theslyestfoxHave you tried using just warm water and soaking this for removal? I’ve heard this may be a tubing mascara and if it is, you would use warm water to loosen it and then when you’re rubbing it off it would come off as little solid flecks of black instead of looking like paint that smudges under your eyes. Is that what it’s like? I personally prefer tubing mascara so if this is like that I want to try it! Tubing mascara tends to remove better with just warm water and not with remover or balm or micellar water though!

Lash Slick Dupe Review
I will admit that I immediately fell in love with the effortless application of Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara and its amazing "my lashes but better" look. However, I have one major issue with this beautiful mascara.... it constantly flakes throughout the day. This is a huge let down considering it is on the pricier side. so instead of shedding some tears over my let down, I decided to put a supposed dupe to the test. The wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara costs significantly less and overall gives the EXACT same look as Lash Slick and the wand applicator looks pretty much identical. Better yet, I have no flaking! The only difference I can tell is the actual formula itself. I personally like the feel and application of Lash Slick better than the Mega Length Mascara. It glides on easier and feels smoother. But, I dislike flaking and that is a hard pass for me. The winner in my book is Mega Length!
I have to admit I have been in love with the asthetics of Glossier for a couple years now but the price point always made me hesitant. This year I FINALLY decided to take advantage of their Cyber Sale. Overall, I wasn't left disappointed! Glossier definitely has the "no makeup makeup" concept down and I was super impressed with how well some of the products helped me achieve this look. Glossier. - Boy Brow This is for sure a new staple in my makeup bag! The formula is light and performs beautifully to give your brows a natural shape. I previously used the e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel as a dupe recommendation and I personally don't think it's a comparable dupe at all. While the results are similar, Boy Brow is more waxy and moveable, while Wow Brow leaves my eyebrows crunchy and weighted down. Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick I really wanted to love this lipstick. I adore the concept and it genuinely gives a blotted lipstick look. I love the color (I purchased like) because it gives me a "my lips but better" color. However, I can't get over the waxy plastic smell they claim to be lychee rose. It lingers on my lips and it's a no for me because of the fragrance. Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder This really is WOWder! It's light as it claims, eliminates some dewy shine from your face, and works wonders to even skin tone and blurr large pores. It's a new favorite in my makeup collection and has replaced light foundation when I want a simple no makeup look. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom Hands down the best lipbalm I have ever used, no question about it! I purchased the original and mint, which I use several times a day now. I plan on purchasing more in the near future so they can live all over my house and in my purse forever and ever. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I was nervous about this product based on the reviews I read. It really does give a healthy glow to the skin that looks like it comes from within. I use it as a natural looking highlighter too. But it doesn't completely dry down, thus one star removed. Glossier. - Stretch Concealer This isn't a medium or full coverage concealer, but in my opinion it still performs beautifully. After applying it under my eyes I noticed the area looked brighter and I looked more awake. It doesn't cover redness but it does even skin tone some and looks like my skin, but better. I don't have any creasing either after wearing it all day. Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara I love everything about this mascara EXCEPT it sometimes flakes. It really gives my lashes a natural look and again, "my lashes but better." I am on the hunt for a dupe that doesn't flake. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color These are everything they are hyped up to be and more! I purchased Beam and Dusk. Both look beautiful, are highly pigmented, and give my cheeks a healthy natural glow.
A dupe worth the hype 🙏🏼
A friend told me about this, they said this wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara was a perfect dupe for the Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara First thing I’ll say is I like the Glossier mascara a lot, but it doesn’t lift my lashes too much and it definitely does not look like lash extensions as advertised (at least not on me). Now, the wet n wild mascara is definitely an amazing dupe for glossier lash slick. They had a very similar plastic brush, it’s super flexible so it gets every lash and as you can see, the wet n wild side looks a lot more lifted and separated not to mention it was only like $3 compared to $16 for lash slick!

