Cherie Made Me But It! 🍒 ✨🍉
Hi Cherie Fam 🍒 I came across @Mallory‘s post regarding the avocado sleeping eye mask 🥑 and the niacinamide watermelon drops 🍉. I was intrigued so I did some research and ended up ordering the make your own kit. It comes with 4 sample size items and a bag for $29. I thought I would try to sample the product first and see how it works on my skin before committing to a full size products. I got the •GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser I heard this cleanser is great for removing make up. I read the ingredient list and I am sold. I can never say no to a gentle cleanser • GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer I am looking for a new day time moisturizer and this seems perfect. This smells so good. It has a thin consistency and feels cool on the skin •GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask I HAD to get this. Dark circles and hollow under eyes are a problem. It’s generic and I love how this contains retinol Glow recipe also included lots of sample items. I didn’t pick up the niacinamide drops because I still have lots from Paula’s choice. However, I am excited to try it and glad I got a sample I will post a review in a month or so and let you all know how it worked out. Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Feelin’ Blue ❄️
...during this winter Hey Cherie Fam 🍒 I played with one of my favorite palettes of all time which is the MORPHE - Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow PaletteI have literally made so many looks with this palette and after all this time I still reach for it often. I wanted to do an icy winter blue look so I played with the jada and pool side. The jada shade, which is the teal shade is soooo pigmented! It wasn’t chalky at all and applied evenly. For this look, I used: •creamsicle and butter with a fluffy brush as a transition shade •hunts on the crease just below the transition shade •I cut my crease with P.Louise eyeshadow base in shade rumour 2 •I applied jada all over the lid then topped it with poolside •I used creamsicle and butter on the lower lash then applied hunts on the outer lower lash. I applied jada close to the lash line •I used NYX retractable liner in white to brighten up the eyes •enlight on the inner corner and brow bone •mascara then falsies. I used HOL in Temptress Wispy Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to do a full blown eyeshadow look 💙 Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Blondes Have More Fun But...
...Brunettes remember it the next day? I am glad to be back to my roots (literally). I have been highlighting my hair and doing balayage for years. However, during this uncertain times I wanted to keep my hair more low maintenance. Salons keep closing and re-opening and there’s no way I could keep up with my balayage. With lowlights, I don’t have to go back to the salon every 12 weeks and my roots will blend better once my hair grows. I haven’t been brunette for a long time and I’m enjoying it. ...also I feel smarter. 🤣🤦♀️ So for my hair, I got partial highlights to break up my roots then low lights to darken the whole head. My hair was toned with Redken Shades Color Gloss in 6 GB and Redken chromatically in 6NA REDKEN - Chromatics Prismatic Hair Color *DISCLAIMER* I’m not a hair professional so please take this post with a grain of salt Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Natural + Dewy Beat Using New Products 💖🤩🥰
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 Happy new year all! I decided to do a natural and dewy makeup for my first look of 2021...and by natural I mean no lashes and no crazy and dramatic eyeshadow. For some this may be dramatic so it depends how you define “natural”. ...and by new products I mean new to me. Sorry that the tittle is a little click-baity 😳🥺 I got new products that I’ve been trying and loving lately. For DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS, I used: • MAYBELLINE - Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid I am wearing the shade petal and omfg I am never spending $$$ on fenty again because this is the exact same dupe. Formula feels the same and smells the same •wet n wild - MegaGlo Blushlighter I love this product, however I don’t think this is a “blush”. I thought the pink side was a blush but it’s as sheer and as shimmery as the highlighter. On the plus side, this is helping me GLOW and look dewy af. I got the shade “I Met Someone” •e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer I talked about this primer so many times and it’s so worth the $8! I don’t even use my high end primers anymore •e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil I ran out of my HG brow pencil (Benefit Precisely my Brow) and tried this. It’s so creamy and the quality is so good. Did I mention it’s $2 • essence - Volume Booster Lash Primer I bought this after@madisonnoonsposted about it. I used L’Oréal primer but this is much cheaper and better •NYX - NYX Retractable Eyeliner I used to love Colourpop liners but they break easily on me. This has a much creamier and sturdy formula. I use the nude and white shade HIGH-END PRODUCTS •ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen I got the shade in dark brown and I prefer this much more than benefit’s microfilling pen. It’s much more precise and easier to use •ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Pro Pencil You don’t need this. You can use concealer to clean up your brows but this makes it much easier and faster. I caught ABH’s 2 for 30 deal otherwise I wouldn’t repurchase •NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette My current favorite 🤩 I have been using this and it’s perfect for an everyday look. The formula is amazing! I would invest if they had a bigger palette By the way shout out to @cheriefor my merch 🥰 the sweater is so comfy and I love the hat! I truly am proud to be a #CherieCreator Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Instant Mani with Gel Strips - 1st Impression
