✨Didn’t Live Up to the Hype for Me✨
I have typically oily skin that occasionally breaks out or gets dry spots. This is a cream, matte bronzer that adds some warmth and dimension to the face and body. I got this in a Milk Makeup set a few years back that Sephora accidentally sent me instead of my order. This is the shade Baked. It’s a mini, so it’s only 0.23 oz/ 6.5 g. It’s really easy to place this in the area that you want it in because of the packaging. I love the convenience of cream bronzers, but they’re never pigmented enough for me. This one just disappears on the face as soon as you start to blend it. The third pic is in my hallway lighting (since my bathroom is too harsh) by itself on top of foundation. The fourth and fifth pic are of the final look (with blush and highlighter) in natural lighting. After I’m done blending, it’s basically nothing on my face anymore. It has a strange clay scent that is pretty strong and pretty tacky and can be hard to blend and can take some work. I don’t like this product because it’s not the sort of bronzer/contour that I go for, I prefer a darker one. I would recommend this to those looking for a more natural look. I personally don’t think this is worth the price or effort because it’s not the type of look I prefer, but it would be for those looking for a natural look. Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer

Easy Makeup Routine and Milk Makeup Review
In the past 2 years I’ve made my makeup much more minimal and natural (not to say I don’t go all out for special events though!). Here’s my go to products! PS: I buy most things in mini because they go bad before I’d even come close to finishing them in full size! Plus it’s more travel friendly. ⭐️Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I have this in the color Werk. I LOVE IT, the color is great and it’s buildable. The reason for 4 stars is that I wish it was a little softer to blend and the smell is not great. TIP: Buy the mini versions! You’ll never get through a large one before it expires/goes bad. ⭐️Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer I believe this comes in one color but it’s great for warming up the face a little. I apply it on my cheek bones, forehead, and sometimes my jawline/sides of nose. I often use this on my eyelids too for a monochromatic look. 4 stars for same reason as the one above. —Both of these products are easy to use and are super travel friendly. You just need your finger tips to apply! 💩Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara I wanted to love this but after 2 failed tries, I just can’t. I bought the full size version when it first came out but after applying/drying, small black flecks would fall off my lashes onto my face/eyes. Recently I got the mini version for redemption but I still run into the same issues as well as it reactivating and becoming wet due to condensation from my face mask. This guy is just a no go. ⭐️URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara My new favorite mascara is this one! It makes my lashes look great and I haven’t had any issues with it! Totally recommend and it builds up nicely in 2-3 coats without making lashes clumpy. ⭐️KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner No other liner can compare. The brush on this makes the cleanest lines and it lasts all day. My only issue is how shiny it dries down to, I just wish it was more matte! 💩ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel It’s too thick and easily becomes clumpy. It looks heavy on the brow hairs and has a chalky finish. For some reason it’s incredibly difficult to take off with makeup remover, I feel like I’m scrubbing my brows off. Stick to Anastasia’s other brow products and pass on this one. I’m considering Glossier’s boy brow. My brows are blondish and not thick so open to recommendations too 😂 These few products make for a quick and easy natural look! I’m still on he hunt for a brow product and highlighter though! Would love to hear anyone else’s natural look favorites!
Testing Hyped Products: Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out
FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer I finally gave in and decided to try this bronzer from Fenty Beauty (only after my ride or die Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer started to cause breakouts 😭) The first couple times I tried this, I found it to be stiff and not the easiest to blend out. I prefer to use a brush rather than a sponge to blend and my trick for easier application is to warm the product up either by lightly swirling your fingers over the pan or -this sounds weird but works- using your blow dryer for a few seconds to warm it up! Then I use a brush to work it in. It’s very natural and works great on minimal makeup days but it can also be built up!! Because my skin tone is light, I prefer the more neutral tone of the Fenty, bronzer over the warmer tone of the MILK bronzer, but I would say the MILK formulation is a bit easier to work with overall!
I’ve been diving more into cream products lately. These are some of my favorites. My favorite cream blush is probably the Kosas cream blush duos. They’re pigmented, creamy, dewy and glowy! Just amazing! Favorite cream bronzer of all time is Chanel Bronze De Soleil. It’s beautiful! Has a gorgeous tone and the formula is long lasting. I’ve been loving the Hourglass concealer so so much! It’s completely full coverage, but it does not make me look dry like other full coverage concealers do. My foundation is the Lilah.b Marvelous Matte Creme Foundation. My skin is very dry and this foundation does not make me look dry at all! It agrees so well with my skin! It’s amazing! I’ve also been loving the 10 Second Eyeshadow. It’s super easy to apply. Perfect for a quick look. I appreciate the most this during the week, when I have to run to work. Lastly is my babe, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I can not live without it!
milk makeup bronzer
the product: Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer the rating: 4/5, i wish it was a little less orange-warm but perhaps i have the wrong color the ingredients: mango butter and avocado oil the review: its a lovely creamy bronzer that is easy to apply and blend into skin. i tend to use it for contouring, but sometimes i find it a little too warm and orange if im pale, like it winter. for summer, i would definitely pick up a darker shade with hopefully a cooler undertone. it is good bronzer thats also good for skin! the price: $28 for 1 oz, the stick goes forever

