9 month skin transformation (old photo included)
So i just found this app through instagram and i figured i'd share this with you guys. Basically, i've dealt with severe acne & (less severe) eczema for 4 years. I also have very sensitive skin, to the point where just washing my face with Neutrogena Oil Free Face Wash would cause my skin to flare up. Through a LOT of trial and error, i've found the perfect combo of products for my skin. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I apply this along with the hyaluronic acid every morning and night first. It has improved the random discolorations and acne scars for sure! VANICREAM - Moisturizing Skin Cream After all of the Ordinary acids, i apply this. It's super cheap to just buy a big jug of it and it lasts quite a while. Aczone - ACZONE Gel 7.5% At night, (unless there are a significant amount of pimples in which case i also apply this twice a day), I apply this last. It has definitely been the most influential on my acne. I still occasionally am left with patches of pimples, but none are even close to the severity of those i dealt with for years. I hope this is helpful to anyone dealing with skin issues similar to mine!

Hormonal Acne Treatment Carbon Theory
Products I use: AM: 🥞 Step 1: Wash face with Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Break-Out Control Facial Cleansing Bar - Great for hard pimples/ acne that hurt (can’t go ‘pop’ with a cotton bud). - If you are sensitive to tea tree I do not recommend. Step 2: Tone with Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic - This can sting open wounds or burns so be careful. - Has brightened my complexion. (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 3: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - Have not used yet, still making sure I do not have an allergy to the product before I put it on my face! (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 4: Moisturise with Cetaphil - Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 Unscented - I have been using this for years it absorbs well into the skin, and does not flake or go lumpy when your makeup is applied over the top. I love that it has SPF in it, it also doesn’t have a terrible odour. PM: 💤 Step 1: Either damp face with water & apply sukin - Pink Clay Facial Masque Sensitive 100ml - This is OK I haven’t seen any drastic improvement in my skin but will keep using this as I like pink clay, and I will mention if I see any improvements while using this. OR sukin - Pore Refining Facial Scrub Oil Balancing - I have been using this for a while I like how this feels on the skin, it is not a very harsh scrub. It does help to minimise the pores but not drastically. OR AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay (leave face dry and apply mask with Apple Cider Vinegar) - THIS STUFF IS AMAZING this was recommended to me by a makeup artist, and I love it! It does sting and burn on open wounds/cuts, but it is great for pigmentation (which I have lots of issues with) and helps to even out your complexion, it also “pulsates” and “tingles” and I know it’s doing something good! It does feel a bit uncomfortable with the vinegar at times (makes the eyes run) but it dries out and kills any pimples I have. I recommend using an oil straight after to avoid dehydration as this is a harsh but effective treatment. If left on for too long it can make red marks where the product has been on the face which will eventually go away...😅 OR use Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Breakout Control Facial Exfoliating Scrub on already damp face. - I do love using this it feels really refreshing, I believe it to be a harsher scrub so I do not use this regularly 1-2 as it can cause break outs if used everyday. Step 2: Wash face with Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Break-Out Control Facial Cleansing Bar Step 3: Tone with Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 5: the Jojoba company - 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil - For white heads I ‘pop’ with cotton bud and apply tea tree

two week progress!!
hello all! :) i’m new to skincare and have just started my skincare journey about 1 month ago or so. i have combination skin and it’s very acne prone, and afterwards the acne leaves me with dark spots that i can’t get rid of. i’d say sometimes the acne is hormonal as well. here’s my routine: Cleanser - SOAP & GLORY - Face Soap And Clarity Facial Wash✨ this cleanser is really nice and refreshing! at first it might throw you off since it has a very slight cooling sensation to it but it’s nothing too noticeable and you get used to it quickly. it leaves my face feeling very clean and soft and i’ve noticed it helps my breakouts clear out faster. this cleanser says it is suitable for all skin types! Exfoliator - FORMULA 10.0.6 - One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub✨ physical exfoliators generally have a bad rep due to how stripping some of the ingredients can be. this has a nice scent to it that can be noticeable and also has a lot of exfoliating beads. i usually apply this to wet fingertips and create a lather to get it working before actually putting it on my face since putting it directly on my face first feels harsher. less is more with this!! i’d also recommend rubbing in circles gently and slowly, not too fast as it might over-strip and cause irritation. overall, it’s a nice exfoliator to start with and it does leave my face feeling very clean and matte but not squeaky like others do. i have noticed that it does help with my large pores! Toner - BOTANICS - All Bright Cleansing Toner✨ this toner feels very nice and refreshing once you pat it onto your skin or use a cotton pad to swipe across the face. it doesn’t leave your face feeling dry either! it feels super hydrating but not to the point where you feel oily from it. i’ve found that it does help balance out my ph levels, since i’ve noticed that my face doesn’t get as oily as it used to before. however the smell is a little bit weird and can linger for a while but as long as it’s doing its job then it doesn’t bother me. SPF+Moisturizer - CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30✨ this is a moisturizer that also has spf in it which i find super useful since i usually don’t like to take too long with my skincare and this saves me from an extra step in my skincare routine. however i find that it’s more sunscreen than actual moisturizer, so for some people i’d recommend mixing it with a lightweight moisturizer if they find its too drying. it is a bit difficult to blend in as it absorbs pretty quickly so again, i’d recommend mixing. does leave the skin a bit sticky. PM Moisturizer - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin✨ this lotion also works really well as a moisturizer. i use it at night and it’s very good in locking in moisture but also really lightweight! def would recommend for anyone.
