The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Product claims: An exfoliating solution to help fight visible blemishes and improve the look of skin texture and radiance. Ingredients: 30% AHA blend (glycolic, tartaric, lactic) + 2% BHA (salicylic acid). Skin type: normal, combination and oily. Scent: no scent. Formulation: liquid. Directions: 10 minutes. Price: $7.20 Thoughts: the first time I used it the tingling sensation was intense so I put myself in front of a fan 🥵. My skin looked smooth and luminous for the next two days. This combination of ingredients offers a deep exfoliation that helps clear blemishes, improve luminosity and get rid of dead skin cells to reveal healthy and luminous skin. I generally use this type of exfoliants every 2 weeks, I love the results I get with them, with continued use it helps to control acne breakouts, fine lines, wrinkles and improve the look of skin texture. Concentration levels vary a little, The Ordinary has a higher concentration (higher concentration, more susceptibility to irritation), both have anti-inflammatory ingredients but Drunk Elephant (DE) has a powerful mix of them that doesn’t compare with The Ordinary. DE is much better for dry skin due to its anti-inflammatory ingredients. Both have the same long-term results, so it will depend on how much you want to spend 🤑.
