Make it cream, make me scream
“A deeply hydrating moisturizer with superior plant extracts and pro-grade peptide complex formulated for dry, reactive and sensitive skin” performance | full star | hands down my favorite moisturizer of all time, always my go to year round, whenever I’m trying new treatments, or if my barrier need a little extra support texture | full star | the perfect texture, not greasy, thick but lightweight & creamy scent | full star | tbh it doesn’t really have a scent to me, maybe very slightly the smell of cream but that’s when I literally put my nose inside the jar packaging | full star | loooove the minimal design, the coolest thing is that the verbiage can easily wash off to reuse the jar for whatever ya like, recycleable boxes. Probably one of the most sustainable driven big skincare brand ingredients | .9 star | there’s caramel in here, not sure that’s necessary lol . The reishi/ ashwaganda combo is what really sold me when I first tried this a couple years ago value | .85 star | it is a bit more spendy, but with the $58 price tag I know it’s going to give me the results I want, plus the brand is so environmentally friendly I don’t mind a little extra cost to not have a nother plastic bottle go to the ocean. Total 5.75 out of 6 stars ✨

THE inkey LIST Brighten-i Eye Cream Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Eye Cream THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream What You Need to Know: Cruelty free Fragrance free Vegan Brightenyl ™️ 2% Mica mineral 1% Blurring Technology 5% My Personal Experience: This eye cream for me is just... normal, I guess. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. It doesn’t cause trouble for my eye area but also doesn’t improve it that much. So here’s my situation: I’m 23 and my concerns for eye areas are mainly puffiness and dark circles. Only recently have I begun to notice a bit of fine lines and dynamic lines near my eyes after a day of makeup wearing. Also, even though I don’t have sensitivity issue anywhere else on my face, my eye area is very easily irritated. I can’t use eye creams with caffeine, nor very rich texture. So I really enjoy that it’s a lightweight cream texture and doesn’t overwhelm my eye area. I’ve had one bad reaction to it and that was probably just a random day. Because of the mica mineral in it, it really brightens the under eye area at least in the short term and works super well under makeup. But that’s about it... This is my second tube and still I haven’t noticed much of a long term effect. And I kind of hate the applicator: it’s supposed to glide and give a cooling effect, but I find that it drags and it’s really difficult to control the amount of product that comes out. So instead I usually just squeeze the product onto my ring fingers and use the old fashioned way. And at times, I feel that it’s not as nourishing or moisturizing as I’d love it to be. Even though it works well under makeup because of its illuminating finish, it just isn’t enough hydration. Maybe it’s because of my age, or because I have unrealistic expectations for eye creams, I just haven’t found an eye cream that feels right. Still on the hunt, so what’s your recommendation?
FINALLY RESULTS 🥳
I’ve been working towards my skin for the past 2 years slowly trying out different products trying to find something that works for me. It’s been a long ride but cherie made the process so much quicker. In the past 6 months I’ve seen more results the in the past two years before hand! I used so many products that caused so much damage in my teenage years ( I’m 25 now) I always had acne and blackheads. And though my skin is still healing and I’m working on my dark spots and pores I couldn’t be happier for this community! Thank you everyone! If your curious what my skin care routine is it is MORNING ☀️YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser (I use a konjac sponge when I cleanse) ☀️I make my own apple cider vinegar toner ☀️BOTANICS - Triple Age Renewal Super Serum ☀️The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (this was a game changer) ☀️The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA ☀️BOTANICS - Shine Away Mattifying Day Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 ☀️THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream NIGHT 🌙ORIGINS - Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash (also use with konjac sponge) 🌙use my homemade ACV Toner 🌙Depending what I feel my skin needs that night I switch between these three products ✨The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA ✨THE inkey LIST - Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum ✨THE inkey LIST - Retinol Anti-Aging Serum 🌙the ordinary niacinamide again 🌙the ordinary Natural moisturizing factors If you look at my page you’ll also find the masks I like to use. The Best Serums I’ve Ever Tried 💖✨ so worth it!
In my opinion, serums are what make my skincare so effective. Usually serums contain active ingredients to help resolve and treat any type of concerns. I’ve tried so many serums, and here are my favorites! These are the products that I will forever repurchase because I can’t live without them: THE inkey LIST - Tranexamic Acid Hyperpigmentation Treatment I got a customized serum from The Inkey List when they first arrived at Sephora (in Spring). The main active ingredient in the serum is Tranexamic Acid. It’s an ingredient I’ve only recently started noticing in skincare products and I predict that it will become one of the next “it” ingredients! It first of all helps to calm the skin and restore the skin barrier. It’s also a powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient that also prevents the transfer of pigment in the skin. In other words, this will help to calm any pf my breakouts, and also prevent scarring and discoloration from breakouts. This has done wonders for keeping my skin looking clear even with the breakouts I get around the time of the month, stress, wtc. Even if I get a breakout, the scars fade quickly. SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel This first serum I put on every day and night. This serum is mainly Hyaluronic Acid which helps to plump the skin full of hydration, in turn also reducing the appearance of fine lines and winkles. Putting this serum on as a first step also allows for the products you apply afterwards to penetrate deeper into the skin. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum This serum contains 15% pure Vitamin C, 1% Vitamin E, and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. It’s full of powerful antioxidants and enhanced with ferulic acid to boost the effectiveness of the formula. I wear this every morning after my Hyaluronic Acid Serum and always follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen. I’ve noticed a brighter complexion and acne scars fading quicker. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum Do you ever get little bumps on your skin from congestion that aren’t whiteheads or blackheads? This is the perfect product to try. Glycolic Acid is a powerful exfoliating acid that helps to get rid of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin and deep into the layers of skin too. It’s super effective but quite strong so I would recommend using it only 2-3 times a week. I’ve seen much smoother skin and definitely a decrease in breakouts since using this.
Hyaluronic Acid 💦
It’s a major favourite for dry and oily skinned babes alike! Half of the HA in your body is present in your skin and it binds to water to help retain its moisture levels. Did you know it can hold up to 1000 times it weight in water!? HA, when topically applied, can make the skin more hydrated and supple. It also helps smooth out fine lines while playing nice with all of your other products! Sadly, as we age, our body begins to produce less and less. Some choose to get HA fillers to plump up their skin, and since the body already produces this molecule, it’s a very safe injectable. Below are some of my products that contain HA 👇🏻 🍉GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer 💚SKINCEUTICALS - Phyto Corrective Gel Hydrating Botanical Gel 🍇GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum 💦SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel Do you love HA? Treating and Preventing Hyperpigmentation
When it comes to hyperpigmentation, your SPF is the most important step in your skincare routine. But what else can you be doing to prevent dark spots from forming or heal ones that you are already experiencing? Enter my tried and true hyperpigmentation protocol: Alpha Arbutin, Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, and Retinol. The combination of these products not only heals existing spots, but prevent new ones from forming. Prevent: Vitamin C serum is a powerful antioxidant that not only combats signs of aging, it actually improves the efficacy of SPF. Because of this, Vitamin C should be a key part of your daily morning routine. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum Prevent + Heal: The effects of Vitamin C are also bolstered by the next ingredient in my hyperpigmentation protocol: Alpha Arbutin. AA disrupts the enzymes in our cells that cause melanin production meaning it prevents dark spots from forming when skin is exposed to UV light. When used in conjunction with Vitamin C in your AM routine, this effect is boosted. Your hyperpigmentation will fade as a result of cell turnover without melanin production in new cells. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA But Alpha Arbutin also works well in your PM routine following the use of an AHA exfoliant, which boosts its absorption into the skin for further protection. And that leads me to the next part of the protocol… Heal: Healing hyperpigmentation relies on cell turnover. There are two ingredients that I rely on to achieve this. First is Glycolic acid, an AHA. As mentioned before, following an AHA with Alpha Arbutin will enhance the absorption and effects of the Alpha Arbutin. But Glycolic Acid is also a very effective exfoliant. Because it’s water soluble, it works on the surface of the skin to gently exfoliate while also having a moisturizing effect. L'ORÉAL - Revitalift Derm Intensives 10% Pure Glycolic Acid Serum The second product for healing I rely on is retinol. Like Alpha Arbutin, retinol has the specific ability to disrupt melanin production which makes it another key player in this protocol. But it also boosts collagen production in the skin, contributing to anti-aging. It’s a common misconception that retinol is an exfoliant due to its ability to irritate skin and cause flaking for some people. But retinol is actually a powerful antioxidant and skin restoring ingredient. SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 0.5 Retinol Night Cream It is true that for most people combining and AHA with retinol will cause irritation. I like to alternate using glycolic acid and retinol every other evening with a day off in between. And that’s it! The combination of these products in a consistent routine helped me heal severe hyperpigmentation within a month. In addition to my SPF, it has also prevented new spots from forming while combatting signs of aging.
