Glossier Review

I have to admit I have been in love with the asthetics of Glossier for a couple years now but the price point always made me hesitant. This year I FINALLY decided to take advantage of their Cyber Sale. Overall, I wasn't left disappointed! Glossier definitely has the "no makeup makeup" concept down and I was super impressed with how well some of the products helped me achieve this look. Glossier. - Boy Brow
This is for sure a new staple in my makeup bag! The formula is light and performs beautifully to give your brows a natural shape. I previously used the e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel
as a dupe recommendation and I personally don't think it's a comparable dupe at all. While the results are similar, Boy Brow is more waxy and moveable, while Wow Brow leaves my eyebrows crunchy and weighted down. Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick
I really wanted to love this lipstick. I adore the concept and it genuinely gives a blotted lipstick look. I love the color (I purchased like) because it gives me a "my lips but better" color. However, I can't get over the waxy plastic smell they claim to be lychee rose. It lingers on my lips and it's a no for me because of the fragrance. Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder
This really is WOWder! It's light as it claims, eliminates some dewy shine from your face, and works wonders to even skin tone and blurr large pores. It's a new favorite in my makeup collection and has replaced light foundation when I want a simple no makeup look. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom
Hands down the best lipbalm I have ever used, no question about it! I purchased the original and mint, which I use several times a day now. I plan on purchasing more in the near future so they can live all over my house and in my purse forever and ever. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid
I was nervous about this product based on the reviews I read. It really does give a healthy glow to the skin that looks like it comes from within. I use it as a natural looking highlighter too. But it doesn't completely dry down, thus one star removed. Glossier. - Stretch Concealer
This isn't a medium or full coverage concealer, but in my opinion it still performs beautifully. After applying it under my eyes I noticed the area looked brighter and I looked more awake. It doesn't cover redness but it does even skin tone some and looks like my skin, but better. I don't have any creasing either after wearing it all day. Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara
I love everything about this mascara EXCEPT it sometimes flakes. It really gives my lashes a natural look and again, "my lashes but better." I am on the hunt for a dupe that doesn't flake. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color
These are everything they are hyped up to be and more! I purchased Beam and Dusk. Both look beautiful, are highly pigmented, and give my cheeks a healthy natural glow.

When you clean out your bag & find all the balms
I have lip balms everywhere. And I keep buying them. It’s an affliction. This is my current collection. I’m just going to talk about my favorites. I’ve found that I can NOT use beeswax lip balms. I pass those onto my kids. It’s specific to me so I won’t receive the Burts Bees, etc. Favorite lip balms Favorite Flavor LIP SMACKER - Dr. Pepper Lip Balm Tin Dr. Pepper Lipsmackers forever. It smells SO yummy. And it leaves a really nice natural/sheer wash of red on your lips so you could use it instead of lipstick. I wouldn’t say this is a good therapeutic balm, but I love it. Favorite Scent Toyko Milk Dark - this is like a cherry bourbon flavor/scent. And I kind of want to eat it. Favorite for Super Chapped Lips - like bleeding Blistex - Lip Medex this is old school menthol-y hardcore lip stuff. I use it when my lips are just a hot mess. It’s gooey and slimey and doesn’t play well with makeup. But it works. Favorite Everyday Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm the green one. It’s smooth and creamy rather than gooey. It’s light and makes your lips look refreshed. What is your favorite??? Which balms am I missing that you think I need to try??

