NEW Sephora Best Skin Ever Review
The Sephora best skin ever foundation just dropped and I am obsessed. I was gifted this product before it dropped and I have been able to test it out a few times. First off I am very impressed with this shade range, they did a great job creating colors for all skin tones and all undertones. I am the shade 35N. There are so many great things about this foundation. First off it’s very buildable and it feels light on the skin. The product claims to be medium coverage and long wearing and I definitely agree. I’ve worn this foundation for over eight hours and it still looked great. I would describe it as a soft matte finish. I don’t apply my foundation with sponges, only brushes, but it went on nice and smooth with a dense brush. I love how this foundation is only $20, that is a great price for a quality foundation. If you are looking for a new foundation I would definitely recommend this one.
XMONDO Wavetech Foam Review
The XMONDO Wavetech foam definitely surprised me. This foam claims to define waves/curls while keeping them bouncy and soft. After using it on both my curly hair and my straight hair, I can confirm that this is one on my new go-to’s. I love using this foam on my curls because it defines them without adding the crunch. Not to mention this is one of the best smelling hair products I own. I recently started using it to smooth down my wigs as well and it’s been performing great in that area too. Now $27 for a foam is quite expensive in my opinion. It is cruelty free, sulfate and vegan, so you are paying for a quality product. However, there are other foams on the market that have the same ingredients, work well for my hair, and aren’t as expensive. I was gifted this item but I don’t think I would repurchase it solely because of how expensive it is. Overall, this is a great product and if it’s in your budget I would definitely recommend it.
Elf Matte Putty Primer Review...worth the hype?
I heard so many people raving about this primer so I had to give it a try. It was super inexpensive so I thought “why not.” I don’t typically use primer because my makeup goes on fine without it, but I wanted to see if it would make a difference. This primer claims to matting your skin, and I personally prefer a matte finish. The texture isn’t too think and I used my fingers to blend it into my sin. I also didn’t have any issues with it leaving a white cast on my skin. I then applied my makeup like I regularly would. Honestly I didn’t notice a difference the first time I used it. My makeup turned out as it typically does. I also didn’t see how the primer was “matifying.” My face had accumulated oil after a few hours just like it typically does. However, when I used it a second time, I applied a lot more than I did the first. This time, I actually did keep my skin matte for most of the day. In order for this product to perform its best, I would recommend going a little heavy handed with it. Overall, I think this primer works well, especially for its price. My makeup turned out great, and I saw a difference when applying the right amount. I would rate this product a 7.9/10 and would recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable primer.
Keracare Shampoo and Conditioner
Shampoo and conditioner is like the foundation to a good wash n’ go. It’s always hard for me to find a shampoo that doesn’t dry out my hair, and a conditioner that actually moisturizes. The Keracare Curlessence Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner really surprised me in those departments. The shampoo didn’t leave my hair brittle, and the conditioner made my curls super soft. I found that my hair was moisturized and soft even after rinsing out the products! This company sent me these products for PR. I don’t know too much about the ingredients, but I know they are sulfate and paraban free. This was my first time using these products and I definitely l will be reaching for them more often. I used the conditioner as a deep conditioner by leaving it in for five minutes and putting on a shower cap. I noticed that this made the conditioner a lot more effective and locked in the moisture for a lot longer. This is a product I would re-purchases because it is affordable and great for curly hair!KERACARE - CurlEssence Moisturizing Shampoo
