Hyaluronic Acid Dupes??

Scent: A slight perfume scent Price Point: $52 for 0.57 oz Experience: The directions say to only use this once a day. Since it has BeautyPrep in the name, I prefer using it in the morning since it makes me think of makeup lol. I use it in between essence and serum (if I use another serum in my routine) or moisturizer (if this is the only serum I use). I’ve been used it for a month or so and didn’t see any special effects (more than any other Hyaluronic Acid serum). The serum is lightweight and seamlessly absorbs into my skin and makes it feel hydrated and not sticky. The pump style packaging is very convenient and the glass packaging is very luxe. Scent: None Price Point: $6.80 for 1 oz Experience: Whenever I use this product, I use it both day and nights. I use it in between essence and serum (if I use another serum in my routine) or moisturizer (if this is the only serum I use). I’ve tried using this with and without essence, without using other serum, and various moisturizers, it is such a picky product. It pills so badly with a good amount of products I’ve tried it with. It also can leave the skin feeling sticky if you use too much. It’s also hard to control the amount of serum that comes out of the dropper because it’s so runny and easily splashed out (even when you don’t squeeze the topper for it to come out, it’s so runny it comes out on it’s own). Once you find the perfect ratio and products to make it work, it’s a nice product and does provide a good amount of hydration. Once I got the perfect routine for this to work, I noticed an improvement in a week! But not sure if it’s honestly worth the hassle of trying it with all these various products to make it work. . Overall: I’m meh about both of these products honestly. I do enjoy the Jane Iredale product, but in no way do I think it’s worth $52. Heck, I don’t even think it’d be worth it on sale for half off (I got it free as a gift with purchase from Ulta). The Ordinary HA serum is very finicky and the packaging is difficult. I would recommend the Good Molecules HA serum over these, but if I had to choose between these two, I would suggest trying the Ordinary one because it’s more affordable and can play around with which products to pair it with to make it work.
