My perfect powder bronzer formula is one that doesnāt apply patchy (even over cream products), and adds a decent amount of color and warmth to my face. To be honest, I always choose cream bronzer over a powder one but Iāve recently discovered a new way of using powder bronzer! Instead of using it to ābrontourā (bronze+contour), I use it was a wash of warmth all over the face, or just along the high-points. Itās like a veil of golden color that makes you look more radiant and glowy.

Glowy makeup in literally 10 minutes
Okay, so I literally forgot that I had a Zoom call this morning that I needed to be on camera for and literally had to get glammed up in 10 minutes. I have acne-prone skin and always need my makeup to cover up my breakouts and scars, so concealer is a must for me. Since using Zoom, Iāve noticed that mascara makes a huge difference and can truly elevate your look by lifting up your lashes. Bronzer and blush also make big impacts in the way your skin looks on Zoom; sometimes Iāve found that I look ghostly pale if I donāt add a little color to my cheeks. To save time, I skipped foundation and just spot-treated with concealer (thankfully I didnāt have that many spots and bumps to cover up today lol). I also donāt use powder or lipstick if Iām in a rush - and sometimes I forget to get rid of my mascara smudges (which I definitely did today lol)
Hereās my 10-minute routine and the steps/products that I consider essential:
Prep: Glossier Futuredew oil serum on my high-points to make my skin look glowy. I donāt recommend using a lot of this product or applying it all over the face since it can be thick and oily. Applying a little on the high-points is how Iāve avoided breakouts.
Concealer: Fenty Beauty Match Skin Stix in French Vanilla. I applied it to my under-eyes and then around the spots on my chin and forehead to brighten and conceal. Since itās a stick formulation, I like to blend it out with a damp beauty sponge otherwise I find it hard to blend out and get a natural-looking finish. This product is also really good for Zoom because of its matte finish, which helps eliminate any the glare from your computer looking like shine.
Mascara: Marc Jacobs Beauty Mascara delivers fuller, voluminous lashes in one sweep because of its fluffy hourglass wand. Itās one of my favorite mascaras of all-time and really transforms my lashes.
Blush: Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand in the shade Pinkgasm, which is a liquid blush and the most shimmery, gorgeous pure pink shade and blends into the skin so nicely and easily. Iāve found that a little goes a long way, which is great when youāre in a pinch, otherwise it can be a bit much. I love to apply it with my fingers.
Highlight: Saie Beauty Dew Balm in Rosy Gold, which is actually the worst product to use in a pinch; itās really hard to get the salve-like balm out of the tube. But once itās out and melted down from your fingers, it creates the dreamiest glow.
Bronzer: I always do bronzer last in case I donāt have time for it, but I love the glow my skin gets from Hourglassā powder Ambient Lighting Bronzer, which creates a natural-looking contour and never looks artificial or caked on. If thereās time, I like to apply a little to the creases of my eyes for a little definition and faux eyeshadow moment. Thankfully I had time today because it made me look so good.

Would you like to learn how to highlight and contour your face? I'm so excited to share this amazing "cheat sheet for" Highlight and Contour! Learn how to do this in one sec and turn yourself into a pro of highlight and contour. This cheatsheet I got from Google picture.
šHighlight & Contour Method:
šContour: Simply follow this cheatsheet apply your contour gently in the area that shows on the left side. Apply around your hairlines and jawline, which makes your face looks smaller. Then shading below your cheekbones in order to shape your face more stereo. The most important part is your nose shading. The nose is the center of your face. Key point is to apply the shading power in a small amount each time and apply the line straight and natural.
šHighlight: Same as your highlight shows on the right side. The area under your eyes and above your cheekbones, you can use a big highlight brush to apply for this area. Then change to a smaller brush, to apply highlighter in the center of your nose. Remember the line need to be straight and natural, otherwise, your nose will look weird! After that, apply under your eyebrows and a little bit above your lips, to get your lips looks more stereo. Finally, the area in the middle between your 2 eyebrows on your forehead.
Then you will get a perfect face!

