BYE BYE DRY DAYS!
I just used the last of this amazing power scrub mask! Not only does it smell SO GOOD but it works wonders for my combination skin, and when the seasons are changing or i'm having a not-so-good skin day, this replenishes my skin INSTANTLY. The packaging says that this product contains many "nutritive ingredients such as fresh plants, fruits, etc. to keep our skin healthy." You know me, I like to dig a little deeper into the ingredients. This product contains:
Sucrose: an ingredient that soothes the skin and moisturizes, helps with blemish control, and is a natural exfoliator.
Glycerin: helps with acne, wrinkles, good with oily skin types while still attracting moisture to the skin to keep it soft and supple.
Seed oilS: anti-inflammatory properties, restores our skin barrier, and hydrates
AND SO MANY MORE AMAZING INGREDIENTSI give this product 4/5 stars because it does have fragrance, (though it's the last ingredient) and has one paraben. Overall, This product is to die for! Skin mask junkies, invest in this for ONLY $10 at ulta!

siennaryanbe careful with physical exfoliants. sometimes they can be a little too harsh on the skin, but if you limit use to once a week, you should be fine. <3

_sapphire_sSugar exfoliants are fine mixed with some water because they break down and soften naturally and quickly. Any exfoliant can be abrasive, even a cotton swab, be mindful of your skin and always be gentle to avoid irritation. Once a week is good for sensitive folk, but twice is okay too, just always be good to your skin 🖤

Best natural exfoliant
Skin foods black sugar wash off mask is one of my many staple in my skin care a year and a half ago when I decided to dip my toe into the world of skin care and reform my skin finding an exfoliation routine was my first step and I found this beauty. I’m now on my third bottle of this stuff. ✨ My skin care routine has changed a lot since then I use many other masks and exfoliation products but i still use this because it makes my skin so soft it smells wonderful and it super gentle if you’re just starting off. You can use water which helps dissolve the sugars so it’s gentler or you can use it dry for a better exfoliation. It’s super hydrating from the Shea butter and you’re just going to love it.
Better Pick: Physical or Chemical Exfoliation?
If you want to get rid of dullness and reveal your radiant, glowing skin, your best bet would be to exfoliate. But the thing is, there are two kinds of exfoliation, physical and chemical. Is there a difference in the effects? Which one should you try? Having tried both, I can say these two things with certainty: - There’s a big difference between the effects that I saw after doing both. - There is such a thing as too much exfoliation. Let’s talk about physical exfoliation first. Physical exfoliation refers to exfoliating your skin using products like scrubs and facial tools. With physical exfoliation, you’re literally stripping away the top layer of your skin that contains all the dead cells. Doing so reveals your fresh skin underneath. My first foray into exfoliation was me making use of physical exfoliators. In fact, when I was still in college, my favorite scrub was SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Strawberry Mask Wash Off It contained granules that would gently scrape my dead skin cells, making my skin feel soft and smooth afterward. Plus, the 100 ml tub which cost around $12 was big enough to last for the whole year already. Everything changed when I found out about chemical exfoliation. As its name suggests, the acids in chemical exfoliation help remove the outer layer of the skin. This means that if you do it right, there’s little to no physical damage that could possibly be done to your skin, unlike physical exfoliation. These days, I’m all for chemical exfoliation. Aside from my regular The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I also have another AHA essence COSRX - AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid Both TO’s Glycolic Acid Toner and COSRX’s AHA 7 Liquid costs $18 each for a 240ml bottle and a 100ml bottle respectively. I also use an over-the-counter 30% Glycolic Acid solution twice a month. Their effects may not be as instant as physical exfoliation, but I noticed that they’re more long-term. Back when I was still using a physical exfoliator, my skin would only look good for a few days after exfoliating, but with chemical exfoliators, my skin just looks better and better as time goes by. Remember, too much exfoliation isn’t good, and it can lead to breakouts, redness, and increased sensitivity. Whether you choose chemical or physical exfoliation, always keep in mind that you shouldn’t do it more than a few times per week!
👎Meh & Fav👍 You Should Find the Right Product!
If you also have sensitive skin like me, you may have heared that cleansing masks are not suitable for us. However, after constant exploring, I've found that appropriate cleansing with the right product while keeping an eye on the frequency of use is actually alright. The following are three cleansing masks that I've used before and I'd like share my experience with them? boscia - Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask It has a thick texture similar to a matcha spread and it instantly dries up after it's applied on my skin. It cleanses really well and I can actually feel my pores unclogged. But it dries up really fast and is too tightening, so I won't be repurchasing it. 👎 AA Skincare Mint & Dead Sea Salt Deep Cleansing Face Mask It has a mousse texture with exfoliating particles and feels cool on my skin when applied. However, the exfoliating particles are really not sensitive skin friendly. I only used it on my nose and it didn't work for me at all.👎 Kiehl's - Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque It has a wet clay texture which irritates when applied but won't cause skin redness. It leaves my skin feeling very clean after it's washed off and it visibly reduces my acne the next day. It can be used on sensitive skin but not frequently as it is a very powerful cleanser. I normally apply it once a week to my T-zone area and once a month to my entire face, so I highly recommend it.👍 If you have any suggestions or questions please hmu 🥰

