TIPS FOR GETTING LONG LASHES (that stay curled!)
I don’t have naturally long lashes. Or even full looking lashes. But I feel like I’ve found the perfect combo for naturally long and full looking lashes with the combination. Here is what I do! 1) CURL YOUR LASHES. (AND IN 3 PLACES) shu uemura - Eyelash curler
Long lasting eyeliners
ArtiKCurling is the most important step. I usually keep moving upward from the base to the end, and this will yield twice the result!

Makeup For My Graduation Photoshoot!!! 🎓💖✨
First of all, congrats to all my fellow 2020 graduates!!! I recently did a graduation photoshoot with my family and so I wanted to show you the makeup I did for it! I wanted to look like myself but more enhanced and defined. I started with MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer to cover any blemishes on my face. It has a super thick and high coverage formula that lasts all day (it’s literally waterproof!) and is perfect for pinpoint concealing! I skipped foundation because I wanted my makeup to look more skinlike in the photos and not super flat. I then defined my brows with MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil . It’s a great dupe for Anastasia’s brow wix and any other more “expensive” skinny brow pencil. It’s not too pigmented where you accidentally like like you use a sharpie to draw on your brows. It has the perfect in-between pigment and wax so it lasts all day and adds thickness to the brows. I used benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel to set my brows. It’s literally super glue for brows! This is a clear gel that keeps my hairs looking fluffy and combed up all day. I used the bronzer and highlight fromTOM FORD - Soleil Contouring Compact to add some warmth, glow and definition to the face. It has a super smooth powder formula that doesn’t look like makeup once on the skin! It blends in perfectly and seamlessly so it looks just like skin. For blush I used CHANEL - ROUGE COCO Lip Blush in 420 for a warm berry glow on the cheeks. This is a gel like formula that is super cheer but buildable. It also leaves a nice glassy sheen on the skin! To set the concealer and the parts of my face that gets shiny throughout the day, I used rms beauty - "Un" Powder . It makes my skin look satin smooth and doesn’t let any shine come through! It also doesn’t have flashback (if you apply only a sheer layer on the skin). For eyeshadow, I used TOM FORD - Cream and Powder Eye Color in Naked Bronze. It’s a beautiful combination of a creamy, moussey bronze cream shadow and a sheer but super glittery gold powder shadow top coat. It lasts all day and looks suuper flattering! I always get questions on what I have on my eyesqhen I wear it. I used my holy-grail favorite DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner to line my eyes for extra definition. It has a super fine tip for extra precision and the formula is inky black and doesn’t budge at all! For the biggest, baddest lashes, I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara . It adds so much volume and length to my lashes and the waterproof formula makes it stay on all day without any smudging. For the lips, I wanted a shade similar to my natural lip color so I went for COLOURPOP - Ultra Blotted Lip from Pony’s Collaboration in Holly Lolly. It’s a beautiful warm pink!
EXTREME Quarantine Glow-Up✨💖💨 #CheriePartner
I’m gonna be honest- I put on makeup maaaybe 1-2 times per week to go out. Wearing a mask everyday means I focus mainly on only my eye makeup as it’s the only part of me people can see. But it’s always mood-boosting to put on some makeup, fix up my hair and walk around the house with a “full on” look! The picture on the left is me basically on most days. I have all my skincare products on, my SPF and a sheer skin tint like ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 . It’s my favorite skin tint for most days because it’s sheer and adds a little extra SPF. My hair is also a greasy mess because it’s usually in a bun on top of my head. The picture on the right is me with my old “go-to face of makeup”, slightly waved hair and a white linen shirt. I say old “go-to” because it’s not my “normal” look for everyday anymore! I have no place to go! *sigh* This look consists of: ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W A medium coverage concealer that offers a smooth, radiant finish on the skin. HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio A creamy, pigmented and long-wearing set of cream cheek products to bronze, blush and highlight. CHANEL - BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick A high-shine highlight stick that has zero glitter and offers a reflective finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil A super skinny brow pencil with a waxy formula that can draw on hair-like strokes through the brow. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel A whipped brow gel with amazing hold- and super affordable! DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner The best waterproof, extremely pigmented liquid eyeliner that doesn’t smudge, flake or bleed! MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara A high-hold waterproof mascara that keeps your lashes long, volumized and curled all day. Hair: ghd - Rose Gold Platinum+ Styler Set I put a few waves in my hair by bending a section of hair backwards and forwards. This creates a super soft wave effect for naturally volumized hair. Nature Lab. - Perfect Shine Oil Mist This lightweight, shine-boosting oil is a heat-protectant and style finisher all-in one! What is your go-to routine for a “Glow Up”?

