GOOD MOLECULES - Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer
Key ingredients: Macadamia Seed Oil, Shea Butter, and a naturally derived silicone alternative. Scent: Price point: $14 for 1.7 oz Experience: The ingredients work together to nourish, smooth and plump, and to protect the skin for environmental factors. This moisturizing primer is more heavy and does take some time for it to sink in. It spreads very easily over the skin so you only need a little bit. This does hydrate my skin like a normal moisturizer, but haven’t noticed any special primer effects. It layers well with sunscreen and other skincare products. My makeup applies smoothly over it. My makeup still looks nice by the end of the day and doesn’t look dry, cakey, or oily. . FIRST AID BEAUTY - Limited Edition Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
Key ingredients: Coconut water (helps hydrate and support skin), Quinoa Protein (helps protect, nurture, and support the skin barrier), and Mineral Blend (helps support skin barrier). Scent: Coconut/Summery Price point: $29 for 1.7 oz Experience: This product has a slight tint to it that helps even out the skin tone without being too much. It’s not enough to count as any coverage but it’s a nice base for a foundation. It gives a slight glow, but it’s not greasy or too much for my combo oily skin. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t feel heavy. I use it as the name states, as both my moisturizer and primer, so it is definitely handy whenever I’m in a rush. It wears well throughout the day and my makeup still looks nice by the end of the day. I’ve been using this during the spring, but I can imagine this would be perfect for any season because it’s the perfect amount of moisture/hydration without being too much for my skin (might not be good for dry skin during the winter though). . Overall: For the experience, I prefer the FAB since it smells so good and provides a really good amount of hydration. I don’t really notice priming effects from either because I can still see my pores around my nose after my makeup, but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve been starting to use primers less and just use moisturizers, so it’s been fun comparing these! Overall though, I prefer the Good Molecules one because the pump style packaging is so convenient when I’m getting ready in the morning (versus the squeeze tube of the FAB). The difference in moisturizing properties doesn’t bother me that much either because my skin isn’t dry normally. The wait time of having to let this dry down isn’t terrible because I can just brush my teeth and get dressed or do other things before I put my sunscreen on. The price difference is also really nice because the GM one is half the price of the FAB one, so I’d rather save in this area!

Coconut 🥥 smoothie primer
This primer is a limited edition by First Aid Beauty, Details and claims: A superfood-powered, oil-free priming moisturizer that visibly brightens and smooths while giving skin a dewy glow. For normal to dry skin, said to help with fine lines and wrinkles, pores, and dryness. Key ingredients: Coconut Water: Helps hydrate and support skin. Quinoa Protein: Helps protect, nurture, and Supports the skin barrier. Mineral Blend: Supports skin health. This is $29.00 at Sephora for 1.7 oz. This is a primer that is two in one. It’s a combination of moisturizer and a primer. It has electrolytes and vital proteins which are amazing for skin. I absolutely love the shimmer it gives and when you apply under a foundation it’s a very pretty barely there glow. It also looks great worn alone which I like a lot. So why only ⭐️⭐️⭐️? Unfortunately, having a super oily T-zone, this primer looked amazing and kept my makeup in place for all of about 2 hours MAX. 😩 I really do wish it worked for me because I love everything about it except for that. I think this primer would be amazing if you have normal to dry skin. I have had much better luck with these : The Ordinary - High-Adherence Silicone Primer e.l.f. - Matte Putty Primer it Cosmetics - Your Skin But Better Makeup Primer+ smashbox - Photo Finish Oil & Shine Control Matte Primer If you deal with an oily T-zone, what’s your favorite primer? 🤔

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
Happy #TextureTuesday y’all! I hope this week is doing you all some good lol 😂 For me, starting tomorrow it will be extra busy until the weekend so 🙃🙃🙃 This lovely lush and yellow texture is brought to you buy the @sundayriley ice ceramide moisturizing cream. I have heard a lot of good things about the brand’s products and a lot of negative things about the brand itself. I have never tried anything from this brand and whenever I went over to their little section at Sephora to test out their infamous oils, I was kind of turned off by their scents. I am very sensitive to smells and I just couldn’t stand how their oils smelled. Maybe because their testing products have been out for a while and maybe it’s bc they went bad? Idk do they normally smell that bad? Anyways, @cherie kindly gifted me this Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream and I was blown away by the packaging. It felt so luxe and heavy and well very promising. As soon as I opened the lid to see the consistency, I smelled play-dough. Like straight up play-dough. Is it just me? 😭 This cream is geared towards normal to dry skin and I have oily skin so I knew instantly that it probably won’t work for me. Y’all she is THICC like T H I C C! This cream is said to be formulated with ceramide that hydrates and strengthens the skin’s barrier from environmental stressors. I tried a pea sized amount and that was more than enough to put all over my face and neck. I tested this cream out in the morning when I went out for a jog in the colder weather and I have to say, it did a great job! Like my face didn’t feel tight at all. It was well moisturizers but I did notice that my face also felt a bit greasy when I came home. And I could still smell the play-dough scent! So I passed this cream to my mom who has dry skin and so far she has been loving it. It comes with this little scooper thing and she says she doesn’t mind the play-dough smell. 🥰 What are your experiences with this brand? I am curious to know if their oils are really HG for people and if so, do they normally smell that bad?