Hey Cherie Fam 🍒 I usually prefer getting my nails done and love acrylic nails because they last long and they actually help my hand and arm eczema when scratching. Since the second state wide lock down, I let my nails get gross and have not gotten a refill since November 🤢 I was waiting for the nail salons to open again, but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen any time soon so I went to target today and picked up a nail gel strip from Dashing Diva. It is a nail sticker that claims that it last up to 14 days. I didn’t have to paint my nails or let them dry. I just prepped my nails with a prep pad and pressed the sticker down. I filed down the excess and bam! The instructions are confusing and had to actually watch a demo on YouTube to get it down. I think these are gorgeous and great for temporary use. However, the sticker is a little bumpy and can easily be peeled off. I think they are gorgeous and good enough to help me through this lockdown. However, I prefer acrylic nails and can’t wait to get back to the salon. Pros: quick, affordable and pretty Cons: confusing to use, bumpy, peels easily How are you handling your nails? Francesca 💋

Beauty Bay 🌙 X NikkieTutorials
Happy new year 🎆🎈🎊 I finally tried NikkieTutorials’s collab with Beauty Bay. I actually wanted to go for a neutral and softer look today so I used the browns and beautiful duo chrome shimmers in this palette. I love the formula! Mattes were so pigmented and easy to blend. The shimmers are beautiful and packs a punch. I put the shade “all in” on my lower lash and was going for a little halo but it was so pigmented. This palette is not bad for $30 USD. The palette comes with 20 shades, 2 mirrors (one is is magnified) and a beautiful sturdy packaging. The pans are also huge. BEAUTY BAY - Nikkietutorials x Beauty Bay Pressed Pigment Palette For this eye look I used: • Mila on the crease. I wanted this to be blown up so I extended pretty close to my brow bone • 5 am on the outer crease, creating a V shape • Basic Trut to soften the edges of mila and 5 am • I applied NYX glitter primer to prep my lids for shimmer. This will give more impact NYX - Glitter Primer • I applied underground on the mid lid and Mr. Tutorials on the inner corner • Ivy on the inner corner • Mila on the lower lash then layer with 5 am on the outer lower lash • All- in in the mid lower lash for a halo look • Winged liner and mascara. I used Stila Stay all day and Lilly triple X mascara • Optional but I added falsies. I used HoL in Au Naturale HOUSE of LASHES - HOUSE of LASHES Au Naturale Happy new year! I am stoked to see all your posits for 2021 Xoxo, Francesca 💋
Affordable, Innovative & Clean K-Beauty 💛
I’ve been trying to expand my skincare collection, & more specifically, trying to include more K-Beauty products so I was excited when Innisfree gifted me their 𝒩𝑜𝓊𝓇𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒢𝒾𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇 𝐻𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓎 𝒯𝓇𝒾𝑜 🍯 Innisfree is a Korean brand that offers innovative products using natural ingredients, while preserving and protecting nature’s vitality, all at an affordable price point! 💛 𝒩𝑜𝓊𝓇𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒞𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂 - This is perfect for this time of the year as it has a thicker consistency, but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin or clog pores. The heat of my hands & skin helped melt the cream into my skin, but still left my skin feeling moisturized all day long. Key ingredients, Ginger & Jeju Canola Honey, help protect the skin from external stressors, while providing nourishment for dryness. ✨ $28 USD 𝒩𝑜𝓊𝓇𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒜𝓂𝓅𝑜𝓊𝓁𝑒 𝒯𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓇 - This was a really unique product to me as it is a hybrid product; your skin gets the benefits of a serum & toner all in one! If you wanted to use it as a toner, just apply 1x to get instant moisture after your cleansing routine. If you wanted to use it as a toner & serum, apply 2x for extra moisture & hydration. How to apply? I recommend either a Shiseido cotton square, or for a more eco-friendly approach, just simply dash a bit of product into your hands & press into your skin. ✨ $23 𝒩𝑜𝓊𝓇𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒮𝓁𝑒𝑒𝓅 𝑀𝒶𝓈𝓀 - Super tired & don’t have the energy to do a whole 10 step routine? No worries - cleanse, tone & slap on this sleeping mask, & you’ll wake up with nourished, hydrated skin that appears plump, more firm and glowing! ✨ $23 innisfree - Ginger Honey Nourishing Cream innisfree - Ginger Honey Nourishing Ampoule Toner innisfree - Ginger Honey Sleeping Mask

what ACIDS should you be using?
