - I guess it does feel a bit weird that this is such a close dupe. The packaging, the formula, the colours. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... right? Worth it? Yes!!! More affordable, a bit more product, very similar results. Love it. Would I repurchase? Yes. Especially with the price and my ability to go see these in person, I’m tempted to try some more colours too. I notice that these are quickly starting to sell out at Shoppers Drug Mart and I am definitely on the hunt for some new colours. :)

Futuredew more like futuregrease 🥴🌿
This is my second bottle of this product because I purchased two when I was trying it out. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid It is a great product however not really for its intended purpose........😙 Instead of giving a glow I would definitely say it gives me more of a grease appearance. It works great as an oil that nourishes though, it has Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba as well as many others! I put this on before bed and I feel I have seen a difference in my red skin calming down just a bit. It has fragrance that smells like herbs though (and essential oils) so non-fragrance people beware !!!! ❌ 🤠 I would also say that if you wait a few hours for this to dry or just apply way less than the two pumps Glossier recommends, it gives more of the effect it intended. I would still not apply to your nose if you have an oily nose because whooooo man when I waited a few hours, the rest of my skin had more of a glowy look but my nose still was very greasy. Uwu. Overall I would say it’s a great oil serum and if you wait a few hours or maybe a little more it will give you more of the glowy effect. I hope everyone has a nice day!

Glossier Worth The Hype?💫
So as you may know, Glossier is a VERY popular brand but mostly for its aesthetics. But here we are reviewing more than the aesthetics. Let’s talk about what products are worth the hype🙂. Glossier. - The Skincare Edit The skincare.... So they have a 𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿 and what from i heard off, its JUST a normal cleanser, nothing special. Honestly it’s very overpriced for a small normal cleanser. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿: Just a normal moisturizer too🙂. Very soft. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺𝘀: Glossier. - The Super PackGlossiers serums are actually not as mad as I thought, still pricey but not as bad. Many people don’t see a change while using them and others do so it always depends but if you have the money, buying these hopefully will not be a let down. Glossier. - Mask Duo𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀: nothing special, makes your face soft🌸 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙪𝙥: Glossier. - Cloud Paint DuoGlossier. - Lash Slick MascaraThis product is TOTALLY worth it. Really pigmented and very good for your makeup🥰. Also the mascara is a normal good mascara! Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter ConcentrateGlossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘁. Lastly the 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 are good and many have said 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter is not good cause it barley gives anything. What’s your experience with glossier? Use the link in my bio for 10% off GLOSSIER!!! (𝙰𝚗𝚢 𝚚𝚞𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜? 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝!) (pictures from Pinterest)

Glossier “Dewy” look lasts ALL DAY ✨
Glossier “Dewy” look lasts ALL DAY ✨
Alright so I’ve never been a super fan of any makeup brand before... until TODAY. This is my Glossier look after a full day of being out, cuddling with the BF, and more. I am genuinely obsessed! Natural makeup has always been my vibe and I finally found a brand that helps me feel my most beautiful and natural ☺️ In particular I am so excited about the combination of Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid and Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color as I had read that some people felt it made them look oily after a few hours. I have combination skin and luckily this never made me look oily, I just kept my glowing look all day long 😭⭐️ I followed the advice of another cherie creator (@theluxeminimalist) who said they only applied the serum on specific areas so I only put it on my cheeks! I barely had to use any product which means it will last me a while. I could not recommend these products more!! ❤️ (full list of products used is in my last post)

My Glossier products
My Glossier products
Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I have the shades dusk and puff and they are definitely one of my favourite beauty products, they are super pigmented, and blend seamlessly. I’ve had these for over a year, and I still have product in the tubes, and I just ordered two more shades from glossier. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom I have mint, birthday and the coconut balm dotcom. The birthday cake one is definitely my favourite, it’s smells amazing plus has glitter, like how cute! The mint is my next favourite, the scent is more neutral and not overpowering, so it’s one that you can use all the time, and then there’s the coconut one, the reason why it’s my least favourite out of the three that I have is because the smell can give me a bit of a headache, it’s a pretty overpowering scent. But overall, these are super hydrating and give a natural satin/matte look to the lips. I would definitely repurchase, maybe I’ll try some new flavours next time! Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter I have the shade quartz and honestly I wish It would give me more of a glow, it might be that when combined with the rest of my makeup routine it doesn’t perform as well as it would with the other glossier face products, I just don’t find it gives me glowy skin. But I do like the shade, it’s a nice champagney colour, and matches my skin tone quite well. I just ordered some more glossier products let me know if you want me to do a first impressions/review when they get here :)

