5 Reasons Why I Love TO’s Niacinamide Serum
I first heard about The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum when I was searching for brightening serums last year. While my combination skin rarely ever breaks out, I do have some dark marks left over from the occasional pimples that I would like to disappear, or at least, improve in appearance. So I ordered TO’s Niacinamide Serum, crossing my fingers and hoping that it’s actually effective. It’s been almost a whole year later and I’m already on my third bottle of this serum. I have to say, I love it more and more as time goes by! Here are the 5 reasons why. 1. It lightens up my dark spots. It’s not a very dramatic change, mind you, but it does lighten my dark spots quite noticeably. I guess I’ll have to use a few more bottles of this serum if I want to completely lighten them. 2. It smoothens my skin’s texture. I can't believe just how nice it is to glide your fingers over your skin and not feel any bumps! 3. It provides much-needed moisture. My skin never feels dry when I have this serum on. I think it’s successful in locking in the moisture from my essence, too. 4. It doesn’t make my skin oily. Even though it moisturizes my skin, it doesn’t make my face look oily or greasy. This is very important to me because I really like keeping my face matte. 5. It makes me look fresh in the morning. Who doesn’t like seeing that healthy glow on their face when they wake up in the morning? Definitely not me! Can you guess what my overall rating is? 💋💋💋💋💋 5 out of 5 kisses! I really enjoy using this product and I think I’ll keep using it for the future, at least until I find a worthy replacement. Hopefully not, though! If you have some dark spots and you’re having a hard time reducing their appearance, you may want to try out The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum! You can get it for only $5.90 on the Cherie website! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Have you tried this product before? Loved it, hated it? Let me know in the comments!

my first and only beauty gadget (so far) ✨
Like many people on this app, I get really excited when new skincare/beauty products hit the market. I especially love products that are technology based. So when the Clarisonic devices started becoming more popular, I knew I had to try one out! 💫 I decided to purchase the clarisonic - MIA 2 FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH (their newest device at the time) because it had two speeds, was compatible with all the brush heads, and came in this beautiful pattern 😍 I was using the clarisonic - Deep Pore Cleansing Brush Head as well. Even though this was a very hyped up device, I want to be completely honest about opinions on this. I really did enjoy using my Clarisonic; it cleaned and exfoliates my skin well and left me with a glow 🤩 however, this is not a product that can be used everyday and I wished I would’ve taken the time to research that before hand (lesson learned 🥴). The price point is a bit steep and is not accessible to most people. Plus, the heads have to be changed out every three months and they are not cheap! So that’s a lot of money spent; but it also creates a lot of waste in our environment. I wish companies like this would create a recycling program for their products to reduce the waste that is damaging our earth 🌍 This thing is hard to clean! I eventually started realizing some yucky gunk building up on the face of it where the heads lock in and it took me such a long time to clean it out because of how the device is created. I started to feel like I was smearing bacteria all over my face. Anyone else share a similar experience? 🤨 It does, however, have an amazing battery life which I appreciated a lot. I honestly hate having to constantly charge my tech devices, so that was a huge plus for me. All in all, my experience with the Clarisonic was good but tbh, this is a device I would leave to the pros to use. It’s great for exfoliation, but you can easily over-exfoliate with something like this, so be mindful of that of you are considering one. It became super hard to clean/disinfect and the price is not for the average person (device $100+/heads $25+ - needs to be changed every 3mos = $100+ every year!) What are your thoughts on this? I’ve been considering a PMD cleansing device but not sure if I want to spend the money just yet 😄 #CheriePost

Exfoliate & let your skincare penetrate deeper!
Multi use skincare device that actually works! Use this ultrasonic skin spatula to exfoliate, moisturize, and lift your skin! VANITY PLANET - Essia Ultrasonic Lifting & Exfoliating Wand The ESSIA is a skin spatula that has 3 different functions depending on the side of the spatula and setting. Exfoliate by using the spatula facing down to help extract and unclog pores with the help of high frequency vibration. + this definitely works and I’ve seen results from it, but don’t expect this to work on stubborn clogged pores. Be very gentle with this setting. Moisturize by using keeping the spatula flat and gently dragging across the skin. Apply your skincare and select this setting to help skincare sink in deeper thanks to those high frequency vibrations. + this is my favorite setting because I truly see better results with my serums when using this. Lift by repeating the same as moisturize. The high-frequency patterns are different than the moisturize setting to help decrease fine lines! Vanity planet always has a discount code so you can easily get this device at a more affordable price! #cheriepartner