Toner for dry skin!
Toner for dry skin!
This is the CollagenR8 restorative CoQ10 facial toner from herbal dynamics beauty, and it’s a win in my eyes! Because of the CoQ10, it’s intensely hydrating, and I love to use this toner morning or night when I know I’m going to need extra hydration before using acids or stronger serums. It also includes hyaluronic acid which is a great staple for dry skin as well. Especially in the winter, my skin gets really dry around my nose and mouth, and a layer or two of this product under my regular moisturizer and serums is a godsend! The texture is watery, not too thick or viscous that it feels like a serum, and it sinks in really quickly. I also love the scent, which is cucumber based and smells more expensive than it actually is! This is also a great dupe for the Indie Lee toner with the same enzyme, at a fraction of the cost! I would definitely recommend this product!

Delicious/Yummy Smelling Moisturizer 😍🍉💲✔️
Delicious/Yummy Smelling Moisturizer 😍🍉💲✔️
Hey Babes! 👋🏼 I have been using the 🍉 pūrlisse - Watermelon Aqua Balm for the last year or so and I’m not only in love with this product, but the brand as a whole! Purlisse is an Asian based skin care brand by Jennifer Yen. They have a wide variety of skin care and body products that are great. You can find them in popular subscription boxes like Ipsy, BoxyCharm and they are also now on Amazon. 😍😍 Why I like this product: Simply, it works for my oily skin! It’s hydrating enough without irritating my skin or producing more oil. Since there are no acids in this product, it’s also safe to use everyday. This moisturizer is water based and oil free. The gel like consistency is very lightweight and spread easily across the skin. Cruelty-Free: Purlisse is a proud cruelty-free brand and never uses and sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, GMOs and much more! Ingredients: When you first open the moisturizer, you can’t help but take a whiff of the bursting smell of watermelon. It’s like those watermelon candies, minus all the bad stuff. 🍉 Watermelon is a great ingredient to moisturize the skin. It also has 🥒 Cucumber to soothe, 🍃 Aloe Vera to reduce any inflammation and 🍵 White Tea for anti-aging. Price: It’s only $24 for 1.7 fluid ounces OR you can purchase their travel size that’s $15 for 0.34 fluid ounces. (Get the full size one for a better value!) Final Thoughts: I do recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great moisturizer and does not want to spend high prices. It works for all skin types! If you have tried this before, let me know what you think of it in the comments below. Xoxo, Blyssey #purlisse #cheriecreator #skincareproduct #facecream #moisturizer #watermelonmoisturizer

Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer
Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer
☁️ The what: This is the It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream moisturizer. It is available at online retailers, Ulta, and Sephora. It is available in full-size and travel-size (mine is full-size). ☁️ The details: This moisturizer is suitable for oily, sensitive, and dry skin. It’s marketed as a hydrating, anti-aging moisturizer. It includes powerhouse ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides, squalane, antioxidants, and collagen. Most notably, though, are the hyaluronic acid (locks in moisture, improve elasticity and appearance of fine lines + wrinkles), ceramides (boost skin’s barrier), and peptides (promote natural collagen production, reduce appearance of wrinkles). This moisturizer claims to reduce the appearance of pores and even out your skin tone/reduce discoloration. Thanks to the gentle formula, this moisturizer is great for sensitive skin! ☁️ My thoughts: I’ve been using this moisturizer for several months. I have gone through a full size within the last year or so, and am almost finished with this jar. The texture of this moisturizer is so nice - it’s thick but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It hydrates and locks in moisture without leaving my skin feeling greasy, oily, tacky, etc. I have combo leaning more dry skin these days (thank you weather change), and I can attest that this is great for when my skin is oily AND when it’s dry. It has a light, fresh scent that I find soothing. I use AM and PM. I can’t speak to it’s anti-aging properties (I don’t have wrinkles yet), but i can say that it does help even my skin tone and *slightly* diminish pores. There’s a reason this moisturizer is an “OG classic” - it’s great! I would repurchase if I caught it on sale because it’s on the expensive side, but I do think it’s worth the $$. If you’re an Ulta shopper, they often have free gifts with purchase that include samples sizes of this, which are perfect for testing out / traveling. ☁️ The price: $48 for 2 oz. / $16 for 0.5 oz. 4.5/5⭐️

This antipodes product caught my eye whilst walking through myer. i was on the hunt for a sunscreen that would be kind to the planet, and my skin. the packaging is so appealing, with this metal like tube that will look very different to the next persons tube, very stylish :) I tried this sunscreen and fell in love. the texture is creamy, it doesn’t smell like sunscreen at all, it feels thick and hydrating upon application. I found that i don’t need to use a gentle moisturizer underneath this product as it ticks that box for me. On the back of the tube, it states to contain raspberry seed oil which gives you up to 15x the normal time of sun protection... naturally! this product also contains kiwi and grapefruit extract claiming to decrease redness. Also hyaluronic acid and ‘Ancient Reishi mushroom’ is added for hydration, anti aging and cell turnover. I would definitely recommend this product, i use it in the morning before heading out, and find i don’t need to reapply. Only downside would be, it can become quite oily throughout the day, i wouldn’t recommend this product to people with oily skin. Okay!!! This moisturizer is a game changer. For anyone that has used the Weleda Skin Food but may have thought it was too heavy, thick, or greasy...this product is 10/10. This is a lighter formula of the classic Skin Food and I prefer this one way more. I buy this at Target and I believe it is only $18. I use this at night or on no makeup days on my face and neck. It sinks in pretty quickly but leaves your skin glowing all day while still magically controlling oil. It has plant extracts, chamomile, and calendula to calm redness and heal up dry spots. 🌱 I also use this on my body if I have any sunburns or dryness. It has quite a thick consistency when it comes out of the bottle but thins out when you apply it. Skin Food Light works perfectly on my combination skin so I could see it working well for you if you have normal, dry or oily skin. If you have tried this let me know what you thought of it!!! 🌷✨🤍 WELEDA - Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream
