Eye Cream Is NOT A Hoax!
There is no hoax about eye cream. I’ve been seeing a lot of misinformation about how eye cream isn’t needed or it is just overpriced moisturizer. Sadly this is the spread of uneducated opinions not backed by the proper background in cosmetic chemistry. One of my goals as a Licensed Esthetician? Skin Fitness Expert, and now Cherie Creator is to empower you all to make educated decisions about your skin health and wellness by wiping away the lies and taking the BS out of the beauty industry with simple nerdy posts like this one backed in science. Let’s go ahead and chat facts about the eye area, eye creams, and how this all works so you can make your own decisions on whether eye cream is for you or not. FACT: The skin around the eyes isn’t like the rest of the face. It has no pores. FACT: Pores are the primary way that products are delivered aka get into the skin. FACT: Delivery systems are high tech skin science. They are like the SpaceX of skincare. Anyone can put products on the top of the skin. It’s the company that can get those products ingredients delivered to the exact place they needs to go without damaging anything along the way or having them lose potency that’s a rock ⭐️. FACT: Since the skin around the eyes doesn’t have pores to get product through it needs high tech science 🔬🧬 and ingredients to work on the eye area. FACT: Eye Creams are formulates especially for delivery to the eye area to repair eye issues. FACT: Eye creams aren’t miracle workers. They don’t fix genetic problems like bags, dark circles, etc. They can improve their appearance. OPINION: You may want to skip eye cream for some genetically predisposed things like dark circles which are often caused by pooling blood, poor circulation, shadowing of the upper brow ridge, and diet and try other solutions first. OPINION: Hydration can help your eye area look better! This means any moisturizing will help. Drinking more water💦 applying basic moisturizer will hydrate the top layers of the skin and make them appear better. Understand the deeper layers are not improved. It’s a temporary fix and isn’t repairing or stopping future damage. FALSE: Moisturizer is just as good around the eye area as specially formulated eye cream. TRUTH: Regular moisturizer will not penetrate the eye area skin. It will stay on the orbital bone or in the top dead layers of skin superficially as just hydration. But it most likely won’t repair anything more deeply. Specially designed delivery systems are needed to get into a pore-less area like the eyes. TRUTH: Crows feet don’t need special eye cream. This is where there’s a lot of misinformation! Wrinkles on the sides of the eyes, outside the orbital bone, is regular skin So nope you don’t need special cream per say. 😘 #cheriecreator #eyecream #anti-aging #eyeareaconcerns

Dermatologists' Advice: How To Get Rid Of Eye Bags & Dark Circles
Time is constantly moving, and it really does wait for no one. Sometimes, it feels like there just are not enough hours in the day to get everything done, take care of yourself, and get a good night’s sleep. It leads to fatigue and sleep deprivation, dehydration, and stress – and it shows a physical toll through annoying undereye bags and dark circles. While these can be as easy to get rid of as getting a good night’s sleep, they can also be extremely persistent. Want to know the best ways to get rid of them? Here’s how to best reduce undereye bags and dark circles, according to dermatologists.
Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles: Causes and Treatments
No one likes to go out with dark circles and puffy eyes. Indeed, so many of us have tried to cover these nuisances with ample makeup. You must have often wondered how to get rid of the dark circles permanently and tried various home remedies for the same.
Being a Night Owl Doesn’t Have To Show On Your Face😉Here’s How!
Some of us lead a lifestyle where getting enough sleep is not the superstar. Some of us study, some of us work, some of us party, some of us are just people who love to stay up late! Well fear not, all this doesn’t have to show on your face. Here are three hacks that will help you still have glowing healthy looking skin! 1) Warm teabags To get rid of puffy eyes and dark circles, just use a cooled down teabag under your eyes and it will work miracles. You can cool it down in the fridge if you want to have it done fast and then just apply it under your eyes for a good 15 minutes. The tannin in the teabags has been proven to work on dark circles and on baggy under-eyes. Also, the tea has a lot of anti-inflammatory properties. Now obviously this will not grant you a long-term solution but for the days when your dark circles are just too much, this is for you! 2) Greek Yogurt Yogurt contains lactic acid which is simply amazing for your skin and a lot of skincare products actually boast having lactic acid in them. It exfoliates your skin and gives it a certain glow. I actually still remember that the very first time I used Greek yogurt on my face I felt a difference! Also, it was very simple. I did not mix it with anything, simply put a good layer of yogurt on my face and lied down for 15 minutes. The minute I removed it I felt like my face was given a facelift, I honestly just felt tightness in it and it was amazing. The next day I also felt like it looked glowing and there was some dryness indicating some exfoliation going on. 3) Hemorrhoid Cream Yes yes this one I know is a shocker and the first time I heard it I was about to lose my mind. Put hemorrhoid cream? Under my eyes?! What! The idea of it is just not the most comfortable. Ok so the thing with hemorrhoid cream is that the way it actually provides relief for hemorrhoids is by removing their swelling as veins in a topical method (meaning that you just apply it to the skin) and the same goes for underneath your eyes. After you apply the cream under your eyes it can actually dramatically reduce the swelling (or puffiness) there believe it or not! To cut a long story short, we all like to enjoy our lifestyles and one that lacks in sleep shouldn’t be the reason why our skin suffers, good luck and happy owling through the night!
Dark circles and puffy eyes be gone!
it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Brightening Eye Cream Dark circles and morning puffy eyes have always been my main concern. Luckily, fine lines have stayed (somewhat) at bay considerably well over the years - though I must admit I am now noticing the fine lines around my eyes a little more. I have tried a lot of the eye creams on the market (I am working on a “duds” post to share), and haven’t really felt like any made a huge impact to the dark circles. However, about a year ago I got a tiny sample of this eye cream in an order and I haven’t looked back. The blue tint helps brighten my eye, and usually my eye area will look plump and fresh when I wake up! The only thing I will note as a negative for this eye cream is it’s price. At $63 a jar, it’s a bit steep for most people. So, I like to wait until IT Cosmetics has a site wide sale and buy it (sometimes it’s 20% off!). Or even when Sephora has its Beauty insider events! How I use this (works best for me): At night, after serums, I generously dab eye cream to the under eye, and outside corner of my eyes. I leave it there to soak in for about 5 mins while I continue with some of my routine If there is excess product still remaining after 5 minutes I gently press it into the skin Note: Be gentle with your eye area as the skin is very thin, and gets even thinner as we age. Very light dabbing lets the product absorb without pulling at the skin.
