TIPS FOR GETTING LONG LASHES (that stay curled!)

Elizabethhhloves
I don’t have naturally long lashes. Or even full looking lashes. But I feel like I’ve found the perfect combo for naturally long and full looking lashes with the combination. Here is what I do! 1) CURL YOUR LASHES. (AND IN 3 PLACES) shu uemura - Eyelash curler
What I mean by curling in 3 places is curling it once at the base of the lashes, once in the middle of the lash-length and once near the tips. This gives a very pretty, soft curl that actually looks like a curled lash compared to a crimped “L-shape” lash that you would get with curling in just one place. I’ve used this same eyelash curler for almost 10 years and it still gives me the BEST curl and actually lasts on my naturally very-straight lashes. (Obviously I have changed the rubber pads every 2-3 years too!) This just helps to fan out the lashes and point them upwards to show the full length. 2) DEFINE THE LASHLINE. DollyWink - Liquid Eyeliner
I don’t necessarily draw on liquid liner every time but I’ll usually dot a few dots along the lash line to add some definition that looks soft from afar. This liquid liner is my holy grail liquid eyeliner because it’s super long-lasting and waterproof! 3) USE A LENGTHENING, DEFINING MASCARA. (waterproof helps too!) MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Curvitude Waterproof Curling Mascara
I love a waterproof mascara because it never smudges or flakes, and it seriously holds a curl! This Maybelline mascara has a really nice curved plastic brush that pushes up the lashes to promote a curl. Probably the most curl-defining mascara I’ve tried in a looong time.

ArtiKCurling is the most important step. I usually keep moving upward from the base to the end, and this will yield twice the result!

ElizabethhhlovesExactly, it makes SUCH a big difference!! I wish I had known this tip earlier- because my lashes used to look crimped instead of curled 😭

Five Tips For Beautiful Brows Now
Five Tips For Beautiful Brows Now
Five Tips For Beautiful Brows •Brows frame the face• The point of your brows is to sit next to each other and balance out your face. So think of your brows as a frame. They don’t need to be mirrors of each other since both sides of your face aren’t perfect. But they should look very close to each other. What you really want to do is balance them to your bone structure. That’s why there are so many guides and tutorials that have you map out the shape to your bones and not eyeball them at 2am in the mirror while wielding a pair of tweezersTWEEZERMAN - Slant Tweezer Stainless Steel . 😉 •Matching hair color• Matching brow color to hair isn’t natural looking or flattering on most people. Most people naturally don’t match brow and hair color, and if they do they might benefit to changing it up! Often a heavy brow just needs a lighter shade of gel or powder on it to lift it up. Asian brows are a perfect example of this. Instead of jet black a charcoal like the JAPONESQUE - Kumadori Dual Ended Brow Pencil will open up the face and make the eyes brighter. While a platinum blonde may need a light brown shade like the jane iredale - Retractable Brow Pencil to give the brow definition and color. To get the right color look at your undertone (warm, neutral, cool) and match to that.  • Everyone looks good with an arched brow• The idea that we should all have a perfect Kardashian brow is 🤣! Do you think everyone would look good in the same swimsuit? The same dress? The “ideal” brow shape is whatever your bone structure, amount of hair, and personal choice works for you. Different nationalities have different ideas of what an “ideal” brow looks like and not all eyebrows are able to support a big arch, a thick front, etc. The beauty industry has guidelines to help you create that good frame for the face, but in the end, what works for you is personal. I like to go the old school way with powder and a straight edge but billion dollar brows - Brow Buddy Kit is pretty cool 😎 and takes any guess work out of the process. •An over plucked eyebrow won’t grow back• Maybe. Growing an eyebrow back mostly takes time. As long as the hairs aren’t actually ☠️ then they can still come back. It can take up to a year for eyebrows to grow back fully and growing in eyebrows is hard! A brow growing solution like REVITALASH COSMETICS - RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner & Serum or Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Growhouse Lash + Brow Serum can really help. They have ingredients that make them grow faster. •Tweeze out wild hairs• OMG don’t do this!! 😱 If you keep ripping out crazy colored or weird curling or whatever hairs they can leave bald spots that may never come back in! Instead use a brow gel jane iredale - PureBrow Brow Gel to hold them in place and train them to stay in place! #cheriecreator

