DIY Microblading? 🤔 🖋

Hey Cherie beauties! I finally got Benefit’s new brow microfilling pen! This has been sold out for the longest time and once I saw it finally available on Sephora, I added to my cart right away. I got my brows microbladed 2 years ago and it’s honestly so life changing! It was worth every penny I spent on it and worth the pain. My brows never looked this good. I was supposed to get an annual touch up this year, but shelter in place hit and my brow artist isn’t taking any appointments and I don’t know when I will get my touch up, but I don’t think it’s any time soon. When Benefit announced this, I was over the moon about it because I can see that my brows are fading a bit. This would be a good product to use until I can get a touch up. I got the shade in dark brown which is the darkest shade and I’m glad I got the it. This may be the dark shade, but I could use a deeper shade. If you’re on a fence which shade to get I would definitely go with the darker shade. This is a subtle change, but makes my brows look fuller. It still looks natural. The applicator is easy to use and you can easily control how subtle or dramatic your brows you want to look. I did a light resistance training sesh last night and this stayed. However, I used a brow gel so I’m not sure if that changes things. My only complaint is it takes some time getting used to so practice makes perfect. Overall I am very happy with this product! It’s such a game changer. You can now get temporary microbladed brows without committing to the actual tattoo. Benefit slayed it again! 😍😍😍 What is your HG brow product? Would you consider getting this? Let me know in the comments down below.

Everything You Need to Know Before Microblading
Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend. So I got my eyebrows microbladed on January 2019 and got it retouched on May 2019. It is recommended you retouch annually. I planned to make an appointment with my brow artist this year, but COVID-19 hit and I’m still unable to reschedule. Microblading is a tattooing technique that enhances and reshapes your brows. A small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to mimic natural hair strokes. This gives the most natural results, but you can also opt out for ombré powder brows if you want that makeup look. The cost is typically $400-800 dollars depending where you live. I live in SF Bay Area and went to an amazing artist in San Jose. She charged me $500 for the microblading service and this includes 1 free touch up. She also offers combination which is microblading + shading and ombré powder. Her IG is @ brows.by.betsey I highly recommend doing an immense amount of research before choosing your artist. Cost shouldn’t be your no.1 priority because this is a semi permanent procedure and brows make or break your face. I had a girlfriend who got a super cheap deal on Groupon and bless her heart, but her results were atrocious. My most asked question is the pain. Make sure you find an artist who used numbing cream/lidocaine. My sister found an artist who wasn’t licensed to use lidocaine so she had a very painful procedure. My procedure was almost painless. I just felt the pressure of the tool on my skin and this might sound gross but I can hear it cutting my skin. Other than that, it’s very bearable and tolerable. The touch up actually hurt a little more, but I think it’s because she is going over skin that’s already been traumatized...but it was also that time of the month so that could have been a factor. Either way ask for extra numbing cream on your touch up appointment. So far, microblading changed my life. I know it sounds so dramatic, but it definitely enhanced my whole face and I save so much time and money because I don’t wear as much brow products and I haven’t spent $ on waxing/threading ever since. Makeup free days are so much easier and I feel much prettier. My brows today are a little faded, but it still looks much better than my pre-microblading days. If you are in the Bay Area, I suggest you go to Betsey! However, she is so popular that I actually had to book 4 months in advance. The wait might be even longer due to the impact of Covid-19. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to comment/reach out. I will answer as best as I can. Would you ever get your brows microbladed? Why or why not? Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Soft Rose Gold Glam 🌹 💘
Hey there! I did a dramatic purple cut crease yesterday using JSC’s blood lust palette so I thought I would tone it down today and play with rose tones while keeping it soft. I used one of my favorite palettes of all time which is the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette. I swear I’ve done numerous looks using this palette. I have the OG 2017 version and it’s still bomb dot com 💣 even years later. I love playing with the eyeshadows because of the texture. It just feels nice, creamy and buttery and they blend like a dream! I’m holding on to this baby because even if I want to replace it and purchase a newer one, the formula isn’t the same. The ones that are currently out in the market are not vegan and contains coconut oil. It isn’t bad, but it just isn’t the same. Morphe totally reformulated it and I’ll be forever upset. This look is relatively easy to do and to get this look I used: 1) M.F.E.O using windshield wiper motions. I used my Sigma E35. Any fluffy crease brush will do. 2) Using the same brush, I added Butter on my crease. 3) I applied Mocha focusing on the outer corner of my eye. I used my Sigma E25 brush 4)Using the same brush, I dipped into butter again to blend out mocha 5)I applied mocha on my lower lash 6)I used Central Park to deepen the outer crease. I used my Sigma E30 brush. Any pencil brush will do 7)Using my fingers, I applied Little Lady all over my lids 8)Then I placed Sissy the mid lid 9)I placed Beam on my inner corner and brow highlight 10)I used brown eyeliner and created a subtle wing. I used Colourpop BFF liner - Grande 11)I applied 3 layers of mascara using my favorite mascara ever which is Essence Lash Princess Mascara 12)This step is optional, but I wanted an extra oomph on my lashes so I added falsies. I used House of Lashes in Au Naturale MORPHE - Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette The cover photo is taken by my Sony A6000 and the second photo is taken by my iPhone X. I wore this look to run errands today and that was fun. I can’t wait to see you try this look 😘 Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Pumpkin Spice Eyes 🎃 🍁🧡🍂
Hey there! I played with my new warrior palette today from Juvia’s Place 🧡 To be honest, I was going for a smokey brown eyes today and didn’t realize that this is the perfect fall palette. This has caramel, butterscotch and gold shades so I took the opportunity to make another fall eye look 😜 Anyway to get this pumpkin look, I used: 1) Kano as a transition 2) Benin on the crease 3) Mino to deepen the crease. Focus most of the color in the outer v of your eye. 4) Ahosi to buff out the edges and harsh lines 5) Idia all over the lid 6) Bakwa on top Idia 7) Moremi on the inner corner and brow highlight 8)Use Kano, Benin and Mino on the lower lash 9) Add liner and mascara. I used Stila’s all day liner and Essence lash princess mascara 10) Use a white or nude liner to tight line. I used Colourpop’s creme gel liner in Exit. I love the formula of these shadows. I’m upset at myself for not trying Juvia’s anytime sooner. I’m obsessed! I want more! What’s your favorite eye palette? Francesca 💋

