the products I have purchased have been amazing, I'm absolutely in love my morning routine now is cleanse with squalaneThe Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser apply TO The Ordinary - Amino Acids + B5 then moisturize with CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream and what I forgot to put in my first post, I finish off with sun bum - Face Lotion SPF 50 before my makeup evening, cleanse again, use the The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution(please don't use if you have sensitive skin) my skin is used to retinoids from previous attempts at fixing my skin, and this product leaves me feeling clean, but sensitive skin can have a very different reaction then I mix together The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5withThe Ordinary - 100% Niacinamide Powder it comes with a little scoop and I use the recommended 1/4 scoop mixed with the hyaluronic acid. then I use the same moisturizer Now let's talk about my thoughts! I love the cleanser, it leaves me smooth, not dry, not right, but I feel super clean like the days dirt is just gone which is fantastic. the purge process has definitely started, but I just use acne patches and the purge so far isn't that bad. mixing the niacinamide with hyaluronic has been fantastic for me! I never liked the niacinamide with zinc, the zinc irritated my skin and I would get these pustules along my jaw bone which haven't made an appearance since I switched, so it was definitely the zinc. the amino acid serum, this one I'm conflicted. it has helped in preventing breakouts while wearing makeup, but it's so watery I would've preferred if it came in a spray bottle for easier application. not sure if I'd repurchase the hyaluronic could probably do what it's been doing to my skin. and the toner! arguably the most controversial of these products. this has helped brighten my skin so far, and my pores look so much smaller! that's probably the hydrating products I've been using, but I also haven't gotten blackheads clogging said pores either so I think it's a bit of both! I'm curious to see how effective this routine will be during my more hormonal days, I will continue to update!

The ordinary haul
so I impulsively got a ton of stuff from the ordinary based on reviews and what several of their online employees have recommended. I gotta save, I've only work the hyaluronic acid for a day and it feels fantastic! I'll be updating in a month-6 weeks to give an accurate update, but I really gotta talk about the hyaluronic acid. I've tried them before and they were just sticky, and didn't feel great, this one is fantastic! my face felt so plush and soft! it was the first thing I tried and it is amazing! posting new results in a short while guys!

The ordinary love✨✨
I cannot express enough my struggles with oily skin and acne. I’ve tried countless skin care products and nothing worked for me. My last try to fix my skin was using K-beauty products as much as I loved their products it just did not work for me. That’s when I tried The ordinary although I was skeptical at first but after seeing the results I was blown away by the change. The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser I begin my day with cleaning my face using this cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. This can also be used as a makeup cleanser and it works as effectively as any other makeup remover. Hylamide - Pore Flush Acne prone skin certainly faces large pore issues and my skin was no different. This product helps reduce your pore size. I spray (or pat) this on my face after using the cleanser and within seconds it gets absorbed in my skin (I absolutely love love love that). The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 It’s my personal opinion to use HA before using Niacinamide as it doesn’t leave your face feeling dry. Hydration is the key to achieve fresh looking soft skin and i achieved it using this product. The Ordinary - 100% Niacinamide Powder I’ve tried the niacinamide +zinc and it’s powder version too and tbh they both work great. Please note this product did not help me with my current acne but helped me control the sebum activity on my skin which in turn did not give me any new breakouts. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I can swear by this product 😍. It doesn’t leave my skin oily, doesn’t give me any breakouts and my skin feels soo smooth. I will 💯 recommend this product to anyone who struggles with oily and acne prone skin. The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque Any nose strip I used to get rid of my blackheads they ended up giving me a very oily t-zone 😓. I use this product once 2 weeks for 10 mins on my face and holy grain, it not only cleans my face but doesn’t leave it feeling dehydrated. ✨I have never overused any product on my skin and hence never faced any sort of dryness on my face. I’d certainly recommend trying these products. It’s a 10/10 for me. I hope this helps you and do let me know your experience with this brand 💜

