California sure does know how to party

I just got Colourpop’s “California Love” palette in the mail! I was on the fence of getting this palette because I already own UD Naked Heat and initially thought they look too similar, but I was wrong. California Love is a bit more warm and orange based while UD naked heat leans more on the burgundy side. The shade “El capitan” is what got me to buy the palette though. It is so gorgeous! I thought it was going to be my favorite, but I actually LOVE the shade “Diego”. This is probably the warmest palette I own and I love it so much. It is perfect for the summer. The formula on this palette feels high quality and holy pigment! These are more pigmented than my ABH Soft Glam palette. This may be my favorite palette from Colourpop so far. Also I’m sorry about the eyeliner. I tried to make a big sharp wing but I ended up failing 😅 Francesca

Orange You Glad It’s Almost Fall? 🍊 🍁
🍑 SWIPE FOR PHOTOS 🍑 Hi beautiful! I created this fall inspired look today even though it is blazing hot in California right now. This heat wave got the temperature up to 90s in San Francisco! I am definitely over it. I am ready for sweater weather, scarves, pumping candles and high knee boots 😍 I used my Naked Heat palette to create this look. This palette reminds me of autumn leaves that’s why I picked it up. I believe this is the perfect transition from summer to fall palette. It is so warm toned that it can be used in the summer, but can also used in the fall because of its red tones. Another palette that I love that has similar tones and is more affordable is Colourpop’s California Love palette. You can still create a similar look if you don’t own this baby. COLOURPOP - California Love Warm Golden Bronze Eyeshadow Palette I used: -Sauced (transition) -Low blow (to deepen the transition) -Cayenne (crease and lower lash) -En fuego (deepen up crease) -Ashes (outer v and lower lash) -Scorched (mid lid) -Lumbre (inner lid) -Ounce (inner corner and brow highlight) -Stila liquid liner -Essence Lash Princess mascara -House of lashes in the style “demure lite” I am excited to create cool toned looks, Halloween looks and red tones this season! Timeless makeup w/ July Boxycharm
I received my boxy charm boxes yesterday and I am pretty impressed! I received both June and July boxes at the same time. BC had issues delivering my June box so I got both boxes at the same time. This is my first time trying this out and so far I am pretty impressed. I used the fill up orange palette on the eyes. However, I am not a huge fan of this palette. There wasn’t enough color pay off and the palette didn’t have enough shades to deepen the look so I mixed this palette with Colourpop’s California love palette to create this look. touch in SOL - Fill Up Orange & Pink Parade Eyeshadow Palette I received Hourglass scattered light glitter shadow in the shade “blade” and this is the star of the show of my eye look. I used it on the inner lids. I believe this is what made the look. HOURGLASS - Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow I used doucce’s graphic liner and it surprisingly impressed. I may like this more than the Stila liquid liner. The bristles are a little more firm so I had complete control of my wing liner. However, this liner isn’t as dark as stila’s. doucce - Fierce and Fine Graphic Liner I like this bronzer. The last 2 dark shades really bronze me up for the summer. My regular bronzer is currently too light for me so it’s nice to know this bronzer palette can be used all year round. ACE BEAUTE - Bronzed In Paradise My favorite in my June box is the artist couture coco bling diamond powder. Holy moly! This is definitely the brightest highlighter I own. #Pinky Rose COSMETICS - Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder: Supernova[products]#[FiveStars] Honestly I am impressed with boxy charm. Besides make up, I received some skin care items as well. For 25 USD a month, I feel it pays for itself. Considering the hourglass scattered light glitter eyeshadow is 29 USD by itself. I am a happy customer for sure. Have you tried Boxy charm? What are your thoughts? Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Another ABH Mini Palette!
Another ABH Mini Palette!
I just received the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nirvana Mini Pro Pigment Vol. 1 palette after buying it on sale from Sephora. I put this cutesy look together using three of the shades. I had previously gotten the Vol. 2 palette and was blown away by how much I LOVED it! This palette is very similar in quality, the shades are bright and pigmented, they blend easily and they have staying power (without using an eyeshadow primer). I’m only giving this four out of five stars because it doesn’t have the same variety of shades as the Vol. 2 palette. Still a lot of fun to use!

On Mondays We Wear Pink
On Mondays We Wear Pink
Happy Monday! Start the week out strong and bold with your favorite bright color and some shimmer over top. This week's focus palette is by Huda BeautyHUDA BEAUTY - Neon Obsessions Palette I started with a nice tacky base, applied the fuschia to the lid, added the light lilac color the crease for a soft contrast, and put on some lovely pink shimmer all over the lid for maximum glow. It's such an easy look

Trying the ‘Fox Eye’ eyeshadow look
Trying the ‘Fox Eye’ eyeshadow look
In case you missed it (which HONESTLY is highly doubtful at this point as I see this look recreated on TikTok atleast ten times a day) Fox Eye has taken the beauty world by storm. And by storm I mean, everyone from teenage girls on TikTok to beauty gurus on YouTube are trying their hand at the sultry eyeshadow trend. Essentially, the look is meant to elongate your eye shape and give your face a more ‘lifted’ appearance. So yea, here is my attempt at the ‘Fox Eye’ eyeshadow trend. Not seen here is my failed attempt at shaving my brows (which guys turned out so SO BAD, would not recommend at all). Thankfully though it’s starting to grow back, but yea learn from my experience pLEASE!MORPHE - Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette

Lavender shades = wearable?
Lavender shades = wearable?
I don’t think that I own any mauve shadows in my collection. Huda beauty has a lot of pinky/mauve nudes in her palette, but I was turned off with her pricing...plus I’m not even sure if this shade would suit my skin tone so I thought I would try Colourpop’s “making mauves” palette. I fell in love with the shimmer shades on the middle row when I swatched. However, it didn’t really show up as well on my eyelid. I think I may have to put concealer under or glitter glue to hold it. I LOVE the matte shades as well. Even the transition shade is so pigmented. I do have complaints about how powdery it is. It reminded me of ABH palettes, but it wasn’t as buttery. For 12 USD, it’s not a big deal because it applied beautifully. Did I mention that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging? It’s sooo aesthetically pleasing. I would say this palette is very wearable. I was a it intimidated because I am a neutral/nude type of girl. The palette has lighter shades and you can create looks that are more subtle than the look above COLOURPOP - Making Mauves Mauve Eyeshadow Palette

She’s Soft Glam
She’s Soft Glam
I used Colourpop’s “She’s soft glam” set to create this look. It is pretty much a set of 2 Colourpop eyeshadows. One is “nude mood” and one is “blush crush”. Both eyeshadows can be purchased separately for 14 USD each and the set is 24 USD. You save $4 dollars if you purchase both. Check out my page if you’re interested in seeingthe tutorial on this look. I also have more details on that post regarding which eyeshadows I used. Thank you so much for looking 😜😊 Francesca 💋

Another look on this versatile palette. I used orange soda as a transition shade, layered burnt orange on top of that, rustic on outer lid, layered with mulberry and Cyprus umber. Bronze on the mid lid and glistening on the inner lid. Glistening on the brow bone and inner corner. This is my first time trying the half crease cut method so it’s a bit messy. I’m still practicing 🤪 Thanks for looking!