acids can be super important and helpful in a skincare routine if you are looking for help with certain problem areas, or just if you are wanting them for prevention. there are so many types of acids out there and it definitely can get confusing at times, so i’m here to break it down for you !! the first step would be to identity what skin type you have. is it oily, combination, normal, dry, sensitive? once this is identified, it makes it a little easier to see what acids will work best for you!! secondly, do you have any concerns or problems areas you want to fix? a lot of acids have multiple benefits in one (which is really cool !), but knowing what you want to address with your skin is a must to choosing acids! now let’s get onto acids !! ( there are a lot more acids than just in this pic/post, but I’ll just be talking about a few of these for the time being). glycolic acid AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) water soluble and works on the skins surface it is an exfoliator so helps to even skin tone and remove dead skin cells reduces fine lines and dark spots (hyperpigmentation and scarring) for all skin types The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I really like this product! although I do prefer BHA’s, this is till a great gentle toner that doesn’t irritate the skin and does the job! salicylic acid one of my favourites for my oily/combo skin !! BHA (beta hydroxy acid) and works on the skins surface as well as beneath it exfoliates, just like an AHA, but treats pores and breakouts builds elastin and collagen for combo, oily and acne prone skin CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser my new favourite cleanser that I just did a post on ! so check that out if you want to know about about this product. hyaluronic acid amazing for dry skin !! is a great hydrator and plumps the skin it draws moisture from the air/environment The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 GLOW RECIPE - Pink Juice Moisturizer Sachet Sample i’ve only tried the sachet of this as a sample but I love it ! it’s super hydrating and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky. l-ascorbic acid is a pure form of vitamin c has anti-inflammatory qualities prevents UV damage stimulates collagen and brightens skin tone! for all skin types this is the most stable form of vitamin c !! ferulic acid it is an antioxidant that helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles fights free radicals protects collagen suitable for all skin types ! citric acid AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) balances the pH of the skin and helps with skin renewal with this, it helps with hyperpigmentation and dark spots for all skin types ! lactic acid AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) exfoliates and speeds up cell regeneration does a great job with acne scarring helps dullness and uneven texture for all skin types !

Skincare 101: Double-Cleansing
Bar soaps and scrubs have been phased out of popularity, replaced with cleansers that use gentler sulfates than potentially-problematic SLS/SLES and double-cleansing has seen a rise. Grime, layers of sunscreen, heavy makeup... I recommend double-cleansing if you apply more than one layer of sunscreen or wear makeup, it’s helped so much with my own congestion/blackheads! Wash twice with a water-based cleanser if you prefer to be utilitarian, or try a micellar water if you don’t like oil textures. • 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲: For me, traditional double-cleansing is the way to go. Oil-based cleansers easily break down stubborn makeup like waterproof mascara and I’m careful to avoid sensitizing essential oils. My top pick for quality to quantity to cost? THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm . $10 for 150mL of a sensitive skin-friendly balm is hard to beat! Another good budget option is The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser , $7.90 for 50mL or $19.90 for 150mL. Its thick texture takes a bit more work to emulsify and rinse away, but gets the job done. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is a great balm that I love for its easy emulsification and quick rinse, though it’s a bit more pricy- $34 for 110g. Harder to swallow the cost when you rinse it after just a minute of it on your skin, but it emulsifies so well and rinses clean easily. HOLI FROG - Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Wash is also kinda pricy, $42 for 74mL. It is hard to emulsify, but leaves my skin as soft as if I had moisturized after rinsing, making it luscious but hard to justify. • 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲: For my 2nd Cleanse, I reach for a water-based cleanser with a pH of 4-7 and hydrating humectants. I avoid essential oils and fragrance. My absolute favourite 2nd Cleanse is rPAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser ($19 per 190mL, pH 6.2-7), a silky cream-to-foam that removes any 1st Cleanse residue without stripping skin. Another gentle and effective cleanser is the HOLI FROG - Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Wash ($36 per 150mL, pH 5.5). Both are great for any skin type, esp. drier skin! Oily/combo skin types will enjoy the deep-cleansing, strongly lathering gels of rCeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin ($11 per 355mL, pH 5.5) and #Drunk Elephant - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser[products]#[FourStars] ($32 per 150mL, pH 5.5). I wouldn’t use them more than once per day since they can leave skin feeling tight if overused. How To Use A Balm Cleanser: 1. Dispense balm onto dry, clean palms. 2. Massage balm onto dry, uncleansed skin, for as long as you like. I wouldn’t go over a minute since you’ll be massaging your skin more in a sec... 3. Wet hands. 4. Emulsify the product on your face using a small amount of water, massaging until it is almost like a lather. 5. Rinse face. 6. Repeat steps 4 + 5 until your face feels clean and soft, with no visible milkiness/lather.

