Everyday makeup look with products I’m loving!
This year has me focused on my skin so on a daily basis I like using lightweight face make up instead of a full coverage foundation. I’ve been opting for using my fingers for blending and more cream products. Here is what I’ve been using and loving! 1. MAC - MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation

Feeling ill?? Slap some makeup on!
I apologize for the sparse posts. Mama has been feeling under the weather with some serious health issues. Instead of wallowing in bed all day, I decided to play with my NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Peak. These colors are to die for, and they have quite a bit of versatility once you start playing around with them. And that blending power? *chef’s kiss* Also, I just started using Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . I’ll be the first to tell you that I HATE waterproof mascara because I find it to be too abrasive, but this product gives you incredible volume and actually comes off with my regular cleanser!
Today’s look 👀 must say Sephora brand foundation really good one thing I didn’t like was its super full coverage but goes on smoothly didn’t dry out on my face and also contorted my oily zones. Over all it’s good but I will only use it if going to party or wedding for that full Matt face coverage I got that for hella cheap from TJ MAX FOR ONLY $3.99 yes in Sephora it’s like $20.

Why I’ll always prefer liquid foundation over mineral powder
For years I’ve used the same MAC Face and Body Foundation. I like its dewy look and the consistency makes it easy to blend – it’s water-based and light so it always looks natural. I tend to go for a somewhat bare make-up look and I find even when I use more product, I never get full, thick coverage. I used to use a brush to apply, but a make-up artist told me to use my fingers because with this product you want to blend until it gives you a bit of resistance. I use N1 in winter (because I’m pale and I have pink undertones in my skin) and N2 in summer. I wanted to try something new, and I have friends who swear by bareMinerals – a mineral based foundation that adapts to your natural skin tone. I went for Fair 01 which is the lightest pigment. There are two options, a matte finish and a dewy finish. I chose dewy because it’s the make-up look I like, I find matte reminds me of what I wore in the early 00s (when I made a lot of fashion faux pas). I gave it a go but I only use it occasionally. It does even out the skintone, but I miss the liquid look that gives my skin moisture and makes it look more alive and youthful. I like using Bare Minerals on days when I don’t want to wear much make-up. It’s good for really hot days, because in summer liquid foundation can smudge, and if I’m going out at night I will apply powder over liquid foundation for more coverage. BareMinerals is a nice-to-have, but of the two I’ll stick by liquid.

I Always Wanted To Do This Hair Flip!💁🏾♀️
i tried this style the other day and I was in LOVE, this is a upart wig I made with some hair i had from a previous wig. It was originally a 20in then i did a job cut and tapered the ends so it wasn’t so blunt. Then I used my REVLON - Salon Advanced Copper + Ceramic Curling Iron to flip the ends of my hair, then used a edge brush and some #TGIN - Smooth & Hold Edge Control[products]#[FiveStars] to lay my edges, i gave it 5 stars for now because I just got it. So far so good so It’s 5 stars for me. I did dye this hair blue black trying the dip dye method to try and match my hair since 1dyed mine blue black as well.
My favourite PINK lipsticks
Clinique - Think Bronze My first pink lipstick I ever bought, it’s a great “my lips but better” lipstick just add a barely there lift and the shimmer is elegant without being in your face. Super moisturizing and easy to wear layered or by it self. Revlon - Pink in the Afternoon Exact shade that Audrey Hepburn wears in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” it’s a great pink colour that gives off all the retro vibes but doesn’t last super long on my lips.: unless I layer it with a primer and blot with powder. Mac Powder Kiss - Scattered Petals Perfect 1960s pink, adds a nice brush of colour over the lips - it’s matte but not drying. Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize with a balm before applying for the perfect look.

Sephora Sale: tried & true with some new! 🛍
If you haven’t yet stopped by Sephora for the holiday sale, make sure you do! The sale ends 11/9 and Beauty Insiders get 10% off, VIBs have 15% off, and Rouges have 20% off! Shop soon to take advantage of the sale for holiday shopping or a treat for yourself! TATCHA - The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer - I absolutely love this primer! As a person with combination skin, I try to not use heavy primers so that my pores aren’t clogged and my makeup doesn’t last, but this primer is so light. In addition to making your skin look great by blurring pores and lines while reducing oil, the floral fragrance and packaging are beautiful. On light makeup days, I love wearing this, spot concealer, and a light round of setting powder as a base. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner - This is a new find for me that I picked up the other day and have already seen incredible results from! My typical combination skin has been dry in patches on my forehead and nose making it hard for me to wear foundation and or see any effects from my other skincare products. I decided to change my toner after seeing some reviews of this online and I’m so glad I picked it up. The fragrance is minimal, if any at all, and the hydrating properties are simply incredible. My skin feels smooth and the dry flakes have vanished over two days. Yesterday, I was able to wear my foundation for the first time since the summer without my skin feeling tight or having to slather on moisturizer. If you struggle with dry skin, take advantage of the squalane in this toner to revamp your skin! NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer - I purchased this concealer after hearing Mikayla rave about it on tik tok and needing a replacement for my benefit - Benefit Boi-Ing Industrial Strength Concealer that I’ve used for about a year! In comparing the NARS and Benefit, the NARS concealer has about twice the product! I’m incredibly pleased with this concealer’s ability to blend into the skin, be matte while not drying, and the pot packaging! If you’re looking for something to coverup a spot here and there, this is it. fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum - I have an undying love for fresh products that began with thefresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 about two years ago. Since then, I have tried thefresh - Rose Face Mask , fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner , fresh - Lotus Anti- Aging Daily Moisturizer , and many more. This product is no exception and is one that is hydrating while not greasy. I’m totally aware that oil in the name can be unappealing, but it provides a nice healthy glow, softens, soothes, and absorbs so quickly. This is great face serum/oil that I recommend to people with dry, combination, normal skin and those who are not sensitive to fragrance.
How to cover hyperpigmentation with makeup! 😎
I have acne prone skin which often times leads to hyperpigmentation (PIE) or red acne marks after the acne has gone away. These marks can be annoying and often take awhile to leave your skin completely. These are my two products I use daily to help cover up these marks! I can use these with a full face of makeup or on their own with the right blending. The first product I use is NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer and I absolutely love this product. It is a very dense product, almost tacky on the skin so it creates a caste almost over the spot where applied. I apply this with a small concealer brush to my desired spots, let dry for 2 minutes, then blend and/or compete the rest of my routine. I find that using a primer before applying this also helps a ton! The next product I use is it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Color-Correcting Concealer Cream This is another really great option for covering up hyperpigmentation. It is a liquid formula that is creamy but it dries down on the skin. A very small amount of product is needed so I use a small concealer brush, dip into the product, then apply as needed to my spots. Again, I let this dry down completely before moving on or blending further. PIE can be annoying to deal with, but loving your skin is most important! #cheriepartner