Cherie Made Me Buy It! 🍒 💗
Hey beautiful! As you all know, eyeshadow palettes are my favorite makeup item and doing my eyes is what I’m always looking forward to. I have heard of Juvia’s Place before and the hype around their products. I wasn’t convinced until @emily_made a few posts about it. She is another Cherie creator here who also loves eyeshadows and creating amazing looks. You should check her out if you haven’t already Juvia’s Place claims to have the most pigmented eyeshadow in the world. The nomad palette and the warrior palette caught my eye the most so I purchased them. I also know that people have been hyping up their magic foundation and concealer so I picked those up as well. I was the most excited about the Nomad palette. It has autumn leaves colors and neutral browns. I thought it would be a perfect summer-fall palette because of the yellows, golds, moss greens and burnt orange. This eyeshadow is definitely pigmented, but buildable and not too punchy. Not gonna lie, I was afraid that this would be way too pigmented and hard to blend out, but that’s not the case at all. Overall I am impressed with this palette. The price is similar to Colourpop range, but I think the shadows are more pigmented. All eyeshadows performed well except for the dark brown shade in the last row. It was a little bit patchy, but it wasn’t hard to blend out. I wasn’t planning to do a cut crease look, but since this was so patchy on my lid that I had to and covered it up with middle shadow cool toned shade. I don’t like how it doesn’t have shade names, but it’s not a deal breaker. SWIPE RIGHT TO SEE THE EYESHADOW LOOK Juvia's PLACE - The Nomad Eyeshadow Palette The I am magic foundation is way too thick for my liking. It reminded me of MAC’s Studio Fluid and KVD’s lock it foundation. It is high coverage. I believe this is the most full coverage foundation in my collection at the moment. I wore it for the first time today so I cant give a full review, but so far it looks beautiful on the skin. I’m just not a fan of how thick it is...but I’m not really a full foundation type of girl. I got the shade Bogota 500 and I think it’s a bit too dark for me. You can see the my face is a bit darker than my neck and chest. I will make a post sometime this week regarding a full review and wear test. Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation The concealer also has a thick consistency. It reminds me of ELF 16 hour camo matte concealer and Tarte shape tape. While I’m not a huge fan of thick foundations, I love a full coverage concealer because I suffer from dark circles. I like this so far, but again I have to wear it and test it more in order to do a full honest review. Juvia's PLACE - I Am Magic Concealer Overall, this post is a first impressions post. I will come back sometime this week to do a more in depth review. So far I love all the products I received. What is a product that Cherie made you buy? Francesca 💋

