The Orgy Palette // First Impressions + Swatches
Yes, we are here again. Another controversial palette from J*. This palette was under because the shade names were so obscene, but it is Jeffree Star so I am not shocked. NARS used some obscene shade names too on their blushes so it’s nothing new. Jeffree Star Cosmetics is known for selling colorful eyeshadows. I didn’t try any of his eyeshadow palettes until The Cremated Palette 🖤 which is a grey palette. When this palette was revealed, I was pretty excited because his eyeshadow formula is nothing like others in the market...and I love neutrals so I had to give it a shot! The Orgy palette is a 30 all matte shades and it retails for 62 USD. The mini orgy palette costs 28 USD. I got the bundle for 78 USD which is a steal. Without the bundle, both would be 90 USD. I got my palettes on Beautylish. They literally shipped hours after I placed my order and it arrived within 3 days! Amazing! The orgy palette had a great range of nudes. It had mauve shades, peach shades, warm browns and cool beige tones. I am not a huge fan of the top row. It is way too light and ashy on my skin tone, but this would look great on someone with fair skin. I think this palette is perfect if you practice freelance or if you’re a pro MUA because it is suitable for all skin tones. JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Orgy Eyeshadow Palette Some swatched a little patchy. Like the 3rd and 4th row, but it doesn’t bother me because how it looks on the arm isn’t the same when applied on the lids . So I have to try this on my eyes to give it a full review. Overall, the eyeshadows were creamy and pigmented. I can’t wait to try this. I’ll probably post a look using this palette sometime this week so watch out for that! Are you thinking about picking up this palette?

