A Holy Grail and A Disappoinment
I finally caved and purchased these two insanely popular products from glossier! I feel like my whole page and vanity are turning completely pink but I’m not mad about it 💖 Glossier. - Boy Brow Wow this product is way smaller than I thought it would be for the price. The brush is also really tiny (or maybe I just have thick eyebrows hahaha) but the pigment is nice, and it goes on well enough but the shade I got (brown) is a little too red for my ashy brows and it clumps a bit, but I’m gonna blame that on the fact that it was the first use. Overall I’m not obsessed, I’m a much bigger fan of the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel so I’ll probably use this sparingly. Glossier. - Cloud Paint I’ve wanted this blush for literally forever and I am do happy I finally got it! The perfect subtle blush color I’ve been needing. A little really does go such a long way, application was easy and the dusk color is perfect for my golden undertones. Also, it really makes my freckles pop which is a neat side effect! This one is definitely worth it.

Lip Gloss in red + benefit - BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara MILANI - Baked Blush in ‘bella rosa’ - great hot pink color! blush can be a little hard to blend but it’s overall a great product.

ULTA Haul! 😍⭐️
In the past year or so, we’ve gone through some financial difficulties that we are finally getting through! My abiding love for beauty products has definitely been on the back burner, since it is a nonessential, and we were a little more concerned about, ya know, eating. Things are really turning around, so I set aside some cash to treat myself with some goodies today! thrive causemetics - Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara™ has been a favorite since I got a sample size in an Ipsy bag ages ago. Finally snatched up a full tube! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Eyebrow Pencil I cannot wait to use this! 😍 NYX - Slide on Lip Pencil I’ve heard about this one from the lovely Allie Glines on YouTube, so I finally picked it up! MILANI - Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper doesn’t really plump, but the color is gorgeous over the NYX pencil! OPI - OPI Nail Lacquer gonna use this tonight! My anniversary is tomorrow, so I gotta freshen up the nails for date night! If you had to go on an Ulta haul under $100, what would you get?
💪🏼Can't Live Without! Glossier Boy Brow💪🏼
Just like most Asains, I have super sparse brows and I'm also super lazy so I don't like wasting a bunch of time to get a perfect filled that does not look non-existent. I looked around for the easiest way possible to get easy and decent brows and that is when I foundGlossier. - Boy Brow when I went to a Glossier popup store in Austin. Before going, I looked up some products and I saw soooo many review on the Boy Brow. I found out that it is inspired by the traditional hair pomade which keeps hair in place while not making its' texture become too stiff😯. When I tried the product at Glossier, I fell in love! ♥️It is absolutely super easy to use and if you're someone like me who wants a more natural and "no make-up" look then this is the right product for you. It does not clump the brows but it allows you to shape and groom your brows into place. The texture of the product is creamy and waxy yet brushable consistency☺️. The packaging is a super tiny tube that looks like a mascara. The spoolie is shorter than a mascaras brush but I feel like the length is pretty easy to use. I like this product and can't live without it because it is so easy to use. You can't really mess up with this product tbh. I also like the formula since it contains Oleic acid, lecithin, and atelocollagen which are all ingreduents that help condition and moisturize the brows👌🏻. This product only comes in 3 subtly tinted shades: blond, brown, and black. When I picked out my shade, I was in between brown and black and I was scared that brown would be too light and black would be too dark but when I tried brown on, it was perfect! I think it's because it is a super subtle tint so it blends pretty well with my brows. I would definately recommend 👍🏻this prodcut for lazy and natural look seekers like me since it is so easy to use. The only thing I would warn you about is that this product is SO tiny so make sure to keep an eye on it since I feel like it's pretty easy to lose. This product is $16 for only 3/12g/0.11 oz so it is slightly on the expensive side but I feel like its worth it since really little product is needed for a single use.
Best mascara ever!
ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara If you like long, natural looking lashes like me, this is the perfect mascara! The double sided wand helps apply product and separates your lashes for a natural finish. It’s long wearing and I’ve never had a problem with smudging, which is the number one thing I look out for in mascaras. It’s very comparable to Glossier’s Lash Stick, but at more of an affordable price + you get more usage. It’s a great, clean formula and a holy grail product!
ILIA-Limitless Lash Mascara
Brow-wow! Truly a star product!
I love my brows thick, defined, and lifted. Yes, lifted- if that makes sense. I love brushing my brow hairs up to give them a Cara Delevigne-esque vibe. I simply adore how babes with bushy brows look. One can say I have pretty thick brows because they’re jet black but if you come close and really look closely, they’re sparse. That’s why I rely on some star products to fake and perfect the bushy brow look. One of my 2 go-to products is Glossier Boy Brow. Tons of people on Instagram are raving about how amazing this product is, and I’m one of them. I love how it keeps my brows up for a full day. I don’t touch up on my eyebrow makeup cause they just tend to stick, and thanks to this cult product, my brows are lifted the whole day. I’ll continue purchasing this ‘cause it’s cheap, and it does the job perfectly. Can’t ask for more! Glossier really is so worth the hype!
boy brow vs w3ll people brow gel
Second pic: natural eyebrow Third pic: boy brow left, W3ll people right I have been a long time fan of glossier’s boy brow eyebrow gel. I think it gives a really natural look, and adds to my standard “less is more” makeup routine. However, I found this vegan drugstore brand of eyebrow gel from W3ll People and wanted to give it a try! It is a touch cheaper than glossier, and more accessible since you can find it at target etc. overall, boy brow is the winner (pictured on the left in the third photo). Glossier. - Boy Brow my only drawback about this gel is that, due to the upward stroke application, I sometimes have to use a spoolie to smooth my eyebrows into the shape I want. But as for as color and fill, I think this is the perfect brow gel for someone who wants a little bit of definition without looking like they have done anything to their brows. W3LL PEOPLE - Expressionist Brow Gel as you can see in the third picture, this gel goes on cakey and leaves a lot of product behind (in the picture I even went over it with a q tip to wipe off the excess, and it is still too much). Also, unlike boy brow, I can feel this gel on my eyebrow - it feels waxy and heavy, and not as natural as the glossier product. This brand is fine if you want to go for the darker, more noticeably filled in look, especially on a budget, but it is definitely waxier and leaves a lot of product behind.