Products Getting Me Through Winter! ❄
Since I can remember I've had oily to combination skin, until this winter. It's been a rough one! My skin has been SO dry, and it's hard to keep up with it. Especially since I'm prone to acne and clogged pores, so I can't use a lot of heavy creams and pore clogging products. These I wouldn't be able to live without this winter! COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence 🐌 I love this essence! This is a Korean product (Korean skin care will always be a hit). And it's made with Snail Mucin, weird right? This contains 96% snail mucin, which has incredible healing and antimicrobial properties. It promotes collagen production and aids in skin regeneration. And it's a top pick for dry skin types because of its amazing ability to hydrate. This has a jelly-like texture and I find myself ALWAYS reaching for this. Most of the claimed benefits do come with time. Another product I'm loving is the DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum 💧This is a serum that came in a DE kit and I really want the full size! This seriously feels like a cold drink of water for your skin. It's lightweight and spreads nicely. It not only has Sodium Hyaluronate, (which is like hyarulonic Acid on steroids) but also Pineapple Ceramide and provitamin B5, an amazing humectant. As well as a lentil/apple/watermelon complex. It's not crazy different from other Hyarulonic Acid serums I've tried, but it's great! I finally got to try the cult favorite DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream . And wow I'm glad I did! This cream does have a few possible pore clogging ingredients so I was afraid to use it, but It's helped my dryness so much! It feels sooo moisturizing and soothing. I love that this is a protein moisturizer that has peptides, growth factors, amino acids, and pygmy waterlily to improve your overall skin health. This is an amazing anti-aging and skin strengthening moisturizer. I love using this it's a great experience. I already reviewed this incredible product, the Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 👄 It's become a staple lip balm for me. It's extremely hydrating and packed with antioxidants and natural emollients. It has Castor Oil, Beeswax, and Lanolin to seal in moisture. It leaves my lips looking sooo hydrated and smooth. It's THE perfect lip balm and I am obsessed. Feel free to comment or ask any questions below 💗

battle of the brow gels 🤺 // bushy brow look
I’ve been OBSESSEDDDD with brow gels ever since COVID hit since I refuse to do a full face of makeup only to sit on a few zoom meetings a day with my camera off in half of them. for a minimal makeup look, I do brow gels and lip gloss and call it a day! I’ve used a ton of brow gels in the past and none of them hold up my super straight and thin brows and make them look fuller and bushy (soap brow look). most of them deposit color onto my skin instead of actually geling down my brows, so here are a few of the brow products that DIDN’T work for me, and the two that did: COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel sadly didn’t do anything for me but deposit pigment on my skin. I know people rave about this one but it doesn’t actually gel my finicky brow hairs. Glossier. - Boy Brow sadly this barely deposited color on my brows and didn’t actually “gel” them into place (think: soap brows sticking up!) I don’t think my brows have enough hair or thickness for this brow gel, but if you have naturally nice brows, this might be a good one for you. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel while this brow gel did provide some “gel” aspect to it and helped my brow hairs stay lifted, it was somewhat hard to work with because the brush is larger than the typical brow gel brush. COVERGIRL - Easy Breezy Volumizing Brow Gel this is one of the better brow gels I’ve tried from the drugstore AND it’s more accessible and affordable. though I felt like it did lift my brow gels and keep them in place, the pigment was lackluster. I would still recommend this one for those that have Covergirl accessible to them and would like to invest in a more affordable option. PACIfICA - Highest Def Hemp Fiber Brow Set DING DING! my brow gel winner! ✨ this brow gel is EVERYTHING I’ve ever wanted in a brow gel. it lifts my brow hairs and keeps them in place and contains micro fibers that enhance my real brow hairs and make them look fluffy and thick with absolutely no other brow product. I was absolutely stoked when I found this product and have repurchased since. this is what I thought the Glossier Boy Brow hype would be like, and is available at Ulta for a fairly affordable price (and coupons and discounts can be applied toward Pacifica!). since using this brow gel, I’ve seldom used other brow gels or brow product and would totally recommend to any other *passionate* brow gel lovers like me. overall, I would 100% recommend the Pacifica brow gel and it’s become an absolute HG, especially working from home. although it’s affordable, the Covergirl one is a great alternative if you’d like something more wallet-friendly and accessible. I wouldn’t recommend any high end brow gel or the hyped Glossier one because I think there’s better options, especially if you have stubborn brows like mine. what’s your fave brow product?? would love to know!

Glossier Haul!
First, this packaging is so cute!! I never thought I would contemplate keeping the packaging of something hahahaha. This is my first ever purchase from Glossier, so here are my thoughts! I ordered this on Black Friday and it arrived on December 16, which was about two and a half weeks total, which my fellow Canadians know isn’t awful for shipping! I had wanted to try the brow flick for soooo long, but I also decided to get the balm dotcom trio as well. I got the flavours mango, birthday cake and coconut. It arrived in a box that was a great size, nothing too big or too small, it also came in the cutest bag and had some fun stickers as well. Glossier. - Brow Flick the Brow Flick I could have definitely gone a shade lighter, but as long as I tap out the lines, this looks amazing. My province is currently in a lockdown, and this makes my brows look tinted without being able to go see my brown girl. I think I will love this once I can get my roots done again! Glossier. - Balm Dotcom I tried the Balm Dotcom in the Birthday cake flavour and man, it’s so spot on! It tastes exactly like birthday cake and it’s just wonderful. I’ve found the best way to use this is on wet lips so it can lock in as much moister as possible. I’ve been using this before going to bed and have been loving it! Overall, I’m very impressed with my experience with Glossier and would purchase from them again!

