Reverse Nose Contour š¤
Collegeskincare
On Tik Tok, under the #beautyhacks a user named @/georgieclarke had a hack for nose contouring, but in an unique way. I wanted to try this to see if it worked!
.
Materials needed: setting powder, a triangle sponge, warm toned-blush, highlighter, and bronzer.
.
Accomplishes: a contoured nose, but without the hard steps it typically involves.
.
Steps: first, use the triangle sponge to put setting powder down the sides of the nose, brush the warm-toned blush on the center of the nose nose, then use a brush to dust the setting powder off and blend the blush so there arenāt harsh lines, dust highlighter on the bridge of nose and tip, then slightly bronze the septum (the dividing piece of the nostrils, not sure what to call it š).
.
Does it work? I used the KVD Setting Powder and the Smashbox Ablaze Face Palette (for the blush, highlighter, and contour). I used the steps I stated above with the products I just mentioned to try this tip out (the last pic is the whole final look). I had a little bit of a difficult time getting a straight line with the triangle beauty sponge, maybe Iām just not used to using it. My blush was also a little more pigmented than I thought, so I really had to blend to not look like I had a sunburnt nose lol. It was pretty easy to follow the steps though and you donāt need many materials, basically things that you probably already own. For me, this was a lot easier than trying to contour my nose with bronzer! This will definitely be easier once I really get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend this, especially to those that find typical nose contour challenging or want a quick way to get ready in the morning! ā

Zoom Wedding Makeup!
as i posed recently, one of my girls was getting married! hereās my makeup look to zoom in and be a virtual bridesmaid š„°š„°
i started with the NYX - Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand this stuff is great as long as you set it!
then, i moved on to the NYX - Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil which is so good as a light foundation!
e.l.f. - 50 Color Eye & Face Palette i used the contour out of this palette and a light gray to blend into the colors i already had on my eye....
URBAN DECAY - URBAN DECAY Single Eyeshadow this is my favorite eyeshadow of all time. even when i was bad at makeup, this looked good.
Too Faced - Tutti Frutti Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo i broke this unfortunately and had to blend the colors together. itās still a shimmery flush that i donāt even have to use highlighter with ā¤ļø

some new makeup developments for me!
So!
iām not good at contouring, never have been. BUT today, i used bronzer effectively! i was so excited and nervous lol and it came out really pretty and iām very excited about it. i used a lot of too faced stuff for this shiny glowy look (inspired by Bailey Sarianās 90ās makeup look tbh) and overall this was an incident free application process. as usual, many of these products are my favs and i adore them, but i did want to talk a little bit about the MAYBELLINE - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer
i actually meant to buy the concealer when i bought this, but it is the PERFECT summer shade for me. using a wet beauty blender i really pounded it into my skin and honestly, this is the nicest i have ever gotten a foundation to look on me. itās very creamy and buildable, and honestly for 10 dollars how could you go wrong? i have medium skin during the summertime (i tan easily) so darker shades work best for me and honestly, i feel like iām glowing AND have nothing on. Strong recommendation! hope you all have a wonderful day and try this foundation (or any of the other products here) and experiment!

My Everyday Makeup Routine for a Natural Look
Iām a natural-makeup kind of gal all year round. But, I emphasize this in the spring and summer! The warmer weather is the perfect time to emphasize glowy and dewy skin topped off with a glossy lip. Of course, everyoneās different! This is what works for me, though.
I start with this Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot primer. Itās the closest thing I could find to Benefitās iconic POREfessional! The results are almost identical and it costs a fraction of the price.
Then, if Iām using any foundation at all, itās Maybellineās classic Fit Me. This formula has served me well since high school. Since I donāt use foundation too much in the warmer months, this is perfect for a quick look.
For my face, I love Milaniās blushes. Theyāre so cute and the color is nearly perfect for my skin tone. I love the way it blends with my NYX bronzer, too.
For my eyes, Iām still obsessed with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette! Itās super versatile and I love putting Adorn on my lid, Mercury in my crease and Electric in my inner corner.
My eyebrows and lips are the easiest steps. On my brows, I usually just fill them in with a light brown eyeshadow very gently. Or, Iāll simply coat them with this Maybelline clear mascara! It works well on eyebrows, too, when you just want a natural look.
However, if Iām feeling fancy, Iāll go in with Benefitās Gimme Brow. Itās a cult classic for a reason! The application is super easy and it lasts a long time! I just donāt have one on me right now. Quarantine lifeš¤·š¼āāļø.
Even though Iām spending a lot of time inside in my sweats these days, I like to pamper myself with a light makeup look on some days! Thatās why Iāve been focusing on using up my drugstore products vs splurging on anything super expensive. But, some exciting stuff is in the works from our favorite brands! Iām soooo excited to review thoseš.