Hellllloooo Quarantine Lash Extension Dupe
This mascara has got my lashes longer than all my relationships put together. Kidding but also kinda not? I’m sure I’m not the only one crying without my lash tech during quarantine & instantly started looking for a new mascara. I’ve seen this pop up on my IG for so long & finally took the plunge to try it & the results obv speak for themselves. I’m naturally blonde & have a super light complexion so IMO the blacker the pigment the better when it comes to mascara and this Thrive one does NOT disappoint. It is also a tubing mascara which in laypeople terms means it does some cool science and wraps around your individual lashes in a “tube” form instead of painting them like other mascaras do. This is the real magic of this baby because it DOES 👏🏻NOT 👏🏻BUDGE 👏🏻 but also comes off so easy with nothing but rubbing your eyes warm water. I literally don’t even know what else I could hope for. I felt like it was really important to have a photo of the applicator because it is plastic instead of a normal spoolie and it makes SUCH a difference with separating lashes & ensure no clumps!!! The first time i put it on, 1 swipe and i felt like my extensions were back in action. 2 swipes and i felt like my lashes were reaching up to heaven. 100/10 recommend because the hype is soooo real 😍 thrive causemetics - Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara™ #CherieCreator

A Lash Slick dupe that deserves some love
I was inspired by@francinevegato try this Glossier dupe and I am so happy I did (thank you Francine)! Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, Lash Slick is my almost perfect everyday mascara. It gives my fluttery, long lashes but also keeps them separated and natural looking. My main issue is that it just doesn’t keep them very curled. wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara Enter Mega Length Mascara... it’s totally worth a try. Especially for under $5!! I got this one from Walmart and I was immediately struck by how similar the packaging and wand are to Lash Slick’s. I’ve been using for a couple weeks now and I am really loving it. The good: + It definitely lengthens you’re lashes. It gives me that kind of “natural eye lash extension” look and I definitely see a difference in how lifted / curled my eyelashes look. + My lashes stay curled all day! + I find it easier to take off than the Lash Slick mascara (maybe this means it’s not as water resistant.. but I don’t mind). + I haven’t dealt with any transfer to my eyelids or under my eyes. + The price and accessibility of the product (aka you can pick it up at several drugstores or department stores). The not so good: - I might be crazy but I swear the brush isn’t as ... comfortable for applying mascara.. it feels like a little less gentle when applying it to your lashes. - I do feel like this formula clumps a little more than Lash Slick’s and my lashes will sometimes stick together in a couple places. But then I’ll just work with the brush to separate the lashes again. The clumps are very minimal, I’m just picky. 🙃 I might be a sucker... but I really respect the Glossier brand and I love their packaging, so I still think I will repurchase the Lash Slick again! However, if I am ever between shipments or if I want to start saving up for something, I will probably reach for this instead. 💕

Glossier Lash Slick
Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara This replaced my favorite mascara. I used to exclusively use the Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara but I tried this since it’s at a lower price point, plus the packaging on this is just darn cute. This mascara was so easy to use, never clumps, had the perfect plastic bristle brush (which I prefer), and really gets every lash coated. Plus this doesn’t come off until you wash it off with warm water. It’s a tuning mascara so it coats the lashes and makes them longer. I wear this mostly for every day looks and sometimes for going out looks when my lashes are cooperating with me. I just never really have an issue with it and it’s so easy to get off. I’m on my third tube now!

Best brow gel
This is hands down my favorite tinted brow gel! The texture isn’t sticky, not super thick but still gives the brows some color and keeps them in place all day! I definitely wish Sephora carried Glossier. I’m obsessed! I would definitely recommend this product! I haven’t found a dupe that works quite like this one! I love it. Glossier. - Boy Brow
FINALLY!!! an Update on the maybelline Lash Sensational Boost Serum! I‘ve been using it for over a month now 💕 I‘m not sure if it did anything, maybe they look a bit fuller? 😋
