💸$115 for 100ml of La Mer- worth it?

Luxury skincare has always fascinated me. I don’t mind the extravagance, as long as it’s worth the price! I was excited to get my hands on this mini version of the Treatment Lotion to see what it feels like. I’ll start by saying the bottle is a twist off cap, so you have to be *extremely* careful not to spill it or pour too much. Each drop is precious! The way you’re meant to use it is kind of like a toner, where you put some on your fingers and press it into the skin after cleansing. You can also apply it with a cotton pad, which is what I’ve been doing. I like that it doesn’t burn the skin and it’s hydrating enough to be used on its own without moisturizer on top. Must be the “miracle broth” they use! The top three ingredients are water, Algae (Seaweed) Extract and Glycerin. My main skin concerns are acne, hyperpigmentation and dryness. While I can’t say that it’s done much to fix those issues, it hasn’t hurt either! LA MER - The Treatment Lotion

Product Mentioned
All the toners and essences I have emptied
I want to name a few products worth trying: LANEIGE - Cream Skin Refiner so hydrating for winter. You may not need a moisturizer after if used in summer time. Will get a full size some time. fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner super comforting just hard to get the juice out at the end with all the flower petals. ORIGINS - Dr. Andrew Weil For Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion Limited Edition I didn’t think I would like it. Looks like a boring product but I then realize my skin was really stabilized during the period I used it. Will I get the full size? Maybe not. But for those of you with reactive skin, give a shot. fresh - Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence love love love the smell and the touch on the face. Will consider repurchase. LA MER - The Treatment Lotion a bit oily feeling but hydrating. With the price point I will not get the full bottle. SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) I suppose it’s good but after over a year journey with the biggest bottle I’m not going to get another one for now. But if you never had one, try it.

✨ Luxury Skincare - La Mer ✨
My skin type is typically normal oily, but has been leaning towards normal or normal dry due to using a topical acne cream from my dermatologist and it drying my skin out some. Due to this, acne and hydration are my main skin concerns. I got this ~faNcY~ LA MER - The Treatment Lotion in a Sephora Favorites set a couple months ago that was suited for dry skin! I kept putting off using it because it was so fancy and didn’t want to waste it lol. I decided to grab this specific Sephora Favorites set because it included a couple of mini size products that had been on my wishlist to try and my skin has been more dry so I knew I’d try everything. . Online at Sephora and by the name, I was expecting a thick lotion type product, but it more like a liquid, essence type product. It has a noticeable scent, I’m not sure how to describe it but kind of smells like baby wipes to me lol. It claims to be a fast absorbing treatment that delivers hydration to visibly soften, nurture, and improve the appearance of skin’s texture and support the rest of your La Mer regimen. Their site notes it’s key ingredients include Miracle Broth, Revitalizing Ferment and Softening Waters and that it’s formulated without parabens, phthalates and sulfates. . I used this as more of an essence/serum type product in my routine in between washing my face and moisturizer. It did make my skin somewhat more hydrated and calmed down my skin, but nothing more than any essence or hyaluronic acid serum does. The full size of this at 5 oz costs $165, while there’s a 3.5 oz size for $115. I don’t like how they market that it needs to be used with their other products to make a routine, each product should stand out alone and make you want to purchase it and not make you feel like you need to purchase a whole routine from one brand to actually see results. The price point is very off putting as well, especially when you need to use it consistently to see results. It was just an average product to me and didn’t like the strong fragrance, so I definitely will not be purchasing the full size in the future. This brand is just paying for the name, the Ordinary and Good Molecules make great budget friendly products and you can through in a few extra products if you want to splurge. . #cheriepartner