Sensitive Skin During Seasonal Changes? GLAMGLOW Solves The Problem💖
This is the 2nd part of my reviews on Glamglow face mask. If you missed out the 1st part, click on my profile page and read it! lol Anyway, I have sensitive skin. I suffered so much during seasonal changes. Glamglow saved my life! So here comes the next two reviews. I really love GLAMGLOW - SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment Mask, which is more suitable for sensitive skin. It's the most watery cleansing mask I've ever used and it has ingredients similar to the Youthmud, both containing sea clay and green tea, but it's more gentle compared with Youthmud. Directions: Apply it on your T-zone for around 10 to 20 minutes! You'll soon feel the oil and dirt sucked out of your skin by the mask. It can truly improve the skin's water-oil balance and reduce acne and pimples when it's applied on acne-prone skin. GLAMGLOW - Gravitymud Firming Treatment Mask is the latest tightening mask in the market, and it offers quite a decent user experience! It has a gluey texture and is a beautiful sparkly silver color with metallic silver glitters. Directions: I love applying it on my eye bags, the apples of my cheeks and sometimes my forehead (GLAMGLOW also recommends using it on the neck to reduce neck lines). You can feel the mask tightening with a warming sensation after applying it for around one to two minutes. When the mask becomes fully dry after 10 to 20 minutes, you'll be left with tender and supple skin. That concludes my review on Glamglow. It is an amzing brand. I know it's quite expensive, but I personally think it worths the investment. If you have any thoughts, comment here!👇👇

Only one product can get “YES”😟
My skin type is dry combination with acne skin, acne marks are left by the adolescence. Blain and pore bulky skin is the most serious problem! Products with hydrating and acne treatment is my first needs when I buy skin care products. I will introduce two products which I have tried before. I hope I can help people to avoid mine field. YES！ Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask The texture is more close to transparent jelly，and is suitable to all skin types. This product can help acne anti-inflammatory, especially red acne can get effective improvement. It has high Concentration of Calendula essence. After using it before you go to bed, Abnormal skin condition can be relieved the next day morning. But there's a problem with this product. The amount of preservative added in it is a little large. There is a slight pinch for people whose skin cuticle is thin. In addition, before using this mask, you need to use hydrating lotion or toner first. If you use it under a dry skin condition, you will also feel tingling. NO! SKII R.N.A.POWER Radical New Age SK-II - R.N.A. POWER Anti-Aging Face Cream I've tried this product three times, and each time I get pimples the next day! It is the kind of big acne that can squeeze out white particles. First of all, this product contains Niacinamide. If you are not a tolerable skin, this product is easy to make you have acne and allergies. I have introduced in my previous post how to use Niacinamide ingredient correctly. If you are interested, you can have a look. Secondly, the nutritional content of this product is too high. For my skin, there is a little over nutrition. The skin absorbs too much and blocks the pores. Actually, the best way I've found in recent years to keep my skin in good condition is to avoid eating sweet food! Try to eat less desserts, run more and exercise more. It's really better than any skin care product!

Soft Exfoliator that leaves skin GORGEOUS
This is a brand that really stood out to me when I started getting into skincare, and transformed the health of my skin. This Korean skin care brand has improved my skin's texture, brightness, and helped with my acne. This product in particular is a face mask that you actively massage into the skin for 10-15 minutes. (It's tedious, but it works WONDERS!) This mask contains amazing ingredients such as: Rice- a rich source of vitamin E which is an antioxidant that fights aging and free radical damage. Linoleic acid- Has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties that soften the skin and supports cell regeneration (making it amazing for fighting acne and scars) This face mask is a must have in your skin care box if you want something that exfoliates and leaves the skin soft and healthy! I give this product 4/5 because it does contain alcohol and fragrance which can be negative for some skin types, however I have sensitive skin and haven't experienced any negative side effects from using this product. This product is retailed for only $10.00 at ulta.com.

Why I love lactic acid?
I’ve had acne for the majority of my life, and my skin turns extremely sensitive when seasons change—poor me. So I have to choose the right ingredients and products to get rid of acne while not damaging my skin. Life is so hard.😭😭 My friends always recommend products with acid to kill acne. But I never give it a go because I feel it’ll be terrible for my sensitive skin. Until last month, my friend gave me a small sample of REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask, told me it’s sensitive skin-friendly cuz the lactic acid inside works mildly to kill the acne and smooth skin. It sounds good, and why not have a try? It can’t be worse for me if it doesn’t work like others. 🤷🏼♀️ I did feel burning on my face when I first used this mask, and I felt so worried the nightmare came again! Guess what! It didn’t damage my skin. The magic came after washing off the mask, my skin looked super bright and shining, and my pores were gone! Huge surprises!!! Yeaaa! I can’t tell you how much I love using this mask. Today, I can proudly tell you, I seldom have acne, and my sensitive skin is well protected!! I’ve dreamed of this for so long. There is no doubt that lactic acid has become one of my favorite skincare ingredients. If you have the same problem as me, REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal MaskIS WHAT YOU NEED! I strongly recommend it!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank me later, ladies.

I’m from Honey mask— best for dehydrated skin
This mask is meant to hydrate skin and also has antibacterial properties. It claims to help with acne and dehydrated skin. Texture is very thick like honey (also smells like honey!) I love this product so much and would recommend it to everyone! It really hydrated the skin, but you do have to follow up with a moisturizer to lock in that moisture. I bought this product for $22 on Amazon and I say it is definitely worth the price! I would rate it 4/5 stars because I don’t know that it would help with acne. I never struggle with acne much so this isn’t something I feel confident on reviewing it for.
