The BEST product for you lips!
Hey guys! So excited to share any tips and tricks I find along the way- starting with this! I deal with very dry and cracked lips and I have tried everything 😔 but I found that the ingredient lanolin is amazingly hydrating! Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Original Lip Balm I used to use Vaseline all the time, but I always found that as soon as it wore off my lips were just as dry! LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask this smells amazing and adds a nice tint but I found the same thing! CARMEX - Classic Lip Balm, Medicated this will always be a favourite!! But when your lips are cracked it can sometimes sting Lano - The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm this product is amazing and contains lanolin- and you can use it for any dry area: cuticles, skin cracks and cracked lips! Lanolips is my go to but I found this product and it’s 100% lanolin (I know it has a strange label- but don’t be discouraged!) and it’s cheaper then any big brands! Lansinoh - Lanolin Nipple Cream is honestly the best thing if you want hydrated lips! And you don’t need a lot 💖
Affordable Swaps for Glossier’s Balm Dotcom
HONEST FEMME FINDS: I was trying to repurchase Glossier’s boy brow and added Balm Dotcom to my cart mainly for free shipping. And ok ok, I admit I was curious because despite mediocre reviews from skincare youtubers, many claimed to love it anyway. So here we are. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in Mango All the stars go to the unbeatable aesthetics and the many photo shoots I can have with this gem. The feel and formulation is comfortable but not life-changing. It reminds me of an elevated mango Burt’s Bees chapstick and Vaseline hybrid baby. I feel indifferent about repurchasing. One 0.5 Fl Oz tube for $12. Notable Ingredients: Lanolin, Beeswax, Castor Oil, Sunflower Extract, Vit E, Petrolatum Here are some dupes with a similar feel and glossy finish: Dr. PAWPAW - Real Paw Paw Ointment Notable Ingredients: Petrolatum, Lactoballicus/Papaya Fruit Ferment Extract, Beeswax, various oils. Feels similar, stays on longer, pleasant fruity smell. Two 0.88 Oz tubes for $12.40 (Lucas Brand) on Amazon. Lansinoh - Lanolin Nipple Cream Notable Ingredients: 100% Lanolin I know what you’re thinking- nipple cream?? But lanolin- the main ingredient in Balm Dotcom- is offered on Amazon at $8.12 for a 1.41 Fl Oz tube. If you try it out, please lmk what you think! Cheers to glossy lips 🥂

How I got rid of my Acne - Cleansers
One of the biggest steps to take when combatting acne is how you clean your face. This was a huge thing that I struggled with, I tried a lot of different cleansers, some which were too mild (cetaphil) and some that were too harsh (biore). Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser Bioré - Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser When you have acne, your skin is already sensitive and vulnerable. You need a cleanser which cleanser your skin without being overly stripping. Acne is usually caused by excess oil, which is why cleansing is such an important step. I found that using both a oil cleanser and gel cleanser at night was a game changer. I was getting this small bumps all over my forehead and I wasn’t able to get rid of them until I used an oil cleanser. But, I also needed a gel cleanser to remove all the excess oil from my face, some of which was caused by the oil cleanser itself. My absolute favourite oil cleanser is The Face Shop Rice Water Light Oil Cleanser. As is stated, the oil cleanser is light, which means it’s a thinner co so stench than balms. I preferred this to balms because it was less likely to clog my pores. This product got rid of all the small bumps I had on my forehead. I usually use this on my face for a few minutes, really massaging the product in, and it helps to extract sebaceous filaments, which are essentially oil blocks. THE FACE SHOP - Rice Water Bright, Light Cleansing Oil My favourite gel cleanser is the Youva Glacial Clay Cleanser. Unfortunately, I do think that this product is only available in Canada, but there are all natural clay cleaner alternatives to it. This cleanser leaves my face feeling soft and clean, but it doesn’t feel overly stripped of oil. This leaves just enough oil, that my skin doesn’t begin overproducing oil to compensate from the lost oils. YOUVA - Fresh Face Glacial Clay Cleanser I highly recommend trying these two cleansers. Or at least trying out an oil cleanser in addition to your daily cleanser! If you liked this post, please head on over to missdewyskin.wordpress.com for more skincare info!!