Glowy, long-lasting and super versatile
Glowy, long-lasting and super versatile
I bought this Stila liquid eyeshadow in “starlight” on a total whim and although I typically go for a more natural look, I do love this product for summer when I want to look extra glowy and golden. I also love to use it in different ways and I find it to be very versatile and mix well with other products! How I use it: - Cream eyeshadow alone that I apply with my finger. It provides a fairly pigmented gold shadow or a shear wash of golden sparkle depending on how much you apply. - Mix with Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in “Beam” to create a beautiful golden-orange eyeshadow that makes blue eyes pop. - Mix with Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid to create a sheer, golden and dewy highlight that I use on the high points of my face. The good: + As I mentioned before, I love how versatile it is. + Beautiful shimmer that nicely reflects the light. + This shade in particular I find you can have a shimmery and sheer application or you can get a super pigmented look if you apply more. + Absolutely not patchy at all. And I find that it’s a very consistent product. + Stays all day and won’t flake or transfer. I would say it would take a lot for this to move once it’s dried down. + Super easy to apply either with the applicator or your finger and it dries down pretty quickly which helps avoid any smudging. + Non-irritating on my eyes. The not so good: - The price feels a little steep at $31. - I won’t pretend that there isn’t a little creasing, but I do find it to be quite minor. Worth it? Since you can use it in so many ways, I do think it’s worth the price point of $31. Once you find your perfect shade, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the final results and the different looks you can make with it. Plus this has lasted me almost a year now and hasn’t dried out (although I think I’m due to buy a new one soon because ... hygiene 🙃). Will I repurchase? I might try out a different colour / shade, but yes definitely a repurchase. Thought of the day: I have started mixing more and more of my products lately. Don’t know why but it’s typically using Glossier products. Anyone else constantly mixing products?

Cloud paint never fails!
Hi everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here and THANK U to all the new followers! Let’s talk about Glossier. I’ve been skeptical about a lot of their products and I’ve been unlucky enough to get a lot of faulty products too, BUT one thing I do love is CLOUD PAINT *heart eyes* Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color Gel/cream texture blush to add a gorgeous flush. + easy to work with + buildable pigmentation + little goes a long way + apply with fingers, brush, or sponge + range of shades for all styles and skin tones - cheap packaging - a lot can squeeze out of the tube if you aren’t gentle. If there’s one Glossier product that I will fully stand by, it’s definitely Cloud Paint 🥰

Excited about NY, going to pre
Excited about NY, going to prep my skin up tonight 🥰, not 100% sure what mask I will use. So I have had glossier for a couple of weeks now, so have had a good play with the products. First off the packaging is spot on! My opinions on the products. 🔸Cloud paint: Really like these! Really pigmented and apply really well and last a while, even on my slightly oily summer face. The one I have been reaching for is “dusk” which is a brownish nude, and is so perfect for everyday. I apply with my fingers then buff out with an eco tools stripping brush. 🔸Balm Dotcom: These are pretty good and I like them but I wouldn’t say they are must have, I have a variety of balms that work just as well. 🔸Boybrow: love this! I have been growing my brows out and using a brow serum to help with the growth as I over plucked in my 20s and also lost some hair when I was pregnant. This brow gel gives my brows volume and gives me actual boy brows, I could be competing with my husband right now! 🔸Lashslick: Nice mascara for everyday natural look. 🔸Haloscope: In colour quartz. Very Dewy highlighter. I like it but have to be careful when I use it, it can “move” my foundation if I am not careful and if my face is oily it can make it look oilier. So quite like the products, and for the price point they are good! They are perfect for a natural look, and that is their selling point. My favourite is the cloud paints, very pigmented and easy to blend and don’t settle into pores.
