Simple Model Tips 📸8 Tricks For Looking Better On Camera
There's a reason why models always look amazing in photos. Yeah, they are born good-looking, they have a glam team behind... Having been a model for many times as my part-time job during college, I've learned that there are some tricks that anyone can try to look great in photos! Makeup While taking photos, the flash and lens can make the makeup look lighter and more subtle than it actually does, so when I take fashion photos, I prefer to go for a heavy makeup look such as punk makeup I've posted here for a coolness or glam makeup for sweetness. Here are some pro makeup tips:
Use a mattifying full coverage foundation like tarte - Babassu Foundcealer Skincare Foundation SPF 20 to make skin look smooth, even, and flawless.
Don't apply the sunscreen that will leave a white cast under makeup because it will make your face look weird under the camera's flash.
Contour your face by defining your bone structure with a few deep bronzer strikes and applying highlighters on forehead and cheekbones to slim your face.
Fill in brows to accentuate your eyes and avoid looking washed out.
Wear false lashes for bigger, brighter eyes.
Go for dark lipsticks as these deep hues can create an illusion of smaller lips. Btw that's one of the reasons why I stick to grunge makeup, which requires bold black lipsticks lol.Hair A good dry shampoo can be a game-changing method for a chill picture! As the camera flash makes your hair look a bit greasy than they are in real life, I recommend you spray some anti-shine dry shampoo such as OUAI - Volume Shampooto add extra volume to your hair. Pose Position your body naturally but in a more noticeable way. Avoid straight, limp arms or stiff legs. Try to relax a bit before taking photos. If you still feel uncomfortable before the camera, try simple poses like bending your arms and holding them slightly away from your body. Got it? You totally got this! Have fun with taking pictures! Is Foundcealer really full coverage? 🤔
tarte - Babassu Foundcealer Skincare Foundation SPF 20 I got this shade at Sephora without being able to try it on because of the covid rules. I use a beauty blender to apply it on. To be honest it is a little drying and I have to make sure to moisturize really well or else it kinda flakes off. It’s nearly full coverage. In certain lighting I can still see the redness on my cheeks but it is difficult to find a full coverage foundation. This was my first tarte purchase and I may try other ones in the future. I do think it matched my skin tone well so long as I blend sufficiently. It’s not my favorite foundation but it does do the job. It doesn’t stay very well on my face even with primer and setting powder&spray. I notice it gets a little patchy and doesn’t do well with sweat especially on long days. The last pic is freshly applied and in good lighting but regularly it doesn’t look so even. I do like that is has 20spf which is nice.

OUAI Volumizing Shampoo + Conditioner— [Pretty strong, perfumy scent, but gave my hair nice volume that lasted the day. Definitely interested in trying some other things from this brand.] Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer [I feel like everyone loves this bronzer, but I already have one neglected sample of it bc I don’t really use powders. Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel [I have a full size of this. Glad to have a mini for travel. You can sorttt of feel it on your brows, but it’s such a simple product that I haven’t bothered to branch out and try anything else. Works well enough to keep brows in place!] Origins Retexturizing Mask w Rose Clay [I was most excited about this product bc I love a good mask. This one dried down really quickly, and I love that it purifies and exfoliates but is not at all harsh. Left my skin felt very soft. Looking forward to getting more uses in.] Living Proof TBD Multi-Tasking Styler [¯\_(ツ)_/¯] Make Up Forever Artist Rouge Lipstick [This is sort of a pale/blush pink shade.]

It’s a 10’s lightweight sister
I found this to be comparable to the its a ten leave in conditioner that I use but a much more liquid consistency! And I think due to that it isn’t as heavy duty. I do still like this though, it smells amazing and it it doesn’t weigh down my curls like the its a ten does. This retails for $25 and its cruelty free 🧡

Amika Detangler ✨
This is the Amika The Wizard detangling primer. It is 4 oz and is meant to detangle hair and prep hair for heating tools. First of all this smells liquid spray absolutely amazing. Amika has such a unique scent and I adore it. Sometimes I’ll use this almost as a leave in product just because I want my hair to smell like this. I use it often after I shower to help detangle my hair before brushing it out. I love the extra perk of it being protective too for when I use that. I love the packaging of this as well. The pattern is really cute but the spray nozzle works really well. I adore this and highly recommend it. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️amika: - The Wizard Detangling Primer

the product: amika: - The Wizard Detangling Primer the rating: 5/5, would buy again the ingredients: sea buckthorn berry [vitamins A,C, etc] the review: i got this baby bottle of detangler in a sephora play box and really liked it. the scent was pleasant and a few spritzes helped me to untangle and brush my long, bleached and color treated hair. i apply this product after a shower, when my hair is still damp. i didnt notice any discoloration and was pretty happy with my soft hair when it was dry. overall, i would buy it! price: $24 for 4oz. and the bottle is adorable

EMPTIES THAT I WILL REPURCHASE🤍✨
Starting off 2020 right with repurchasing products I know that I love and fell in love with. When I think about my empties and 2020 repurchases these two came to my mind right away. 💰🤍 #Garnier - Fructis smoothing treat[products]#[FiveStars] This Garnier product is a product for your hair and an amazing product that I would use as a deep conditioning mask for my hair. This was an avocado mask and so it made my hair really soft and nourished. I had the worst time with taking care of my hair in previous years and still have trouble today 😭 BUT with this product It really did a lot for me with just one simple product such as this. I know they sell this size and even bigger size and in all honestly I’m probably going to get the big size for it. This really allowed me to do the least for my hair (because lazy 😂😭) but get the most out of it in all aspects. I loved it a lot, and bought this more than once throughout 2019 that I’ll definitely buy again. It’s really inexpensive and super easy to use I definitely think it’s well worth it. smashbox - Photo Finish Primer Water NOW on to beauty and makeup 🤍💄 I bought this product because I heard so many good things about it from various different people. At the time I didn’t have a setting spray or primer like this that I was using, I also found this concept to be really cool. Having a primer in a bottle form instead of tube... and so I tried it and let me tell you 😍🥰🥰 I loved it. Not only did it hydrate my skin just with the concept of spraying my face but it actually did a good job with priming my skin and getting it ready for makeup. 💄☺️ This is definitely easy to use and convenient, but it can be pricy. If you have the means to purchase it I’d say go for it! I have dry skin and so having this concept where you are spraying something on your face as a primer in comparison to the typical tube primers that look like moisturizers I found it helped a lot. I would spray my face wait for it to try and get a bit tacky then start applying my foundation. IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC ✨✨ it made me so much more confident in my makeup and just skins overall appearance that I’d definitely go back and repurchase for myself. I mean I need to right? 😋 If you tried any of these products let me know by commenting down below! SHARE YOUR OPINIONS🤍