Freckle Management. Saying ‘goodbye’ to Summer
So, you didn’t wear enough SPF this summer and now you’re dealing with a freckle face or hyperpigmentation. I get it! That’s me in the image above — August with my full freckle face. Then 3 months later in November after diligently working to find a routine to deal with my hyperpigmentation. Finding yourself in the same situation? The question is, where do you go from here.... The best approach to dealing with fading hyperpigmentation is to focus on: Skin brightening, Cell turnover aka exfoliation Starting with brightening and freckle fading, one of the most underrated ingredients is alpha arbutin. This has been the most effective ingredient for me when it comes to fading my freckles after too much sun exposure. AA is extracted from blueberry plants and reduces the skin’s pigment production while also slowing down the effects of UV exposure in causing new pigmentation. The result is it treats and prevents pigmentation. AA is not a bleaching chemical like hydroquinone which is banned in many countries. It gently evens out skin tone, reduces redness, and combats acne scars in addition to evening out freckles and sun spots. AA is most effective when paired with vitamin C serum which has also been shown to combat sun damage. I personally use separate AA and vitamin C serums: The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum ... but the Ordinary also offers a fantastic combo serum: The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% Cell turnover aka exfoliation is another critical part of addressing hyperpigmentation. The best way to encourage this is with a chemical exfoliant such as retinol. My go-to retinol is from SkinCeuticals which offers the best retinol formulation in an OTC product with a luxurious finish. SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 0.5 Retinol Night Cream The combination of AA with retinol treats and prevents hyperpigmentation quickly and gently. Now, be sure to protect going forward with adequate SPF! And don’t forget, freckles aren’t bad or wrong or ugly and people with freckles can choose how much or how little they want to embrace them. If you’re like me and love your freckles but don’t want them to be the absolute focal point of your face, this is a great way to manage them.

MY EXPERIENCE W THE INKEY LIST PRODUCTS
THE inkey LIST - Rosehip Oil Purchased this because I was looking for an oil to help my skin look and feel more hydrated & possibly reduce scarring esp now that it’s getting colder out. Rose hip oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants which are so important for cell regeneration. This product sinks quickly into the skin, doesn’t clog my pores AT ALL, and gives my skin a healthy glow. I use it as a part of my nightly skincare routine in place of a cream moisturizer right now. I’m always hesitant to try new oils as I have sensitive skin and worry they’ll cause me to break out but this oil has done everything I need it to do for my skin. Very happy w this purchase. 5/5 THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum Hyalauronic acid has the capacity to retain large amounts of water giving it the ability to draw moisture into the skin. It is known for helping to reduce fine lines/wrinkles and help with dryness. I honestly purchased it thinking it would help with the overall hydration of my skin. The first time I used it my forehead broke out so much which was an immediate red flag for me-I never break out there. I thought maybe it was a purging phase, so I continued to use it for a few days but my skin got progressively worse. My skin was patchy and red. It had the exact opposite affect on my skin as what it is supposed to. Once I stopped using it my face calmed down right away. My sister had the same exact experience with this, so it’s not just me! Won’t be using it again. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a skincare product in years. Of course everyone’s skin is different so it might work wonders for others. There are so many other products out there to help w hydration & fine lines so I’m not too upset but I was very taken aback by how much it affected my skin.
