Another Fall Look 🍁🍂🧡 #CheriePartner

...Sorry, but I just really like Fall 😜 Also I wanted to use my brand new HipDot Zion palette that I just received from BoxyCharm. I wanted to do a soft fall look today with no lashes and everything, but this palette was so pigmented that it ended up being a dramatic look. I wasn’t expecting that. The shades look muted and toned down in the pan, but once you apply on your lids it’s so pigmented and punchy that it was hard to blend it out because even the lightest shade has impact. It’s good because it didn’t take some time to build up, but I would be careful with this palette especially if you want a soft and toned down look. I was pretty impressed with this palette. I’ve heard great things about HipDot, but I didn’t expect the shadows to perform this well. Also I’ve gotten numerous palettes from BoxyCharm that are lack luster. Consider yourself lucky if you’re subscribed to BoxyCharm and get this on your box this month. HIPDOT - Zion Eyeshadow Palette
I used: -Grounded (transition and lower lash) -Narrows (crease) -Canyon (buff out edges) -Vibration (outer corner and lower lash) -Angels Landing (lid) -Virgin (inner corner and brow highlight) -Colourpop Jelly Much Shadow in Sagauro (on top of Angels Landing) I used MAC lipstick in the shade persistence on my lips. If you’re not subscribed to BoxyCharm and want this palette, it is available on HipDot’s website for 30 USD. Not bad for a 15 eyeshadow pan. What is your favorite season? Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner

Quick Glam with Garden Variety Palette 💐🌺🌷🌼
Hey Cherie Beauties, I created a look using the Colourpop’s new(ish) Garden Variety palette and one of the jelly much eyeshadows. This palette is so beautiful and worth the money for sure. I was able to create this neutral eyeshadow look despite the palette being colorful. I believe the Jelly much shadows in “Sage bundle” is def the star of the show! This is a pinky ivory shade with a teal flip. In the first photo, I was able to capture the teal shift of the shadow which is amazing! In the second photo, the shadow showed up as an ivory tone so the shadow can change colors depending on the lighting and angle. On this look, I used: -Herbivore (transition) -Stay sharp (crease and lower lash) -Root em up (outer v and lower lash) -Third eye (lid and lower lash) -Jelly much shadow in sage bundle (lid on top of third eye) -Wavelength (inner corner and brow highlight) -BFF liner in grande -Creme gel liner in Sunnyvale -Essence princess mascara I can’t wait to pick up this palette again and use the berry tones! Sooo pretty! Francesca 💋

Wild Nothing 🌵 + Garden Variety🌸 🌷// SWATCHES
Happy Sunday! I did a huge haul last weekend when the Colourpop X Sailor Moon restocked. I was only able to pick up the eye palette and one pressed blush on that collection, but I finally picked up some of the Wild Nothing and Gardrn Variety restock along with it. I am so upset that they are having the 25% off site wide this weekend. If I would have known, I would have picked it up this weekend instead. 😢 On the Wild Nothing collection, I was only able to get the creme shadows. Only the shade bronco and laurel appealed to me. Bronco was sold out so I picked up laurel. I wanted to pick up the jelly much shadows on that collection, but it was also sold out. I am glad I was able to pick up the lip oils though. I am a little upset because skinny dip and playa vista look identical when I swatched it and when applied on the lips. So I suggest only pick one or the other. You don’t need both. I wasn’t drawn to the eye palette so I decided to skip it. The Garden Variety palette caught my eye more. The color story was beautiful and it swatched really well. It is so pigmented. I feel like more pigmented than the other palettes I have tried in the past. The shimmers are to die for! I can’t wait to play with this palette. The jelly much shadows are also soooo beautiful. They are the reason why I picked up some items in this collection and I definitely believe they are the star of the show. I expected the texture to be similar to ELF’s jelly highlighters, but these were much more drier than those. They feel creamier rather than liquidy. They look a bit challenging to work with, but I won’t really know until I try them. Overall, I am excited for my new items and I can’t wait to create looks with them. What’s your fav Colourpop collection? Francesca 💋

