Dr Dennis Gross - Skincare Alpha Beta Peel Original Formula 60 Applications
Honestly I hate to love these because they’re so expensive, but trust me when I say they are worth the price. Sometimes they are cheaper on Amazon so make sure to check there before Sephora. They’re supposed to be daily but who can afford that? I do them every Sunday for a fresh start to the week. I also use it at night when I feel like a break out is coming and the next morning it’s completely gone. I have sensitive skin and I had no issues. They are not drying to me but I also slather on moisturizer after each application. During the week I also use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
In conjunction with Dennis gross pads. The pads are just too pricey to use twice a week but the ordinary is only $7! With these two products I have no need or desire to get a professional facial 🤗

TEXTURE BE GONE
Getting rid of old acne scars and texture has been my biggest focus since I’ve figured out what works for my skin. These products along with the SHANI DARDEN SKIN CARE - Retinol Reform have improved the texture of skin SIGNIFICANTLY. I’ve invested so much into skincare and to finally find products that do what they say they’re going to do and not just for aesthetically pleasing packaging+heafty price tag, is amazing! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution use this once a week at night, next morning my skin feels like silk. Has removed SO much texture since I’ve been consistent w it! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask was skeptical of this at first, but YTTP has never failed me so why not. So happy I did bc it keeps my skin hydrated and is working while I’m resting :) SHANI DARDEN SKIN CARE - Retinol Reform I bought the small bottle on Sephora for like $30ish. The bigger container is like $88, so I wanted to play it safe and make sure I loved the results. The verdict is, I DO! I only apply it to my problem area which is the sides of my face bc I sleep on my side D:(yes, I clean and switch pillow cases frequently and place clean towels on top my pillow, but I can’t help it)

Peeling Solution + my nightly routine
Tonight I decided to try the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution again. I wanted to make sure I built a routine with. Tonight the solutions tingling was much stronger. However...once you make it through the the sensation I was good. I washed my face then followed with the The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution . After that..I did my normal nightly routine which consisted of The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' URBAN SKIN Rx - Retinol Rapid Repair and Dark Spot Treatment and The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil since I have started using these products my since has been so clear. I have noticed my hyperpigmentation has started to clear up. My dark spots have started to clear as well.

I really wanted to love this! I was very hesitant to use this because I have sensitive skin and I heard horror stories about how this has burnt or irritated some with the same skin type. I purchased this on amazon but I shouldn't have because knowingly I know that sometimes you can get counterfeit or expired products. I honestly don't know why I did but I should have just gotten it on Sephora like I usually do. So the first thing I noticed about this was that it had a strong floral scent to it but it says it's fragrance free. The packaging was fine. I followed all instructions and left it on for 10 min and I didn't feel any burning or stinging. They say that you can see a difference with first use or sometime the next morning. Well I didn't see any difference whatsoever then or the next morning. So I'm wondering if I was sent a counterfeit product or expired. I may just purchase it on Sephora website and see. I'm going to try it one more time and see how it goes. Maybe someone can tell me how theirs smells and share their experience..The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

The ordinary facial peel
The ordinary facial peel
The famous The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution has been my first legitimate skin peeling solution and I will not be afraid to admit I was absolutely terrified to use it the first time. Prior to using this “godsend” facial peel I had been using The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (which was a really nice intro into chemical exfoliation for me) to get my skin used to doing chemical exfoliation and then the day came when I purchased the peeling solution. It wasn’t as bad the first couple of times I used it, but lately when I apply it, my skin has been very tingly in an itchy way for the first minute of application. I don’t know why it tingles more now than it did before but lmao okay. I admit, I really like this peel though. I feel like it has made a difference in how congested my skin can get and it has also helped with a bit of scarring I’ve had on my face which is pretty cool. For this product I will say that the hype is real, this is a really good product in my opinion, but before listening to the internet and buying it without a second thought, do your research to see if this is a right fit for you so you can avoid messing up your skin because this stuff is definitely NOT for people with sensitive skin. I will also say, use a lower power chemical exfoliant for a couple weeks (hell a month or so if you want) to get your skin used to dealing with chemicals.

Bringing to you The Ordinary (@deciem) for my #FriyayFaves and I mean who doesn’t love seeing The Ordinary on their feed? I know I do!Featuring:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane: I absolutely adore this product, it has truly changed my skin for the better. This is suitable for my dry/sensitive skin which is amazing because sometimes it can be hard to find things that truly work for my skin. And its great for anti-aging.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1%: On top of having dry/sensitive skin, I have mild acne-prone skin (occasional mild cystic acne). This product as many of you may know, reduces the appearance of blemishes and congestion overtime, and it does exactly that for me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨”Buffet” Serum: This was the very first product I ever tried from The Ordinary and I genuinely loved it. I am on my 5th bottle now. This contains many different peptide and probiotic complexes as well as hyaluronic acid complexes that help target skin aging! My skin seems more youthful looking and glowy and I notice the difference whenever I don’t use this! I am looking to try the “Buffet” + Copper Peptides 1%, if you have ever used that before, please comment how it worked for you and if it’s worth giving a try? ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ✨ AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution: Ok, so. At first I hated this product. Let’s be real, if you have dry/sensitive skin.. this will burn as hell when you put it on. The first time I ever tried this, I couldn’t even bare keeping it on for more than 3 minutes. My skin felt itchy, hot and it was just overall not a good feeling. Fast forward a few months later, I love it. I realized I needed to build a tolerance to high % of acids before using this again. Once I started to commonly incorporate different AHA, BHA to my face on a more so regular basis, my skin is now loving this product! I wake up the next morning after use, and my skin is GLOWING & feels so smooth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Let me know what @deciem products you like below. 🌱 #TheOrdinarySkincare