Summer=No Face Cream❌Brilliant Face Creams to Save Oily, Summer Skin🌞
Lots of girls stop using facial cream in summer when the weather gets hot but this is actually not good for our skin care. Facial creams seal in skin moisture and protect our skin from skin-damaging environmental factors. The best facial creams are moisturizing without being greasy. I have mature, combination-dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin which flares easily. Below are three facial creams that I love using in summer. Anti-aging: Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Advanced Regenerating and Repairing Care It has a thick yellow paste texture but spreads easily. It has a light rose scent and contains a high concentration of Pro-Xylane which improves skin firmness. I have dry skin, so I also use the richer version in spring and summer. When I apply a thick layer of it, using it as a sleeping mask, I'll wake up with delicate skin the next day.   Moisturizing: Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream It has a light pink, gel-like texture with a very rich rose scent. It contains black Baccara rose oil extract, geranium oil extract, and rose essential oil and I like how it feels on my face. It focuses on brightening and moisturizing, and doesn't cause my makeup to cake, so I normally use it during the daytime in spring and summer.   Restoration: LA MER - The Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream I don't really recommend the La Mer classic version for acne-prone skin as it causes breakouts easily when not emulsified properly. This is the 'soft' version which doesn't need to be emulsified and can be directly applied on the skin. It offers great restorative care and whenever my skin starts flushing due to an allergic reaction, the flare can be soothed after I apply a thick layer of this cream before bed. It's an S.O.S emergency cream which I always make sure I have at home. Its unique algae extract also smells very comforting.

Acne.Pimples.Dry Skin.Pigmentation. La Mer the moisturizing soft cream, everyone should know it! The normal size is 30ml, which can take about 3 months. I take photos of the small size, 7ml per one, two can also be used for more than one month. The cream of La Mer has three kinds of texture, cream, soft cream and gel. These three kinds of texture cream smell the same, and the ingredients are the same. Cream is the thickest and has a very high moisturizing ability. Soft cream is ice cream texture, moistening but not greasy. Gel is a relatively refreshing gel texture, which is easy to absorb. I always use soft cream, which is between cream and gel. For cream texture, it can only be used after warming up in your palms. If not emulsified completely, it is easy to get new acne. From the packaging, this cream is much simpler than other luxury cream. The white ceramic jar looks very expensive. The outer packing is a large square carton. When you open it, you can get a small spoon out of the base. Using small spoon to get cream can ensure the hygiene of the product. This cream was the most frequently used product two years ago, but I gave up for a long time because it was too expensive. But its effect is really good. The most effective is that it can make your skin stable and not easily cause problems. My skin is combination dry. With it, I can basically skip the moisturizing serum. If you are oily skin, use it in autumn and winter. Recently, my friend gave me two small cans, and I will start using them again! It contains the miracle broth, which has extraordinary repair ability, is gentle and non irritating. Sensitive skin also can use it. The emulsification process mentioned above is also to wake up this ingredient. Anyway, I highly recommend this cream. If you are lazy, choose soft cream and gel texture would be more available. PETER THOMAS ROTH - FIRMx Collagen Moisturizer This moisturizer includes some of my favorite ingredients like squalane, collagen amino acids & HA💦 I have combination acne prone skin. Texture is really lightweight & works on my combo skin. Not overly dewy but not too dry👏🏻 It contains dimethicone which makes this cream velvety, smooth & silky. I really like to use this cream as a primer before makeup & after SPF. It makes my skin looks glowy and beautiful✨ For texture, little goes the long way and it spreads very nicely on skin. It doesn’t have any sticky feelings which is another plus to use prior to applying makeup. Packaging is lightweight with plastic but has a beautiful design. #CherieCreator

