Charlotte Tilbury’s Setting Powder Can’t Hang?
**I’ve only used this product once so this is my first impression of it I have been an admirer of Charlotte Tilbury’s products for quite some time now and have been dying to try its Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. As its name suggests, it has a reputation of making the skin look airbrushed and free of shine, which I need in my life. More deets about the powder: This breathable, micro-fine powder technology gives you an immaculate complexion that acts like a luxe, micro-fine cashmere veil on top of your skin for a bright, perfecting finish. Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day and enable the powder to blend on flawlessly, while reducing shine. Nourishing actives work to soothe and restore skin, while light-reflecting ingredients diffuse light as it hits your face for a luminous complexion and even finish all day. The powder costs $45 which i think is a lot so I’ve always been hesitant to try - but I got as a gift for my bday and was so excited to try. I haven’t really found a powder that I truly liked or that has actually kept my makeup locked in/prevented shine. My review: The airbrushed effect is no joke. When I first applied it, I was in awe of how smooth and radiant my skin looked. But as the day progressed, my T-zone got a bit oily and I noticed the product had caked into some dry spots — also does anyone have suggestions for hydrating primers/how to not make my foundation/powder cakey? Since I started using prescription retinol it’s been so hard to figure out!! I have to keep using this product to see how I feel about it. I really want to love it. As anyone tried it?!

Easy Job Interview Glam
When it comes to my ~professional~ glam, I like to keep things minimal but still make sure to contour and highlight the appropriate areas – the goal is a soft glow that accentuates your features without looking too much. I think it’s also important to apply powder, especially if you’re like me and have oily skin and are prone to sweat when you get nervous lol. Keeping shine in mind, I like to opt for mattifying complexion products and powder formulas when it comes to bronzer, blush, and highlight - but these days, my favorite bronzers and blushes are cream formulations. For the eyes, I think all you need is a little sweep of mascara and/or liner depending on what you’re into. To really make them pop and elevate your look, I like to go in with a neutral eyeshadow to give the eyes more definition and make myself look more put together. And for the finishing touch, all you need is your favorite lipstick. I feel like any color goes and your glam can be a great way to let your personality shine through. These are the products I use: REVLON - Photoready Candid Glow Moisture Glow Anti-Pollution Foundation MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick – for a natural-looking contour, I like to warm the product up on the back of my hand and then I pick it up from there with an angled bronzer brush. MERLE NORMAN - Cheek Crayon - like with the contour stick, I recommend applying creme blushes to your hand first and picking it up from there. This gives you more control when you apply it and really helps you build it up to that natural-looking flush. I also love to add a little to my eyes to sub in for eyeshadow. Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder – if you're on the oilier side like me, I've found that you need to apply this powder all over and do so about 2-3 times. It's a little annoying, but it creates such a gorgeous glow that you really look airbrushed and it's totally worth it. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Butter Highlighter – make sure you dab the excess off or you’ll look ~crazy~ glowy. I learned this the hard way. Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick
Dream Team, For Flawless & Mask Proof Base
SMITH & CULT - Veiled Threat Weightless Micro-Blurring Foundation This foundation has become one of my favorites in a short time. I’ve put it to the test and It’s has lasted me up to 10hrs without breaking down or transferring onto my face mask (Stats UpTo 12hrs). It’s a light weight medium buildable coverage . But honestly I’m able to build up to full coverage. This formula doesn’t feel heavy nor does it get cakey. It helps blur and cover up imperfections (which I have medium-large pores & dark acne spots / scares) . It’s made with aloe Vera & chlorophyll. They help sooth your skin & brighten. It’s considered a natural matte foundation. I was in shocked because mattes don’t often work for me as I have dry textured skin. It’s also available in 41 shades which I feel they hve a great range available. Ulta Beauty & Smith and Cult website have it on sale for $10.50 verse $42.00!! I would highly recommend you pick up the foundation as many shades have begun to sell out. Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder This is a gorgeous ultra fine pressed finishing powder . It helps truly blur out majority of my imperfections. It also works amazing on my under eyes. It sets my under eyes so nicely leaving it smooth, it doesn’t feel heavy and hasn’t caked up on me. (I need to pick up a lighter shade to help brighten). I can even use it through out the day to touch up areas if needed. It comes in beautiful luxury golden compact w/ mirror and available in 4 shades. Retails $45.00 . If you have the extra cash I highly recommend it. It’s meant for all skin types and gives you a natural finish. Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray I apply this on top of my primer (prior to foundation), then once I’m done with all my makeup I spray once more to locked & sealed everything. The setting spray is stated to hold up makeup up-to 16hrs and Help prevents flaking , caking and creases, I have been doing these steps for the last 2 weeks. It’s definitely helping my makeup hold up better and I rarely have had issues with it transferring onto my mask. When you spray it on after priming I’ve noted it actually helps fill in my pore better than any primer. It gives you more tacky base, which actually helps your foundation stick on better. I know it’s on the pricey side ($35.00 usd). I’ve put it to the test and so far I’ve gone up to 12hrs with no issues / transferring onto my mask. It does have a slight scent which doesn’t bother me but I know some rather not have fragrances. The spray does come in a hard plastic container. Which for me it’s good as I’ve drop it so many times lol. Again if you have the extra cash I’d highly recommend it because we need all the help to keep our beautiful makeup in place especially since we use masks on a daily bases now.
hi everyone ✨ for my first post on here i wanted to share some feedback on popular highlighters on the market right now! loves 💕💖💓 CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops (Moonlight): i was pleasantly surprised by this product! there was a lot of pigment to it and it spread very easily. just a warning, a little goes a long way and it isn’t as easy to get that small of an amount out of the dropper bottle! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Moonlight): becca’s highlighter is a long-time fav of mine! i love the shade pearl because my skin is so light in the winter and it still pops! the moonlight is just as good, just a bit darker and good for a more natural look 🤍 the milk makeup highlighter was the worst of the batch, it took multiple applications to get near to the result i was looking for and by that time the pigment was too dark to make it look natural i actually really liked the nudestix one too! it just wasn’t as great as the others i had sampled the bareminerals and tarte highlighters left something to be desired, becca has perfected the powder application of highlighter but i felt like these products wouldn’t last as long on my skin benefit’s high beam was very dramatic and came in a liquid application. it would work best for special events but not great for everyday wear in my opinion! thanks for reading🥰 share your experiences with your favorite products in the comments!

My Go-To Bronzer for...
MINIMAL – MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder Whenever I do a natural look, usually for work or just doing errands, I reach for the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Dark. I first heard about this years ago on YouTube and was intrigued by the concept of using a “foundation” powder as bronzer. But I immediately loved how it looked and have been hooked ever since. This is a very sheer formula, so it is perfect for a natural look because it is almost impossible to over-do it. It also has a pretty neutral tone, meaning it won’t make you look super sun kissed, but it isn’t cool toned like a contour powder either. At $36, I think this powder is worth it because it will last forever. I give it a 4/5 stars. NATURAL – MAKE UP FOR EVER - Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer When I want a bronzer that is going to melt into my skin and look like I have a glow from within, I go for the Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer. It has a unique gel-powder formula that seamlessly blends and melts into the skin, giving your skin a natural touchable bronze glow. This formulation is matte, but not flat, which further contributes to that natural finish. I often wear this bronzer over only a primer to achieve perfect summery bronzed skin. I have mine in shade 20M, which is a touch too dark + warm for me, but I just apply it lightly and it works really well. I can’t recommend this bronzer enough. I give it 5/5 stars! It is $36 at Sephora. SPECIAL OCCASION – GUERLAIN - Terracotta Bronzing Powder When I want to feel glam – I go for the showstopper that is Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer. This bronzer has a very faint shimmer which makes it ideal for nighttime and special events. I have mine in shade 02 Natural Blondes, which works really well for me, though it does run pretty warm, so I have to use a light touch, unless I am going full glam which is pretty rare these days. The actual product itself is what makes for the glam moment, from the compact to the scent, everything screams luxury and it really makes me feel like a princess. I absolutely love this bronzer as well, but wish it was a bit less pricey. I give it 4/5 stars. It is $54 at Sephora.