Minty eyes 🌿
It was cloudy day today and I wanted to experiment with greens, I wanted to do something bold and bright. I usually never reach for greens but I have a colorful eyeshadow palette and looking at the colors males me want to use them. I ended up with a dewy minty eye look. For primer (not pictured) I used touch in sol glassy balm primer. It hydrate my skin and makes it look dewy. touch in SOL - Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm For foundation I used the pūrlisse youth glow vitamin C CC cream spf 50 in Fair. I got this in my Ipsy bag a couple months ago and I’ve been loving it. pūrlisse - Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream SPF 50 Concealer I used a cult classic, NARS radiant creamy concealer in vanilla. This is one of my favorites. It gives me a natural look. NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer For brows I used my absolute favorite brow pencil and it’s the elf instant brow pencil. I’ve been using this for years and it’s the one I always come back to. Super affordable too! e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil BH cosmetics take me back to Brazil palette- I love this palette. So many different colors to choose from and really pigmented. bh - Take Me Back to Brazil 35 Color Pressed Pigment Palette I used my essence eyeliner pen in young and free (pastel yellow). It’s a super cute color. I decided to add some dots to the outer edge of my green eyeshadow. essence - essence Eyeliner Pen I used milk makeup kush mascara and it’s really nice. It separates my lashes and makes them look longer too. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara I used Sephora collection gel lip liner in creme de la creme to line my lips a little bit. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rouge Gel Lip Liner For my lips I used glossier’s vinylic lip in the shade disco. It’s like a terra cotta/orangey tint to it. It’s my first time using it and I’m already in love. It also has some shine to it so my lips won’t be dehydrated. Glossier. - Vinylic Lip High Shine Lacquer For blush I used glossier’s cloud paint in dawn, it’s a orangey sunny coral color. I used a little bit of this and it’s super pretty. I love it. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color

New Year’s Eve look!
To me, NYE is all about shiny and shimmery things, so I decided to go with a subtle gold shimmery look! I am by no means an eyeshadow master, so this is my best attempt, please bear with me! I just dabbed a little eyeshadow on my finger, and dabbed it onto my eye. I used BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow to fill in my brows. I used #Burt’s Bees - Nourishing Eyeliner Pencil[products]#[FiveStars] in warm brown to give natural definition to my eyes and COVERGIRL - LashBlast Volume Mascara for my lashes. I used my favorite SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler to lift my lashes. I didn’t use any concealer or foundation today, so my HIP marks were showing, but I put some BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder on my cheek bones, some Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color along my cheeks, and some BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter on the high points of my cheeks and the tip of my nose.

Glossier Futuredew: Get Glass Skin Instantly
I received this product complimentary for review purposes. I was hesitant at first because I have oily-combination skin and was afraid of looking greasy or breaking out. However, this oil serum hybrid gives me the most beautiful glass skin! ✨PACKAGING: The packaging feels weighted and luxurious. I love that it comes in a pump bottle for easy application! The frosted bottle allows you to see the beautiful peachy sheen of the product inside. ✨PRODUCT: The product looks like a peachy color but once absorbed into the skin, leaves no color— only shine. I used one pump and it was plenty, so I feel like this bottle will last awhile. The serum absorbed once I patted it down and left my skin feeling very hydrated and moisturized. ☺️ ✨ APPLICATION: I wanted to try the futuredew on my bare face without any makeup base products. I applied this to all the parts of my face I would normally use highlight, including my cheekbones, under the eyebrows, and the tip of my nose. ✨RESULTS: This serum gave my skin a beautiful, lit-from within glow. It was as if I had done a complete skincare routine and finished a hydrating sheet mask. Hours after applying, I can still feel how moisturized my skin is and see a subtle shine. This is impressive because most serums don’t leave such a glow after they have been absorbed into the skin. Even though I have oily skin and large pores, this did not break me out or accentuate texture. ✨FINAL THOUGHTS: I later applied makeup on top of the futuredew and it was a great base! This kept my makeup from clingy to any flaky patches and made my powder products apply smoother. I prefer a blinding highlight so I wouldn’t use this as my highlighter but if you like a natural highlight, I could see the futuredew serving that purpose. 😌 I would recommend this for any skin type as either a skincare serum or makeup base. I would definitely purchase this with my own money once I finish this bottle because I can’t stop looking at how radiant my skin looks!

