Not fungal acne safe 😞

The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
This product does contain Urea which helps fight fungal acne but it also contains Polysorbate 20 which triggers fungal acne ☹️ I didn’t notice any change while using this product but that’s probably because I’m prone to fungal acne breakouts 🤪 Update - I’m just using it up on my legs and they do feel smooth and soft! Still wouldn’t repurchase but I found a use 💃🏽

January’s Empties
As 2021 gets started, I wanted to dig into what I’m rebuying and what I’m ditching with the dumpster fire of 2020. DERMA•E - Scalp Relief Conditioner NOT A REBUY While I appreciated the more neutral scent and formulation of these products, I found that this conditioner didn’t provide enough moisture. My hair was feeling a little straw like. DERMA•E - Scalp Relief Shampoo NOT A REBUY I liked the shampoo more than the conditioner since it gave you that cooling feeling. It didn’t exacerbate my dry scalp or cause more dandruff for my bf (he gets eczema on his scalp and major flake), however it made my hair a little squeaky and messed with my natural wave texture. PACIfICA - Kale Luxe Oil-Free Multi Cream NOT A REBUY I’ve said my opinions on this one in a previous post, but it wasn’t my favorite moisturizer. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution REBUY This is the only toner I’ll be using for the foreseeable future. It definitely helps clear up acne and scarring. *chefs kiss* DR. BRONNER'S - Peppermint Organic Lip Balm REBUY I like this lip balm a lot. It’s not very occlusive and includes a lot of nourishing oils. It’s good for every day and I’ll definitely get another.

Chemical vs. Physical Exfoliants
Why exfoliate? The dead skin cells on your face dull your complexion, clog your pores, and cause breakouts—and sloughing them away is the first step to brighter and smoother skin. Exfoliating is basically a part of the basic skincare regimen. The most common exfoliating products are topical scrubs—physical exfoliants. But if you are feeling more serious than ever about your skincare regimen, then consider switching over to a chemical exfoliant. These work much deeper and far more effectively than a superficial scrub. Some of my favorite physical and chemical Exfoliants are: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution PETER THOMAS ROTH - Peptide 21 Amino Acid Exfoliating Peel Pads GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder pixi - Peel & Polish Let me know your fav exfoliant in the comments. Would love to know!

Adding this to my nightly routine has clarified my skin in a way I didn’t think was possible. Don’t recommend if you have sensitive skin but after 4 days I started to see change, especially with my acne scars. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

Glycolic as Deodorant?!
Glycolic as Deodorant?!
So I’ve been using this The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution It’s been about a month of me using it on my face, neck, chest and arms. This formula is going to mildly exfoliate with continued use. It’s also supposed to improve skin radiance and skin clarity. I use it strictly at night only because I have oily/acne prone skin and this tends to make my skin more oily. I will say it did help with some dark spots that I have suffered from around my cheek area but it hasn’t done much of anything else for me. I will also say that’s it’s made my skin sensitive when I apply it.... to the point that I actually can’t apply any of my other serums like my Niacinamide at night because my skin will burn and get very irritated. Deodorant?! - Surprisingly one day I wiped the toner on my armpits and I noticed that I didn’t smell throughout the day at all! Since then I’ve been wiping it on my armpits in the morning without applying deodorant after and have been smell free since. ( I went on 2 walks in 1 day in 90 degree weather literally sweating and I did not smell at all which was a shock because I have pretty bad body odor when I don’t apply deodorant) In all I will be discontinuing the use of this acid toner for the pure reason that I didn’t see much of a change in my skin and it makes my skin to sensitive for other products BUT if you suffer from bad B.O I would definitely recommend giving this a shot for combating the smell. Love from yours + the ordinary glycolic acid💖
Love from yours + the ordinary glycolic acid💖
I start using this product a week ago and I feel and see the difference. I’m always searching for a good product my face is combination skin and so easy to break out, even sometimes water change or climate change can make my face breakout and it so upsetting me because I love travelling. So I use several innisfree products before and I only can use Bija series, but I cannot use the toner, i use bija toner in the night and next morning the red spots come and I feel the acne come out. I always looking for good toner, serum, and cream. I bought The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% but unlucky me, I can’t using the Niacinamide. The product make my face break out on the 3rd day of using this product So I see an ads in Instagram about this product, you have to take an assessment about you and your skin first. They have a whatsapp chat so you can consult about your problem with theirs first before you buy the product love from yours. - Day & Night Skincare Set So I bought this set with doubt ‘can this product suit me?’ 1st day: there is no significant difference but I feel my skin texture is better 2nd day: there is no irritation or acne problem And I using it for a week and I pleased with the result💖 I hope this review can help anyone with the same concern with me💖💖

Great for Fungal Acne
Great for Fungal Acne
I’m so happy I have a jumbo size of Pixi’s Glow Tonic. This got rid of my fungal acne a few months ago and I’ve never seen it back on my face since. This doesn’t sting like other active toners and really smooths the complexion so your skin can glow. I highly recommend this product. Love this is stuff!