How to use Ascorbic Acid POWDER + my AM routine
Vitamin C will forever be part of my morning routine, because the 'before and afters' don't lie!! I experimented with a number of AM routines and different vit C serums from The Ordinary before landing on their The Ordinary - 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder Ascorbic Acid is pure vitamin C in its most potent, and also the most unstable form. It is incredibly difficult to formulate serums with L-Ascorbic Acid, which is why TO offers it in a powder form to slow/prevent its oxidation. You are meant to mix it with a liquid only as you need it. Don't worry, it dissolves in water based serums almost instantly and does not feel gritty! My "before" photo is from a little over a month ago, and my "after" was taken today (Nov 20) after using the ascorbic acid powder daily for 1 month! Both taken in the same room, same lighting, zero makeup. In addition to improving texture and decreasing breakouts, the difference it made in my pigmentation and skin tone is incredible! This is my AM routine and directions on how to properly use a pure powdered form of Ascorbic Acid. After cleansing, I add 1/2 a scoop of The Ordinary - 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder into my palm (start with only 1/4 of the supplied scoop until your skin adjusts). Then I add 2 drops of The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5and 2 drops of The Ordinary - Amino Acids + B5. You're aiming for about a 20% concentration of vit C. Mix with a finger until the powder is fully dissolved then apply evenly over face and neck, avoiding eye area. It is advised to use additional antioxidants with vitamin C in order to minimize oxidation and increase its effectiveness. Therefore I immediately follow up with 2 or 3 drops of The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% I then apply an oil to moisturize. I currently use about 3 drops ofThe Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil and sometimes mix with a couple drops of The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalaneif I need a moisture boost. (Feel free to use any moisturizer that you prefer, as long as it doesn't contain actives that conflict with Ascorbic acid.) The last step is always, always, always sunscreen! I use thinksport - Everyday Face Sunscreenspf 30 which I tint to match my own skin tone (see my previous diy post for this). Then proceed with makeup (or not). Some additional notes: Keep powder closed, away from sunlight, and DRY. Don't even open it in a humid bathroom after a shower! If it oxidizes, toss it immediately. It mixes most easily in water based serums, but can be added to other serum or moisturizer which it does not conflict with (consult TO's regimen guide). Mix only what you need per application, don't pre-mix a batch. And start out slowly since it does tingle/sting a bit. I hope this is helpful, but don't hesitate to ask me if you have additional questions. Thanks for reading!

Brands I love ❤️
For Valentine's day I figure I'd make a post about brands I LOVE and highly recomend! Paula’s choice I know I do not own many of her products and I think it’s because I want to try other brands as I explore the vast skincare world. I already know this one is trustworthy in my book. They not only have a great resource with their ingredient dictionary, but they use that knowledge and transparency to formulate great products. Even the negative reviews on this brand that I've seen still say they formulate very well. They are slightly on the pricey side (expect about $40 or more), but you cannot go wrong. I love their PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator especially and have used their PAULA'S CHOICE - Defense Nightly Reconditioning Moisturizer Krave Beauty They don’t carry a lot of products in their brand, but like a fine dining restaurant with a small menu, what they make is their specialty. Their products are reasonably priced and they focus on non-irritating effective ingredients to help your skin barrier. I currently have their Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and their Krave - Great Barrier Relief Inkey List I love this brand and that they are making simple products with usually only once active and that allows people to try them to see how it effects their skin for a reasonable price. I currently have their rosehip oil because I didn’t know how my skin would react to it, but it’s known for hydrating and evening skin tone. I currently use their THE inkey LIST - Rosehip Oil Cosrx Another good brand that formulates well while still being very reasonably priced. I love their COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence CeraVe A tried and true brand. There is a reason why dermatologists recommend this. CeraVe is formulated with non irritating ingredients, that may make them seem “boring” by not being packed with actives, but effective. I have a few of their products. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream and CeraVe - Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum

Only 3 months left on Roaccutane
Dermatologist appointment went well on Tuesday. She dropped me down to 10mg a day and said May will be my last month on Roaccutane! She said because my skin is so clear I could stop now, but I’d rather stick to the 12 month plan my GP suggested. I’ve been lucky not to get crazy side effects, and while there is still a chance of acne coming back I trust my derm’s plans for after stopping the medication. I’ll be getting prescribed a tretinoin moisturiser, and by November/December we will start laser treatment to help smooth out the deep scarring and hyperpigmentation. Also can’t wait to continue my tattoo journey once my skin is back to normal, I think that’s been the only truly hard part of this journey 😂 Simple - Hydrating Cleansing Oil Simple - Kind to Skin Moisturizing Facial Wash CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer

😊Why I multi-mask 😊
First let me say, not all areas of your face need the same type of care, and attention. For me, my chin has broke out bad this week thanks to Aunt Flo. Anyway I needed a detox for my chin, while the rest of my face didn’t really need much, but I have dark spots I’m targeting with The Ordinary chemical peel. If I felt like my T-zone was oily or a little dry, I would have used 3 masks. The key is to listen to your skin! Normally I’d just use one mask, but my chin really needed something targeted for detox. Since I don’t have sensitive skin I left them on for 10 minutes before washing off. If you have sensitive skin use for 5 minutes, and always so a small patch test to make sure you won’t react. Also they make an acid neutralizer, that would be handy to have as a just Incase. Second, I use a calming face serum after. It really helps with any redness that might occurs from the masks (mind you redness is normal, just make sure that you use sunscreen because your skin will be more sensitive to sun) then i follow up with a vitamin C serum then I finish off with sunscreen. When I do a mask like this I really try to keep the after care simple, yet replenishing, and protecting. These are the products I used and why I choose them. First I wash, I double cleansed this time. I used youthificarion face wash, then the CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser I chose the youthification, simply because of the ingredients, all organic and it really helps my skin. Then I chose the cerave because it’s such a gentle cleanser for me and with the ingredients targeted for acne I’ll take all the help I can get. I used AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay on my chin and the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and I explained why above 😊 I finished with the youthification night serum for the calming properties of the ingredients. And the OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum and I use vitamin c because it helps even skin tone and brightens skin. Then I finished with the sun bum - Face Lotion SPF 50 I chose this sunscreen because it’s chemical, Not mineral. In short mineral sunscreen leaves the white cast on your face while the chemical sunscreen absorbs into your skin. And it pairs best with my products, I don’t get the pilling like I did with mineral sunscreen. (Pilling is when your products sort of roll into balls and off your skin.) If interested this is where I order my youthification products: https://youthificationskincare.com/

Morning routine updated
Ok I’ve made a few changes to my routine and sometimes I keep switching a few things in and out depending on the day.... I start with The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution which I love. I think glycolic acid is an important ingredient to have in your routine for oily skin and wrinkles and even acne too. I always use insta natural - Zinc Vitamin C Serum but I go between also using insta natural - Age Defying & Skin Clearing Serum which I love for acne, insta natural - Dark Spot Corrector I don’t notice a huge difference with this but it has great ingredients or insta natural - Skin Brightening Serum, Anti-Aging that has alpha arbutin to help brighten dark spots or hyperpigmentation. So I alternate with those! Love using COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence to have a dewy glow and helps with skin texture and pigmentation issues I’ve recently added The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to help with acne and oily skin and love it too. I top with a thin layer of Clindamycin gel and then moisturizer which I alternate also between a few different ones. BEEKMAN 1802 - Bloom Cream Daily Probiotic Moisturizer has great ingredients but a funky old woman smell I do not like, thank goodness I only have a sample size.... Honest has a great soothing moisturizer I’ve tried and also ARBONNE has a great calming moisturizer as well as a lightweight jelly moisturizer I go between. Then I do a few drops of The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% and I’m done. I usually let it sit for awhile or at least a good 5 minutes while I do my eye makeup and eyeliner before I use any face makeup but I love the texture of my skin so far using this all together.

Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines pt. 3
Hey y’all! Today’s post is part 3 of 4 of my Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines series. In today’s post we’re covering @geralorentas and @robynkenner ! Starting with @geralorentas. She starts out by cleansing with theCeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser which costs $13 for 8 fl oz. This cleanser has super gentle exfoliating agents, as well as glycerin and Hylaronic acid which are very hydrating. Next she uses theRENÉE ROULEAU - Rapid Response Detox Toner which costs $41 for 6 fl oz. This toner, as far as toners go, is pretty good. Its main draws are Salicylic acid and Lactic acid which are great for dealing with acne. Next she uses theSKIN GRAMMAR - Super Good Repair Essence which costs $38 for 5.7 fl oz. This essence has Nicinamide and glycerin, as well as a ton of ceramides. Unfortunately it has orange peel oil. Citrus oils a extracts are extremely irritating to the skin because they are acidic, so I have to say no to this essence. Next she uses the RENÉE ROULEAU - Vitamin C&E Treatment which costs $69 for 1 fl oz. It has glycerin, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C, but again it has citrus oils and extracts which make this another no for me. Then to moisturize she goes in with the#Dr. zenovia - Peptide + Ceramide Moisturizer[products]#[FourStars] which costs $79 for 1.7 fl oz. This moisturizer has ceramides and glycerin. Finally she goes in with theLA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Anti-shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ which I couldn’t find the price for. It’s a really good basic sunscreen. So that’s @geralorentas routine. For her I would recommend getting rid of the essence and the treatment, but otherwise the products seem great! Moving on to @robynkenner. She starts with a double cleanse, and we’ll talk in a minute about what she’s doing wrong. She starts with the The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser which costs $7.90 for 1 fl oz. The main ingredients in this are squalane and glycerin. A lot of people complain that this cleanser is so gentle is barely cleans, but it seems to work for @robynkenner. Then she uses theMurad - Clarifying Cleanser which costs $32 for 6.75 fl oz. The main draw for this product is Salicylic acid, but again it’s a no because of citrus oils and extracts as well as fragrance. Now I mentioned that she’s double cleansing wrong. Double cleansing isn’t just using 2 cleansers, it’s specifically using an oil based cleanser and then a water based cleanser. (Check out my post on double cleansing for more information) In this case, @robynkenner is using 2 water based cleansers which can be stripping to the skin, and isn’t considered double cleansing. She mentioned she started doing this because her skin didn’t feel clean with just the first cleanse, and I think this might be because the Squalane Cleanser is too gentle. Next she uses theNeutrogena - Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream which costs $25 for .5 fl oz. First off, eye cream should be at the end of a routine. The eye cream itself is great though. Next she usesThe Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution which costs $8.70 for 8 fl oz. I talked about this product in pt. 1, but in short it’s really good. And finally she uses the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream which costs $36 for 6 fl oz. This is a nice super thick basic moisturizer. So in conclusion @robynkenner, I’d try to find a new cleanser, then just add your eye cream after moisturizer instead of early in the routine. That’s all for pt. 3! Please cheer for this post if you liked it, comment below your favorite cleansers to help out @robynkenner, and follow me to join the family and for similar content. -Mae

The Best Advice For Choosing Skincare Products
Hey Beauty’s 🙋🏽‍♀️ So I’ve recommended a lot of products and thought I’d share some advice on how how I select skincare products these days. ☺️ Thanks to @babesandbeauty on Instagram for the advice. Products that you consistently use I noticed that I consistently use TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum which has Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E as my day Serum. I also have The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 for my night routine. I’ve started using Truskin’s Super Serum at night and now alternate between using a natural Retinol or Vitamin A Moisturiser and the Truskin Super Serum which has Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Retinol. I now can’t live without my FORMULA 10.0.6 - Rise of the Foam Blemish Busting Cleanser I use this because of the salicylic acid and hemp oil as part of my double cleansing routine. I’m currently trialing products for my first cleanse. 😄 I noticed the ingredients are ideal for my issues which are rough texture, larger than average pores, dullness and my wrinkles and fine lines. For reducing the appearance of my fine lines and wrinkles I ❤️ hyaluronic acid!!!! Products that are ideal for your skin type I’m a little lucky in the fact that I have combination skin and can use a range of products for my issues. Treating the wrong skin type can lead to irritated skin, breakouts and premature aging. Choosing the correct skin care routine for your skin type is essential for making your skin appear youthful and healthy. Products that do not cause irritation to your skin barrier Our skin is the largest barrier against infection that we have. Keeping our skin healthy and moist helps keep this barrier strong. Using the proper skin care products for your skin type can help preserve this important protective layer. ☺️ Products that fit your budget and life The Ordinary creators have totally changed how we think about and buy skin care. Its allowed us to understand ingredients and offered them in ridiculously cheap formulas. It’s championed transparency in an industry that wants you to think expensive products are better. Nothing costs more than $20. In fact, the majority of it ranges at less than $10. This is largely in part thanks to The Ordinary's dedication to transparency, resulting in prices that aren't significantly marked up. Although if you can afford to spend $150 I’d recommend purchasing a Serum rather than a cleanser or moisturiser. Drop me a line about what you consider when you purchase skincare products. Is it the beautiful packaging, ingredient list or that you just saw a review and want to try it. ☺️ Have a wonderful day or evening Jade 🥂

