Brand New- Salicylic Acid Face Toner
Salicylic Acid or BHA’s can penetrate the skin to work deep down in your pores at removing oil, sebum, and dirt. Proven to be a must ingredient in you anti-acne formulations. BHA’s also have anti-aging effects when used for wrinkles and fine lines. I am a person who is now in her 40’s and am starting to see my age creep up on me, and to top it off I have suffered from cystic acne my whole life. I formulated this product for all of those issues in mind. I use this and the Salicylic Acid Face wash daily and my skin has never looked as clear and hydrated as it does today. Check it out. Hydrating Toning Mist: When to Use It?
Hi all, I’m looking for a little advice! 🌟 I’ve been incorporating toning mist into my routine for a while now. Up until recently, I haven’t noticed much difference using it, but have kept it to it as I know toner is considered a necessity in a skincare routine. I usually use G.M. COLLIN - Hydramucine Treating Mistafter cleansing, but for the past few days I’ve been using it after serums instead. I normally have a problem with moisturizers pilling after serums (all TO products) but I find using this between those steps helps my moisturizers absorb much better with little to no pilling! My question is: when do you use toning mist? After cleanser, before serum? After serum, before moisturizer? Both? Neither? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! ❤️

My fav Pixi product is the Rose Tonic! I've been using it everyday since I got it, so today I thought I will give more in depth review about that one. Btw, did you know the difference between toner and tonic? I read somewhere that toners tend to be more nutritious than tonics that are usually lighter products. But basically I think they are the same, so in this post I'm referring to this product as toner. Even though it looks pink from the outside, the toner is actually transparent, clear and watery. It means that the pink color comes entirely from the pink tinted plastic bottle. The rose scent itself is quite strong from the added rose water extract. The Pixi Rose Tonic is specifically formulated for sensitive skin, like myself. And the day this pretty set landed on my desk, my skin was in a woeful state: inflamed and breaking out from a Retinol purging. I didn't have high hopes, but figured it couldn't hurt to try considering the ingredient list looked promising. That night, after cleansing my skin, I squirted some on a cotton pad and swept it gently over my skin, making sure to focus on areas where I was experiencing the most inflammation. When I looked in the mirror, my skin was quite calmer in color, as the redness from inflammation had gone down. And my skin also feels soothed and calmed, I love when skincare does that! I can even applied a second layer of the stuff for more hydration, followed up by a humectant rich serum. The following morning, my skin still feel plumped. Needless to say, if you suffer from sensitive skin that's reactive. I highly recommend giving this set a try. With that said, I think it's a great way to use this Rose Tonic after exfoliating or when your skin is slighty irritated due to acne treatments or inflammation.
Cica Toner for Sensitive/Acne prone skin?
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫🌱 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬/𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: A Centella Water based toner that claims to nourish, soothe and leave a long lasting moisturizing effect. 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Centella Asiatica Leaf Water(64%), Onion Bulb Extract, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Madecassoside, Green Tea Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Licorice Root Extract ✅ Bee Venom, Chamomile Flower Extract, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Tea Tree Extract ❗️ 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬: Dryness, Acne —————————- Have you tried a face product with onion extract in it? Apparently, the ingredient has been shown to help significantly reduce the appearance of scars. It was the main reason why I picked up this toner. Sadly, I didn’t get to try it for enough time to see results. As a first impression, it’s an ‘okay’ product for me. It’s a viscous liquid that is best applied in a patting motion in my opinion. I was expecting it to give a ‘long-lasting’ hydrated feeling to the skin but it didn’t. Or maybe it’s just me? I got used of heavier hyaluronic acid/sodium hyaluronate to pat after cleansing. It did help decrease the redness of my face though, thanks to cica and green tea which have always been helpful for me. It’s a plus I didn’t get bad reaction from the other ingredients too. Overall, I still liked it. I think it was gentle enough for my skin as I’ve always tolerated tea tree and bee venom quite well. But i’m actually ditching those ingredients soon so I would not keep or repurchase this toner. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬: ~ calms redness ~ can dry up acne fast (although that’s not the proper way to treat them🙈) ~ doesn’t leave skin feeling sticky 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬: ~ not hydrating enough ~ needs better packaging quality 🙈 —————————- 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 3/5⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‼️ I learned tea tree and flower extracts can still potentially cause allergic reaction even later if used continuously

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