It contains both a highlighter and a contour in this cute package, whether you are on a trip or you just want to carry it with you in a small purse, the size is perfect for carryout. I really like the texture. It's creamy and smoothly that you can blend it out like a dream. For the highlight color, it does not shine like a star, but the color is super natural which I loved. For the people who like shining highlighter, I wouldn't suggest you buy it. The highlighter will give people the impression that you are more beautiful without noticing you are wearing highlighter. Okay so we've all seen that girl who has tried to contour or bronze up and ends up picking a shade that is way too warm for her skin! Finding a cool bronzer can be challenging, especially if you have fair skin.
The MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Bronzer was a game changer for me! Not only is this the most beautiful and blendable bronzer, but this pan is HUGE! I purchased my second one of these 6 months ago and have not made a dent, even after using it almost everyday! It's a pricey product, but for how long it lasts it 100% worth it š°
There are 3 shades available for this product, though I find the main different between the 3 options is the warmth. They also always come out with limited edition versions of this product around the holidays so make sure to keep an eye out for that š
Will I repurchase - 100%, this will probably be my signature bronzer for life! Incredibly buildable and never makes me look orange!

A stunning heart shape bronzer comes with two shades, one a golden bronze, and the other a darker bronze. Perfect for sculpting the cheekbones or mix the two shades together and use it a radiant bronzer for the face and body.

Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer in Sweet Tea
My skin type is typically oily with the occasional breakout and dry spot, but the Texas weather has been going haywire lately and my skin has been a mix of oily and dry lol. The purpose of this product is to prove a radiant glow that always looks natural. The third pic is of the swatches. The top swatch is the shimmer shade on the left side of the heart, the middle swatch is the right side of the heart that is matte, and the bottom swatch is the two shades combined. The fourth and fifth pictures are of my makeup freshly applied. The last pic is of my overall makeup look. I picked this up when all Too Faced bronzers weāre half off last year during the 21 Days of Beauty event one day. When you blend the two sides together and apply them to the face, the shimmer is hardly noticeable and it looks like a nice bronzer. It just looks matte and doesnāt draw anymore attention to the imperfections there than any other bronzer Iāve used. This does wear well throughout the day and doesnāt fade like some do. It looks very natural and easily blends right into the skin! I really enjoy this bronzer because it looks so natural and is easy to work with! The pigmentation is perfect. It only takes a little amount of product to get this look, so this huge size will last forever! I would recommend this product if youāre looking for a pretty, natural bronzer! This is def worth the sale price I paid for it, but donāt think itās worth the full price because Too Faced products seem to go on sale a lot. Bronzer or Blush? I would pick one for all
There has often been a struggle in the weekend morning, where I have to make a decision between bronzer and blush, which for a lot of times sets my mood for the day. Between the two, there are actually several differences and similarities.
Function
The similarity is simple, they both are used to modify the skin tone and give it a little bit of variety before the final touch. However, bronzers are used to strengthen the highlight and shade and brings up your cheekbones as part of or after doing the contour. Blushes are for a later stage; it gives a little bit of garnish by setting a warm tone of your cheek on top of your already completed makeup, which can be used as the final touch.
Color
Another difference would be the color you choose. Blushes are normally in the red hue (pink, orange, etc.) and the colors are more vibrant and the texture is much lighter so it only gives a touch of warm tone without making major change. It brings up your cheek by the drawing attention to the vibrant color tone. In comparison, bronzers are in the brown and khaki hue where it helps to structure your facial contour and adds a bit of healthy bronze skin tone. And bronzers bring up the cheeks by sharpening the angles and bone lines.
What I useļ¼
The blush I am using now is from Sephora. It is not the best yet the quality is enough for my demand in what it is for. Most importantly, I travel a lot, having something universal in the US and in Europe and in very rare cases that could run out of stock is just safe and easy for me. It has two parts ā peach pink on the left and a little more orangish on the right.
Bronzers are used more frequently than blushes as I care my facial structure and cheek bone a lot and I like the appearance of healthy bronze tone. I can run out of it very frequently. However, what I have been using lately is a contour and bronzer 2-in-1 stick. The darker side is for the shadow and the highlight can be used as bronzer. It works very well although there are very few things regular bronzers can do better, which does not matter to me at all. But having one stick than a few pieces, I would rather choose this one. The color of the highlight side is almost equivalent to my skin tone but in a healthier color, which hardly go overwhelming and still remains easy to apply.
BATTLE OF THE BRONZERS
Calling all pale bitches!!!
Both of these bronzers are some of the best and most hyped of the moment. For me my Irish genetics give me plenty of freckles but definitely not enough of a tan to look alive and healthy. Bronzer has always been a surefire way to add the perfect amount of glow in the right spots to give the illusion of a sun kissed appearance. When I buy a bronzer I look for a few crucial factohhrs like the tone and color of the bronzer, formulation, wear time, ease of application, and overall natural looking appearance. This summer I was on the hunt for that perfect bronze and I picked up these two great options one from the amazing Marc Jacobs beauty and the other a new bronzer from Charlotte Tilbury.
The Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer in the shade 104 Tan-Tastic retails for $49 and gives you .8oz/ 25g of product, while the Charlotte Tilbury Aurbrush Matte bronzer retails for $55 and gives you .56oz/ 16g of product. So right off the bat youāre getting more product for your buck with the Marc Jacobs bronzer, but how do they compare?
Charlotteās bronzer has hydrating Hyaluronic acid infused in the powder for a more hydrated feel, however I donāt really see how thatās practical in a pressed powder and when using the bronzer I didnāt feel any more or less hydrated. Marc Jacobsās bronzer doesnāt have any special ingredients but I donāt think it really makes a big difference. What I care about is how they perform and look on the skin. Iāve found that Charlotteās bronzer has less color pay-off when compared to Marcās. Iād say the pay off on both is light and buildable but I find I donāt have to use as much product with Marcās bronzer, for me this is a plus because I donāt have to spend as much time trying to build up the color. Iāve also noticed that on my skin Charlotteās bronzer has a more patchy appearance, especially if Iām building up the color and I have to add some more in some spots, it doesnāt grab to the skin quite as well as Marcās bronzer which Iāve found gives a more seamless build and blend.
Now for color I personally use the medium shade in both brandās products. Charlotteās bronzer has more of a warm orange tone and Marcās Is a bit cooler and browner. I think Marcās bronzer gives me the warmth I need but also the shape and definition necessary to contour my face while with Charlotteās I need to add contour on top of the bronzer to add definition to the face. In terms of staying power theyāre both pretty equal, I didnāt find I needed to reapply product through the day with either. That being said the overall finish of the Marc Jacobs bronzer was more natural and seamless looking.
In conclusion youāre getting a better product from the Marc Jacobs O!Mega bronzer, in terms of color, finish, price, and amount of product, in my opinion. Both are great but in the battle of the bronzers Marc Jacobs is the winner!
Charlotte Tilbury-Airbrush Matte Bronzer
Say goodbye to hard pan!
#ad #cheriepartner I recently realized that my favorite (and new) Charlotte Tilbury bronzer had developed hard pan. I immediately turned to my google search bar and found a super helpful blog post from Subtl Beauty-I learned what causes hard pan (not washing your brushes often enough or using the same. brush for creams and powders, oops) and more importantly, how to get rid of the dreadful hard pan.
If you donāt know what hard pan is, itās when the surface of a pressed powder product hardens and doesnāt give much color payoff. It usually also darkens in color. Iām using the scotch tape to remove the hardened product, making my bronzer look (and perform) good as new!
This hack worked like a charm! I am so happy I was able to save this bronzer. Not only is it my favorite, itās expensive! š

This is classic for pink lovers! Iām attempting a crossover between the soft girl/ e girl aesthetic and Iām pretty happy with the results! I started with a simple light pink eyeto blend it with a brighter, neon pink and top it with my shiniest glitters. After that I drew a dramatic winged liner to tie everything together but the main focus are lips and cheeks! I put a lot of bright cool toned pink blush on cheeks and nose and then drew a heart on in with concealer. For the lips I used a pink lipstick topped with a gloss to help me diffuse the colour and give some shine.