MAC-Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder
Holy grail concealer! I’ve tried a lot of concealers and this is the best one! Especially since Nars came out with the mini size, makes it easy for travel and the expanded shade range really makes great! It’s perfect for spot concealing or under eyes! Super creamy which is in the name..

Edit: opinion on hyped hourglass ambient palette
This Hourglass palette is honestly nothing special considering the price tag on this. I tried it and i barely notice the difference between the three shades on my skin. It’s like any finishing powder for me because it’s not a proper highlighter. If you wear Glossier future few under your foundation, you would get a very similar effect to wearing this. I don’t really see this helping in giving a blurring effect in pictures!
HOURGLASS-Ambient Lighting Palette
Foundations to me are kind of like vegetables to a toddler; you know you need them, but there aren’t many you like. I’ve been trying this combo from bobbibrown australia for a solid month now, whilst on hiatus from bathing in fake tan, and I have to say... I like it! I definitely chose a colour that can only be worn when I’m my natural shade of “have you ever been in the sun?”, but I especially love this formula for that exact reason! I really loath matte finishes for pale skin because, while I may be pasty, I still want to appear glowing and healthy, at the very least. This foundation has such a great finish that isn’t dewy, but also isn’t matte - it’s just natural! And paired with this moisturiser/primer potion and some luminous bronzer, it makes me forget about all the vegetables and vitamins I’ve been missing out on, and my sad, slightly ill-looking face is no more! *PS. Not my fave for a looooong day of wear, but 6-8 hours and it’s perf!
BOBBI BROWN-Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15
FOUNDATION: Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation Price: $68 My Skin Type: Normal To Dry Shade: Light Medium 14 - light medium with neutral olive Application : I used my fingers applying it mainly to the center of my face covering mainly my pores and under my eyes a little bit swept over my nose this gave me the most natural look like my skin but better. It blurred my pores and filled in a few fine lines under my eyes, when I was done it didn’t look like I had any foundation on which I really enjoyed. For brush application I used the Sonia Kashuk Duo Fiber Stippling Foundation Brush. It applied seamlessly, I ended up using 2.5 pumps just to build it up and see the most coverage I could get out of it. It blended out beautifully! Coverage: Sheer to Medium -Buildable (light cover foundation that can build to medium coverage). Texture/Finish/Feel: It feels like light velvet in my hands, very smooth and light enough to feel like a serum. I found the finish to be a soft radiant finish that looked better as I wore it. Wear: I wore it on top of my @supergoop Glow stick to run errands and loved how dewy it was! It wore for only a few hours but it looked amazing,I got the most longevity out of @hourglasscosmetics VM but this is also the primer I save for special occasions and without a doubt makes any foundation look amazing. For date nights I used the @fentybeauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating and @tatcha Silk Canvas and this worked really well and stayed on all night, it let the foundation shine and do its thing. I got a great wear time from it and as the night went on it looked even better. My Thoughts: I loved it! I love how it feels, I love the finish, the packaging is so luxurious especially figuring the price into it. As of right now I don’t know if I’ll repurchase it depends on how I feel when I run out! I really enjoyed this and I definitely encourage you to try it if your more into sheers. It’s one of those foundations that helps you fall in love with your skin again. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars, mainly lost a star because of the price point but if that doesn’t factor into your purchase or you get it on sale like me then this would be all 5 stars. ***My rating system is based on 1-5 scale with 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest. I will use the Star emoji to convey this***