Right now I am obsessed with the Fix X brow gel by Senna and my all time fave brow pencil for me is the ABH Brow Wiz. I like to take the spoolie of the brow wiz and brush up my brows. Sometimes I use a hair spray or a spray wax to kinda hold em up there since they are so baby fine, the slightest babies breath will have them laying right back down in no time. So Fluff em with the spoolie, the brush through with Brow Fix X to help shape and tint my baby brows, and then I go in with the Brow Wiz and create little lines that mimic natural brow hairs and then go back over everything with the spoolie to blend and keep them lookin nice and natural. If there are any bank spots, I go back in with my pencil or you can use a brow shadow and just fill that bad boy right up. VIOLA! I had to give Sarah Feingold’s graphic liner look a try, as I’m learning how to makeup! I love seeing the extent of how far clean beauty can truly go. Canadian, at that! 🇨🇦 Swipe to the 3rd photo to see the products used. In addition to the BITE lip crayon which y’all know I love, I used the True Glue Beauty prime line eyeliner, which has good precision and is waterproof. I love the pink metallic stick. Then I did my brows with Elate’s brow balm, which comes in a reusable bamboo package ♻️ I love it for lasting me forever! Makeup For Transgender Women!
Makeup For Transgender Women!
With my first makeup post coming tomorrow, I figured I would briefly go over some general makeup tips for transgender women! It’s not always easy to find makeup content specifically for us and our concerns so in no particular order, let’s go! Create contour lines more rounded to define face structure. -Especially on the jaw area! This will create less angularity in the face structure, making your face shape appear more traditionally feminine Use orange colour corrector SPARINGLY and only where/if needed. -Especially with fairer/ more pink skin tones, dark/coarse hair will create texture and discolouration. Too much will cause bleeding through your base, and too little will make those blue tones stand out even more. The places to focus on are generally chin, upper neck and jawline. Oil-free products!!! -While biology does not and should not dictate how one lives life, it can dictate what your skin does and how it reacts. Female skin typically contains more subcutaneous fat than male, which makes their skin a lot smoother and supple, male skin typically tends to be oilier due to testosterones ability to make one sweat more often, and their body odour stronger. Oil-free/mattifying foundation is your best bet. If you prefer a more dewy/satin finish, you can use highlighter, setting spray and different setting techniques to not only lock the foundation in, but remove the excess powder! After a period of time on HRT, you will eventually begin developing that subcutaneous fat, and not only your facial structure, but also the way your makeup applies will change! Full-coverage ≠ The ONLY coverage When you have a lot of tones to correct in your face, you can begin to feel like full coverage is the only option you have. Use colour corrector along with a stick concealer over the colour corrector so that you can be more sparing on foundation or just use one that has less coverage, leaving less texture and a super smooth finish. Bold does not mean “feminine” One can become accustomed to overly bold makeup and use it as almost a crutch for pass-ability, but a pretty cherry-red lip, cool pink blush, and mascara with naturally defined eyes can make a HUGE statement by being so... understated. In the words of Jackie Aina; “if you want to wear blue eyeshadow on your tongue, Jesus will still love you!”, but for those of us who don’t have as much skill, or interest in makeup but still want to have a more feminine appearance, they can pick up the basics and look WONDERFUL!! Find a skin care line and NEVER stray! Having a strict skin care routine, that covers all three required steps for washing the face/prepping the skin for makeup is vital in making makeup lay flawlessly. It lays best on skin that has been cleansed, toned, and moisturized. Primer is also HUGE, which brings us to our last and VERY tip! Mix Primers Matte in the T-zone, dewy on the outer perimeter, colour correcting on the neck, make magic!p

Mini eyebrows tutorial✨
Mini eyebrows tutorial✨
👉First off I used the essence gel mascara to se my eye brows. I really enjoy using this clear gel to put my eyebrows in place before I sketch out the lines on my brows. This product is super affordable, and works well. 👉Next step I used the benefit “ Precisely , My Brow Pencil” I used 2 colors. 3.75 for my bottom brows and helped shaped the end of my brows. 3.50 is the next color that I used to shape my upper brows. I gently stroke out my brows for a more natural look. I really like these brow pencil because the color is a perfect match to my brows and I have full control of how strong I want my brows to come out. 👉Third step, I used Tarte shape tape concealer to clean up my brows. This concealer is so high coverage that a little bit of this comes a long way. Sometimes I use this concealer as a foundation and it looks soo good. The shade that is in my brows is light medium. 👉I used the Morphe M432 brush to help clean up the brows. 👉Last step: I used the all nighter powder to set my concealer in place. The powder claim to be waterproof and I have rested that out. It’s true. essence - Lash & Brow Gel Mascara benefit - Precisely My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define tarte - Shape Tape Concealer MORPHE - M432 Flat Liner Definer Brush