When hydration is needed 💦
I am a dry skinned girl so I am always on the look out for hydrators and moisturizers. This is especially the case as I like to use actives in my routine and they can further dry out my skin. Hyaluronic acid is one of my go to ingredients as it draws moisture into my skin and it works well with other ingredients. The ordinary offers this serum which is great as it is super affordable and it works well with my skin. What is it: This is a hyaluronic acid serum with 3 different weighted molecules so that it can penetrate and hydrate different layers if the skin. Hyaluronic acids is a humectant meaning it absorbs moisture from the air and draws it into the skin. This serum also has b5 which helps nourish and soften the skin. Texture: This is a goopy and cloudy serum that is easily absorbed into my dry skin. Price: This sells at Sephora for $6.80 cad for 1 oz or $12.20 cad for 2oz How I use this: I use this along with my steamer to make sure that the air is moisture rich in order to draw moisture to my skin. This ensures I get the best result. Pros 👍: affordable 2 sizes available accessible effective cruelty free 🐰 Cons 👎: some people don’t like the texture you shouldn’t over use hyaluronic acid (check other products) The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 this is a super simple serum that has really helped my dry skin

🖤⭐️ Empties and Replacements ⭐️🖤
Hey, friends! Here are two more empties and their replacements! I got HERBIVORE - Bamboo Charcoal Detoxifying Soap Bar at the beginning of December because I was looking for a body soap that would help with my back acne. At first, I only used this bar on my back (shoulders) and chest because those are my most problematic spots. I started seeing results around 1 week after consistent use. On the days when I felt lazy and didn’t want to use two bar soaps I would use this one all over and I started to realize it was helping reduce the redness and bumps on my upper arms. I never knew what caused the bumps and redness but I know it runs in my family (my mom always told me it was eczema). But this bar soap seemed to help a lot, so I expanded and started using it all over my body. It’s really worked wonders and kept the acne away from my body. Very impressed with this product AND I feel less wasteful because it’s a bar soap and comes in a cardboard container (No Plastic!). The only bad thing I would say would be that it didn’t last me as long as I would have liked for the price, but I repurchased because I’m hoping to get rid of the redness on my arms completely! Next I have The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser which I’ve talked about before. Love this as a first wash during a double cleanse at night (removes all my makeup and keeps my skin feeling clean without stripping it). It’s super cheap and I love this brand however again the only problem would be that this small bottle doesn’t last very long (maybe lasted me a month) but the bigger bottle is all sold out everywhere I look! I guess a lot of people agree with me on this cleanser. Hopefully next replacement can be a bigger bottle! 🙏🏻 What products are you getting through quickly and repurchasing?? Let me know in the comments! 👂🏻✍🏻 Love to all! 🖤

1 week update
thanks to all lovely beauties out there to take their time and add a comment on my last post. I was devastated by breakout, i was having from last 2-3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. Well i guess too many exfoliants was making my skin too sensitive so now i am back to basics. I have started what i was doing in the beginning and that seems to be working just fine. I think i was selfish to have a great skin in no time 🥴. If someone is just curious what i am doing right now then lets go to products. AM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control it has tree oil which is good for acne prone skin The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ as i have sensitive and oily skin this makes my face matte and oil free. I really like this one for oily skin or combination skin PM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on spots and acne 2-3 times a week) The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA (once a week) The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (once a week) The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque (once a week) The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane tea tree oil only on spots Even if i have listed so many items i feel i have very basic skin care routine as most of the products are being used weekly or only 2-3 times a week. But in the end this routine is working out for me and i am seeing good progress which makes me happy. Again thanks to all who suggested me before ❤️❤️