Are Essential Oils SAFE for your skin?
Essential oils have become very popular not only in the health and wellness world, but also in beauty and skincare. Extracting oils involves harvesting various plants, then taking them through a process of distillation or cold pressing. We use these oils for the natural, uplifting or calming benefits they give us through aromatherapy. It turns out that it may also have positive effects when applied topically, not just through inhalation. ☆How essential oils are used in skincare- When it comes to any essential oil, they absolutely must be diluted before being touched to the skin. The pure form is entirely too strong! Popular ways of dilution include using jojoba oil, almond oil, sunflower oil, or coconut oil. If you are mixing pure essential oils at home, be sure to follow guidelines to ensure no burning or irriation occurs to the skin. Many skincare products include essential oils in the formula, which are already properly diluted and can be used straight on the face. Common essential oils all have various effects to the skin including antibacterial, anti inflammatory, balancing/controlling oil production and increasing hydration. ☆Why you need to be careful Many people with sensitive skin may be hesitant to use products that contain essential oils in their routine. Because of how strong they can be (and the fragrance), it can definitely exacerbate irritation depending on the formulation. Certain oils are also more prone to causing sensitivity than others, like lemon or peppermint. If you have issues with fragrance, then I would avoid essential oils in your routine. However, for sensitive skin, you can try incorporating lavender or frankincense for their calming properties. ☆My favorites There are so many benefits to essential oils that should be recognized as well! Blue tansy is one of my favorites for antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties. It is also widely known to improve breakouts and acne prone skin. ACURE - Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil I also enjoy incorporating jasmine essential oil because of its calming scent, deep hydration, and how it improves elasticity. HERBIVORE - Jasmine Glowing Hydration Body Oil •I recently worked at an Aveda Spa, performing ayurvedic facial treatments. The facial skincare line incorporates many essential oils into the take home products as well as the professional only line. An important step to all Aveda facials was incorporating the aromatherapy ritual, which allows a few drops of an essential oil blend to be mixed with a carrier oil to be used on the skin throughout the facial. There were different lines for all skin types and conditions, which worked to improve the skin while healing the mind and soul through aromatherapy. I learned through this how beneficial essential oils can be for so many people! *exercise caution when trying any fragrant essential oil in your routine, and be sure to speak with a medical professional if you are pregnant.*
SKINCARE LINE-UP: RETINOL NIGHT
It’s retinol night! So these products I have grouped together to give me the best results with retinol and prevent any irritation! Background info: I have combination skin that is sometimes dehydrated. My skin is also very tolerant of active ingredients. SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel My go-to Hyaluronic Acid serum! It’s my favorite hydrating product because the Hyaluronic Acid seriously plumps up the skin and brings hydration to the surface of the skin. I apply a few drops of this on my palms and press into the skin. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum My favorite Vitamin C/antioxidant serum! It brightens the skin, and boosts the performance of my sunscreen so I make sure to incorporate it into my routine every morning! This formula also includes L-ascorbic acid which is a rich antioxidant ingredient that neutralizes free radicals and protects against oxidative stressors, and Ferulic Acid which has similar benefits, enhances antioxidants and stabilizes the Vitamins C & E. SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 0.5 Retinol Night Cream Retinol! This night cream contains 0.5% pure retinol which helps to promote cell turnover, improves the appearance of lines, wrinkles, discoloration and pores, and reduces breakouts! This particular cream is formulated with a Soothing Complex that calms the skin with Bisabolol and Boswellia Serrata Extract which soothes and comforts the skin. I apply two pea-size amounts on my finger tips, rub them together and press into my skin (focusing on problem areas). VINTNER'S DAUGHTER - Active Botanical Serum This is a powerhouse serum full of botanical oils and extracts that really help the skin. There’s a full list of ingredients on their website but this serum basically heals, balances, fights free-radicals with antioxidants, strengthens with ceramides, nourishes with fatty acids and brightens with vitamins to renew, repair, protect and tone skin. Like what else could I ask for?! I use their push/press method to apply! PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster When my skin needs an additional boost I like to mix a tiny bit of this booster into my moisturizer (the next step). Azelaic Acid is amazing for gently exfoliating the skin, unclogging pores and refining skin’s surface. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi To lock in all the active ingredients in my toners and serums, I love this cream from Youth To The People because it feels thick and nourishing. The key ingredients in this cream include Squalane, Ashwagandha, and Fermented Reishi which together helps boost skin hydration, minimizes risk of clogged pores, reduces visible signs of fatigue and detoxifies and combats signs of aging.
PAULA'S CHOICE-10% Azelaic Acid Booster
My quick (aka lazy) AM routine ☀️
This is a super curated, quick skincare routine I’ve been doing lately. After years of testing different products I think I finally have a clear idea of my skin truly thrives on. I have combination, dehydrated skin and I tend to get uneven texture on my cheeks. I’ve found a more minimal approach with the amount of products I use seems to work best for me, these are the products I’m using: COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence This is my favorite essence ever, it leaves my skin looking plump and hydrated, I use this day and night and it seriously lasts forever. CosRx can do no wrong. I have a more detailed review already posted on my feed! PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum I seriously cant recommend this enough, niacinamide is one of my favorite ingredients in skincare and I love this because it’s so good to treat unwanted texture. I kid you not, I noticed a difference in my skin texture and tone in like a week. Its a bit pricey but I would definitely repurchase. GOOD MOLECULES - Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer WOW. This is a new favorite, I absolutely adore this moisturizer! It’s so good, it has many skin loving ingredients and it blurs the appearance of pores but it’s not heavy at all. My makeup wears beautifully over it and it’s only $14! Gifted, but all opinions are my own. SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil I just started using this oil again and I have to say I have a new found love for it, I’m not sure if it’s the mix of this and the Good Molecules primer moisturizer but it is seriously beautiful. It brightens my complexion almost instantly! It’s a great product but a bit pricey so maybe I’ll look for a dupe! And of course I seal it all in with a generous dose of SPF, I’ll make a post of my favorites soon!

Skincare Line-up: Combo Skin Daytime ✨ (simple!)
When it comes to skincare, I probably have the most high-maintenance routines. But on some days, I do like to pare down my routine to just the “essentials”- especially when my skin is looking and feeling pretty good. I feel like this routine just covers all my bases by adding hydration, protection from free radicals with antioxidants, moisturizes, brightens and protects sun damage! 🤩 Background info on my skin: I have combination skin and am definitely acne-prone! My skin is pretty tough so it doesn’t get irritated easily by “harsher” ingredients and actives. THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream Eye cream is one of those things that I have a love/hate relationship with. It’s undecided if I really see a difference as technically my serums and moisturizers should do the same thing- but I recently started using this one from the Inkey List that has brightening properties. I haven’t seen much brightening yet but it has a very lightweight, hydrating formula that I like. SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 One of the greatest sunscreens I’ve ever used. This is super lightweight and feels like nothing when you have it on the skin- it’s the only sunscreen I can get my boyfriend to wear! It has 100% mineral filters that provides UVA/UVB protection and adds a natural glow to the skin.
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE-Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi
some products from the inkey list ⭐️ Beta-hydroxy acid: BHA’s are unique because they can penetrate the dirt and oil in our pores and effectively get rid of it, making them the only thing that can reduce the appearance of pores! The most well-known BHA is salicylic acid, and this formulation contains 2%. It also contains a zinc salt compound that reduces sebum buildup and hyaluronic acid to give moisture! I like using this every night, sometimes every other, and I have actually noticed a big difference in the appearance of my pores! The texture is a runny gel which is a little weird but works out well. It’s my first run-in with salicylic acid, and I give it a 9/10 (points deducted because of packaging- the flip cap top makes it easy to spill too much out 😬) ⭐️ Multi-Biotic moisturizer: contains pro-, pre-, and post-biotics from yogurtene to give your skin all the benefits of yogurt! It also contains brightenyl and squalane to even skin tone and hydrate. Its a lightweight cream and my only beef with it is that it smells just like a burnt english muffin to me. It seriously smells awful, but thankfully the scent goes away once its applied 😅 I have noticed a slight brightening/evening of my skin tone, but I’m not sure if I can attribute it to this cream or my vit C ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ overall this gets a 7/10 ⭐️ Kaolin clay mask: contains kaolin and smectite clay to remove impurities, absorb excess oil, and unclog pores. The kaolin clay in this mask is gentle, so it can be used once or twice a week without irritating or drying out the skin! I haven’t used it yet, so I won’t rate it.