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Review
I (like many others) saw all the hype around this product and had to try it for myself. The bottle I got is now empty and I have been using it for about 2 months now! Now you may be wondering why I rated CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser only 3 stars... At first I LOVED this product. It made my skin sooo smooth and soft and I fell in love so I used it every am and pm. After about a month I started getting TONS of Fungal Acne all around my face but especially around my chin. I wanted to love this product so bad that I kept using it even though I was getting these results! I know that it wasn’t another product causing this because I only use the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser and the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin (I do love the Moisturizer btw). Eventually gave up and I stopped using both of the Cerave products. My fungal acne didn’t just *poof* away but it has gone down significantly! Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions!
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
Did Hyram lie?
This face wash is for people with normal skin and is supposed to work wonders with acne. Sadly for me no wonders took place, although I did see some improvement. Overall this cleanser helps keep my acne “tamed”, although even that doesn’t always work. I was disappointed by the fact it wasn’t cleared since that is what I heard others saying. 3/5 stars- because there was so much hype I didn’t experience, it does help some what, and it has great ingredients+price point
CeraVe-Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin
BEST anti-stripping hydrating Cleanser 🔥
If you are looking for a gentle, yet effective cleanser that doesn’t leave you super tight, this is it. I once judged the effectiveness of a face wash by how stripped it left me😫. I have learned so much and I have never used a cleanser like this. It has this gelly-like consistency that glides on the skin. I love that it is affordable too! I discovered this gem when I started to get serious with my skin care. Being at in quarantine since March, I decided to take my journey seriously and looking to Korean skin care. This product came highly recommended from James Welsh on YouTube and I have been using it both day and night for the past 5 months. The packaging isn’t just pretty! This products is packed with antioxidants as well as vitamin B5 to keep your skin hydrated, while Hemp seed oil seals in the moisture. It’s so hard for me to try other cleansers now. I always find myself coming back to this one! What’s your favorite cleanser at the moment? #CherieCreator PS. I have oily/combination and acne prone skin ❤️

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser-oily skin friendly?
Here's the tea. I got acne. I got oily skin. I got uneven skin & want to ditch all those blemishes! This baby helped a ton. I originally got the guts to buy this after watching the king of skincare..Hyram himself! I wanted to find the foaming facial cleanser BUT my drug store didn't have it so I settled for this! It works so well. My skin doesn't feel as oily & it's very refreshing. I absolutely recommend this product for dry skin as well! When I don't use it notice that my skin kinda goes through withdrawal. I've actually been using it for about 3-4 months! And of course I want to continue to use more CeraVe products to target my acne, but right now...imma stick with what's working ♡︎

no more body acne!!
For a few years ive had these weird sometimes red, sometimes normal color, bumps on my legs and sometimes on my arms. I never knew what they were, until I went to a dermatologist and got diagnosed with folliculitis. Its pretty much just hard-to-get-rid-of-ingrown hairs that are infected. Ive had them for YEARS and never found a way to get rid of them, until my derm recommended this wash!! I use this wash on my upper arms, booty, thighs and inner thighs. If ur a chubby thigh girl like me you probably get red bumps/ingrown hairs on your inner thighs. This is AMAZING FOR THAT!!! It really keeps those bumps away. Although, I only use this on my body not my face. This wash has Benzyl peroxide and my face really doesn’t like that. It gets dried out super easily and just irritated, but my body can handle it. Towards the end of my shower, I wet my skin, and then apply this wash and lather it up, but i dont add anymore water. I let the wash sit for a minute or two, then I wash it off. I started seeing results in just 2 weeks, just make sure to moisturize moisturize moisturize!! Do I recommend this? Yes!! PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength
