Black Owned Makeup Look
So I decided to use the products I pictured in my first photo (minus my highlight shade and lipstick) I used the #Ace Beaute - Nostalgia Palette[products]# for my entire eye look. I definitely enjoyed these products. My only advice is to shake the UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation

Foundation UOMA BEAUTY - Boss Gloss Liquid Marble BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion Contour Palette Beauty Bakerie - Breakfast in Bed Eyeshadow Palette FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder This makes up most of my collection and I have ordered plenty more✨ Stay tuned for a look ✨ Just a reminder supporting black people is more than financial. It’s a mindset and there are plenty of allies. BHM is a celebration of our power and strength that we have exemplified and endured throughout history. To be an ally, it’s simple just be true to yourself and understand your fellow blacks in your community and beyond. Nobody asks for sympathy, just understanding and compassion. Silence is compliance in this day and age. What’s in your collection ? ✨
Red Lipstick? That’s Where The Drama Begins
UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation T1N. Easy to apply and stays even without setting powder or spray. COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts One of Colourpop’s better palette’s easy to apply and the colors are nicely pigmented. A good neutral palette for everyday wear. HOURGLASS - Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara Worst Mascara Ever. #Sydney Grace - Paris Skies[products]#[ThreeStars] Very pigmented and deeper than I expected. It eventually blended out but it took work. COLOURPOP - Lippie Stix Goldie. They were not fulling around with the red of this pen. It is intense. I topped it with COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Gloss in Renaissance which was a mistake. Should have left the matte lip intact. Next time I will pair Goldie with a sparkling metallic eye to tone down the intensity factor.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.2 DAYS AGO