ELECTRIC CAKE LINERS ⚡️
ELECTRIC CAKE LINERS ⚡️
These liners are SO GOOD, they’re water activated and glide on beautifully, I love how opaque they are with even the smallest amount of water. Usually water activated liners tend to be chalky and can flake sometimes but these, even without activating them with water, feel soft and almost like a putty in the pans. I love that each stack comes with 3 shades because I wouldn’t want to buy all 6 separately anyways. If you haven’t played with water activated liners; this is definitely a good start! They’re also black light activated which is super cool! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Quick out the door eye makeup ✨ #Cheriepartner

I work at an office everyday and I try to keep my makeup very basic and easy so I can be out the door quickly! These are the products I use daily and they’re super easy to use and gives me a nice simple look. Step one I select a very basic nude color for the lids and slowly blend out until you get the best gradient color! Second I apply the liner wing and I try to keep it not so thick! Thinner will make your eyes look a lot more natural and more of a “cat eye”. Third I brush my brow with the clear gel to stay out all day and have it looking natural. The better the hold the longer it’ll stay on throughout the day! And that’s all! I don’t try to use any base makeup because I wear a mask all day. So I keep my eyes and brows looking pretty fresh! benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel let me tell you about this brow setting gel, IT WILL LEAVE IT ON PLACE ALLLLL DAY!! This is the one brow gel I absolutely swear by! NYX - Epic Ink Liner I tried this liner this year and I will be repurchasing it forever! I love the tip! It’s not so stiff but not so flexible either.. making it the absolute perfect cat eye! MORPHE - 35O2 Second Nature Eyeshadow Palette these Shar does from morphe in my opinion are so amazing! They blend beautifully! Most times I add a eyeshadow primer to make the colors pop and last longer, with these shadows I don’t need to apply it, it has the most GORGEOUS pigment! I recommend them 100%! I’d recommend using a very nude base to start so you can get the best blended look.

I’m really boring when it comes to makeup. neutrals are easy and flattering so I tend to gravitate towards the same basic looks. this, however, is a fun and easy way to incorporate a little bit of color without straying too far from my comfort zone! ps. the pink can be substituted for whatever color you’re wanting to experiment with! 1. I start by using some bronzer in my crease. I’m not a fan of a naked eye lid, especially when I go in with a full coverage face, so this is a subtle way to add dimension. 2. using NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in milk, I apply a little on the inside corners of my eyes. I’ve found doing this helps the color really pop! 3. I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Heart-Shaped Eyeshadow Palette for my pink shade. this palette is perfect for a neutral obsessed person who wants to dip their toes into colors. very pink but with some nice neutrals for transition. 4. to finish the eye look, I used my SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler (HG status) Kaja - Wink Stamp Wing Eyeliner Stamp & Pen pen, and LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara I’ve repurchased this mascara a couple times, it’s perfect for maintaining a curl (even in the southern humidity!), adds volume, and lengthens beautifully. probably my favorite waterproof formula ever!! that’s it! super super easy. anyone can do it!

Small eye makeup look
Small eye makeup look
Hello guys, I have small eyes and big face. I tend to do my makeup differently to enhance my eyes and make my face look smaller. I highlight inner corner of my eyes and try to use lighter colour eyeshadow in my inner corner. Don’t drag down the eyeshadow try to make angular shape upwards. Use tape it helps to create that shape. If you like using eyeliner make a thin line. I don’t like to use fake lashes as it hides my eye look so if you want to use eyelashes select thinner one. Use white eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger.
