I love Urban Decay! However...
I recently got this as part of a sample promotion that came with this mascara, face primer, and setting spray. URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Ultra Matte Makeup Setting Spray is my bomb.com setting spray and my go to, so I wanted to give this handy little set a try. I knew I would love the primer and spray, however the mascara would be new for me. I really wanted to like it, however I did not care for it. The wand is oddly shaped and I didn’t like how I had to maneuver to get it onto my lashes. Once I was able to get it onto my lashes, it smeared onto my lower lid quickly. I keep wanting to try new mascaras but I keep coming back to ol reliable COVERGIRL - Lashblast Fusion Mascara What do you think, high end vs drug store mascara? Any tips for Lash Freak? Let me know 🤗
Quick& simple makeup look 🔑
These are my go-to products for my casual makeup look: ~It cosmetics CC cream is hands down the best, I never need a primer with it on and it doesn’t feel too heavy on my skin. I’ve been using it for years and it doesn’t make up break out. Healthy, hydrated skin is 🔑 for your foundation to look soooo much better! Now I get compliments on my skin (even without makeup) but when I do wear the CC cream.... unreal!! ~Tarte “big ego” mascara; never clumps, and not too heavy! ~Urban decay setting spray; 10/10. My makeup does not come off at all, after drunken affairs and I forget to take it off (skin sin) my makeup still looks put together in the morning ~it cosmetics setting powder: 10/10, I only use it for my t zone but I like it so much better than the kvd powder I was using before! ~Pixi palette: this isn’t the exact palette but it’s very similar with blush and bronze/highlighter options! Can also be used as eyeshadows which is cool! I wear the blushes the most, add the perfect amount of color without being too strong

Let’s talk brows 👀🐻
Hi honeycombs!! 🍯 🐝 As I was hesitant of which subject I wanted to talk about, I figured I’d explore one that really made me struggle : eyebrows 👧🏻✨ Back in the days, I didn’t care as much. That changed when I attended high school. I had zero skills and my brows were CHUNCKY. I literally thought it looked good, I’m not kidding!😩 Over the years, I tried many different styles and shapes but never got the right one up until today. Honestly, I like to see this whole journey as a process of "trial and error" especially when you are CLUELESS about what you’re doing (aka me 🥺). I read so many things about how you can draw your brows accordingly to your face shape but like - I’m in between shapes so...🤷🏻♂️🤦♀️ (i’m a square-ish/heart/inverted triangle kind of face) Anywho, I’m just glad I learned and perfected my skills because these two were not easy to handle! How was your "brow" experience? Did you struggle as much as I did? Share your thoughts in the comments✨👀☺️ *2nd pic : back in 2k15 when I was in high school 🏫 List of products I tried to draw my brows : James Charles x Morphe Palette in the shade BENNY MORPHE - The James Charles Palette Any dark shade of brown in Marcelle and/or Clinique I also consider buying ANASTASIA Beverly Hills’s products like the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade in a neutral (yet dark) shade of brown! Then again, if you have any other brand(s)/product(s) you could recommend me, let me know!! 😌 Thank you! 😇 Have a nice day x 💗⛅️🐻 . . . #eyebrow #brow #eyebrows #brows #jamescharles #faceshape #bonestructure #puberty #jawline #natural #naturallook #Cherie
my fellow friends with thin/sparse eyebrows...
I am here to help! I also have no eyebrows and since I started wearing makeup, I’ve used nearly every product under the sun trying to achieve that full brow look I have always wanted so badly. I will break it down by skill level and what has worked (+ not worked) so hopefully you can find something that works for you and will give you beautiful, full-looking brows! if anyone wants me to make a tutorial/video showing how-to comment below! EASIEST TO USE - PENCILS ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer this product was great. the tapered end allows for thin hair-like strokes towards the front and a thicker, more-defined look at the arch. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz the formula itself was also great, but there is not a lot of product AT ALL and you will find yourself buying another one within the month, waste of $$$ in my opinion. benefit - Goof Proof Brow Pencil SUPER SIMILAR to Brow Definer but amazing!!! ADVANCED - POWDERS REVLON - Colorstay Brow Kit I used this product many years ago when I was just starting out. honestly don’t remember if the wax even did anything and the powder was not very pigmented. it pales in comparison to what I use now. brown eyeshadow | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ quickly after the Revlon brow kit, I wanted to dive into a look that was a little more impactful. I used any neutral or cool-toned brown eyeshadow I could get my hands on. this led to lots of trial and error (and at one point using black eyeshadow which you should NEVER DO even if you have black hair!). my most frequent shades have been Crucifix from KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Saint & Sinner Eyeshadow Palette and Volcano from MORPHE - 9B Bronzed Babe Eyeshadow Palette . these shades are quite dark on their own, but technique is everything and a natural look is achievable if you practice being light-handed. powder is the most common way I have filled my eyebrows in for the past 7 years and it’s never steered me wrong! MASCARAS/GELS ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel when you don’t have eyebrows, gels can’t be trusted to do all the work. however, they can help to seal in product so it’s less likely to budge all day. that’s exactly what this product does. NYX - Tinted Brow Mascara great affordable dupe and does the same thing. I do find it smudges with pressure though!!! NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART - POMADES ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade this product is pigmented like an eyeliner, and it will absolutely go on like one if you aren’t careful. this product was at the height of the Insta Brow trend, but we all know now that Nike checks for eyebrows aren’t for everyone. if you want a very intense eyebrow then give it a shot but I will never repurchase.