2020 Summer āSweet Treatsā Themed Makeup
For those of us who live in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is just around the corner, and things are already heating up, and itās not just the weather, honey!
In the next few months, half the world will be heading into springtime, and that brings fresh fashion, bright colours, and fierce makeup with it.
Hereās how you can create a quick, easy, āsweet treatsā themed makeup look to match your shining summertime personality.
Complexion Work:
For my base makeup, I used REVOLUTION - Fast Base Stick Foundation in shade F3.
I concealed with the help of REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer in shade C1.
I contoured my cheeks using Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Contour Kit, in shade light/medium.
I then applied a soft layer of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette shade Leena.
I also used NYX - Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in āMermaid Amourā for an iridescent shine.
Colourful Sweet Treats Eye Makeup:
Moving on to the eyes, I used theMORPHE - The James Charles Palette for the whole look. I started off by packing on āPinkity Drinkityā onto the inner half of my eyelid and crease. I then took a light dab of āSkipā, then more Pinkity Drinkity on the same brush to deepen the shade slightly and make it more of a soft but vibrant pink. For darker skin tones, you may want to use more Skip to create a brighter colour.
Next up is shade ā518ā, which I took on a small blending brush and packed onto the outer corner of my eyelid, sweeping inward diagonally toward my lash line. Similarly, I pulled that orange shade outwards towards the tail of my brow, and softly blended it into my pink shadows. I also pulled some of 518 onto the outer third of my lower lash line.
To complete the lower lash line, I used shade āBeeā to bring some lightness and brightness to the inner portion of my eye, blending it into 518 along the way.
For a final pop of summery colour, I packed shade āHelloā onto a small pencil brush, and spritzed it with a setting spray, before packing it onto the inner corner of my eye. The super shiny effect of the shadow and its lustrous, tropical colour really added a fun and fabulous edge to the themed look.
I finished the eyes off with a little black eyeshadow on the outer half of my upper lash line, and some MAYBELLINE - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara on my lashes, and there you have it! A quick, easy summer makeup look for all levels of makeup lovers.

Current Drugstore Favourites
With all of the different brands and products out there it can be really hard to find quality products for a reasonable price. These are my current favourite beauty buys that are guaranteed to become your go-toās, and the best part? They are all from the drugstore so wonāt cost you an arm and a leg!!
FLOWER - Flower Pots Powder Blush
This blush is easy to blend, has buildable coverage and the formula is super creamy and buttery. Itās not super pigmented but I prefer it like this so I can build up the colour and avoid applying too much.
REVOLUTION - Foil Frenzy Eyeshadow Palette
These arenāt like typical foil eyeshadows that Iāve tried where they are difficult to apply and end up looking creased on my hooded eyes. The colours are gorgeous and super pigmented and creamy. Although itās only foiled pigments in the palette thereās a good range of colours and Iāve been using it almost every day!
Quick Beauty - Eyeliner Stamp Intense Black
Iāve been using this on mornings when Iām in a rush. The liner itself dries matte and doesnāt smudge or transfer to my eyelid as well. They have a few different sizes to choose from, I have been using the āTo The Pointā liner which is the perfect thickness for my hooded eyes.
L'ORĆAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
I have gone through a few bottles now and it never fails to make my eyelashes thicker and longer. It reminds me of the āBetter Than Sexā mascara because of the thick wand and I find it makes it easier to apply and also less time consuming.
MAYBELLINE - FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter
I absolutely love the formula of this highlighter! Itās super buttery and buildable and gives the best glow. For those with fair complexion be careful of applying too much because it is a little too dark for my tone, but I usually mix it in with a cool toned highlighter to avoid this.
SPOT MEDIC - Hydrocolloid Mask
I use these on days when I know Iām not leaving home or over night. For smaller blemishes they are great at reducing inflammation and redness. For larger cystic acne I donāt see a great difference however it prevents me from picking at my skin hence why Iāve been using them so much!