My Favorite Falsies! 👑 ✨ 💖
I am OBSESSED with falsies! This is going to sound extra, but I honestly feel like a different woman when I put them on. They complete a makeup look and can make it go from 0-100. They are an essential part of opening your eyes and enhancing the best features of your eyes. You can go for natural ones, dramatic, attention grabbing and whatever mood you’re feeling! In fact, I love them so much that I actually used to invest in lash extensions. I have been using falsies since I was in high school so I have experienced good falsies and bad ones too. I have almond shaped eyes and I understand that it could be overwhelming to find the right falsies for your eye shape...this is one of the reasons why I LOVE House of Lashes. They have an eye shape guide and recommend which lash styles are best for you. My top three favorite lashes from this brand are: Au Naturale, Bouidoir Lite and Demure Lite. 1) Au Naturale I go for these often. They are wearable for any occasion. This gives a “your lash but better guide”. I also use this when I create a dramatic look, but don’t want to over power it with lashes. 2) Boudoir Lite This has a dense center. They are dramatic, but soft enough. I go for these when I go out 3) Demure Lite These are also soft and more on the natural side with an oomph. This helps open my eyes and emphasize any eye look. House of lashes are a bit on the mid range price. However, ELF and Ardell are also my fav falsies that are on the affordable side. My favorite “your lashes, but better” falsies is the Ardell Wispies. These look sooo natural! I use it as an alternative to my Au Naturale. Another falsies that I always grab for especially if I want the attention stealing is the ELF Social Butterfly. These are faux mink lashes and did I mention they are $3?! Ardell and ELF are very affordable, but HOL falsies are much easier to apply so if you’re a beginner, I would suggest you invest in HOL. It’s worth it! Lashes can be reused 15+ times depending on how you care for them. Here are my quick step by step for falsies: 1) Measure the lashes to your eyes and cut to your desired length. Most falsies are large so always measure it to your eye first. 2) For easier application, grab one of those lash glues with wand. Apply extra glue on the corners of the lashes because these tend to come off easily 3) Wait 30 seconds for the glue to become tacky then grab your tweezers to apply falsies closest to your lash line. 4) Hold it until it is fully glued to your natural lashes 5) This step is optional, but apply mascara to diffuse your falsies to your natural lashes. This will give you a natural result 6) Apply eyeliner or use a dark eyeshadow to hide the lash band. 7) Voila! Then enjoy! It took me a while to get this down. I’ve been applying eyelashes for more than 10 years and even to this day, I’m still not the best at it. Just keep practicing! What is your favorite falsies? Xoxo, Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner

🗣DON'T BE AFRAID OF FALSIES (PT. 2)
Psst... check out part one if you haven't already! I go over choosing the perfect lash style, application, & application tools. In this final part, I'll be discussing proper lash care & removal! Let's talk about removing your lashes.... I cannot express this enough: BE CAREFUL. Your eyes are a very sensitive, fragile area so when removing well... glue... from your eye you need to take precautions! Here are some helpful tips and tricks to help you out. DON'T PULL! It sounds scary but I promise it's not if you practice safe removal, you can essentially wax your lash line if you aren't too careful. So be gentle with your eye area. Also, you could tear the lash band & lose a good pair of lashes. USE OILS! Oil based cleansers & micellar water can help to dissolve the leftover glue to prevent any bald spots in your lashes. Lashes should pop clean off once the glue is broken down. Now we can move on to lash care.... In part one I said you can hold onto a good pair of lashes for weeks at a time if you're doing it right. These are my tips for keeping lashes in tip top shape. REMOVE EXCESS GLUE! For this step, you can use tweezers to grab onto remaining glue fragments. Use a gentle touch to ensure you are grabbing the glue & not the band itself. CLEAN LASH HAIRS! Micellar water + spoolie work perfectly to cleanse the lash hairs without losing curl or the hairs themselves. This step will remove excess mascara & debris caught in your lashes throughout the day. GENTLE DRYING! Lay your lashes onto a paper towel and gently pat the lashes dry, allow them to air dry & your done! CLEAN STORAGE! We have all seen what the inside of our makeup bags look like, you wouldn't want to put that on your eye right? So, why do that your lashes? Reuse lash boxes to store lashes away until next use. They'll thank you by remaining full and intact. Cheers to any false lash beginners & to the experts, I hope you learned something! Thanks for reading ❤️ #cheriecreator

September ‘20 BoxyLuxe 💗
For those who don’t know, BoxyCharm is a subscription service that sends you 5 full-sized items for $25 a month for a base box. Premium is $35/ month and BoxyLuxe occurs 3 months every year for $50. You get 8-9 full size products that are up to $520 value. I wasn’t too happy with my Luxe box this month, but I pictured the ones that I was happy with. I got the Farmacy Cheer Up eye cream which is already $49 so it pays for itself. Some months are really great however. If you love testing new products, this is the best way to go. I am excited to try HipDot’s Zion palette. I have heard great things about HipDot so now is the time to try. I really like the color story and the shadows swatched great. HIPDOT - Zion Eyeshadow Palette I also got Fenty’s Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter in 7daywknd and poolside. 7daywknd is a metallic orchid and poolside is a metallic violet. I don’t think I will put the metallic violet on my cheeks, but this will be a great lid color. I tried the metallic orchid on my cheeks and it is beautiful. It is subtle enough to wear as a highlighter. FENTY BEAUTY - Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter I suffer from dark circles and I am happy I got this! This def comes in handy. SKIN GYM - Skin Camp Hydra-Gel Rosy Hearts Eye Mask This is a great brush to bring on the go. I’ve been meaning to try Persona Cosmetics. I am really intrigued by their Identity palette. persona - PowerBrush *NOT PICTURED* I got 5 pieces of 111 Skin’s rose gold brightening mask. I haven’t tried anything from this brand before, but masks are always great so I am excited to use this. 111SKIN - Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask *NOT PICTURED* I got Keratherapy’s deep conditioning masque in my box as well. I actually ran out of my hair mask from it’s a 10 so this def comes in handy KERATHERAPY - Keratin Infused Moisture Shampoo *NOT PICTURED* I got Cuccio’s Yogahhh hand + body wash. It is infused with lavender essential oils and epsom salt. I wasn’t too excited about this, but it is useful to have around the house. cuccio - Yogahhh! Detox Bath The ones not pictured are products I’m not excited about, but they are definitely useful and a great opportunity to try these products. Overall, I am not too happy about my box this month, but there are more items I am excited about than not. I wanted the Pur brush set, the Marc Jacobs products and the Huda products, but it’s ok. I am still getting my money’s worth. I’m hoping for a better box next month! Are you using any subscription boxes? Francesca 💋