This Beauty Elixir Is So Much More Than Just A Face Spritz
This Beauty Elixir Is So Much More Than Just A Face Spritz
My relationship with Caudalie began when I moved to France and lived there for a year. It is one of the beauty brands that one can find in French pharmacies. I love that it’s a clean beauty brand, and its products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and other chemicals that might interfere with our hormones, which can lead to various illnesses. It’s a company that truly cares for the environment and for our health by using only natural ingredients. Caudalie also gives a part of its revenue to plant trees.   Its cult product, the CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir, has been in my radar for quite some time now as it has always been featured in a number of makeup artists or beauty editors’ makeup bags. I was using it for a number of purposes - as a last step to seal in my makeup after I put on my face; as a facial spritz to keep me feeling fresh all day especially during summer, and to keep oiliness at bay; and as the second step in my skincare routine after the usual cleanse. I love that it has multiple uses, and that it’s so light on the face - perfect for my dry combination skin.   Deemed as ‘the secret of makeup artists’, Caudalie Beauty Elixir is an amazing product to set your makeup in place. It seals in the products on your face, and makes your eyeliner and lipstick stay longer.   It has 100% natural ingredients, contains essential oils, plus, it’s vegan and cruelty-free. Its potent yet gentle features can be attributed to the mist’s power ingredients - green grape, peppermint essential oil, rose essential oil, rosemary essential oil, musk rose oil, and myrrhe oil.   Green grape is packed with vitamin C and is therefore an effective antioxidant, while peppermint essential oil is a powerful natural antibacterial ingredient, therefore it’s good for keeping zits and acne at bay. Rose essential oil is known for its powerful anti-aging and hydrating properties. It also helps in clearing out the skin to get rid of zits and acne. Rosemary essential oil fights free radicals and hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage. It’s nature’s antiseptic, and is a superior disinfectant for treating scalp problems and graying hair. Musk rose oil improves skin elasticity and smoothing wrinkles. It’s a fairly popular ingredient for treating the early signs of skin aging. Myrrhe oil is a natural remedy to combat skin infections and conditions like ringworm and athlete’s foot. It’s a great ingredient for healing wounds and fighting infection-causing microbes.   Overall, it’s not just a face mist. With all these natural goodness inside, it makes for a great toner and skincare product to fight signs of premature aging. I loved my bottle to bits! I would purchase again and again!

I Didn’t Know I Can Revolumize My Facial Skin Until This Product
I Didn’t Know I Can Revolumize My Facial Skin Until This Product
Ingredient: Hyaluronic acid Product:CLINIQUE - Smart Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Age Transformer Revolumize   I have been such a fan of hyaluronic acid for quite some time now after discovering it on various products on Instagram. One of which is Dr. Barbra Sturm with her ultra expensive hyaluronic acid serum. Since I can’t afford that, I researched for products that have this hydrating ingredient, and I was happy to find that there are actually a lot of more affordable products in the market that contain a good amount of HA in them. One of which is Clinique Age Transformer Revolumize.   I’ve had this facial moisturizer for quite some time. Like I said in my past reviews, I’ve been a follower of Clinique since my college days, and I’m always excited to try out new products from their range.   I love combining this with my 2 essences that are targeted for tightening my pores, and for reducing the redness on my face.   This product is specifically perfect for dry combination skin like mine. I love the hydrating properties of this product, and that it’s super rich but it doesn’t leave my skin greasy. I don’t end up looking like an oily fry pan after applying this on. I enjoy its hydrating effect, I feel like my skin looks and feels plumper every time I use this. It’s one of my holy grail products now.

One of a kind CLOUD cream
One of a kind CLOUD cream
Product: Lightweight, synthetic-free moisturizing cream. Formulated for all skin types Key ingredients: Rose water- naturally high in anti-oxidants and excellent for reducing appearance of redness Aloe water- aloe is naturally rich is salicylic acid which helps clarify skin. White tea extract- rich in antioxidants which helps boost radiance in skin. Kukui oil- rich is linoleic acid which aids in smoother and more hydrated skin. My thoughts: I absolutely LOVE this cream! I stopped using creams over a year ago (replaced by oils) because all my moisturizers would clog my pores and cause breakouts. I heard about this cloud cream about 6 months ago and it has been a staple in my skincare routine ever since! I absolutely love how lightweight and natural this cream is and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. This cream has a water base formula, which is perfect for not clogging pores. It has a mild yet refreshing scent of rose and coconut and leaves your skin perfectly hydrated and glowing (perfect base for makeup). It’s formulated for all skin types (I have extremely sensitive and dry skin). It pairs perfectly with the HERBIVORE - Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil for Dry Skin to give you the most hydrated, healthy, glowing skin. If not this oil, I recommend using another ‘clean’ oil to top off this cloud cream. Side Note: The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I feel like for the price there isn’t enough product.