Full Glossier Look
I proclaim myself a Glossier ambassador because it’s the only brand I use for makeup looks other than my new Kat Von D lip liner and my trusty L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeliner. I made this a Reel on my Instagram if you want to check it out, but these are the products I used✨ (I have acne and none of these products have exacerbated it, thank goodness. I don’t use their foundation anymore because my skin doesn’t agree with anything foundation lol). Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss It’s not my favorite lipgloss because it’s too thick and sticky, but I like the shine it gives especially when I want a glow. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I bought this serum a couple months ago and I’m not mad at it. It gives a subtle glow unlike my Becca Cosmetics compact, but it does the job. I apply it with my hands and in a few minutes I’m all set...to sit at home and work from my bed lol. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I used the shade “Storm” and I like that it’s a deeper tone. It shows up on my skin tone and gives me a slight flushed look which is what a good blush should do, in my opinion. I’ve used it a little on my lips too just for a pop of color and right now this is my favorite product from Glossier Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream I’ll always give this moisturizer love. It gets rid of my dry flaky skin and because it’s thick it keeps my skin hydrated for quite some time.

Lash Slick Dupe Review
I will admit that I immediately fell in love with the effortless application of Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara and its amazing "my lashes but better" look. However, I have one major issue with this beautiful mascara.... it constantly flakes throughout the day. This is a huge let down considering it is on the pricier side. so instead of shedding some tears over my let down, I decided to put a supposed dupe to the test. The wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara costs significantly less and overall gives the EXACT same look as Lash Slick and the wand applicator looks pretty much identical. Better yet, I have no flaking! The only difference I can tell is the actual formula itself. I personally like the feel and application of Lash Slick better than the Mega Length Mascara. It glides on easier and feels smoother. But, I dislike flaking and that is a hard pass for me. The winner in my book is Mega Length!

a couple of holiday looks
I’m not a huge eye makeup kinda person, I usually lean more towards the natural side (mostly because I’m pretty bad at eye makeup and end up making my eyes look smaller). I tried out a few looks for Christmas Eve dinner and I finally chose the most natural look, the second picture. Although I would never really wear a dramatic, sparkly eye look out in public, it’s fun to play around with makeup while I’m stuck at home. I mostly used a palette that my friend got me in China, but here are the other products I used for my look: Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint Glossier. - Stretch Concealer BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter BOBBI BROWN - Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder #Burt’s Bees - Nourishing Eyeliner Pencil[products]#[FiveStars] COVERGIRL - LashBlast Volume Mascara

back to my old sunscreen
Ever since the Purito sunscreen scandal, there’s also been questions about the dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ and if it’s actually SPF 50 like the company claims, especially since the sunscreen is made in the same lab as the Purito sunscreen. I’ve used this sunscreen for months and I’ve loved it so much because it didn’t sting my face while I was going through my Tretinoin purge. It felt so moisturizing and lightweight on my skin, and I thought I had found my forever sunscreen, so you can imagine my disappointment when I found out the sunscreen wasn’t actually protecting my face like I thought it was. So while I wait for the results from the test to come out, I have gone back to my Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 . I actually had used this for a year or two before I went on Tretinoin, and it worked great for me, but since I started my Tretinoin journey, it stung my face so much and left it an oily mess, so I decided to go for the dear Klairs one. Now that I’ve survived the Tretinoin purge and my face is starting to really clear up and heal, my face can tolerate the Neutrogena sunscreen and I really love it! It comes out as a watery gel with a slight blue tint but it spreads into a transparent film with no white-cast. It hydrates your skin and leaves it with a nice glowy look. And I actually feel like I can use it as a primer as well. I’ve found that I am able to keep my Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint and Glossier. - Stretch Concealer on my face for the entire day without it melting off! If you’re looking for a good sunscreen while you wait for the results like me, this is it! It does have alcohol as one of the ingredients, but it is lower on the list and I haven’t felt any drying effects, so I’m less concerned about it. If you have any other sunscreen recommendations for oily/combo skin, please let me know!

Pink ladies 💅🏼
Loving the packaging on these guys! Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color love this stuff, but not quite as much as expected. I got the puff color, and while I love the color, it’s too pigmented for me. I end up having to rub it all over my cheeks just to make the color a bit lighter, then half my face is pink, instead of just the spots I want. It may be user error though, so I’ll keep trying. It truly lasts throughout the day, and I love the texture—super smooth on my cheeks. KYLIE COSMETICS - Kylighter this is meh for me. Again, possibly too pigmented. It really just takes a single swipe of the brush and you are good to go with pretty intense highlight. fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 I was so excited to buy this stuff because the reviews are amazing! However, since I was getting it more for the chapstick/SPF purposes, I wish it wasn’t quite so dark on my lips. It really looks like lipstick, but the color doesn’t last like a lipstick. tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush For the life of me, I cannot get this stuff to stick on my makeup brush. No color comes off, so I’ve pretty much given up on making it work. Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I use this when my skin is feeling extra dry, usually paired with my moisturizer! I haven’t noticed a huge difference when I use it, however. KYLIE COSMETICS - Vitamin C Serum this is the first Vitamin C serum I have used, so I don’t have much to compare it to, and therefore don’t want to give it a super high or super low rating! I really like the consistency—it feels more like a moisturizer, but sinks into the skin quickly. It smells slightly odd, but that didn’t bother me. Overall, I think it was somewhat brightening for me, but I didn’t feel like I saw a major change. Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder love this stuff a lot on my skin, but the packaging is frustrating. It has sort of a net material on the inside, making it kind of difficult to get powder out. I do feel like it sits nicely on my face and lasts throughout the day, just wish I didn’t have such a hard time getting it out!

My Glossier Haul
My Glossier Haul
So I have been seeing a lot about Glossier and decided to try it for myself. I got the makeup set that came with the products shown and got 10% off because it was my first order. Placed my order Friday and had everything in my hot little hands by Monday. First up, I immediately noticed how small the boy brow and cloud paint were. For the price, this didn’t seem like a lot there. I do like the boy brow and will continue to use it. Not sure if I will repurchase. We’ll see. The cloud paint is nice. I chose the shade puff, because I am fair. It’s a nice sheer shade and if I were younger, this would probably be my go to. But now that I am in my forties, I don’t think this is the product for me. I will probably give this one to one of my daughters. I love the Haloscope and will keep this one for myself. I got the shade Quartz and it is just right for me. It goes on easy, is easy to control and put just where you want it. Plus it is a very subtle highlighter. With heavier versions, I feel like I am pointing laser beams at my wrinkles! Finally, the Balm Dot Com. I got birthday cake and I am on the fence. The subtle shimmer and formulation are nice, but I feel like the scent may be too juvenile for me. I am willing to try other scents/versions, but I think this one may go in the pile for my daughters as well.

Excited about NY, going to pre
Excited about NY, going to prep my skin up tonight 🥰, not 100% sure what mask I will use. So I have had glossier for a couple of weeks now, so have had a good play with the products. First off the packaging is spot on! My opinions on the products. 🔸Cloud paint: Really like these! Really pigmented and apply really well and last a while, even on my slightly oily summer face. The one I have been reaching for is “dusk” which is a brownish nude, and is so perfect for everyday. I apply with my fingers then buff out with an eco tools stripping brush. 🔸Balm Dotcom: These are pretty good and I like them but I wouldn’t say they are must have, I have a variety of balms that work just as well. 🔸Boybrow: love this! I have been growing my brows out and using a brow serum to help with the growth as I over plucked in my 20s and also lost some hair when I was pregnant. This brow gel gives my brows volume and gives me actual boy brows, I could be competing with my husband right now! 🔸Lashslick: Nice mascara for everyday natural look. 🔸Haloscope: In colour quartz. Very Dewy highlighter. I like it but have to be careful when I use it, it can “move” my foundation if I am not careful and if my face is oily it can make it look oilier. So quite like the products, and for the price point they are good! They are perfect for a natural look, and that is their selling point. My favourite is the cloud paints, very pigmented and easy to blend and don’t settle into pores.