What I do to make my round face slimmer
Did you know that with the right methods and tricks, you can actually change your face shape to a very large extent? I have always had a complex about my round face and tend to use my hair to cover up my face. Nowadays, I have found the power of makeup and I’m excited to share the tips on how to make your round face slimmer! Face shape: Like I said before, I have a very round face. I have very large cheekbones and chubby cheeks, so my face looks like a lollipop. But with the help of highlighter and blush, I was able to fake a slim face! Method: highlight + blush position I have realised that if you apply highlighter correctly, it does an amazing job at shaping and slimming the face, even without shading. I tend to apply it on my nose bridge and nose tips, cupids bow and chin because it makes my face look so much more dimensional and actually adds depth to my face. So my face does not look flat and round anymore. I would apply only a light layer of highlighter on my cheekbones because I don’t want to enlarge them since they are big enough as it is and are what make my face look huge and round. Similarly with blush, if you choose a calm and deeper shade of blush and apply it on your cheekbones almost like shading, then it has a slimming effect. Sometimes shading might look too harsh or unnatural, but using a blush to shape your face is a much more natural and subtle way of shaping your face. Products: Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Duo + Benefit Dandelion Highlighter: This is by far my favourite highlighter! It does not provide a subtle glow but a very strong one which I absolutely adore. The colour payoff is amazing. It includes a golden tone and a bluish cold tone that is perfect for any skin tone. I am able to create many looks with this highlighter. Blush: Blush is my favourite part of the makeup and Dandelion is a keeper for me. It is in a very cute baby pink shade with gold shimmer that brightens up the complexion nicely. It gives me a lovely girl next door look. I also love the packaging, not only is it super cute but also it includes a small mirror and brush inside, which is very convenient to carry around. It comes in two sizes, for anyone that is budget conscious, I’d recommend the smaller size which is $25 that still lasts a long time even if I apply it almost everyday.

a lil afternoon glam✨
just a lil lewk i did n wanted to share!!! on the lips i used a mix of MACs MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in Subculture & Spice to line my lips, & MACMAC - MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy. I love how soft it looks for my skin tone & it definitely is a combo I will reach for in the future. for the eyes, i used theMAC - MAC Eyeshadow X 9 in amber times nine. I like how tiny & compact this palette is, particularly for travelling!! the perfect travel size & has enough shades for you to create a day, night or even daytime to nighttime look. absolutely perfect for someone who’s new to makeup or doesn’t wear it often!! I won’t do a full review of all the products i used but these were just a few of the ones i wanted to talk about!!! thank you so much for the love, i can’t believe you guys are loving what i’m posting so far🖤🖤✨✨

Accurate 1940s Makeup Colours
This is a scale of colours that I’ve curated through research of the 1940s. The shades are exact colour matches of real 1940s colours. Lipstick: Dangerous by MAC / 915 Outlast by Covergirl Blush: Creme by Juvia’s Place (The Douce Palette)/ Precious Peach by L’Oréal (my favourite drugstore blush!!) Eyeshadows: Sumptuous Olive by MAC / Tropicana Taupe (grey) by Besame “I love Lucy” palette / Berry Mousse (nude shade) by Juvia’s Place (the douce palette) 1940s are characterized by cherry red, bold scarlets and orange red lips, the mouth was over drawn and full - the red lipstick was one of the few things the british government didn’t ration during the war to keep morale high! Eyeshadows were very minimal in neutral browns, greys and olive tones. Just adding a slight contour to the eye. Blush was worn again VERY sparingly in coral and rose tones.