Pixi Beauty Blush Duo
I have typically oily skin that occasionally breaks out or gets dry spots. I have a light skin tone with neutral undertones and acne scars along the sides of my cheeks. This is a blush and highlighter duo that is made from a natural mineral formula that is hydrating, long-wearing, and light-diffusing. I got this in an Ipsy bag back when I was still subscribed in fall 2018 so it didn’t come with the Kabuki brush. This is the color Peach Honey. This is one of the worst blushes I’ve ever used. It literally has no pigment. You can sort of see it on the left side of my swatch in the third pic, but not really. The highlighter isn’t much better. I will usually blend these together to try and get some sort of pigment, but it doesn’t transfer at all to the cheeks. It stinks because the color in the pan is so bright and pretty. I’ve given up on trying to use this as a blush because there’s no payoff from this. It works better as a blush topper or highlight. I wouldn’t recommend this nor do I enjoy it for its purpose, it has little to no color payoff and isn’t pigmented. You can’t even see it in the swatches in daylight. Pixi is a more expensive drugstore brand and this product isn’t worth the money or time to have to play with it to try and get it to work because it’s so expensive, you’d think it’d work easily. pixi - Beauty Blush Duo + Kabuki Price: $18 for 0.36 oz of blush + Kabuki brush Rating: 1/5

Cheek Kiss 💋
Spring & summer is approaching, which means lighter makeup for me! I enjoy wearing a full beat - full coverage, powder, contour, and the whole nine yards, but that can feel pretty heavy in the warmer months, not to mention potentially melt off. For this reason, I like to stick to a lighter beat that still serves that full beat look but doesn’t FEEL like it. I generally accomplish this by using cream products and I especially love multi purpose products (products that can be used for cheeks, lips and eyes). I’m a busy mom of two and work 6 days a week - I don’t have time for 20 steps or to look for 50 different products during my routine. Milani Cosmetics just recently launched an array of products ranging from foundation to lip scrubs, and one of their new products is the new Cheek Kiss liquid blush. This multi purpose product can be applied to the apples of your cheek or onto your lips - it is a sheer, but buildable formula, allowing you to have control of how much of a flush you’d like to have. My favorite way to apply this product is with a damp beauty sponges; I usually dispense a bit of product on the back of my hand, dot it on the apples of my cheeks and blend. Also infused with ingredients such as pomegranate, rose extract and watermelon extract, making it a hydrating formula so it will not adhere to dry patches or enhance the appearance of texture. These gorgeous liquid blushes are available in six shades that are wearable, flattering and inclusive to all skin tones. You can find these available for purchase on Milani’s website or at Ulta for just $9.99.

Also it comes with the mirror & very convenient to carry around! Texture is very silky to touch but not too Powderly👏🏻 It is pigmented & layers on skin so easily. ✨Just because I love skincare doesn’t mean I don’t LOVE makeup too. Pictured are a few of my favorites✨ - lauragellerbeauty highlight palette was purchased for $5.99! All three of these shades are GORGEOUS and I’m truly obsessed. Plus, the value is insane! Even though I’m very fair, I think that all three shades can work for my skin tone. Next up for my growing highlight obsession is the smashbox x thehoodwitch crystal highlight. TBH I mainly bought for the packaging (oops 😏) but the highlight is stunning - it has a subtle holographic glow. - milkmakeup cream blush in the shade ‘perk’ is a shimmery coral shade which is bright & cheery. The formula is great & blends easily - also, cream blushes are my new favorite thing when I’m not down to wear a bunch of powder. - firstaidbeauty bendy avocado concealer (mine is in the shade ‘bone’) provides nice coverage, blends out easily & stays put throughout the day. -
