Adorable hair care brand that I approve!
Daniawiththegoodhair
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with this line. It’s affordable with gentle and nourishing ingredients for your hair. They have products that tackle scalp care specifically. This all speaks to me!!
The two products that have naturally been incorporated into my routine is the THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment

AlyzehI love your hair videos so much. I watch it on repeat on tik tok and here. Which oils would you recommend to get thicker hair? Or does any oil consistently applying work? Also, I see you use the Vegamour hair growth serum , does that help with thickness and growth ? And is it all natural ? Thank you as always Dania xxx

DaniawiththegoodhairThank you so much!! ♥️ honestly any that you apply consistently but specially an oil that you get or combine yourself that has rosemary essential oil and ashwaganda. Those are great for stimulating the scalp. But I would say the consistency is what is important!

I am a huge skincare lover and love to try out ingredients and brands. Check out my collection and my favourite brands and products.
Favourite brands:
Versed: this is a brand that I have tried many products and they have worked well for me. This is a drug store brand that is mid range. It is cruelty free and eco conscience, going so far as to state the percentage of usage of recycled material and having recycling instructions on their website. My holy grails are VERSED - PHOTOS, PLEASE BRIGHTENING TIGHTENING MASK and VERSED - Doctor's Visit
The ordinary: this is a great brand as it is super affordable and it’s cruelty free. The way I like to benefit from this brand is to try out ingredients to see what works for my skin, their serums are my favourite. My holy grail is The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1%
The Inkey lists: this brand is similar to the ordinary but I think some of their formulas are better. They focus on ingredients that allow me to find the best ingredients for my skin, they are also cruelty free. My holy grail isTHE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum
Cosrx:this brand was my introduction to K-beauty and they are very accessible through Amazon ( also cruelty free). They focus on the primary ingredient that is either natural or chemical. My holy grails are
COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and #Cosrx - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule[products]#[FiveStars]
Brands with 1-2 favourite products:
First aid beauty: this brand focuses on healing the skin with the incorporation of oats which are amazing. My holy grail isFIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration
Glossier: this is a brand started by a beauty editor and are all very aesthetically pleasing and gentle on the skin (cruelty free). My holy grail is Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser
Paula’s Choice: this is a great brand that is science driven (cruelty free). My holy grail isPAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50
Pyunkang Yul: this is a K-beauty brand that started in a medical clinic and focus on short ingredient lists. My holy grail isPyunkang Yul - Essence Toner
Pixi: this is an English brand that has lots of products and lines to target different issues (cruelty free). My holy grail is pixi - Hydrating Milky Mist
The body shop: the body shop is a very established brand that has tons of products (cruelty free), I love their masks in particular. My holy grail isTHE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Face Mask
Niod: this brand has the same parent company as the ordinary but it is the more expensive and technologically advanced. I love that they are pushing the bounds of skincare (cruelty free). My holy grail is NIOD - Modulating Glucosides

Don’t forget to exfoliate your scalp!
Your scalp is an important part of your skin that is too often ignored. Just like the rest of our skin our scalps needs to be exfoliated to be healthy. However the scalp skin is more durable then the face so it can handle physical exfoliation such as scalp massage tools and coarser scrubs. That being said I also enjoy to chemically exfoliate my scalp every other week to really boost my hair and skin health. Scalps often have problem with build up from product and sweat so a chemical exfoliant can really get into the pores and clean them out. My favourite exfoliant for this is BHAS or salicylic acid as it is the chemical that gets deepest into the colours and really cleans them out.
This chemical exfoliant is from the inkey list and has been a great addition to my routine. The inkey list is one of my favourite brands as they have effective products and are cruelty free. This scalp exfoliant is part of their new hair line and is one of the 2 products I use regularly.
Texture:
This is very light and watery, it is very easily massaged into the hair.
How to use it:
I use this every other week as I have a dry scalp and don’t have any product build up. I shake a bit into my hand then massage into my scalp. I then let it sit for 10 minutes then proceed to wash as normal.
Effectiveness:
I have never had any reaction and my hair always feels so clean after use but never itchy or dry. My hair seems to be growing stronger since incorporating this into my routine.
THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment I really like using this as my hair and scalp seem much healthier

Good hair day!
FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Pre-wash Hair Treatment Oil used this overnight to help my scalp and thirsty ends. Love this! Smells good unlike some Ayurvedic hair oils. Plus when I rinsed it out the next morning my hair felt soft and was easier to detangle.
FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Cleansing Shampoo I have been searching for a good shampoo and conditioner for awhile. I have even tried some of those online quizzes where they make a custom shampoo and conditioner. But none of them have really passed the test until I tried this shampoo. It has enough moisture and slip to easily detangle my fine wavy hair but it’s not too heavy either.
FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Nourishing Conditioner Love this conditioner! Holy Grail product! My hair is really damaged when I bleached it to try to go purple. 😓 I have really dry ends and no conditioners I have tried have had the moisture and slip I was looking for. Until this one! Not only can I detangling my hair in the shower a lot easier my hair detangler even after I rinsed it out and it’s almost dry. I did mix it with THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment for the first time and I like it even more.
FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Repairing Hair Mask Used it after the conditioner to moisturize my dry, damaged hair. There’s nothing I don’t love about this product. Love the smell love how it feels on my hair and love how my hair feels after. Rinsed out and had mega wavy definition
after squishing some of the THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment in my hair I went in with the THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Brightening Hair Treatment to protect and help with my damaged hair. Both of these products helped so I had no frizz and was getting a lot of wave definition so I decided not to go in with any gel.
Put it up in an AQUIS - Lisse Luxe Desert Rose Hair Wrap for twenty minutes
dyson - Supersonic Hair Dryer defuse my hair and ended up with really good looking waves. At least for me because this is the first time in four months I have like my hair enough to not to braid it to help give it more wave.

