Battle of the Face Masks
My skin type is combo oily that can lean more dry during the weather changes or just randomly. My skin concerns are acne, oiliness throughout the day and also dehydration. I’ve ranked the face washes I currently have open right now based on how they worked for me personally (starting from favorite). My favorite out of this bunch is the philosophy - Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask

🌊 Favorite Masks: HYDRATE!🌊
e.l.f. - Hydrating Bubble Mask claims to hydrate and nourish the skin while cleansing dirt from the skin and making the skin glow ✨✨The product is an opaque gel and the consistency of the gel is simple and smooth. this product is that it foams up almost instantaneously. After applying, the product foams up within seconds into thin fuzzy bubbles. The instructions say to leave the product on for 5-10 min and when I tried to keep it on for more than 5 min I couldn’t. Why? Because it’s too itchy!!! 😳 the bubbles are so tiny and they start to pop after a while, making it super ticklish 🤪.That’s the only thing I did not like about this product. So now when I use it, I only keep it on for around 3 min. After the time was up and I massaged and washed the product off my skin. My skin felt cleansed and soft. Co'L CANDY O'LADY - O&Young ACME Beta-Glucan Intensive Moisture Mask Set is such an interesting sheet mask. It claims to hydrate with beta-glucan while removing skin debris at the same time?! When I opened this mask I noticed that the serum is sooooo viscous and sticky😅. The sheet is also extremly thin (which I love) so it stuck to my face super well and I did not have any problems with the sheet slipping down or moving around. After using the sheet for the whole timeframe which is 20 min, I noticed that the sheet was still soaked and full of serum so I squeezed it and omg so much came out! This sheet was extremely hydrating and soothing. It did not cause my sensitive skin to break out or become irritated so that was a plus. I did end up washing the serum off though since it was so much and kinda sticky which I don’t like. When comparing the two products, the sheet mask was more convienent since it required no further steps to wash it off after using it, the e.l.f mask was required to be washed off afterwards. I prefered the sheet mask since the e.l.f. mask requires that extra step and it makes my face itchy. Both are great masks for hydration though and I would recommend both since they don't cause breakouts nor irritation for sensitive skinned people. 👍🏻
Game Changing Face Masks!I Didn't Know The Power Of Salicylic Acid Until...
I have combo-oily skin. I have acne-prone skin and I have some pimples on my face. I always loved using BRODA® PRO Nourishing Spa Mask, so I'm really fond of salicylic acid masks and I love trying any new ones that I happen to come across! This time I'm recommending two salicylic acid masks: the philosophy - Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Maskand the DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial I always thought that it is just a salicylic acid mask but it actually also contains a very high concentration of fruit acid. With 25% fruit acid plus 2% salicylic acid, it's almost equivalent to the concentration of chemical peels! I've always been using BRODA® PRO so I thought that I'd built up a very strong level of tolerance but it still stung when I first applied this mask. I applied it for around 20 minutes and it stopped stinging after a while. Those of you who just started trying chemical peeling masks need to slowly build up your skin tolerance. My skin felt much smoother and tender after using it. I don't see it shrinking my pores yet but the bumps on my forehead and chin have gradually disappeared. Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Exfoliating Clay Mask This is a salicylic acid clay mask with only 0.5% salicylic acid but because it is a clay mask, I only use it on my T-zone and my chin. Even though I always apply a thick layer of it, it doesn't really sting, maybe because I don't use it on my cheeks. This clay mask also contains exfoliating particles which can be used to exfoliate your whole face after the mask is cleaned off. After using this clay mask for a while, I find it more suitable for removing blackheads and whiteheads. My nose always feels clean after using it and the makeup around my nose no longer cakes. Have you used Salicylic Acid Masks before? 💫💫💫
Best Pore Face Mask? 🖤
I use face masks almost weekly. One I’ve been really enjoying is the philosophy - Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask . This clay mask contains kaolin, bentonite, and salicylic acid to help draw out impurities, exfoliate the skin, and reduce the appearance of pores. The mask is a gritty, clay mask that I use once every week or two. I have oily skin and I probably wouldn’t use it any more than that because of how gritty it is. It dries down like a typical clay mask would. I leave it on for at least ten minutes and then I wash it off. When you add the water the grit comes out and I gentle exfoliate the skin (I only use this on my nose and forehead where visible pores are. I feel like it would be too rough for the rest of the face). The skin can be a little tight afterwards because of the clay so I always make sure I go in with hydrating ingredients afterwards. My skin always feels super smooth afterwards. I don’t really see many blackheads on my face anymore (just sebaceous filaments) but I know the salicylic acid is helping to clean out my pores while the clay helps absorb excess oil. I would definitely recommend giving this a try to anyone who deals with an oily T Zone or blackheads. They have a travel size which gives you more than enough product to give it a try. Pictured above is the travel size which is $18.
A good mask and NOT crazy $$$
I really liked this mask. I have used it twice now and the both times I’ve truly enjoyed the experience. It applies soooooo smoothly and it has little “super volcanic” clusters. I don’t really see a lot of those although they could be all the way at the bottom (which wouldn’t be great if they were). What I will say is that the next morning my skin was great the first time and the second time I had two small new breakouts. It does dawn on me that it could be part of a purge of my skin after clay and volcanic clusters (I’m assuming they are similar to charcoal) pull everything out. Either way, I think this mask worked pretty well at clearing my skin and eventually diminishing my breakouts. I bought this mask for the stated benefit for shrinking my pores. Nothing on that front yet. Overall would recommend. I like the consistency and the feeling of my skin (after moisturizer since it’s mildly drying... or I’m just very dehydrated 😅). I’m probably going to buy innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask again but maybe I’ll try something new first.

ELEMIS Peptide 4 Thousand Flower Face Mask
My skin type is typically oily with the occasional breakout and dry spot, but has been more dry lately due to the weather. The purpose of this mask is to instantly revitalize (by exfoliating) and reduce the appearance of pores. It is suitable for all skin types. I got this free as a gift with purchase from Ulta. As soon as I opened the top, I could smell the fragrance. I’ve noticed that the ELEMIS products I’ve tried have a lot of fragrance. This mask had a neat consistency and felt cooling, but it was hard to spread and took a lot of product. I didn’t notice any sort of benefit while using this product and wasn’t impressed to purchase a full size. I didn’t like this product because of all the fragrance and didn’t notice any difference while using it. I wouldn’t recommend this because it didn’t make a difference at all. I don’t think this is worth the price or effort, I’d rather invest in a good moisturizer or serum since this only sits on your skin for 15 minutes once a week. ELEMIS - Peptide 4 Thousand Flower Face Mask Price: $45 for 2.2 oz/ 75 mL Rating: 1/5

Peel Off Game Changer
For the longest time I’ve been looking for an organic sensitive skin safe peel off pore mask. I’ve done Bioré strips and they absolutely trash my skin. This is so gentile yet STILL gets in all the pores and really does a good clean out! Love this product!!

Brand Spotlight: ELF Sheet Mask
Who doesn’t love a good sheet mask? I know I do, whether it’s for a specific need such as purifying, mattifying, moisturizing, or something non-specific like soothing, it’s a pleasant way to kill some good relaxation time. ELF has a few sheet masks, 6 actually, in their skincare line. I’ve tried 3 of them and I’ve enjoyed each of the masks. 💚e.l.f. - Soothing Sheet Mask : I did a review on this mask already if you want to check it out. To sum up my experience with this mask, I had a bad reaction to a different sheet mask, then after using my Ordinary Peeling Solution my face was overly sensitive so I used the ELF soothing sheet mask and it instantly made my face feel cool, calm and relaxed. I keep it in my beauty fridge. 🥥e.l.f. - Coconut Water-Infused Moisturizing Sheet Mask : after being out at the pool over the weekend my face felt dry and a little dehydrated, from the sun and chlorine. I used this mask and not only did it smell so good, like coconuts, my face felt hydrated and moisturized not oily. I allowed the leftover serum to sink-in and it felt relaxed and plump. 🖤e.l.f. - Detoxifying Bubble Sheet Mask : this mask was fun, but also made my face fresh and super clean (no squeaky). It’s charcoal-infused so it draws out impurities and dirt, my pores on my nose looked better after one use. No real scent to this mask, but it was relaxing to feel the bubbles form. I really enjoy these sheet masks and at $2-$4 a mask it’s not a bad price to try them out. I highly recommend them especially the soothing mask.

Lush face mask
The face mask is super minty, the smell is soothing. I really enjoy the tingly feeling that it gives my face. When I wash this mask off, I noticed that my skin felt smooth, and my pores shrunk. I really like how lush have different set of sizes, 4.4oz - 14.95, 11.1oz- 28.95, 21.1 - 39.95. It’s really nice to really try out the small size first. You can also get samples at you lush store. When the mask dries down, it makes my face tight like a clay mask. My big pimple has reduced and improved a lot. Putting this face mask face my face a nice canvas. I highly Recommend using this product if you need some improvements in skin texture or reducing that big pimple. After when I wash my face, my skin felt clean and I really enjoy that. It is a nice way to pamper yourself. LUSH - Mask Of Magnaminty

This mud mask works on cleaning & purifying pores from dirts, oils and makeup residue even on clarifying skin from acne ... after trying I can say first it’s never irritated my skin, works great on cleaning pores which this made them appear smaller, it doesn’t over dry my skin as it contains aloe vera and ginseng, Using at night before my night skincare routine and after many times of using this mask I can tell this will be definitely my favorite