FLAT HAIR? I got you✨☺️
Hi guys!! My hair is normally pretty straight and doesn’t have a lot of volume! I found this routine on tik tok and it’s a life savor😍 -this absorbs all the oil at the roots! Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic (spray at roots) -this is great for adding volume/texture! AIIR - Texture Spray (spray throughout your hair as needed) I also wash my hair 2-3x a week! I feel as if this works a bit better if you hair is not freshly washed! I do this literally every single day! You can do this once in the morning or if you need the extra volume you can spray as needed throughout the day ☺️☺️

MAGICAL Cellulite Cream Collection! 👆 With Powerhouse Ingredients!
Here comes ur daily reminder, cellulite. It is estimated that about 90 percent of all women have it. Cellulite is often due to hormones, genetics, and poor blood circulation, and the common causes can be weight gaining and a lack of exercise. Sadly, it is quite hard to get rid of it! With this concern, cellulite creams have been splurging on all kinds of beauty magazines. However... Do they really work? Well, actually, it depends on which type of cellulite cream that you spend your money hun! There are ONLY 3 ingredients that have been approved effective for your dimpling fat: Caffeine: Caffeine is a powerhouse ingredient that can cause the blood vessels to constrict and the fat cells to shrink temporarily. Thus, it is one of the most responsible ingredients that can firm your skin. Retinol: Retinol is able to penetrate the skin to increase collagen production, which makes your skin thicker and hides the dimpling fat. Dimethylaminoethanol or DMAE: It is an antioxidant derived from fish. When being combined with amino acids, it can stimulate the muscles to contract and become firmer. Therefore, when you are looking for cellulite cream, DO check the ingredients before buying! The pic I've posted has recommend the products that work MAGICALLY with the special concern that they target! You can choose the most suitable one. Hope to give you some inspiration! However, the truth is that no miracle cream has the power to kill cellulite totally. All they can do is to help reduce the loose appearance. Thus, you can't fully rely on these products. If you really wanna shake off your cottage cheese-like appearance, grab a towel and hit the gym lol!

Visual Lip Filler - Draw Fake BIG Lips
I have really thin lips. Literally really really THIN. I have been practiced for so long on creating big lips. Mostly with liners or lip gloss that would visually make my lips look bigger. Recently I just found thick new technique of drawing lips with statin tint, to create fake big lips. It is super easy and I hope you like it. First by drawing a line on your bottom lip to outline the shape that you want your lips to stay. My bottom lip is really thin so I normally go a little bit over outside my own lip line. Then use your gloss to create a vertical line symmetric to your lip bead. On the top of the lip, draw an “x” to set the outline of the cupid. Connect the corner of the lips to the tips of “x” and the bottom with the horizontal lines, fill in the blank to finish the look FOR $6 this lippie is PHENOMENAL! COLOURPOP - ILUVSARAHII X Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte Lip I personally really love these liquid lipsticks! it has a spectacular velvety texture. They all dry completely matte and aren't horribly uncomfortable throughout the day. I also give a little swatch on the back of my hand just to show you what the formula is like. This formula is very much like the kylie cosmetics one i just find that it tends to be more drying on my lips! It kind of feel like the YSL matte gloss but kind of has a more cushiony feel to it. More light weighted but still, very pigmented. The YLS one is kind of more like a dry stain feeling on it after it’s kind of dry down. This literally looks like my lips are made of velvet. Super light weighted. They do have a transfer to them but not like an obnoxious amount. I definitely needed a serious makeup wipe to remove it afterwards. These two colors are just amazing and I can see myself wearing these the most. With lipliner, I think my lip would look even fuller. I really like this series a lot. It kind of give me that K-POP lip wear if you only applied a little in the center and just blotted your lips a little to create that soft ombre lip look. If you are interested in that I will follow up with another post on how to create ombre lips with different types of lipsticks.
