Okay time to get real I value my skin more then anything now .. Before high school and even at the beginning of it , I have always struggles with ACNE SCARS ! Because i am an intense picker ! Which made me not like my skin and just had low self esteem but In high school till this day , i dont know why or how but I got this intense breakout reaction that took a toll on my self confidence as well as emotionally how I felt about myself . AND the worst thing ever was that it was a couple weeks before prom too ! Imagine the AUDACITY My doctors thought it was hormonal or even stress related , others taught it was some type of fungus ? But I was prescribed to changed my face routine and everything I just and that’s exactly what I did and two years later my skin looks amazing !
Impulse Amazon Buys (feat. hair removal hack)
If you have no idea what these things are, I present to you: Impulse Amazon Buys that I Don’t Regret! 💆🏻♀️#Heeta - Hair Scalp Massager[products]#[FiveStars] First off is a scalp massager I got for $8. I initially bought it in a desperate attempt to clear up dry flakes, but I keep using it for its relaxing effect and it’s ability to evenly distribute my low-lathering shampoos (curly hair probs). I love that this one comes with a little loop to hang in the shower! It claims to also increase circulation and strengthen your follicles, but I haven’t necessarily noticed a decrease in hair fall in the year I’ve been using it. Overall it’s a such a cheap addition and makes me look forward to washing my hair! 👨🏻Threading Spring ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is something I bought at 2 AM after seeing a random ad of a woman rolling this on her face and all of a sudden her mustache was gone. As a Latina Jew, thick dark hair is in my DNA- and on my upper lip. It was a huge source of insecurity and from the day I discovered facial hair bleach, I’ve been trying everything under the sun to get rid of my ‘stache (bleach, Nair, waxing, threading, plucking, etc.). These sketchy $5 springs off the internet have been my saving grace! Every couple weeks before washing my face, I wipe them down with rubbing alcohol (let dry) and then get rolling. It works in the same mechanism as threading (grabbing groups of hairs at the base and yanking them out), but with like 1/10 of the skill required. It also damages your skin WAY less than every other hair removal method. In my opinion, it hurts less than threading, but it’s also possible that threading desensitized that area a bit. For the sake of saving time, $, and my sensitive skin, I can take a little pain (and nothing compares to the pain of wiping off your Nair, then scrubbing Proactive into your pubescent face only to burn the sh!t out of your upper lip lmao). Results last ~3 weeks and these were $5 for a 2 pack (there are pricier and cheaper options). How to use the threading spring: 1- Hold the handles and bend into an upside down U 2- Twist handles toward yourself and roll along skin 3- Continue twisting and rolling in quick motions until done!
DIY brow lamination! $30 for $120 salon-worthy results
As a beauty lover, I always try the latest beauty methods unremittingly. One of them is the brow fit trend. My eyebrows are very sparse, and I have not plucked them for two years to make them grow. So when I saw this new technology, I felt that maybe there was hope for me and my brows. Salon treatments usually cost around $120 and last for six to eight weeks, but because the salon is closed, I decided to try lamination of my eyebrows at home. I got this kit from amazon only costs $30! How did it work? First, I used the eyelash glue of this kit to glue the eyebrows to the desired position. I applied the perm liquid solution on one eyebrow at a time and then topped plastic wrap on it to make the chemical work. Eight minutes later, I used the fixing solution to set the broken hair bonds into the shape that was glued at the beginning. When I applied it, my forehead area started to foam. That is normal, so don’t be worried. I also put it on my eyebrows with plastic wrap for eight minutes. After removing the chemicals, the next step is to clean them. Finally, I used the nutritional oil included in the kit. It’s an essential step because the chemicals used in the lamination process can dry out the hair. The photo is the result immediately after! The eyebrow lamination at home took about an hour, and I can say it’s efficient and affordable! BUT, If you want to have a try, please make sure you’re not allergic to these chemical things and be cautious when applying them. Product used: Elevate the Beauty - Eyebrow and Lash Lamination kit. Unfortunately, this kit has already sold out.

Hormonal Acne Routine 💪
Heads up- this will be a long post! I usually have combo/ oily skin with breakouts here and there. I recently had a crazy hormonal acne flare up and after trying numerous products, I decided to see a dermatologist. Here’s the routine I’ve been following for just over a month and have seen improvement. 1. I wash my face with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin morning and night. This cleanser is very gentle and doesn’t strip my skin or irritate my newly sensitive skin. I haven’t been wearing makeup so I can’t speak as to how good this is at removing makeup. For a daily cleanser, it’s a great option although I do find the price a little steep for a drugstore product at $15. A little goes a long way so I only use about half a pump each time! 2. I spray CAUDALIE - Grape Water on my face while it’s still a little damp. I bought the mini version at first and and about using it for a week, I ordered the bigger one! I reviewed this product separately as well and I didn’t have very high hopes. It really helps reduce sensitivity, provides a burst of hydration and preps my skin for the next product. It’s also fragrance free. 3. In the mornings, I apply Benzoyl Peroxide on the affected areas. I only keep it on for 5 minutes and then wash my face with cold water as per the dermatologist. I thought it might be more effective if I left it on and boy was I wrong. My skin was red and itchy and flaming and it was horrible. So listen to the expert!! 4. I then moisturize with CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin mornings and nights. I have to say, I’m still getting used to this one. As an oily girl, I’m used to using gel based moisturizers that sink right now. This I feel kind of sits on top of my skin... I know there’s a “lotion” as well which may be a little more suited for me than a “cream”. However, it doesn’t irritate my skin so I’ve stuck to it. 5. I finish my applying sunscreen with SPF 50. I’ve had this previously and I used it for oily skin. It hasn’t dried my newly combo/ sensitive skin so I’ve continued using this product. Night Routine 3 times a week, I apply DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel to the effected area. I feel confident this has made a huge impact! It is of course drying but the CAUDALIE - Grape Water helps with that. I even use it as a spot treatment in between if I need to! This is a prescribed version but it’s also available OTC. Add Ons 1. JĀSON - Soothing 98% Aloe Vera Pure Natural Moisturizing Gel when my skin is feeling super sensitive (more so in the early stages) I used this instead of the CeraVe. It feels nice on the skin and is a natural product. 2. dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator I use this as I need it to exfoliate away any dead skin as a result of the creams I’m using. Gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin at all