Makeup Tools I Can’t Live Without✨#CheriePartner
REAL TECHNIQUES - REAL TECHNIQUES Blush Brush My go-to brush for powder! I know it’s a blush brush but I love that it’s not too dense and is able to pick up the perfect amount of powder (AKA enough to dim any shine but not enough to completely mattify my skin). It’s also super inexpensive and can be found at most drugstores! it Cosmetics - Airbrush Dual-Ended Flawless Complexion Brush #132 My go-to brush for blush! The large side is fluffy, round and not too dense- so it applies a sheer amount of color to my cheeks and has the perfect shape for blending and buffing into the skin! It gives a super soft airbrushed effect to my blush. (I don’t really use the smaller side) NUDESTIX - NUDESTIX Blend & Buff Brush My favorite brush for bronzer/contour! The bigger side is dense and picks up a decent amount of product. The shape also allows it to “blend and buff” (LOL) bronzer into my skin without sheering it out too much into nothing. The smaller side is also perfect for contouring the nose (if that’s your thing) or for blending cream eyeshadow (what I use it for)! it Cosmetics - Airbrush Blending Crease Brush #105 The BEST brush for concealer! I know using a brush to blend in concealer is a bit controversial as I know MANY people prefer a sponge. But this brush literally airbrushes the concealer under my eyes and makes it look like I don’t have under-eye circles at all! shu uemura - Eyelash curler I don’t always curl my lashes but when I want a dramatic, long-lasting curl for every single lash, this is the one I go for! It grabs onto all my lashes and gives it a true curl. My tip is to curl three sections of the lash (once at the root, once in the middle and once at the ends) to create a real full curl like a “C” and not like an “L”.
EASY Kitten Eye 🐱 (Baby Wing) #CheriePartner
I love a winged liner look but sometimes I only want something subtle. A “Kitten Eye” or “Baby Wing” is always my go-to eye look for all kinds of occasions! Especially with everyone wearing masks nowadays, the first thing everyone sees are your eyes and this look is cute, flirty and definitely elongates your eyes! The main difference (to me) between a kitten eye and a cat eye is that a kitten wing is much smaller and and shorter compared to a cat eye winged liner. This kitten wing is only at the outer 1/3 of the eye whereas a cat eye wing would start from the inner corner of the eye and extend even further out! What you need: A liquid eyeliner (or sharpened eye pencil) DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner This Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner is my go-to eyeliner and has been a favorite for almost 8 years!!! I discovered it during my freshman year of high school and has always remained the best of the ones I have tried. It’s extremely long wearing, very waterproof, and high in pigment. I also prefer the brush tip over a felt tip! An eyelash curler shu uemura - Eyelash curler I’ve had this eyelash curler since middle school and have only changed out the pads twice since! It reallys hugs my eye shape and curls every. single. lash! It’s truly the best eyelash curler ever. A mascara MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara I have been LOVING this drugstore mascara! The plastic brush really helps to push up, curl and separate my lashes. It gives a really defined but fluttery effect on my lashes and is probably one of my favorite mascaras ever! How to draw the baby wing: (view 2nd pic!) 1) Using the liquid eyeliner, trace the outer 1/3 of your upper lash line. 2) Draw a thin line out following the direction of your bottom lash line. But not too long. 3) Starting from the outer point of the line your just drew, draw a third line bringing the wing back in. 4) Fill in the triangle! Tada! 5) Curl your lashes and apply mascara! Let me know if you try this out and whether you like it!
Used all drugstore products!