Routine Review and Progress!
Routine Review and Progress!
Hi y’all! So I’ve been suffering from adult acne for a couple of years now and I am finally starting to learn more about my skin type and how to properly take care of it. I’ve recently discovered my YouTube lifesavers Cassandra, Hyram, and James Welsh and I’ve learned a ton from them. But I wanted to post here and get feedback from you all, and just share it in case anyone has similar problems to what I’ve had! I have combo but more dry, acne prone skin btw AM: CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser I just recently started using this cleanser and use it in the morning and at night. Because my skin is on the drier side I’m thinking of buying CeraVe’s Hydrating Facial cleanser for the mornings and saving this one for the PM. That aside, I think this cleanser has been super helpful in reducing pore size and containing breakouts CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin This works well for my drier skin type, but can sometimes feel tacky and like it’s not absorbing into my skin. Neutrogena - Sheer Zinc Face Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 or CeraVe - Face Sheer Tint Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 30 PM: CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution When I originally bought this I had also gotten a bunch of other products from TO and overloaded my face so I didn’t really react well to it. I just recently reincorporated it into my routine and use it 2-3x a week. The morning after I use this I always see a big difference in my pores and texture. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Hopped on this train and so happy I did. I use this once a week or once every two weeks and think that it leaves my skin feeling renewed and my scars faded. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion This is my favorite thing in the world and has helped fade my acne scars so much! I use this 2x a week because it can be pretty intense but I’ve been so happy with the results so far! CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Products on the way: The Ordinary - 100% Niacinamide Powder Reacted kind of poorly to their serum because I think the zinc was irritating my skin. I want to love niacinamide and get its benefits so hoping this works for me. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Have high hopes for this! The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I was using TO’s squalane oil but think it’s been breaking me out a bit so I thought I would change it up! Looking for a cleansing balm or oil in case I need to double cleanse! I would love to hear your thoughts!!

Morning Skin Care Routine
Morning Skin Care Routine
CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin This hydrating facial cleanser is a MUST in your skincare routine! with 3 ceramides and hyaluronic acid, it’s gentle enough to use on the face. unlike the Cerave foaming facial cleanser, the hydrating cleanser doesn’t strip your skin of the essential oils it needs, but hydrates. the consistency of this cleanser feels water based and goes onto the face feeling very hydrating. I usually leave the cleanser on my face for about 1 min and then rinse with lukewarm water. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Smoothing Gel Exfoliator 150ml This hydro boost exfoliator has given my skin new perceptions. This exfoliator has helped my acne scars and textured skin to become very minimal. The consistency of this exfoliator is gel like with micro beads to help the exfoliating process. this product is gentle enough to wear it doesn’t leave micro tears in your skin, but I can still feel the beads exfoliating! I usually place a pea size ( a little goes a long way) in my hand and rub it together to create more product to place on my face. I rub the product into my face for about 30 seconds and let it set for the other 30 seconds, then rinse with luke warm water. I use the exfoliator about 2-3 times a week. DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum I have just recently started using the Derma-E vitamin C concentrated serum, but by the looks of it, I think it has really brightened up my skin. I use about 2 pumps of the product every morning and apply evenly to my face ( it smells like fruit loops!). Don’t forget to apply sunscreen before going out! COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid I have struggled with black heads, especially on my nose, my entire life. I tried pretty much ANYTHING (even pore strips; yuk!) to try and remove my blackheads. I came across this product on my favorite estheticians page and decided to try it out. I was amazed after just a couple days of using that my nose looked as clear as the rest of my skin! it’s recommended to use 1-2 a week, but I use it every day. I apply with a cotton round pad to the areas affected (usually just my nose) and let it sit and continue my skin care routine after it dries! CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Not much has to be said about this moisturizing lotion because it simply is the best! my heart will always go with Cerave products and this is the best lotion I have found for my face! I apply it evenly on my face and neck once in the morning and once at night.