Boujiee skincare nights✨
Well this was recorded before I gave my final verdict on May Lindstrom’s Blue Cocoon, so at this time it was still on my trial period; I have a full dedicated review to it, if you want more info please read it🙏🏼😌 Let’s start reviewing: ARCONA - Night Worker I just wish it was a true serum. Other than that it smells nice, like peaches or apricot; it’s mostly clean and has really good sourced ingredients; made in the USA; it’s a smaller company and they produce products freshly. The consistency is like a cream so if you have dry skin/normal or combo/dry, this will work greatly for you as it doesn’t irritate at all. Also the Vitamin C is stable as the container is completely opaque and has a pump which is also great. Definitely see some brightening action and smoothing of the fine lines in my forehead. SkinMedica - Retinol Complex 1.0 It is really gentle for being a 1%, I assume it’s due to it being encapsulated retinol, which means it gets released slowly and not all at once. Definitely no irritation even when I use my DE glycolic serum/gel and followed it with this. I just wished, again, that the consistency was more thin. Other than that great formula and packaging keeps everything stable as well. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 I feel like it has definitely help with my acne, as I started breaking out due to hormonal imbalances and this helped greatly. I do however like the Good molecules Niacinamide as it’s cheaper and has zero stickiness to it and absorbs quicker. I am mixing this with my Chanel Le Blanc lotion and that helps this product sink in way faster as well as to not have that sticky feeling. facetheory - Regena C20 Serum I have to further keep using it, but right now it has given me zero irritation, has great ingredients and other brighteners besides vit C and sinks right in. may lindstrom skin - The Blue Cocoon Please read my review on this. BURT’S BEES - Rosewater Toner Love it, great for texture! Wish it had less alcohol. Chanel Le Blanc Lotion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As usual, 5 stars, I have reviewed it multiple times and just can’t get over what a great product it is. Aesop - Gentle Facial Cleansing Milk It’s okay. Nothing exorbitant. I would say it’s good if you have really dry skin or for the winter months. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Smoothing Gel Exfoliator 150ml Smells great, leaves my skin soft as a baby’s behind, really small exfoliating beads, none irritating, good price, lasts a long time and doubles as cleanser after taking your makeup off, of course. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask For now I give it 4 stars as I need to use it for a longer period of time. Good thing’s about it: doesn’t irritate or make my eyes water, hydrates and smoothens. Wish it wasn’t in a jar.

Some newbies in a silver & gold theme. ▪️Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Foundation & Primer. First impressions of the foundation is that it’s superb. Really lightweight, semi-matte in a comfortable way. The primer I’m kind of not feeling it fully but needs more testing with other foundations . ▪️Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizer Icebow. This was a new shade only available in a set. I normally hate buying a set for one item but I love their Rare Light Luminzers and haven’t tried the concealer yet. ▪️May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon. I grabbed a new jar so I would have it in the fall. The free Youth Dew promo was too good to pass up. ▪️Allies of Skin Bright Future Sleeping Facial. This is the new reformulated version. No pilling 🙌 Use this for 2-3 nights in a row as a powerful brightener. ▪️Primera Miracle Seed Essence. I finally caved and grabbed it. Light slippery texture, nice glass bottle. ▪️SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream. This has a thick texture but it’s actually pretty light. Great for soothing and repairing. ▪️Byredo Chai Candle. Warm & spicy.

HOW I CLEARED “MASKNE” BLACKHEADS w| ONE TOOL✨
Every summer my nose forms blackheads due to the combination of heat and makeup wear. This summer was no different but WORSE due to the consistent mask wearing in the hot heat. I tried the double cleansing method and nose-pore strips but nothing seemed to work until I ordered this little tool off of Amazon: Product: GUGUG - Skin Scrubber $25 What is it? Skin scrubber used for cleansing, lifting and more. How do I use it to remove blackheads? -First I start of with a completely cleansed face. -I than open up my pores by tapping a hot face cloth all over my face. (I have also used serums before using the tool directly on my face but I prefer the first method.) -Next, I use the tool on the cleaning mode and scrape my skin in sections. Make sure you are using the tool at a 45 degree angle and stroke upwards if possible. In order to remove the dirt etc. trapped in the pores, you will need to apply some pressure to the area. -Lastly, (this step is optional) I like to close / shrink my pores by applying an ice roller/ ice cube all over the area I cleansed. Do I recommend? The results are so incredible I would definitely recommend to anyone going through a similar struggle. I was a little skeptical first about the price but the tool does what it says. Also, you are not only getting a pore cleansing tool. There are 3 other modes to experiment with. What’s your secret to blackhead removal? Have you/would you use a similar tool?⬇️