Favorite Blushes of 2020
One of my favorite makeup products is blush. I love how much life blush adds back into my complexion after putting on foundation and concealer. I used to reach for mainly peach toned shades, but lately I have been loving pink blush. Here are my favorite blushes of 2020. DIOR - BACKSTAGE Rosy Glow Blush The Dior Rosy Glow Blushes are one of the most beautiful formulas. It’s infused with Color Reviver Technology which reacts to the skins moisture level upon application for a customized rosy effect. It adds the perfect amount of radiance to my cheeks and I love both the pink and coral shades. FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush I was never a fan of cream blush until I tried the Fenty Cheeks Out Cream Blushes! The can look a little intimidating because quite a few of the colors are super bright, but they blend out really beautifully and look really pretty on the skin. I have quite a few shades, but my favorites are Petal Poppin and Strawberry Drip. MAC - Glow Play Blush I just recently tried the MAC Glow Play blush formula and I am so glad that I did. The formula is a really unique cream to powder hybrid formula and it looks so beautiful on the skin. I have a few shades, but my favorite is Grand. It’s such a pretty shade of pink. #Colourpop - Wayfarer Pressed Powder Blush[products]#[FiveStars] I absolutely love Colourpop Cosmetics! They have some of the most affordable makeup without compromising quality. I have so many of their products, but my favorites are their shadows and blushes. I’ve been wearing Wayfarer nonstop! I highly recommend checking it out! WANDER BEAUTY - On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator I am obsessed with Wander Beauty and this blush and highlighter blush and illuminator stick is absolutely gorgeous! I use the cream blush for both blush and lip balm and the formula is super creamy and really long lasting. It blends out really nicely with either your fingers or a brush and it has the perfect amount of pigmentation. Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush My newest faves are the Rare Beauty liquid blushes! She has the prettiest shade selection and you can get either a matte or dewy finish, but I absolutely love the matte. Bliss is my favorite shade and I love that you only need the smallest amount of product. It blends out so beautifully and stays put all day long! #Jouer Cosmetics - Blush Bouquet[products]#[FiveStars] I love Jouer’s blush duos and palettes, but Cheeky Summer is the duo that I reach for the most often. Both blush shades are so beautiful and they blend out really nicely on the cheeks. They have so many beautiful shades to chose from also. #BeautyWithoutBarriers #CheriePartner
Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek mini Duo
Rare Beauty - Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 2 Piece Mini Duo I mostly got this to try the lip balm, but ironically I like the blush better 😂 I’ve never really been a nude lip person and I thought this was gonna be a bit rosier or mauvier than it is, but I just bought some bright eyeshadows so this might be a good type of out of my comfort zone. I wouldn’t say this is a balm so much as a dewy lipstick, which is totally fine with me. The blush is another matte blush, and I was hoping for dewy but I’m not picky at all, the color is a very pretty peach color. I love the products themselves but I’m bummed about the shades in this set. It’s hard to tell on the package with no testers 🤷🏻♀️ Rare Beauty - With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

90s Lip Gloss is BACK in Style 💁🏻♀️
If y’all are a true 90s baby than you remember how important it was to always have your roller ball lipgloss or Lip Smacker product in your clear back bag! I remember loving my colorful collection and then the trend sort of died down some. But lucky for us lip gloss trend is back with our beloved TOWER 28 - ShineOn Lip Jelly in Shade “Fear Less.” This product retails for $14.00 (0.13 fl oz) at Sephora or Tower Beauty online. ☺️ There are six shades available from clear to purple and red gloss. They are truly non stick and provide moisture to the lips! You can wear it alone or as a top coat to your favorite lip stick. I love have chic the packaging and this brand stands for vegan and cruelty free products. Fragrance free if that’s not your thing and allergy tested! According to the website, three of the main ingredients are “apricot kernel oil, raspberry seed oil, and Rose hip oil.” 🥀 I bought this lip gloss two months ago and to be honest i wear it once or twice a week since I am home most of the day so I am certain this will last me a while. I would 100% recommend this to friends and family because it’s such a cute, fun, and effective product that stands for values I appreciate. As you can see the tint is light but subtle enough to give your lips a light purple color. 💜💜💜 If you’re considering buying a new lip gloss to try - I encourage y’all to get this one since it won’t cost you an arm and a leg! Let me know if you have tried this gloss in the past or now!
