The Shu Uemura cleansing oil shu uemura - shu uemura Cleansing Oil Shampoohas been one of my holy grail products for 3 years now. Here’s how to use the product. Step 1: Dispense the Shu Uemura cleansing oil from the pump and apply onto skin. Because I don’t use a lot of makeup, I find that one pump is usually sufficient for my entire face. Step 2: Massage the cleansing oil gently over makeup. As you can see from the picture three, the lip products (liquid lipstick and matte lipstick) were the easiest to remove. The Shu Uemura cleansing oil changed its colour from its clear, slightly yellow shade to the reddish hue of the lip products as it removes them. They almost can’t be seen immediately after I massage the product onto skin. Step 3: Concentrate more on stubborn areas. I used my fingers to go over the eye makeup a bit more and it also started to break down. Step 4: Wet your hands and go over the entire area to emulsify the oil Step 5: Rinse off with water I’ve been using the Shu Uemura cleansing oil for three years now, and it remains one of my favourite makeup removers. Besides its efficacy in removing makeup thoroughly (yes, even the most stubborn makeup, as you can see) and very quickly, it also doesn’t leave a greasy or tight feeling on the face after washing.

I thought I'd mix things up a bit and show the parts of my morning routine I don't usually share, aka anything other than skincare. I always wash my hair in the morning (I like PM showers to clean off but sleeping with wet/damp hair does not go well for me) and then style it a bit. I also like to do the occasional physical scrub in the shower since it's less messy. Lastly I take supplements along with my meds and ALWAYS apply sunscreen. Here's some things I'm currently using: ▪️ love_amika normcore shampoo and conditioner* have been great for regular washing- my hair is left clean and soft, plus I love the bright packaging! ▪️ I've been using hair turbans to dry my hair since I was a teenager- hands down the best way in my opinion! I always used the original turbie twists, that is until I tried the aquishair hair turban*, which cuts drying time in half! ▪️ I take a few regular vitamins, and just finished both lovewellness lean queen* and getsundaily gummies*, and I've already ordered refills! ▪️ the frank_bod creamy face scrub* is a bit rough, which I don't mind but can be too much for others, so I use a little on my face and more on the rest of my body. Love the coffee scent! ▪️ usually I apply a small amount of ouai rose hair and body oil (via supergreatapp rewards!) on the ends and top layers of my hair to nourish/tame frizz ▪️ glossier body hero duo - always a staple ▪️ the supergoop unseen sunscreen* has been great as it has a balmy texture that feels like protection against the change of temperature. ▪️ last but certainly not least, a candle of course! The one in the photo is a backup for the boy__smells redhead candle, which I adore, and not just because of the name ▪️ oh and itsmymyro deoderant*

LUSH - Montalbano Shampoo Bar This is a second cleanser from Sensai, that’s silky and purifying. For all skin types including sensitive. I had this for quite a long time as a travel cleanser but I’m finally out now that I’m in Holland. Fulfilled its purpose! I would probably not buy the full-size because of the price. It’s just not worth it when I have so many other cleansers and cheaper alternatives. But it was truly creamy! And soapy! It’s a white milky yet silk looking thick and rigid “cream”. Lathers up really well and cleans off everything like a good cleanser. It was a super cleanser actually just a bit on the pricey side for me personally. On the other side for people who love Kanebo or Sensai, you only needed half a pea-size! Would totally recommend trying Sensai but not the full-size of this.

Worth it for $10?
I saw this Sephora favorites beauty icons set for $10 and had to have it. It’s really affordable and I wanted t try these out and see if it’s really worth the $10. Youth to the people superfood cleanser- I used this twice and omg I love it! I love the scent of this, it subtle and it smells kinda like lemongrass with green tea. It has a fresh green scent. I’m actually considering buying the full size and using the 15% off. It’s $36 for 8oz. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Living proof restore repair hair mask- after using this I felt my hair smoother and detangle easier. I’ve only used this one time and so far it’s nice. If I end up liking this a lot maybe I’ll buy this. It’s $38 for 6.7oz which isn’t too bad but on the expensive side. Living proof. - Restore Mask Treatment Laneige water bank moisture cream- I really enjoyed this. It made my skin smoother and didn’t leave it tight at all. Its a little bit thicker than I thought (in a good way) since it says water cream I thought it was going to be gel or a light water feel but it’s the opposite. It’s feels very moisturizing. It’s $38 for 1.6oz. It’s more expensive than I thought. LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream Nudestix nudies all over face bronze color- I got this in the shade sunkissed. It’s a nice color but at times it doesn’t blend as quick as I want. Probably won’t buy this as I don’t need bronzers. $32 for 0.25 oz NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow Nars lipstick in the shade Tolède- it’s a really beautiful shade of pink. It’s a rosy pink color and it’s great for going out and for work. I will definitely buy the full size of this. $26 for a 0.12 oz NARS - NARS Lipstick Viktorrolf flowerbomb perfume sample- it smells nice but I don’t want to drop $85 for a 1oz bottle. VIKTOR&ROLF - Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum I would say this $10 kit is 100% worth it to me. There’s so many goodies to try out and if you don’t like most of it it’s ok cause you didn’t spend too much on it.

Neutrogena - Anti-Residue Gentle Clarifying Shampoo This anti residue shampoo lives up to its name for sure. It is harsh and intense at what it does but that’s kinda the point. I only use this about once a month to reallyyyy deep clean and remove any residue from dry shampoo or silicone-containing products. Recommend!! Also love the scent

Verb Ghost Oil
The first ever hair oil I’ve ever tried! Purpose: revitalizes, strengthens and smooths hair. Notable Ingredients: Moringa seed oil, bamboo extract and argan oil Texture: it has thick viscous consistency when compared to other oils. I use half a pump. It has a citrus and woods smell to it (grapefruit and oatmeal blend) Packaging: comes in a plastic packaging with a pump Verdict: I enjoyed the scent of this product. A little goes a long way thus a good bang for your buck! This was the first ever hair oil I used when my hair was super long (down to my bum). My ends were split and dry, applying this oil to my ends every other night really helped keep it soft and hydrated! 💕SKINTYPE: oily, acne-prone, texture at times 💕SKINTONE: medium warm 💕HAIRTYPE: 1a, dark brown colour, oily scalp VERB - Ghost Oil
Lush no drought dry shampoo
I like this for travel because it’s not a liquid!! This powder smells nice like citrus and does work to absorb any oil. That said it’s kind of messy to apply, and personally leaves too much residue for me to enjoy using on the daily.