Step 3: Treatment (PM Edition) 💛
Step 3: Treatment (PM Edition) 💛
So I’m gonna skip out on expressing my excitement for this step in the skincare routine because I already did that in the AM edition. 🙃 So let’s just get into it! Product 1: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I’ve been using this for a little over a year now. When I first started, I heard this was a product that wouldn’t show instant results. Instead, this needs to be used consistently for 8 to 12 weeks in order to start seeing results. That being said, patience is key with this specific product. Now, I wish I had a high quality camera to show you before and after pictures of my pores, butttttt I don’t. SO, you’re just going to have to trust me when I say this: my sebum production is now in control which in turn made my pores appear smaller! 😱 Now, they’re not GONE... I am human, after all. But SIS. If your skin does not react negatively to this, STICK. TO. IT. and you will see results! And if you don’t, this product is dirt cheap so you wouldn’t even be wasting money trying it out. So, like, why wouldn’t you try it out?! How I use it: Alone, I use 3 drops, rub it between my fingers, and finger massage my face (lol that sounds kinda dirty, but y’all know what I mean!). Then I gently press the product into my face. Sometimes, however, I like to mix this ingredient with another (for example, my hyaluronic acid from TO). It all depends on what I feel like my skin might be needing atm. So, I make my own little concoctions. Try it out! 🤗 But just be aware of what mixes well with what. Product 2: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum This was something a friend recommended to me fairly recently and WOW. I’ve been using this for about 4 weeks now and the texture on my skin that my lovely acne had left me with is slowly smoothing over. 😱 I wrote briefly about the different AHAs in my Step 2: Toner post, so if you’re interested... you know 😏 you can click that post OR you can do some of your own research with Mr. Googlé. How I use it: After I let my Niacinamide absorb into my skin, I apply 1 pump onto my fingers, rub them together, finger massage (lol) my face, and then gently press. Same same. Now, I know what you’re thinking... “Xenia, you use a lot of product on your face.” Well, what can I say? My skin is a thirsty little B! Lol. Always, ALWAYS keep in mind while reading these reviews that what works for me may not work for you. That being said, hope this helps you on your skin journey somehow! 💕 Let me know your thoughts on these products if you’ve tried them OR any questions you may have if you’re thinking about trying them. 🤗 Kbyeee! Looking like Stephen King’s “Carrie” 🩸
Looking like Stephen King’s “Carrie” 🩸
This product has A LOT of hype, with good reason though. I have seriously sensitive skin, apple cider vinegar burns my skin, witch hazel leaves me dry and red, african black soap gave me a sulfur burn, I get burns so easily its like a second nature 🙃 Naturally, I was hesitant and a bit afraid to try this product, thinking that it would burn and leave my face super red. 😬 However, it didn’t! I was extremely (pleasantly) surprised that when I slathered it all over my face I only felt a tiny bit of a tingling sensation, but not burning at all. Overall, my skin has seen a huge improvement over the two weeks I have been using it and I plan to continue to use it. 🙌🏻❤️❤️ TUE / SAT in the PM for 10 mins ONLY on DRY face. My skin is brighter, more even, I have less blemishes and my skin is becoming more hydrated with the other products I’m using as well. Do I like it? YESSS! I’m about two weeks into using it (twice weekly) and I have noticed so much improvement in my skin texture and my acne. I’m not using any acne medication right now and my skin is GLOWING. I’m beyond excited to see how my skin looks after two weeks more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price? The price is pretty cheap, its too good to pass up on ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended for? I would recommend this for all skin types except super sensitive skin, its worth giving it a try, but you have to be super careful not to hurt your skin. Its very important to do a patch test first to make sure your skin is going to be okay and to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. Do NOT exceed 10 mins and do NOT use on a wet face. Overall thoughts? Honestly, I think this is a hyped product worth the hype. It has seriously helped my sensitive / acne-prone skin and I actually look forward to using it every TUE and SAT. I normally don’t like acids, but this is a great product with visible results. Just give it some time to work and follow the directions to protect your skin from damage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Daucus Carota Sativa Extract, Propanediol, Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Salicylic Acid, Potassium Citrate, Lactic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.

Progress of clear skin using The ordinary
Progress of clear skin using The ordinary
Okay so first I wanted to explain the type of skin I have which is very sensitive skin. I have ezcema but I get oily in my t-zone. People say it’s better if you are sensitive to not use this product. Because it will irritate the skin. Been told It’s more efficient for combo or oily skin. Well it was hard for me to find a product since (( I have sensitive skin ))to get rid of my acne. So I decided to buy it and I have watched many people videos on YouTube but some don’t explain how to use these products throughly. I had to do some real research on how to use it. What products to use with it , to leave it on or wash off, do I use before or after? Those are the concerns I had that many people didn’t talk about but they did explain how many times out of the week and the benefits you gain from using it. I wanted to know the routine. So for those who have sensitive skin I would try it cause it may work for you. But I used all three product on separate days, mainly at night. I waited each 24 hours to see if I got a reaction. I put it small amount on my jaw line. So make sure you do that just to be cautious to your pretty face. There is a disclaimer YOUR SKIN WILL BE DRIED IF YOU DON’T USE A THICK MOSITURIZER . This is my routine for Tuesday and Thursday only at night : I washed my face with a cleanser, toner then I applied 4 drops of the aha peel leave for 5 minute and wash it off. Do not rub it when applying the aha . Just apply it with light stokes. After i put niacinamide over the aha peel add moisturizer and that is it. ( I use niacinamide 5 days out of the week) Saturday: Cleanser, toner, lactic acid, niacinamide and moisturizer. That’s it ! This is my 2nd week using the products and I see a huge difference! Thank you for reading my ted talk !