Silly George week 5 update
Intro: This is week 5 of my 6 week silly George lash growth serum challenge. The website claims that you are supposed to see noticeable to dramatic differences by week 6. It’s been hard because I wanted to do this right! Using the serum morning and night on my top and bottom lashes and abstaining from using false lashes, which is if you read my previous posts the whole reason I’m using this product... Week 5 differences: So the main thing I’m noticing about my lashes is that they’re definitely growing. However, I had to stop using the serum on my bottom lashes because they are now the same length if not longer than my top lashes! I’m hoping by stopping it will help my top lashes catch up. Another things I’ve began to notice even since week 2 is that my lashes naturally stand up now as thought they’re crimped. Before they were pretty stubby pointing straight out and now they’re pointed which has been giving me more confidence in them without mascara. They also seem to be less blond so I’m thinking maybe they’re darkening or starting to grow in brown. (If you remember from previous posts the new growth was very blond and hard to get pictures of) Verdict: My verdict still stands! And I obviously really recommend this lash serum! I feel like it started working by week two and now I’m definitely reaping the rewards of my patience. It’s been a hard and long road of avoiding strip lashes (I clearly haven’t learned anything!!) but it’s was definitely worth it. I even got my mom hooked on this too🤣! Feedback: For starters I know I didn’t add a picture of my lashes without mascara to be honest I forgot 😅 and I will upload one soon! I will definitely have one next week on my final week of my challenge. I believe I will continue to use this even after the 6 weeks is up because I am really loving the results! I actually just bought another tube because mine was starting to run out. (So apparently a tube lasts 5 or 6 weeks) let me know below if you have used this product before and liked it! Also if maybe doing monthly updates would be something worth doing? I think it would be pretty cool to document long term growth using this✨

Glossier Boy Brow Dupe- e.l.f. Wow Brow
I am NOT the person to spend money on products if there’s a similar dupe out there! To all my people like me, this is an AMAZING dupe for Glossier’s Boy Brow. It has small fibers that also plump up your eyebrows. I use the deep brown and love it. Thought I’d give it a share. I only paid 4$ for it at Target 😊

How I Do My Eyebrows For My “Heart-Shaped” Face
Finding the ideal brow shape isn't as easy as it sounds. Should you go with a high arch, a bushy undone brow, or a more refined 'drawn on' kind of brow? For me, I try to keep my brows as natural looking as possible. I have a few "holy grail" brow products that I use. But my brow routine is pretty low key. My Brow Journey First off, I'm a 90s baby. And as someone who was a pre-teen in the early 2000s, (you probably know where this is going), I stole my mom's tweezers and went to town on my eyebrows. Luckily they grew back, and I've learned my way around a pair of tweezers and a brow brush. To find my ideal brow shape, I turned to the internet, specifically YouTube, to seek brow advice from the beauty gurus of my time. My Face Shape: From what I understand after taking a Cosmo quiz, I have a "heart-shaped" face. My forehead is wider than my jawline, and my cheekbones are around the same width as my forehead width. Plus, I have a more narrow jawline. My Brow Shape: I have a very soft, angled arch to my brows. I have to pluck my unibrow and a few stray hairs underneath my brow bone, and that's pretty much it. I must say, I do have fairly easy-going brows to maintain. I'd like them to be a little bit thicker, but hey, we can't always get what we want. However, we can always place an order at Sephora.com for more brow products. My brows look pretty similar in most of my photos, want to know why? Because I've barely changed up my brow routine since high school! Sometimes I'll add a bit of filler to give them a more dramatic look, or I will just brush them up and set them with an eyebrow gel.
Keeping my pin straight lashes curled ALL DAY
I've been ~blessed~ with long (but straight) lashes and am ALWAYS on the hunt for new mascaras to help hold a curl. I'm nearly 100% certain that water-proof mascara is the only thing that will do the trick so that's typically what I stick to; although, if you know something I don't pls pls pls send that secret my way. Too Faced's Better Than Sex WP mascara was my go-to for a really long time, but about a year ago I heard that Loreal's Lash Paradise was a comparable dupe so that's what I've been using ever since. That being said, i'm a sucker for trying new products and while I love how this makes me lashes look, I'm looking for any recommendation for WP mascaras that: 1. Resist Clumping 2. Don't over-dry lashes 3. Will not require the soul of my first-born child to be removed L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara
