Cleansers are an essential step in everyone’s skincare routine, but it can be difficult to find the right one for your skin. The new Aveeno Calm + Restore nourishing oat cleanser has been my new go-to daily cleanser and I love it. ❤️🙌 Aveeno has always been a brand to create formulations that target dry and sensitive skin and this cleanser is no different. This cleanser is great for people all skin types but would likely benefit dry or combination skin most. The incorporated oat complex helps restore build the skin’s moisture barrier and soothe itchy skin. There is no stripping effect with this cleanser, which is something too always look for with your cleanser. Other pros about this product are its fragrance free (limiting any irritant reactions) as well as great pricing. On amazon, you can find a bottle for under $10.‼️‼️ TRUTH: If you are trying to fight acne or blackheads I recommend against this cleanser and try finding something with salicylic acid. Have you tried the new Aveeno cleanser? Let me know your thoughts in the comments! ⤵️

{gifted} 🌙 how does this have 12,300 reviews and 9,000 5 stars on Sephora. I was totally blown away by the reviews and really just satisfied by the product. its just a facewash. if you have normal or sensitive skin you might say, hey this is great! it isn’t stripping... but it isn’t that hydrating either, so sorry dry skin. and it ain’t gonna help much with acne or oily skin. i think it is a good makeup removing wash, and that is about it. didn’t blow me away, but i would recommend it to normal skinned folks. 🌙 my skin im very oily and acne prone with tan skin and lots of scarring/discoloration 🌙 the product philosophy - Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser retails for $25 for 8oz 🌙 ingredients meadowfoam seed oil, rosewood oil, coconut alcohol 🌙 did you love this product? let me know! im curious as to why people advocate for it so strongly

My Thoughts on Gentle Skin Cleanser
My Thoughts on Gentle Skin Cleanser
• Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser • I been using the cleanser since late March. I was looking for something that wasn’t going to damage my skin because I’ve damaged it way too much in the past. • I would recommend getting the smaller sized containers because the 8 oz bottle lasted until about now and they are cheap compared to the largest size. • Ever since I purchased the product I’ve noticed a little difference in how my appearance looks. My acne is not as bad on my forehead, my cheeks, and chin. However it doesn’t improve blackhead problems or enlarged pores, that continued to stay the same. • I would like to mention that formula is very basic, so it is not harsh for people with sensitive skin. It personally felt soft on my skin like a watery gel. I will continue to use it until I do more research products more suited for my face. **I do not think that the product would be best for everyone’s face unfortunately** ~This is just the beginning of my skincare journey 😁

Who loves the Citrus fresh sce
Who loves the Citrus fresh scent of Lemons!?!? Do you have oily or combination skin type? 🍋If you do then these products are for you!. . The cleansing wipes are perfect for everyday use of dirt, oil, and makeup removal on your face. They cleaned very well on my face and had the right amount of moisture too them. I love how fresh and bright my skin looked. The lingering scent of lemons was phenomenal after using these. I love them!! . . The cleansing gel is thick, lathers very nicely, removes makeup very easily and leaves a refreshing scent of lemons on your face. My face was slightly red after using this so I may have too give this too my husband as his skin is thicker and less sensitive than mine. . The exfoliating facial pads is perfect for someone who has acne prone skin as it’s loaded with Vitamin C and cleans your skin very well. The texture of the pads has a light grainy feel too them on the skin for a deep exfoliating action. Great for those pesky blackheads and oil build up. I did noticed a strong alcohol smell too the exfoliating pads my face felt great after using them. . . I tend too gravitate and use products that are naturally derived as my skin is slightly on the sensitive side. I do know the Clean & Clear Products are more geared towards the people who have Acne/Oily skin types so this is why these products aren’t suitable for me. The price for each product is under $8 so it’s very affordable and excellent for those with troubled skin. .