Birth Control Rebound Skin Savers
Birth Control Rebound Skin Savers
I resent it quit my birth control (the kyleena IUD) and my skin freaked out. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures but I started breaking out in hormonal acne and little bumps all over my chin and forehead. And here’s the routine that helped support my skin CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this product morning and night to gently cleanse. I’d like to give this more stars but I’ve only been using it for about a month and I’m still not COMPLETELY converted. I love how hydrating and gentle it feels on the skin, it doesn’t damage my skins moisture barrier and I never feel stripped and tight after cleansing. However it doesn’t seem like it would work very well to remove an oil cleanser and additionally I feel like I need to cleanse longer when my skin is oily but since I mostly break out due to dryness I like it. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin A classic holy grail for a reason. It’s super moisturizing, skin barrier friendly, doesn’t break me out and is just all around a great product. I use this morning and night The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this every 2-3 days at night time to exfoliate. It helps get rid of texture and dark spots and works very well, however; it causes a bit of a tingling/stinging sensation since my skin is super sensitive but it goes away within a minute. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Combats sensitivity, and inflammation and helps sooth redness which is amazing for healing breakouts. I will say I’m sure it’s doing it’s job but you won’t see any drastic overnight differences COSRX - Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion The BHA and centella asiatica extract in this are an amazing combination for any acne or blackheads. This changed the appearance of the bumps on my forehead and chin overnight. It’s super gentle and feels great on the skin. This is one of my favourite products COSRX - Master Patch Combo Just like the BHA toner this product is amazing especially because I have the awful habit of picking my skin. These draw out all the hung and impurities and blend into the skin so much better than I thought they would. They also have a bit of a blueing effect on the spot so it hides the angry redness and they are even great for day wear. These get rid on any problem spots practically over night. Kiehl's - Super Fluid Daily UV Defense SPF 50+ Sunscreen is nonnegotiable for me especially because I’m so prone to dark spots. This one is super lightweight and doesn’t smell like sunscreen which is great but I think it’s a little over priced. It’s still a great product though FOREO - LUNA mini 2 This cleansing brush is amazing. I’ve been using it for 4 years and It helps clean out your pores and leaves your looking super dewy and fresh

Skincare treatments for oily skin
Skincare treatments for oily skin
These are the treatments I currently use to treat my oily (congested) acne-prone skin. My current cleansers are not featured in this picture nor listed, although I am rotating between Ceravé’s SA cleanser and their gentle foaming cleanser (can you tell i’m a huge fan of Ceravé?) CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I rated this highly as a little goes a long way for my oily skin type. It is listed for normal to dry skintypes although I found this product to moisturize perfectly for me without creating a heavy feeling throughout the day. It is also formulated with hyaluronic acid (a great humectant) as well as non irritating cerimides. To top it all off it contains no fragrance which is very important as I have sensitive skin 🥰. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I love this toner as an occasional (3x/week or so) exfoliant. Its gentle yet makes your skin feel extra clean when used after a cleanser with an AHA or BHA which is great for those with clogged pores. A great product to use on those exfoliation nights. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% My absolute favourite product. I have emptied and re-ordered this bottle many times (not to say a little doesn’t go a long way with this serum). This formulation is absolutely amazing for several skin concerns but it’s main target(s) is reducing oil production and calming irritation in the skin which I have both seen in just one use.

My Quarantine Skin Transformation
My Quarantine Skin Transformation
The first picture was taken March 20 and the second was just yesterday. I’m honestly shook to be honest. My skin was scaley and dry. I had no routine. I had lost all of my skincare stuff and was washing my face with water and would use rosehip oil to moisturize. Then I used the MARIO BADESCU - Peptide Renewal Serumand my skin WENT CRAZY. Bumps EVERYWHERE. Skin going insane. My skin has never looked like this. Then I finally got some money to buy some skincare stuff and this is what I’ve got: Oil Cleanser : KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil- I don’t know if this is working yet. It takes off makeup. I’m terrified of oil on my face but it’s not done bad yet. I did break out a little bit after I started using it but it could be purging. I use this every night and morning for 60 seconds on dry skin. Foaming Cleanser: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin- I like this. It’s not drying I feel clean and my face feels good after wards. I use this right after oil cleansing. Toner: THAYERS - Witch Hazel AstringentI use this one in Aloe. OK SO I KNOWWW THAT PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS. But it really changed my face. Before using it, my face was really bumpy even thought I was cleaning and moisturizing and exfoliating but this really soothed my skin and made everything go on better. I use this around my neck area too because it’s dark. Exfloliator: Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin PerfectorThis helped my skin like get rid of bumps and dryness but it also makes my skin red which I don’t like. But for now Im using it. I would recommend this to start off your exfoliating journey. MOISTURIZER: Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face CreamI like this. It saved my dry skin it really hydrates and it’s not annoying. When you use it after the solution it does burn a bit. Just a warning but i really like this. SPF: Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily SunscreenAnother glossier product. This isn’t sponsored I just did a big order. This is nice it’s a gel consistency which i genuinely love. And it’s been helping my dark spots according to cherie hehe ANYWAYS my skin is doing a LOT better but there are still problems with it. I have pimples. LOTS of blackheads. large pores. Hopefully with time I can correct those. Anyways till next time 😜