My secret to achieving a flawless base
Achieving a flawless and perfect base is the most important process in making-up. I have oily t-zone while the rest of my face is very dry and sensitive. Sometimes there is patchiness around my t-zone, crack and dry patches appear on the rest of the skin. Under this circumstance, I have a secret way to achieve a perfect base that can last all night long. Keeping good skin condition is the best way to create a perfect base. So, good skin preparation is the key to great makeup. Usually, I use the PETER THOMAS ROTH’s Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Moisturizer to get my skin prepped and primed. This is the most hydrated and moisturized moisturizer I have ever used. my face becomes so smooth and gentle. When applying foundation on my face, I can feel my face like silk and there is no crack at all. The foundation can better adhere to the face and can last longer. When applying foundation, I usually avoid putting a thick layer of the foundation. It is difficult to blend thick foundation and then there will have cracks on the skin. In order to smoothly blend the foundation, I wet the beauty blender. The damp surface brings more streak-free blending. Because of the dry skin, I also choose a hydrating foundation. I recommend Laura Mercier’s foundation. The brand is famous for its ability to create a ‘flawless face’. The lightweight long-lasting liquid foundation with a matter finish is oil-free. It is creamy and wears beautifully throughout the day. Sometimes I use Laura Mercier’s concealer to cover my imperfections. I apply a layer of a litter concealer over the skin as needed and blend. The last process is to fix all the work firmly on my face. I apply Translucent loose Setting Powder all over my face. It can control the oil around my t-zone and allow longer-lasting of my makeup.
My go-to makeup base
It’s 95 F in Texas and I have oily skin. Do you know what that means? If I am going to wear makeup, then I need to moisturize, then mattify or the oil on my skin will eat my makeup like a contestant in a hotdog eating competition. With deep complexion and oily skin, I focus on keeping my oil at bay, concealing hyperpigmentation and smoothing my pores. I try to work with small amounts of product and build upon it to avoid looking like a cake face. I find that my makeup looks better when I do that and lasts longer. Tools: • NYX - Pro Brush 03 Multi Purpose Bufferingis the brush I recommend. (I wasn’t able to use it in the video because mine has just been washed.) In the video, I used a flat-top kabuki brush in its stead. • e.l.f. - e.l.f. Contouring Brush: I love this brush for contouring. • Undereye brush. I recommend e.l.f. - Flawless Concealer Brush Here’s what I used (in order of appearance): • Primers: boscia - Porefecting White Charcoal Mattifying Treatment Primer(formulated for oily skin with larger pores) and REVLON - Photoready Prime Plus Brightening & Skin Tone Evening Primer* • Foundation:laura mercier - Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundationin Ganache* • Concealers: Neutrogena - New Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealerin Java Deep 2 and (not pictured) MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealerin Tan and Medium. • Contour: URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Correcting Concealerin 90NN* • Powders: SEPHORA COLLECTION - MicroSmooth Baked Foundation Face Powderin Deep, LAURA GELLER - Baked Balance-n-Brighten(not pictured) and Sleek - Face Contour Kitin Dark 886 • Setting spray: Supergoop! - Holly x Supergoop!Defense Refresh (Re)Setting Mist SPF 40is a spray that I usually use because sunscreen is important. The only thing that I don’t like is the minty smell. (not pictured) * products sent to me to review #CheriePartner
Went a little overboard on the recent makeup haul! First off the NATASHA DENONA - Glam Eyeshadow Palette is amazing!! The pigments are incredible and I’m so happy with my first Natasha Denona Palette. DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer is my favorite concealer OF ALL TIME! And I had to restock! JOSIE MARAN - Argan Daily Moisturizer Mineral SPF 47 Protect and Perfect is a little thick but it smells amazing! SOL BODY - Face &Bbody Bronzing Balm it’s a nice bronzer but I feel like there are others out that perform similar. Plus I like a powder bronzer better, however the sol body brush is AMAZING!! OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème I love this eye Creme! Dry Lux and brightening! HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 I loved this sample if the hourglass primer and will definitely pick it up when I empty some others!!