Battle of the Vitamin C’s!
Okay y’all, I’ve been trying to find the perfect Vitamin C to add to my routine and it’s been challenging. Since quarantine started, I’ve tried 3 different options from different brands and I’m here to share my review. I’ll start by saying that I’m not completely sold on any of these as a permanent addition so if you have any favourite Vitamin C’s comment below! I’ll add my reviews from least favourite to most... let’s go ✨ 3. THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Serum 30ml This was my first The Inkey List purchase and while I love the price, I’m not a big fan of this formula. I found the cream (which is marketed as a serum) really thick and does not spread great on the skin. I found I had to use a lot to get the appropriate coverage or hydration that I expect for something with 30% L-Ascorbic acid. Disappointing overall 👎🏽 2. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Pure Vitamin C Face Serum I loved the texture of this serum! It was spreadable but not liquidy. It had a slight tack to it, but played really nicely with my following morning routine steps. I experienced no irritation. 3. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream Another solid option! This was a true light cream texture that I was able to easily apply prior to my moisturizer, sunscreen and any makeup. I experienced no irritation. All that to say, I did find 2 solid options for a Vitamin C product, the only downside to both the La Roche Posay and REN products was the price of the full-size product 💵 I was able to try both of these out with the minis, but it’ll be hard to justify repurchasing the full size. I think the REN sliiiightly edges out the La Roche Posay as a favourite for this review. I do have the full size of The Inkey List tube so I’m using that up before I make a decision! If you have any thoughts of suggestions, let me know below! 💁🏽♀️

Tell Rough Skin to Beet It!
I’m 28 and I decided it was finally time to start adding retinol to my skincare lineup. I settled on Sweet Chef’s Sweet CHEF - Beet + Vitamin A Serum Shot mainly because I wanted to try out the brand, but I’m so glad I did! I’ve been using it for almost two months so I figured it’s finally time to give it a review From sweet chef: “The Beet + Vitamin A Serum Shot smooths skin texture with ... vitamin-rich beet and antioxidant-packed vitamin A to refine pores and help minimize signs of aging. It’s glass skin made easy.” Quick info: 🔺Smell: sort of a clean earthy scent that’s pretty subtle 🔺Texture: thick gel-like serum that’s a pretty pinkish-red 🔺Absorbs quickly 🔺Beets help skin retain moisture and stay soft and smooth 🔺Vitamin A (retinol) works to minimize signs of aging 🔺Gentle enough to use twice daily (I will probably work up to nightly) 🔺 Cost: $20 for 1oz Incorporating it into my routine: -Right now, I use this serum 2x a week at night -I pair it with Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serumfor added hydration and top it off with a generous layer of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi -They recommend pairing it with Sweet CHEF - Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shotfor ‘glass skin’ and I will probably try this now that I’ve had a chance to ease the beet serum in -I’m addition to my face, I pat this onto my neck on the nights I’m using it because I’ve started laying more attention to aging and wrinkles there -for the first several weeks I had some dryness and flaking for a day or two after each use, but have not had any recently -I have not had purging while using this The Results: Ok, I know retinol takes a while to fully work it’s magic, but this is one of the few products I’ve used where I saw a change almost immediately! It evens out my skin tone dramatically, especially on my cheeks - less redness and general unevenness and my skin is soft. After the first several uses, I am not seeing the dryness anymore and this leaves my skin hydrated and soft. My pores look a little smaller and I am so excited to continue using this serum and watch the continued improvements! My verdict: YES!! I love this serum and am so glad I started using it. It’s cheap, gentle, and works well! I highly recommend it! Do you use retinol? What’s your favorite retinol product?