Is Glossier overhyped?
Is Glossier overhyped?
Glossier makeup is slowly becoming some of my favorite products to use in my routine. Everything blends out so naturally and seamlessly. Let’s talk about a few: Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick - These lipsticks are perfect for someone who wants a bit of color without over doing it. I would call these more of a blotted lipstick because they look like you blotted them down. They are so comfortable on the lips and come in some cute colors. So far I have to but very interested in getting more. Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss - This lip gloss is for those who love juicy looking lips. This gloss fills in all your lip lines making your pout look fuller. I personally have only tried the clear gloss because that’s the one I’d get the most use out of. The only complaint is it is a bit sticky but not something that would make me not use it, obviously. Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter - Best no makeup highlighter when you still want that glow. This product performs best for me personally when I don’t have any makeup on and just want some extra glow on my cheekbones to make me look more put together. On top of makeup it’s subtle but doesn’t give the wow factor I usually enjoy. Glossier. - Brow Flick - I’ve heard great things about this product so I was very interested in trying it. I don’t know if I got a bad one but sometimes it’s really hard to get the pigment out of the brush tip. When it does come out though it is a beautiful product for making your brows look well done. Glossier. - Boy Brow - Out of the two brow products I would choose this one over the brow flick just because I know it’s more reliable with pigmentation. This gives your brows a nice full and fluffy looking appearance without being sticky or crusty. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom - Are you paying essentially for Vaseline with scent added? Maybe. But I have this weird texture thing with lip balms on my lips and this is the only thing that doesn’t drive me crazy. The added scents are a bonus! Plus it comes in super cute packaging so I find it worth the price. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color - If I could give this product more stars I would. This started my love for all things cream. Blends seamlessly onto the skin giving you a natural flush or you can build it up if you want it to be more intense. You only need a pea sized amount to get the results so the tubes will last you a while. Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer - Loved this moisturizer so much I used the whole tube. I liked it more in the morning because it wasn’t as thick as I needed it at night. Played well under makeup and never burned or irritated my skin. Overall a good moisturizer if you’re in the market for one.

✨ cloud paints: these have been a favorite/must have of mine since the day I purchased them. They give me the prettiest flushed cheeks look and I am obsessed with them. My all time favorite shade is beam! ✨ balm dotcom: I didn’t really understand on a lip balm until I had these in my hands. My lips stay so hydrated and smooth the second I apply this balm. Coconut is my summer favorite at the moment but I do have 3 others that are loved just as much. ✨ lash slick: this mascara is no joke! If you’ve watched my get ready with me you know I absolutely love this mascara for daily use. It lengthens my lashes and makes them look like I’m about to fly away like a butterfly which I am all about!

Glowy, long-lasting and super versatile
Glowy, long-lasting and super versatile
I bought this Stila liquid eyeshadow in “starlight” on a total whim and although I typically go for a more natural look, I do love this product for summer when I want to look extra glowy and golden. I also love to use it in different ways and I find it to be very versatile and mix well with other products! How I use it: - Cream eyeshadow alone that I apply with my finger. It provides a fairly pigmented gold shadow or a shear wash of golden sparkle depending on how much you apply. - Mix with Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in “Beam” to create a beautiful golden-orange eyeshadow that makes blue eyes pop. - Mix with Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid to create a sheer, golden and dewy highlight that I use on the high points of my face. The good: + As I mentioned before, I love how versatile it is. + Beautiful shimmer that nicely reflects the light. + This shade in particular I find you can have a shimmery and sheer application or you can get a super pigmented look if you apply more. + Absolutely not patchy at all. And I find that it’s a very consistent product. + Stays all day and won’t flake or transfer. I would say it would take a lot for this to move once it’s dried down. + Super easy to apply either with the applicator or your finger and it dries down pretty quickly which helps avoid any smudging. + Non-irritating on my eyes. The not so good: - The price feels a little steep at $31. - I won’t pretend that there isn’t a little creasing, but I do find it to be quite minor. Worth it? Since you can use it in so many ways, I do think it’s worth the price point of $31. Once you find your perfect shade, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the final results and the different looks you can make with it. Plus this has lasted me almost a year now and hasn’t dried out (although I think I’m due to buy a new one soon because ... hygiene 🙃). Will I repurchase? I might try out a different colour / shade, but yes definitely a repurchase. Thought of the day: I have started mixing more and more of my products lately. Don’t know why but it’s typically using Glossier products. Anyone else constantly mixing products?