Just some thoughts on DE products i’ve tried so far. 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞: combo, acne prone, sensitive 🌱𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢: i think it’s an awesome moisturizer! beautiful texture and really seals in everything. Again, we don’t know if the peptides actually work per application but I like how this feels on skin more than any other (thick, sealing) cream I have so i’m giving it a higher rating. It tends to make me oilier than usual when used during the day so I only put it on at night. Is it worth the price tho? absolutely not. ~ coconut alkanes❗️ 𝐀𝐥𝐭: @cerave night renewing cream, thicker but has ceramides and shorter ingredient list 🌞𝐂 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚: totally just did not work for me. Too heavy, made skin very oily and only exacerbated my acne. I think it’ll work better for dry skin. ~ i’m probably one of the few people who don’t buy the company’s 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫-𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 claims 🤷🏻♀️ show us comparative data? 𝐀𝐥𝐭: @cerave vitamin c serum- way cheaper 💧𝐁-𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚: decent product. does nothing special than any drugstore hydrators. gives good hydration for my oily skin but may not be sufficient for dry skin. has pineapple, watermelon, apple extracts so has more potential to cause irritation. 𝐀𝐥𝐭: @hadalabotokyo lotions, @neutrogena hydroboost, @pyunkangyul essence lotion 🌹*gift 𝐀-𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢: it’s OKAY. I just don’t see the point of wasting $74 on a retinol if you can have @differinus adapalane ($14, for acne) or @curology tretinoin ($20, acne, anti aging) that are proven more effective and already in their active state? I guess it’s for those who can’t tolerate these retinoids and don’t mind shelling out 💸🙈 🌻𝐂-𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨: pure luxury, unnecessary. the protini itself makes a good eye cream. 🌼𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐨𝐢𝐥: scam. buy @deciem instead. Overall, I think it’s a good fragrance-free (also cruelty-free) but overhyped brand. None of these delivers anything substantial to justify their prices🙈

HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I love all of these! ✨ HOLI FROG Tashmoo: A soothing nonfoaming cleanser. Great for the mornings! I love this because it’s very gentle yet effective at cleansing. It leaves my skin feeling clean yet moisturized. I wouldn’t use this after a full day of wearing makeuo just because I have other cleansers that work better for that. Wins the superlative because it’s great on sensitive skin HOLI FROG Shasta AHA: A nonfoaming cleanser with chemical exfoliating AHA’s. I love how this cleanser is gentle yet includes AHA ingredients to exfoliate the skin. It doesnt feel too harsh. This would be great for people who want to start using exfoliating products because of its nourishing properties. I use this at night almost everyday! It’s gentle enough for daily use and I still see great results with this. Wins the superlative because it’s a great everyday cleanser for every skin type! CeraVe Foaming: A gentle cleanser for oily skin types. This is great because it feels really effective at removing oils while not stripping the skin. It has niacinamide which is a great ingredient for evening the skin and removing oil. I always loved how I can use this everyday day and night without experiencing tightness or dehydration. I would recommend this for anyone with normal to oily skin types that want a fragrance free option with other beneficial ingredients. This wins the oily skin award because it’s in my opinion one of the most effective cleansers out there for oily skin types. CeraVe Renewing SA: A foaming, fragrance free cleanser with salicylic acid. I love how this cleanser foams up because it feels like a deep clean! The addition of salicylic acid feels amazing on the skin and I really feel smoothing effects with this cleanser. This would be great for people with acne or acne-prone skin!

Get rid of acne overnight!!! New favs in 2020
New Acne-fighting favs, Life changing product!! Love love love these!!! The acne dots and dark spot brightening dots together, it’s a skin correcting power combo! If I could give these 6 stars I would. I have been using these as my secret weapon when I get a big pimple because it completely gets rid of the bacteria and helps the skin heal faster. Put these on at night after washing your face thoroughly and the next morning you will see a significant difference in your ache. These aren’t cheap I’ve tried other drugstore brands of the dots, but none of them work as well as these. My skin is sensitive and I don’t have any negative reactions to the dots. I 100% recommend these!
