My Makeup Combo for Everyday Spring Look!
I know we are facing a very tough and challenging time, but I do believe we should think more about the bright side! And today I do want to talk about the makeup products combo I like using during spring time! Charlotte Tilbury - Star In Your Eyes Eyeshadow Palette
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk
Lately I’ve been using this trial size of Charlotte Tilbury - Pillow Talk Lipstick and I’ve really been enjoying it! It gives a perfect “your natural shade but better” rosey nude finish and the colour payoff is really good! I love how it gives a nice natural finish, isn’t necessarily matte, but isn’t glossy either, and doesn’t easily transfer. My only complaint (and why it is 3/5 stars for me) is that I still find it creases over time, and is quite expensive considering what you are getting. The regular size is $42CAD for 0.12 ounces of product which is pretty steep for a nude/rose lip in my opinion. It’s a wonderful formula but not anything you can’t find at the drugstore for half the price. If you have the money to spend, it’s worth trying out for sure if you’re looking for an everyday, no fuss lipstick. But if not, consider looking at your local drugstore first before running to buy this!

This lipstick has such a follow! I will say the packaging is super luxe and beautiful but the pillow talk color wasn’t my perfect nude. I’ve always struggled to find nude lips that don’t wash me out. I do like the other darker shades pictured here but the original pillow talk is a little chalky and light on my skin tone! I gravitate towards more berry and coral tones than nudes!
Part of my ColourPop collection! I’m a huge fan of their Liquid Lips and Super Shock Collections! Their Matte, satin, blotted, and glossy lips are perfection and super affordable! Plus there are TONS of shades to choose from! I also love their Super Shock Shadows, blushes, bronzers, and highlighters! So blendable and creamy.

Every now and again I take a look in my makeup drawer and realize that things have taken a shift. Some of them are these two items from ctilbury the Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick and Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blush in Ecstasy. You know that I love nude lipstick. When I hear that CharlotteTilbury Pillow Talk is a nude that is "universally flattering", I need to get my hands on it. It's a medium-tone rosy beige, not too pink and yet not too brown. I should note that my natural lip color is already pinkish, so it's like "my lips but better" kind of color for me. And that's exactly what this nude did. The color has medium coverage that's buildable to full coverage. It didn't scream "I'm wearing nude lipstick" the way liquid matte formulas do. It just made my lips look full, flushed and juicy. It's not completely matte either - it's silky and does have a slight sheen. That's because the lipstick formula is infused with oils and has Tree & Orchid extract to soften, protect and hydrate for healthy-looking lips. And the Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blush in Ecstasy is the one that makes me falling in love with powder blush again. Swish and pop is the logic of applying the blush. You swish your brush around the peach outer circle of the product and apply along your cheekbone to warm the complexion first, then pop the pink shade of the center circle onto the apples of your cheek to add that flush of complementary color. This results in a peachy coral color which is perfect for me. The texture is smooth with a pretty sheen. It's not matte, not chalky and doesn't give that streaky blush look. I really love the healthy glow it adds to my face. It's definitely highly pigmented and long-wearing on the skin. Blends like a dream, it feels like a luxury and quality product for sure.it feels like a luxury and quality product for sure.

BAREMINERAL BOUNCE & BLUR EYESHADOW PALETTE
bareMinerals - BOUNCE & BLUR Eyeshadow Palette Recently I’ve been spending a lot more time on my eyeshadow just because if I’m out wearing masks on the street, all people see are my eyes! This eyeshadow palette has been a go-to! The shades are so soft, buttery & pigmented and I love the looks I can create with these tones. I’ve been creating super soft ombre eyes with these warm, sunset shades and have gotten so many compliments! This palette is so underrated and I feel like it should be talked about more! Definitely check it out when you see it in store and test the formulation! They also last really well and don’t crease on me :)

kathleenlights x Colourpop TheZodiacCollection is the launch that has got starry-eyed in the beauty world IMO. Inspired by Kathleen's passion for astrology, the collection features an eyeshadow palette, two Lux lipstick, two liquid Supernova eyeshadows, and two Super Shock cream highlighters. Too bad, I didn't get the Astrology and Constellation liquid eyeshadows and Fire highlighters, yet. • I've been watching kathleenlights since the beginning and I learn a lot about makeup from her. But the reason why this collection has caught my eye in particular is because it's different. It seems that unique upon first inspection, but the more I've had a play with it, the more I've realized that I don't actually own things quite like it. • The Zodiac eyeshadow palette, appearance-wise, has beautiful packaging and inside a full range of colors are there, there areneutrals that works as a base, warm transition shades, a deep cocoa for lining, and pop of colors for extra oomph. Whatever your color preference, there's a compacted line-up for you. • The other difference in The Zodiac Palette though are the textures. It features an array of mattes, satin, and shimmers that's soft and loosely-pressed. The Libra, the pinkish color on the middle row is the one that I've used the most so far. It's perfect all over the lid for an everyday look, and you can build the color to full coverage without being powdery. • The Lux Lipstick, named "What's Your Sign?" and "Scorpio Moon" respectively, the former is neutral, beige-brown color which's perfect to wear together with "Moon Child" Glossy Lips from Kathleen's previous collection. While the latter, is a wearable mauve hue. • Moving on to the sparkly product of the launch, the crème powder highlighter that instantly becomes my favorite, "On the Cusp" which is an angelic champagne hue. I like to apply this with a fingertip and the texture is smooth, spongy and a touch wet. It gives me beautiful luminous sheen that doesn't emphasize my skin's natural texture. Totally recommended this one!

Natasha Denona Sunrise
This is my first Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette and let me tell you it does not disappoint!!☀️ I purchased the sunrise pallet at Sephora this last year. I was slightly hesitant at first because the price is very expensive and it is the most I’ve ever paid for an eyeshadow palette. ($65 USD) but it was worth every dollar! The Shades go on so beautifully. The pigment is amazing and they last all day long 😍 I highly recommend this pallete to everyone! I do feel that the price is slightly expensive but all of her products are so if you don’t mind spending a little more on this eyeshadow palette it is definitely worth it and I can guarantee you’ll love it! ☀️☀️

Fenty Snap Shadows
My first Fenty product!! This is my first fenty product thanks to Cherie! I had been looking at purchasing these snap shadows and I won them in the giveaway! This neutral pallete is amazing and has all the colors i love to wear in it. The pigment is amazing and long lasting!! These snap shadows are $25 USD a piece which is pretty affordable for a fenty product! My only critique of this product is it is a lot smaller in real life than it looked in their advertising. I am loving these shadows so far and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! It is slightly expensive for such a small pallete but I do think it is worth it!
