Bye bye Falsies
This mascara transforms my sad, straight lashes! I randomly picked it up at CVS and have since picked up two more just in case they stop making them or the stores shut down lol. With other mascaras, i would need to curl my lashes before applying mascara since my lashes point downward. This mascara instantly lifts and elongates. The more coats you apply, the thicker your lashes become 🙌🏽 I’ve ditched my strip lashes a few times when going out because my natural lashes looked just as good after a few coats of this . Full and Long Lashes - The Perfect Duo
Who doesn’t love full, long fluffy eyelashes?
To me, mascara is one of the most important steps in my makeup routine; it ties the look together in a perfect bow, completing the whole package.
The number one thing I look for in a mascara is the volumizing factor, since my eyelashes are quite fair and not very thick. I can get away with mascaras that offer less in lengthening since my eyelashes are long, just not very defined. I still like to add on some additional length though cuz why not?! :)
The Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara is amazing for adding fluffy volume; it defines the lashes beautifully and gives them a “falsies” look. My sample size is going strong but I will definitely have to purchase a full size soon.
When it comes to the L’Oreal Telescopic, it doesn’t give as much volume, but it is powerful in giving some length. I find that it works better after the first couple uses.
Put these two mascaras together and you have the perfect combo!

Mascara duo for long wear
I am loving my new mascara duo. First I apply the Lancome Cils Booster XL to top and bottom lashes. I am lucky I have quite long lashes but I can get a nice base to help my lashes look fresh while I am at work under bright lights.
I am loving the Mecca Max mascara couple. I first use the thin brush end to seperate my lashes further and stretch their length out. Then I use the thick end to apply heavier mascara.
These two work brilliantly and I find it lasts so well without the need to re-apply during my work shift.
Both retail at reasonable prices too which is even better. If like me you are struggling to find a mascara that feels comfortable and lasts without flaking into little chunks of mascara, give these two a go and let me know what you think!

This is just one of those products I keep talking myself out of re-purchasing because of the price, and then regret when my drugstore purchase inevitably falls short.
I know this is a pretty polarizing mascara (people seem to either absolutely love it or hate it), but for my lashes it just gives me so much length and such a beautiful “fan” effect in just a few strokes. I have naturally pretty long, thin lashes with blonde tips, and this just does the trick. It’s lengthening, gives me volume without ever clumping, gives a bit of lift to lighten the eye, and shapes my lashes beautifully.
If you can get your hands on a sample of URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara I’d highly recommend it, but I’d give the smaller size a shot first! I think this is a great product if it’s compatible with your lashes, but may be hard to work with if not. I’m on my third tube, and it probably won’t be the last!

My killer mascara duo 👊🏼💢
I have pretty long and thick lashes already, but this mascara duo really takes things from 0-100! For some reason I have lashes that absolutely WILL NOT hold a curl, so I always have to buy the waterproof versions of mascaras. That is the only way that they will hold any sort of curl at all. My other secret is that I head up my eyelash curler with a lighter (or hair dryer) beforehand. After curling my lashes, I begin applying Too Faced - Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara to my lashes form root to tip. I feel like this mascara is perfect for thickening lashes, and is much thicker than the Loreal Telescopic. Once I have applied enough of the Better Than Sex, I immediately begin applying L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Waterproof Mascara . I feel like the brush on the Telescopic is perfect for brushing out any clumps from the Better Than Sex. The Telescopic is also amazing for lengthening!! For me, using the two of these together is a perfect combination. Plus, the curl lasts all day long!!! #CheriePartner

Y’all. I have tried MANY MANY brands of mascara and thanks to my favorite beauty guru I have found the perfect match.
If you haven’t heard of Essence Lash Princess Mascara, you HAVE to try it! I purchased mine at Ulta and with this mascara, I don’t even need false lashes.
It does not transfer and dried quickly for a beautiful finish over my subtle golden eye. I would recommend this above better than sex from too faced and it has an amazing price tag.
