Gentle and Effective Retinol is a Thing!
Gentle and Effective Retinol is a Thing!
My skin just loves Naturiumskin products. I was experiencing some irritation and redness from a product about a week ago, so I switched back to the products I know. I also simplified my routine as much as possible so the only actives I used were in these two and within a day, I could already see and feel a difference. I alternated days using the super serum during the day with an SPF and the next day just using a simple morning routine and a simple night routine with the retinol moisturizer. Now, about a week later, my skin looks and feels completely back to normal. I cannot say enough good things about Naturium products. They all work incredibly well together and I’ve had no issues using them with other products either. . Have you tried anything from this brand?? A Face Oil for Oily/Combination Skin??
A Face Oil for Oily/Combination Skin??
“Named after Nejma; the Moroccan Goddess of health and protection.” . Here it is folks, the first face oil I think I’ve ever enjoyed. Idk about you but, when I think of a face oil, I think of heavy and oily feeling skin. But this? This oil is so lightweight I don’t even realize it’s there. You only need 1-2 pumps of this and that’s more than enough for your whole face and neck. I use 1 pump personally and it’s perfect. I wake up with glowing, happy, skin instead of looking like an oil slick. It also hasn’t broken me out, which is a miracle. Oils always seem to cause congestion, but this one is formulated to prevent that! This face oil does have some EO’s in it, but I’ve had no issues with them and have actually really enjoyed having them in there. I mean, you guys know, I avoid fragrance and EO’s because of my sensitive skin, but this has been amazing. It’s not an overpowering smell at all, it starts out slightly sweet and clean smelling, then transforms into the beautiful, earthy, blue tansy smell that I love so much. It’s so relaxing in the evening and doesn’t make me feel like I’m going to get a headache or anything. This face oil has been such a lux experience and I’m so happy I was lucky enough to win one. 💗 . Who Here Fears Oils??
Who Here Fears Oils??
🙋🏻‍♀️ I know I have for a long time with my combo/acne-prone skin because, I never found any that worked for me....until now. Deviant Skincare and 54Thrones have started to make me stray my course on avoiding oils. I’ve use Deviant’s cleansing oil several times now and loved using it every time. It doesn’t feel heavy or make my skin feel slippy or gross, once it’s washed away it’s gone. It also doesn’t cloud my eyes and I didn’t think that was even possible! I haven’t actually tried their face oil yet, but if it’s anything like their cleansers, I’m sure I’m going to love it. I know it contains a high level of Black Cumin Oil which contains linoleic acid and linoleic acid is great for acne prone skin, so I’m extremely hopeful for this guy. I’ll definitely update once I try it, though. I made a dedicated post on my IG about the 54Thrones Nejma oil for those that are interested. TLDR; I LOVE this oil. 😜💗 Share your skin type and your favorite oil that works for you! ⬇️

Affordable and Effective Skincare Anyone?
Affordable and Effective Skincare Anyone?
Let’s talk The Inkey List. I’ve been hearing about this brand for MONTHS and never really paid much attention, until recently. I started seeing people I really trust enjoying a lot of their products and thought, hm, maybe there is something to this. So, I asked the company for a skincare routine for me based on my type of skin and concerns. So far, these are the products I’ve tried from the routine and my thoughts. I’ve been incorporating 1 new product per week but I started with the basics all together, so the Bakuchiol, Brighten-i Eye Cream, Salicylic Acid Cleanser, and Hyaluronic Acid serum have been in rotation for about a month at this point and were the first 4 products I used together. Next I incorporated the PHA Toner, and lastly was the Vitamin C serum. •Bakuchiol - I like this a lot. It sinks right in and doesn’t leave a residue, but it isn’t quite hydrating enough for me. I do think I’ll need to incorporate an oil on top, but I don’t mind. The only negative I have with this so far is the packaging. I hate this packaging. The product is too thin for this kind of tube. •Brighten-i Eye Cream - I’ve seen nothing crazy with this, but I don’t see anything crazy with any eye cream. I do like this a lot though and I like the applicator. •Hyaluronic Acid - this feels very nice on the skin. It feels velvety on the skin and soaks right in for me. It leaves no residue and I’ve been enjoying it. I don’t know that it’s helping much with keeping my skin hydrated though. •PHA Toner - I think I’m liking this a lot. I feel like it’s helped my texture and made my face feel softer. It doesn’t seem to be causing any issues, but I think it is a little drying for me. A heavier moisturizer would solve this problem, I think. •Vitamin C Serum - I’ve only been using this for a little over a week and I’m uncertain about it. I do not like the smell and and it leaves my skin EXTREMELY sticky initially. Like, I could stick a spoon to my face and it would probably stay, sticky. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to linger and sinks in after a few minutes. Even if there is a teensy bit of tackiness if I get impatient, after putting on a moisturizer it’s gone. •Salicylic Acid Cleanser - I feel like this does work well and is very gentle. It doesn’t irritate my skin or feel drying, so I really like it. It seems to help with blackheads a lot and with any active breakouts I have, so I’ve definitely been enjoying it. THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream THE inkey LIST - Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Moisturizer THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner THE inkey LIST - 15% Vitamin C and EGF THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser

It’s All About the Eyes
It’s All About the Eyes
How do you feel about eye cream? Personally, I haven’t seen much difference with most. I do, however, see some difference with the biossance eye cream. It’s also the only one that doesn’t make my eyes sting. It gives me an instant more awake look and helps de puff at the same time. I don’t know that it did much for my dark circles but, I do feel like it did help at least a little. It works really well under makeup and doesn’t leave my eyes feeling oily or greasy. The other two aren’t my favorite, but they are nice moisturizers. I didn’t see any real change with them and they did kind of sting my eyes. So I don’t think I’d repurchase either. The eminence is apparently supposed to be more targeted towards those with iron or vitamin k deficiencies, so that probably explains why it didn’t do much for me. The biossance eye cream is definitely my favorite so far and is the clear winner for me. I do think I will repurchase it once this little sample runs out. A Truly Sheer Mineral Sunscreen?? Yes, Please!
A Truly Sheer Mineral Sunscreen?? Yes, Please!
This sunscreen is absolutely beautiful. It’s the perfect amount of dewy, without making me look greasy. I wouldn’t say it’s glazed donut dewy, but it’s definitely not matte. It’s also super lightweight and leaves NO white cast! I can’t even tell I have sunscreen on when I wear this because it doesn’t have that heavy mineral sunscreen feel at all. It really just feels like I’m applying a lightweight moisturizer. I havent broken out from this either (yay!) and it wears really well under makeup. I used it under my milk foundation stick and I feel like it helped moisturize my skin and keep it from clinging to any dryness. It is only SPF 30 so it’s not a crazy amount, but it wears so well. This size I got was a free sample with purchase, but I fully intend to buy a full size when I run out! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++