Ultra Violet Vibezz ⚡️
Ultra Violet Vibezz ⚡️
I saw Urban Decay’s new naked ultra violet palette and felt inspired. I didn’t think that the 49 USD was worth it so I picked up Colourpop’s “Lilac you a lot” palette. I love Colourpop! Can’t you tell? Ha These shades are so pigmented. There wasn’t much fall out which was surprising because the “Making mauves” palette had so much. I used: -Imagine that (transition shade) -Iffy (all over the lid) -Cloud (mid life) -Wake me (inner lid) -Filtered (outer lid) -Trainwreck (inner corner) -Ghostin’ and filtered on the lower lash line I took off a star because this stains like crazy. I took it off with a make up remover and exfoliated, but my eyelids are still stained. COLOURPOP - Lilac You A Lot I have the the lip liner and lippie stix in the shade “Parker” and Dose of Colors gloss in the shade “Made you blush” on top COLOURPOP - Lippie Stix What is the “craziest” eyeshadow look you’ve done? This is def mine!

Bronze Gold Glam with Affordable Makeup!
Bronze Gold Glam with Affordable Makeup!
I did a little haul when BH Cosmetics had a 65% off site wide sale a few weeks back. I have tried BH Cosmetics before back in the day when they were known for their large 88 shimmer/matte palettes. The quality was really good for the price, but they have leveled up since then. This palette is from their Glam Reflection collection. This one is the Gilded palette. This one has bronze, gold, copper and earthy tones. I have been in to these shades lately and was able to cop this palette for $5.99 during their sale! This palette is currently on sale right now for $13.50 but originally retails for $18. BH cosmetics is always having sale so if you want to get this palette for cheaper I would wait. The brown shades are so soft and subtle. The color pay off is beautiful. The lightest brown shade was actually more pigmented in the eye than in the pan so I would use this palette lightly. The shimmers are more subtle, but buildable. I really wanted a super glam look today so I used ELF’s liquid glitter as an eyeshadow topper in the shade “flirty birdy ” to intensify the look. I was surprised because I honestly didn’t expect the quality to be so good. I truly believe that BH Cosmetics is a hidden gem. They don’t get as much hype as they deserve. Have you tried BH Cosmetics? What do you think about this brand? Francesca 💋

Neutrals with a Pop of Blue 💙
Neutrals with a Pop of Blue 💙
Happy Sunday everyone. The weather in California is disgusting right now so I can’t really do much with face makeup so I wanted to do a look that focuses on the eyes. This look is neutral with a pop of color. I used all my new products from my August BoxyCharm box and I love all of them so far! I used the Ciate London Editor - New England Palette to create this eye look. The palette is full of shimmers and colors such as coral, green, golds and blues. I actually had a hard time coming up with a look because I was just so overwhelmed with the choices. The mattes performed alright, but the shimmers were great! Especially the blue shades. The milk makeup gel liner exceeded my expectations. UD zero liner has been my HG liner for years, but I think this milk liner just replaced it... 🤫 All products I used on this look is posted on my IG if you’re curious 😊 my handle is @ francescadflower Thank you so much for checking this post out Francesca 💋

In a Nude Mood for National Lipstick Day
In a Nude Mood for National Lipstick Day
So apparently today is national lipstick day. My goal was to wear my “party” liquid lipstick shade which is Kylie Cosmetics matte liquid lipstick in “Koko K”. This is described as a pale pink shade. I am not that in to bold lip shades since I am in to bold eyeshadow looks. Yes, I consider this shade a bold shade. However, when I was doing my eyeshadow, I decided that Koko K didn’t go well with this look so I decided to wear my everyday go-to shade which is Kylie’s matte liquid lipstick in the shade “Dolce K”. I used Colourpop’s nude mood palette. This is a warm toned neutral palette so it made sense to pair it with dolce K, which is a deep beige nude. This is my go-to everyday palette along with the CP “Going Coconuts” palette. It just depends if I want a cool or warm toned look that day. Going coconuts is a cool toned neutral palette. I used: -Bare to wear (transition) -Au natural (crease and lower lash) -The cocoa (deeper outer crease and lower lash) -Moody (outer v) -Lux of Lap (inner kid) -Wink wink (on top of lux of lap) -Bluffin (inner corner and brow bone) This palette is the definition of soft glam in my opinion. As always, I love CP palettes and this one is up to par with the formula. COLOURPOP - Nude Mood Eyeshadow Palette Kylie’s lip kits are controversial, but I’m actually a fan of her lip kits. I think her formula is a hit or miss however. I have a candy K lip kit and that one is very drying on my lips. However, Dolce K and Koko K are amazing. I use concealer before applying and use this with a lip brush to make the shade a little “lighter” KYLIE COSMETICS - KYLIE COSMETICS Matte Lip Kit Anyway, Happy National Lipstick Day to you all! I’ll try to get out of my comfort zone and post bold lip looks in the future. What lip shade are you wearing today? Francesca 💋
