Banana Bright face primer Review
The @olehenriksen banana bright face primer✨ This primer has a very subtle glow. I used it underneath my medium coverage @marcjacobsbeauty shameless foundation, the finish was beautiful. If you like that dewy wet glow, this is definitely for you. The foundation lasted relatively well during the day, didn’t move or wear off. If you have an oily T zone, I advise you to wear a pore filling primer where needed. The banana primer exaggerated the appearance of my pores and didn’t compliment my complexion when I wore it alone. It was more shiny than dewy. when I used it underneath my full coverage @fentybeauty foundation, it added a tiny bit of luminosity to my skin, but didn’t look nearly as good as under the shameless foundation. If you’re a full coverage person, i advice you to mix one pump of the banana primer with your foundation. Doing so makes a noticeable difference in your skin’s overall radiance. Pro tip: use your fingers and apply some of the primer on the high points of your face. It’s the only highlighter you’ll ever need for a subtle healthy looking glow. This product smells like the truth serum. If you’re sensitive to that scent, you might want to sample it before purchasing it. Otherwise, it blends well with the fragrances present in my other face products. OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Face Primer

Ingredient spotlight: Vitamin C
Now a days you can take your pick of products from most common serums, essences, moisturizer, toners and even in primers and other types of make up. It is just one of those powerful ingredients that are great for all skin types. If you want glows skin, there’s a super ingredient that you should add to your skincare regimen, Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin from free radicals and all environmental aggressors. Layered a serum or a moisturizer with this powerful ingredients under a sunblock, it will give you double the protection. Vitamin C also helps with lightening any dark spots you already have, by reducing “the activity of the enzyme that leads to the production of pigment, but it also addresses the existing discoloration,” —Dr Dennis Gross. Obviously, over the counter serums and tonics will not work as well as a prescription with hydroquinone or Retin-A at erasing scars and spots, but it will help even and brighten your skin overall. According to Dr. Gross during his interview with Self.com, when shopping for a Vitamin C to boost your skin routine, look for keywords like L-ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbyl phosphate (which are both water soluble), as well as ascorbyl palmitate and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (which are lipid soluble), on the ingredients list. Because skin is consist of both lipid and watery layers, the perfect product/ product that has the best absorption will have a balanced mix of fat-soluble and water-soluble ingredients. Disclaimer: please use vitamin c responsibly. With everything in life, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. So find your balance. Please note, I do not use the combination of these products in one day or everyday. LUMENE - Nordic-C Glow Boost Essence Serum 30ml $12-$25 depends on size and retail. OMG This PRIMER 🥰
I recently recently received a sample of YSL’s Touché Eclat Blur Primer and WOW! It is fantastic and I am instantly in love. The primer really blurred my pores and gave my skin a beautiful glow. I am a die-hard lover and buyer of benefit’s POREfessional and That Gal primers, because they also do a very good job of blurring pores and That Gal adds a nice bit of a glow. But, I have to be honest, they don’t compare. The only thing holding me back from buying a bottle immediately is the cost. It’s $54 on Sephora, while the benefit primers are about $30. (Honestly the $30 price tag gives me some heartburn). However, I think I will probably buy a bottle they next time I get paid and maybe use it more for special occasions, while keeping my benefit standards for day-to-day. Perfect skin base makeup! ✨ #Cheriepartner
I have found my ideal combination of products to create my perfect base of makeup! I’m a oily/combo skin, and I’ve had issues with finding the best combo to create the perfect canvas for my Makeup. First I start priming my face with the FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Primer It just fills my pores perfectly! It doesn’t leave my skin oily or overly dry. It’s such a nice formula! Then I use the COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation Even though it’s a little dewy I LOVE the sheer coverage! It makes my skin looks so healthy and natural. I touch up on top with the FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder And it sets everything right up and leaves my skin looking flawless! Make sure to set it with your favorite setting spray to keep it on your skin even longer! If you’re looking for a natural look base makeup this combo is amazing! 🤍

How to get flawless base makeup in summer!!
What you’ll need: a foundation brush, a primer that is light and easy to blend, a high-coverage foundation and an oil control setting powder My pursuit for the base makeup: as I have an oily-combo skin type, I would like my base makeup to be long lasting and not easily ruined by the oil and sweat that I will inevitable have on my face during the day. Besides, I would especially suffer from acne in the hot humid summer, so it would also be better if my acnes could get perfectly covered. What I’ve used and my thoughts: ·smashbox - Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Waterproof Foundation I love how this product provides full coverage and it could last a whole day, sometimes when I wear this foundation, as long as I moisturize well and set the foundation well, it still stays on place and give me an intact look after 9-10 hours. But the only problem with this foundation is that it tends to get dry quickly and it could be hard to blend. ·clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Correcting Cream Veil SPF 21 My go-to foundation when I pursue a natural and clean look. But these days it is not long-lasting enough and it could only provide light-to-medium coverage. So on important occasions, this alone is not enough. ·KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Finishing Powder This is my holy grail setting powder, only that the cushion that comes with it is not good enough. So I’ve changed it with something else I bought from CVS. You could also just use your brush or sponge to apply this powder on your face. It just blurs out every single shine resulting from oil on one touch. And I always carry it with me in summer to save my from being too shiny… Steps to follow: 1. Moisturize well before you apply any foundation products. This is always a must for any base makeup to look good and last long. 2. Blend the primer and the foundation in the ratio of 1:1 on hand. 3. Use the brush to dip the mixture and apply them on your face. You could also opt for a beauty blender if you are in want of a more natural look 4. Use the setting powder to set your foundation carefully and thoroughly. And voila, here is a base makeup that provides high coverage and lasts long.

MILK FLEX IS THAT B
basically a full face of milk makeup 😇 honest review below! Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick Was not a love at first use, but now this is my go to! It really came down to how I was applying this foundation stick. I use the cream foundation brush from the milk x Sephora set. I’m just gonna day, YA NEED IT. + easy application ( brush, fingers, sponge ) + medium buildable coverage; little goes a long way + natural finish + has a smoothing and blur effect on skin + great for contour/highlight + sleek, sturdy and portable packaging - tacky finish without being set; I have to set this with a powder or my hair will literally stick to my face. Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer Bought this on a whim! I had seen a lot of people use it and even used it often on clients when I worked at Sephora, but never tried it on myself at that time. Now that I have it and use it, I absolutely LOVE IT! + great coverage; natural and buildable + minimal to no creasing + nice applicator + beautiful for under eye or highlighting Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder I’ve been using this powder since it’s launch day! My absolute favorite! So much product. It lasts forever.. I mean almost lol + translucent shades; light - *medium*- deep + nice consistency and texture + no cake face! + keeps any glow you’ve applied prior. Not too matte. + blur and smoothing effect + great packaging with a snap lid + screw on lid + great for travel + good for baking and lightly setting the face - sponge it comes with is “meh” - if you apply too much you will be VERY matte Milk MAKEUP - Flex Highlighter I’m honestly not big on highlighters, but wow I love this one! I thought it would be too heavy and blinding, but it is very buildable. I’m wearing the shade BLITZED + sleek and sturdy packaging; perfect compact mirror + nice color range + buildable! Not too heavy unless you want it to be! + soft and subtle glow + creamy and soft texture + minimal pan fallout AND that’s my honest review for these milk products!