Neutrals with a Pop of Blue 💙
Happy Sunday everyone. The weather in California is disgusting right now so I can’t really do much with face makeup so I wanted to do a look that focuses on the eyes. This look is neutral with a pop of color. I used all my new products from my August BoxyCharm box and I love all of them so far! I used the Ciate London Editor - New England Palette to create this eye look. The palette is full of shimmers and colors such as coral, green, golds and blues. I actually had a hard time coming up with a look because I was just so overwhelmed with the choices. The mattes performed alright, but the shimmers were great! Especially the blue shades. The milk makeup gel liner exceeded my expectations. UD zero liner has been my HG liner for years, but I think this milk liner just replaced it... 🤫 All products I used on this look is posted on my IG if you’re curious 😊 my handle is @ francescadflower Thank you so much for checking this post out Francesca 💋
FENTY? MILK? MAC?! BoxyCharm First Impressions
BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription service that sends 4-5 full sized brand name products for $21 a month for a base box. It is $35 for a premium. (Source: makeupsubscriptionaddiction) Let me just say that BoxyCharm KILLED it this month! I signed up for this subscription back in June because I love trying out new products and this subscription actually sends you beauty products that you’ve actually heard of. For instance, I got Hourglass, Zoeva, Morphe and Ciate London on my box last month. This month, I got Milk makeup, SUNDAY EFFING RILEY, MAC cosmetics, Too Faced and Fenty. Each item that I got this month are listed down below: 💋 SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream I am the most excited for this item because we all know that Ms. Sunday Riley isn’t cheap. This retails for 65 USD. Also 2 of her items are my HG skin care product so I have no doubt that I will love this 💋ciaté - Editor Palette - New England Eyeshadow Palette This retails for $32. I am excited for this because I LOVE eyeshadow palettes. This has fun colors such as greens, golds, corals and blues while also having neutrals. Can’t wait to play with this! 💋FENTY BEAUTY - Portable Contour & Concealer Brush 150 I am a HUGE fan of Fenty’s match stix. I love using the shade mocha for contour and I feel that this brush is made specifically for that product so I’ll have flawless contour. This is also travel friendly so I can just throw both in my makeup bag and voila! They’re also magnetic so they stick together. This brush retails for $24 💋MAC - MAC Satin Lipstick I was SHOOK when I saw that BC threw a MAC lipstick in my box. MAC is my HG lipstick. Especially the shade Velvet Teddy. Neutral browns are also my favorites and I got the shade Spirit! This is a neutral toned light brown so it’s perfect for me! Ugh sooo in love. This retails for $20 💋Milk MAKEUP - Long Wear Gel Eyeliner This liner is pretty high pigmented when I swatched. I also love how it has a smudger on the other side. I haven’t tried a lot of milk products so I’m pretty excited for this. This retails for $22 💋DERMELECT - Xl Lash Volumizer This is a tri-peptide eyelash booster formula. It can also be used on the brows. This is supposed to be applied at bed time and I am excited to add this to my nighttime routine. This is $49 💋Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer Last but not least, the Too Faced born this way concealer. I have this and love it!! So the fact that I have another one doesn’t hurt at all. This concealer retails for $29. So overall this box is worth $240 and I only paid $35 for the premium box. Usually I only have one or two items that I am excited about but BC really killed this month’s box and knocked it out of the park. I am excited for all the products I got and that’s a first! I hope BC keeps it up! Are you subscribed to any beauty box subscription? Francesca 💋
Not too sure about this one...