Shampoo and Conditioner Favs (for medium width)
There are three different hair widths: Fine, Medium and Coarse. This is determined by the thickness of the individual hairs on your head (not the amount of hair you have overall, that’s your hair density). You can determine your own hair width by plucking out a single strand (just one, you’re going to be in pain if you take more!) and taking a peek at it. A fine strand will be almost invisible, a coarse strand will be visible and appear thick, the best way to describe a medium strand is a clearly visible strand of hair but without the thick appearance of coarse hair.
I have medium width strands and I’ve found that finding the right shampoo and conditioner made it possible for me to wash less while getting enough moisture to tame. With medium hair it can take longer to dry and style so it’s important to find products that can extend your time between washings. I’ve tried so many shampoos and conditioners and was always feeling like my scalp was greasy and my ends were dry the next day. After a lot of trial and error, I found Innersense Pure Harmony Hair Bath and Pure Inspiration Conditioner and they’ve made such a huge difference for my hair. My favorite thing, besides the fact that they smell amazing, is that they don’t leave any feeling of residue on the hair. Innsersense is an organic brand and their products don’t contain any silicones, parabens and other synthetics that can leave a waxy coating on your hair. The hair bath uses pumpkin seed, shea butter and coconut oil to cleanse the hair without drying it out. The conditioner contains bran oil and aloe which help smooth and moisturize the hair, I don’t put any conditioner on my scalp so I can go even longer without washing. My hair feels clean for days and I save so much time not having to constantly wash it!
Briogeo aloe and oat milk, is it worth it?
I was fortunate enough to have received this in a Influenster box a few weeks ago. This says fragrance free and this truly has absolutely no scent! I’d like to add that my hair is wavy, pretty frizzy and thick.
The shampoo feels really nice on my scalp. It doesn’t lather too much which is great. After I rinse this off it doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or like it stripped all of the oils like most shampoos I use. I really liked this.
Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Shampoo
The conditioner feels nice on my hair. I do wish it was a little more moisturizing, I love thick conditioners but this is more on the liquidy side. When I used this I had to use extra. But as an every day conditioner it feels fine.
Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-free Hypoallergenic Conditioner
The detangling spray feels really nice to apply while my hair is damp and when it’s starting to dry. I’m starting to use this every other day when I wash my hair, it helps keep my hair less frizzy than not using this.
Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Detangler
Overall it’s good BUT pretty expensive. They’re not really remarkable just average. I do appreciate that it has no added fragrance and other harsh chemicals in it but I don’t want to spend over $50 every time I run out of them. If you’d like to try them out then that’s great just not the best. The shampoo and conditioner are $26 each for 8 oz. The detangling spray is $24 for 5.9 oz.

Velveteen Dream for frizzy hair
amika: - Velveteen Dream Smoothing Shampoo
This is the regular shampoo that I am using every time I shower.
I have been using it for four months and have used about a third of it.
I really think that it makes my hair a lot less frizzy. But when it is combined with other products, it can make my hair pretty heavy.
This shampoo is really good on my recently dyed hair, I haven’t noticed any fading whatsoever.
It smells really nice scent, the same scent as the velveteen smoothing balm.
amika: - Velveteen Dream Smoothing Conditioner
I was super excited to try this after the shampoo worked so well. BUT, this has to be my least favorite Amika product I’ve ever tried.
This product does not smell like the shampoo, it smells like black licorice.
This conditioner does moisturize my hair and make it less frizzy, I just found that I couldn’t use it because of the scent.

Scrub Your Scalp Clean
This Root Energizing Rosemary Scalp Scrub by @aromatica is such a soothing scrub cleanser for your scalp. With the Dead Sea salts, it helps exfoliate the skin while removing waste accumulated in pores. Both me and my son love the light rosemary scent and the way the scrub tingles when we use it. It’s just a light tingle upon scrubbing application. It’s super easy to rinse out and really makes the skin feel refreshed and soothing. We both suffer from eczema and dandruff in our family and it’s really hard to find great products that work well for our skin AND not irritate it. This scalp scrub is definitely worth a 5 ⭐️ rating for sure. Swipe to see the lovely texture of the product in my photos too.

My biggest hair secret!
I love Navratna Ayurvedic oil! I purchase this at local Indian markets but you can also find it on Amazon.
This is a blend of oils that have a cool feeling: Sesame oil, Menthol, Amla, Camphor, Thyme and Rosemary Oil.
Rosemary oil is great for boosting circulation and growth.
I use this once a week and feel that it has kept my Navratna - Ayurvedic Cool Hair Oil hair healthy, soft and shiny. I also do feel it is the reason my hair grows so long.
I use the oil in my scalp and the strands of my hair. I massage my scalp gently for an additional 5-10 minutes after applying. I leave the oil on overnight and then shampoo twice the next day.
Stress is one of the main reasons people have hair fall. The menthol and cooling factor in this oil helps to relax me and in turn helps with hair loss.
The scent is really strong for some so be mindful, but it doesn’t bother me.