My Usual Go-To Makeup Look
*ignore the fact that my eyebrows are a little out of control at the moment, I’m working on growing them out and fixing the patchyness so I can go get them waxed* First I start by mixing The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Neutrogena - SkinClearing Oil-Free Liquid Foundation , I’m not exactly sure all what it does but it makes my face look smoother. Then I apply it to my face using REAL TECHNIQUES - REAL TECHNIQUES Foundation Blender . I then go on to my eyeshadow. I use the color called top from JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Orgy Eyeshadow Palette . I take the MORPHE - Morphe X Jeffree Star JS6 Rule Blender Brush and apply that eyeshadow to my eyelid. Then I use the shimmer bronzer from #Ulta Beauty - Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter Palette[products]#[FiveStars] to put some shimmer on the corner of my eye because I didn’t have the right glitter eyeshadow for this. After that I use ULTA BEAUTY - Waterproof Amped Lashes Mascara for my eyelashes. I take the BLOSSOM - Tropicali Flavored Roll-on Lip Gloss and put that on my lips, then I blot that with some tissue and apply some Red Dahlia BURT’S BEES - Tinted Lip Balm . I do it this way so that my lips are well moisturized when I put the tinted lip balm on and it doesn’t look dry. Then after all that I take my MORPHE - MORPHE X Jeffree Star JS7 Double Trouble Brush to brush out my eyebrows. And that’s all. It’s simple and doesn’t have too many steps. I’m not at all good at makeup. I’m just a beginner but I feel that this looks good on me. In my opinion this is a pretty good natural/minimal look. I’m always open to feedback because I am still learning.
Another Look w/ JSC ORGY PALETTE 👅 ⭐️
⚠️ SOME OF THE SHADE NAMES I USED ARE RATED-R. Skip this post if you’re highly sensitive ⚠️ Ughhh I hate to say this because I really dislike J* as a person, but I LOVE this palette. I was kind of mehhh about it when I swatched it and tried it the first time, but after trying it the second time I can say that I am IN LOVE. I used the top row and I thought it would look too ashy on me or not show up on my skin, but it’s actually the perfect brow highlight. Even the lightest shades showed up and were so pigmented. What I love about this palette is I don’t really have to use much eyeshadows to build up because it’s so pigmented. I also didn’t have to spend much time blending because it pretty much blended themselves. I am a huge Colourpop fan, but that is the major difference I noticed between Colourpop eyeshadows and JSC eyeshadows. JSC is much easier to blend and doesn’t require building up the product. I love this product so much that I am considering getting the Jawbreaker palette... 🤔 💭 JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Jawbreaker Palette I hate that J* is such a controversial person, but I am 100% here for the products. On this look, I used: -Knee pads (transition and lower lash) -Money shot (crease and lower lash) -Glory hole (outer V) -Bath house (lids) -Voyuerism (brow highlight) -Glass wet (inner corner) Happy Sunday you guys and hope you enjoy your weekend Francesca 💋
Tacky Nudes?! 🤎🙀
⚠️ SOME SHADE NAMES I USED ARE OFFENSIVE. ⚠️ Skip this post if you are highly sensitive. Hey Cherie Beauties, I created this neutral nude halo eye look using Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Orgy Palette. I used the big one and the mini palette. This palette is up to par with the rest of Jeffree Star’s palettes. Each eyeshadow pans are huge. It will take me forever to even hit pan on these. The mattes performed beautifully. If you read my previous post, I mentioned that the 3rd and 4th row swatched patchy, but all shades are smooth and not patchy at all. This is a great palette. The quality is amazing, however I don’t think an average makeup user needs this much mattes. This palette is great if you’re a pro MUA or if you practice freelance because these shades can be used on all skin tones. I don’t think i will ever touch the top row at all because it is too ashy and light for my skin. However, I can use those shades on my mom who is fair skinned. To reiterate, skip this palette if you don’t practice freelance or if you’re not a pro MUA because not all the shades may work for you. Also you most likely have these shades already in your makeup collection. These shades can also be easily duped and you can find shades like these for a fraction of the price. I am sure you can create a similar look with Colourpop’s Bare Necessities palette. That retails for 34 USD. COLOURPOP - Bare Necessities Shadow Palette Anyway, to create this look I used the eyeshadows below: -Bed or floor (transition) -Bottom (crease) -Booby trap (outer and inner lid) -Orgy (outer crease and lower lash) - Vanilla latex (inner corner and brow bone) -Champagne drip in the mini palette (mid lid and lower lash) -Glass wet in the mini palette (inner corner) -House of lashes in style “temptress wispy” Thank you for clicking and checking out this post. The Cremated Palette, Is it Wearable?
This palette came under fire when it was released. It’s death themed and it came out in the middle of the pandemic. However, I was interested because these are my favorite colors to wear when going out at night...as if I’m ever gonna go out again. I don’t think that’s even possible in the near future with COVID lol. I was going to purchase this palette, but hesitated because I owned Colourpop’s smoke show palette and the color story is so similar that didn’t think I needed it. Also the whole drama with J* was leaked so I really didn’t want to purchase. However, Morphe is having a MEGA sale on all JSC and this palette was almost $20 off so I got it... COLOURPOP - Blowin' Smoke shadow palette First of all, J* is very problematic but there is no doubt that his cosmetic line is top tier. The formula and the texture of these shadows are way more high quality than color pop. These are soft, buttery and so easy to blend. They don’t have a lot of fallouts either surprisingly. All the swatches shown in my photos only took one swipe. It took me half the time to complete the look vs. using the Colourpop smoke show palette because these shadows pretty much blended themselves. However, I would NOT pay full price for this. This is 58 USD and I got it on sale for 41 USD. This palette is also such a niche product that if you are an everyday neutral person, I don’t think you can make a use of this. Like I said earlier, you can easily make looks similar to this with the Colourpop smoke show off palette and ELF’s bite size shadow in truffles. ELF’s truffles will be more warm toned though. The cremated palette is pure cool-toned. e.l.f. - Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette I used: -Obituary (transition) -Eulogy, solemnly swear (crease) -RIP (crease and lower lash) -Mausoleum (lid) -Last look (lid topper) -Hearse (liner and lower lash line) -Diamond ashes (inner corner and brow bone) I am wearing JSC lip liner in Celebrity skin and Dose of Colors gloss in Almond Butter What do you guys think of Jeffree Star and the controversy around him? Would you purchase any of his products? Even if they are on sale? Thank you for checking this out! Francesca 💋

This eyeshadow palette is really nice! I’m not a huge fan of the packaging but the shades are nice and pink/peachy in tone. The texture is very smooth and easy to blend and for the price it’s definitely worth it! I love the shimmery shades but the chunky glitters are horrible. Very flakey and not safe in the eye area!! Overall a great palette COLOURPOP - Sweet Talk Warm Coral

Here are the swatches of the JS Blue Blood palette dupes that I found! If you're interested in picking up any of these shades. In that post I've linked all of the products, explained the similarities and differences of each pairing and listed additional alternatives for every shade. When you look at all of the pairs side by side at once, it's really difficult to detect the differences. The dupes that I found are very close but most aren't exact. Also this post is NOT to suggest that you should buy 18 single shadows instead of one palette. It would cost more and be a huge pain in the ass. But dupes like this can serve a number of useful purposes. A lot of people really like a few shades in a palette but can't justify spending $52+ for the 2 or 3 eyeshadows that they're interested in. Also when I was younger and still in school any time that I got a nice palette, I'd research dupes specifically so that I DIDN'T buy them. When you're on a budget and carefully planning your makeup purchases, it's incredibly frustrating to buy colors that are already in your collection.