Purifying Gel Cleanser - Glo Skin Beauty 💧
Purifying Gel Cleanser - Glo Skin Beauty 💧
This is the cleanser I reach for if I feel like my skin needs that extra push. I’ll use this after my oil cleanser, and since this has active ingredients in it (salicylic acid) I tend to reach for this one if I’m experiencing some breakouts or if i feel like my skin needs some extra TLC. I switch off and on between this and the Hydrating Gel Cleanser from this brand. This purifying gel cleanser rinses away surface debris and impurities, deeply cleansing pores without over drying or stripping oil. It helps preserve skin's natural moisture balance with antioxidants in our purify cleanser to protect and soothe. It also purifies oily skin while leaving it soft and hydrated, so your skin won’t feel tight after washing! It has really helped balance the oils of my skin out, I used to think I had super oily skin but that’s only because I was using the wrong products and not moisturizing that much because I didn’t think I needed it!! But that is completely false. I’ll touch on that more in my next post for you guys ❤️ glo - Purifying Gel Cleanser #cleanser #oilyskin #salicylicacid #CherieCreator

Battling the Pore Purge...
Battling the Pore Purge...
Recently I tried Skin Gritting ( or Oil Pulling for my face… ) I did a bunch of research on what the cause and effect was going to be after I did it and one thing turned out to be oh so very accurate, and that was the two week PORE PURGE! This part is actually pretty terrifying if you tend to battle with oily, or combo skin, have food allergies, or just topical you look at your skin wrong and now you have Mt Vesuvius in the middle of your forehead kind of sensitive skin. So as I did the skin gritting and all sort of things started coming to the surface for TWO WEEKS! I got scared and a million and a half questions were going through my head. Did I do this wrong? Am I reacting to this beautiful oil compilation that the internet has been raving about? Am I just doomed to have the worst skin ever now? I’m a notorious over thinker and sometimes when it comes to my skin, my mind likes to go to the deepest pits of despair before coming back around to find a rational cause and solution. Could be a slightly dramatic sun/moon sign, could be PTSD from my Pizza Face that started in the 5th grade with my over active probably slightly imbalanced hormones. Regardless, needless to say I WAS SPOOKED! My hormones to this day still tend to throw my skin’s ph off balance and I definitely see some (UNINVITED) Guests show up for about a week around my period so I have some products around that help me battle these things as they come up. My FAVORITE of which is the Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser. This cleanser was an absolute ALL STAR in helping treat what gunk my skin was purging post grit. It has always been helpful in managing my hormonal break outs, when I notice my skin getting excessively oily, or the guests starting to appear around that time of month, I pull out the AFC and it helps clear things up before my neurosis has a chance to kick in and I feel the need to attempt physically removing or extracting every imperfection I see. (Which lets face facts in that regard, we all know that is a terrible idea… ) So before you freak about some new guests appearing on your face in the usual or unusual places, if you are experiencing a mild or heavy break out, this is a good product to have in the arsenal. It tends to clear me up within a couple of days. KNOW YOUR INGREDIENTS : Aqua (Water, Eau), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Dimethicone, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carbomer, Parfum (Fragrance), Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Benzoate If you have sensitive skin it is important to know your ingredients if you already know what it is that does not work well for you. This cleanser does have some more intense acne fighting deep cleaning ingredients that can cause drying or irritation if you are sensitive to any of them. Another thing to note about this product is that it is not an “all in one” cleanser, it is best used after you have removed your makeup with a wipe or another form of makeup removal so this cleanser can get down to the nitty gritty of what is causing the breakouts in order to treat it. If you do not remove your makeup before attempting to cleanse with the AFC you will realize in toning that there is still makeup on your skin which might make you want to cleanse AGAIN which could lead to additional drying of areas not troubled, which could then accidentally cause them to be troubled areas, defeating the purpose of the whole process. All in all, I think this product is a fantastic item to have around for every day use if you have severely troubled skin, or to be able to pull out when you need to tackle some stubborn break outs. Dr Sam’s Flawless Cleanser

Th
Dr Sam’s Flawless Cleanser This is probably the simplest & true jelly cleanser I’ve tried. With a clear jelly texture this cleanser is designed for all skin types. It’s especially great for sensitive, acne or redness prone people. It has a pH of 5.0 and it’s meant to cleanse the skin without disrupting the natural barrier. It’s pretty much gentle surfactants, allantoin, aloe powder and vitamin E. It’s fragrance free and gentle yet effective. It never strips or leaves the skin dry. I still prefer an oil to remove my makeup but I really like this as a morning cleanse