I was sucked into buying a cult favourite, the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, but is it really all that? For one, I found this concealer a little difficult to work with. Although full coverage (my favourite a thing about it), my under eyes just don’t seem to like it ! I find that this product is a little too thick, too matte and makes my under eyes look very crepey and wrinkled. Although I don’t have the smoothest of under eyes, I feel like my Maybelline fit me concealer does a much better job at concealing this issue. If anyone else has wrinkled under eyes but can get this product to work well with their skin and had made their under eye are look smooth, please tell me your secrets ! This is review is still a work in progress, I really want to love this concealer but I’m not 100% convinced yet... tarte - Shape Tape Concealer

Peach Glam 🍑✨
I love peach tones for my skin, they just work for me, so when I get to wear bolder makeup (I can’t for work) I love pink and peach tones! This look is a little more soft glam than the last one I posted but I realize now it’s remarkably similar 😂 I have a look I guess. Also please excuse my frizzy hair, I haven’t washed it in four days 😬 Something that’s a lot different in my makeup routine is with a face mask, I’m literally only putting makeup only from my eyes up, and even then I’m only putting a touch of concealer on my forehead. So basically only eyes! I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer under and on my eyes, as well as a bit of spot treatment on my forehead and blend it all in with a beauty blender. I’m shade creme brûlée, which has got more blue/purple undertones so it won’t turn yellow throughout the day which I hated about the Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer and tarte - Shape Tape Concealer For eyeshadow, I used the Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette which has so many pretty colors and also the COLOURPOP - Yes, Please! Both palettes are full of warm glowy pinks, reds, oranges, and golds, definitely my jam. I laid down a base of too faced’s Peach Cream all over up to my brow, then used the Peach Suede color in my crease. Then I grabbed the colourpop palette in Bling for my corners, and jumped back to the too faced palette to put Glistening Peach on the center of my lids. It’s a really pretty pink with gold sparkles, a very dimensional color! Confession time: I hate eyeliner. I am terrible at applying it 😅 when I do wear it, It’s usually brown, I only put it on my top lash line, and I usually blend it with a sponge to hide the mess I made. So I just have the sephora collection brown eyeliner and I line my top lash line and my waterline and then just blend it out with the sponge on the end. But, I do have one hack! If you wing your brown eyeliner out and smudge it out, you can create the illusion of a shadow from your lashes! I just draw out a little wing and use the sponge on the end of my eyeliner. I double layer URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara over NARS - Climax Mascara I’ve been using climax for a while, I like how soft and natural it makes my eyelashes look! I only wear this normally, but I like to layer the perversion over it if I’m going for something a little more dramatic. I don’t put anything but ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel on my brows, brushing up and kinda roughing them up for a fluffy messy look. I’m just lucky to have naturally good dark brows, sorry 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t go crazy with my makeup, and I’m by no means an expert, but the secret is just knowing what works for you! If you made it here thanks for reading ☺️

Honey Tones With Urban Decay
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation is fantastic for my skin. It’s light to medium coverage matt finish foundation with a reflective pigment. My shade is 61NN, making it easy to look natural, moisturizing for all skin types and vegan. No nasties in this foundation, no parabens, and no palm oil - the foundation has a silk liquid feel, glides on smoothly, and stays in place throughout the day. Fifty shades to choose from, you can guarantee a match to your skin color. Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette I love this palette because of the shade range. It’s the best palette Urban Decay has ever created. The texture is good, heavily pigmented creamier, and easy to apply - such a long-lasting formula with no fallout. Just like it says, twelve golden honey shades, three different textures just like the spotlight palette, creamy, silky mattes, smooth shimmers, and sparkly metallic eye shadows. To create this look, I used Keeper all over the lid and under the lashes and then a mixture of Hive and Drip on the outer edge and in the socket of my eye, and I finished with Sting in the teardrop of my eye. For an interview or casual day look, I love the Naked Honey Palette. To go a bit more hardcore, I might add some pink shades from my other palette from Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

i used this palette for the first time today and unsurprisingly, i love it. it’s so versatile – whether you‘re going for an everyday look or more dramatic glam, this palette has it. lighting – indirect sunlight application – fluffy brush, small blending brush, chisel brush, and fingers skin tone & undertone – light with neutral undertones other products used (eye only) – pretty VULGAR - Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer / Kokie - Be Bright Liquid Concealer / tarte - SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara texture & pigmentation – okay so WOW. these are so creamy and buttery. they glide on effortlessly, whether on a brush or fingers. the pigment is incredible. the mattes are bold yet buildable. and the shimmers. oh, those shimmers. never before have i applied a SINGLE layer of a shimmer and been happy with the result, i always have to build and build and build. but these are something else. otherworldly. then there’s the signature pat mcgrath shift shades. the iridescent, elusive color that you can’t quite pin down because it’s neither, it’s both. staying power – oh, it stays & slays. price – 125.00 usd. i bought this as part of a duo with divine rose ii as well as during a sale, so i paid considerably less. however, i do think it’s worth the money. the pans are larger than in other eyeshadow palettes i’ve used and because a little goes a long way in this case, i know this will last long. today, i used – velouria astral solstice vr rose venus refined gold 002 skinshow nude

Tik tok #beautyhack - selfies
This trick I learned from beauty guru @irisbeilin. She recently posted it on her tik tok and it’s stepped up my makeup selfie game. Super simple, in order to emphasize and highlight certain features when taking a selfie, hold a reflective surface (like a hand mirror) horizontal & face up about chest level. Make sure the mirror is catching the light and that the light is reflecting into your face. Be used with natural light, a lamp or a ring light, I promise it really works.
