Bronzer or blush? I want both!
In terms of bronzer and blush, they’re both makeup products used on cheeks. They can both add points to your makeup finish. However, their definite target and applying area are different. At first, you should know differences and proper usage. I define their difference in three aspects. As to the applying area, blush is usually applied on your cheeks, bronzer is usually applied on your cheekbones and around the perimeter of your face, like your temples and forehead, basically the places where the sun typically hits. Secondly, as to the purpose. Blush brightens up your face and highlight your visage, while bronzer gives you the perfectly sun-kissed glow. If you love the tanning skin tone, maybe bronzer is your must-have cosmetics. Thirdly, about the color. Most blushes are pink, purple and red while bronzers are usually different types of brown. Compared with bronzer, blush is more wearable and universal. However, bronzer could give you a tanning look without the risk of sunburnt. This is my fav bronzer and blush. You can see their obvious difference from the pics. Since my skin tone is light, I prefer slight red blush to add some fresh complexion. I will apply the blush on my cheeks and blend it around. I pick CLINIQUE’s fig pop as its color is very special and looks vivid. As to the bronzer, I love Benefit’s HOOLA, which is very famous and well-recommended by many Ins celebrities. HOOLA has a small brush in it, but I prefer to use my own bronzer brush. I usually apply it across my cheekbones, down the sides of nose, hairline and beneath the jawline, to give me an instant, natural-looking tan. Also, I use it as an everyday contour which could enhance my glow and define my features. Do you prefer blush or bronzer? Or do you have wonderful blush or bronzer products to recommend? Affordable & Amazing!
Lately, I bought some K-beauty and J-beauty products and added them on my daily makeup routine. I have to say, they are quite good! Bronzer - Surratt Artistique Blush #Grisaille surratt - Artistique Blush: I use it as a bronzer instead of a blush. This is a natural shade of a beautiful grayish color. Its fine powder can create a perfect makeup look. Blush - Clinique Nude Pop CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush: This is a blush that is suitable for all sorts of makeup and it can be used to create a nude or peachy blush. 😊 Because it is not very pigmented, you can brush away with it. It's very glossy, so you don't even need to use a highlighter on cheek bones. The powder is fine and it feels good when applied. Highlighter - Shiseido PK107 : Not only is it able to brighten up the triangle area under your eyes, it can also lighten your dark circles, creating a more refreshed look. It also gives you more refined makeup. I can't live without it!💕 Eyebrow Pencil - Shu Uemura Hard Formula : This is very worth its price and very easy to use. Eye Primer - NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base NARS - Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base: After using this eye primer, my eyeshadows appear more pigmented and don't easily crease. Eyelash Curler - MUJI : It's very easy to use and very portable. The product is also very suitable for my eye shape. Eyeshadow - Etude House X HERSHEY'S Palette : I wanted to buy it when I saw its ad on Instagram because I love chocolate colors. It's very cute and has a faint chocolate smell. The overall shade is reddish so it may look smudgy when applied.
Blush Battle! JOUER VS. CLINIQUE
I've bought 2 blushes recently and both of them are gorgeoussssssss🥰🥰🥰 Jouer - Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette The #Adore Me shade is a dusty peach while the #Hold Me shade is a nude peach. They are both my favorite shades. The colors don't show through very easily, but they blend gorgeously on my cheeks when being built up. I have a lighter skin tone and Adore Me is suitable for all kinds of makeup, plus it brightens my complexion and is especially suitable for summer. This shade also suits darker skin tones. #Hold Me is nuder in comparison and gives a more elegant look. The color rendering is even lower, which is why I like to apply them together. CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush #20 Sorbet Pop Unlike Jouer's #Adore Me, which is mainly nude with a little peach, this one is mainly peach-pink. It inherits the pros of the cheek pop blush series, such as the refined powder, excellent color rendering, and easy blending. If you are a sucker for peach shade, you must not miss out on this one!

How to: NOT Cover-Up Your Freckles
When I was little my mom used to tell me my freckles were angel kisses or they were stars of the night sky that sparkle on my cheeks. That being said, I don’t want to cover them up. Here are my tips & tricks ☀️ Start off with SPF. This goes for everyone, but those with fair-skin and freckles are subsuptible to sun damage. I recommend Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 ☀️ Use a light, but buildable foundation ☀️☀️☀️ Do not apply foundation fo areas with lots of freckles. For me this is my nose and under my eyes. I will blend the foundation into these areas. If the only foundation you own is full coverage try mixing half foundation and half moisturizer to sheer it out☀️☀️☀️ FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Stick Foundation I use the shade Beige ☀️ Use precision when concealing. Don’t be generous with your concealer. Use it to spot treat areas without covering up clear-skin around it. e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer (SHAPE TAPE DUPE!!!) ☀️ Blush & Bronzer. Blush will not hide, but give your skin and freckles a healthy glow. I like to use cream blushes because they are easy to build. Beware with bronzer not to use too heavy of a product that will blend the freckles into one. Use a fluffy brush to prevent this. benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set ☀️Highlight never hurt nobody @cherie @CheriePick
How to contour a round face: here’s my secret😬
Being a round face, I kinda enjoy people’s compliments of how I usually look cute and young. But it is an obstacle when I wanna try out some mature and sexy style. So at this time, contouring powders and technique are there to help me out. Today I want to share with you how I usually contour my round face to make it appear a little longer and slimmer. These are my tricks to adding definition of my face features. · What I will use: ◇ Bronzer: hoola from Benefit ◇ Highlighter: liquid highlighter in the shade “Champagne pop” from Becca ◇ Blush: Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette in the shade “Adore” from Jouer Cosmetics · Steps of contouring the face: 1. The first step is to emphasize your cheekbones since I believe most round-face girls are bothered by soft and rounded features on their faces. To achieve that, you want to first suck in your cheeks in the mirror to find the right area to start applying the bronzer powder with the brush it comes with. 2. Another place to use bronzer is where around your temples. Narrowing these two sides will make your face visually slimmer. Just use your brush to draw a “C” shape on both sides. 3. Next, use you finger to apply the liquid highlighter in three areas: under-eye area, the middle part of your forehead and also your chin. 4. And here comes the blush: use the blush to connect the areas of bronzer and highlighter and make sure they are blended out in a natural way. It would be a good idea to dab a little of the product on your chin. 5. Finally, it would be better if you could use a large face powder brush to blend all the products on your face to make sure there are no clear boundaries. · Some more tips: As you can see from my swatch, my chosen products are rather in the same undertone of golden and yellowish color. In this way they look more harmonious when used together. If you somehow use too much product, you could always save it by applying enough face powder to blend!
Rainbow highlighter 🌈 💚💙
I am a highlighter collector. One of my dream is to collect all colors of highlight. Lol. I've bought pink highlighter palettes of CPB, purple highlighter sticks and pink highlighter palettes of Fenty beauy before. Today, I want to compare two Japanese brands, Shiseido and Illamasqua. Shiseido was bought on Nordstrom's official website, and Illamasqua was bought from Amazon. I have run out of one Shiseido, the color called pk107. This is my second pk107. It should be one of my favorite highlighter. I always wear then under my eyes and on my chin. You can find the blue light under the sun and it has a puffy effect. The blue light can make me look young. It contains a highlighter brush, which is very soft. You don’t need to buy any other brush. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Color For Illamasqua,I only used twice. The color is very special green, not too daily and is hard to match. Unless my friends hold a “green party”, all girls decorate themselves as Christmas tree, ok, I can think about this highlighter. ILLAMASQUA - Beyond Powder Highlighter

Here's how I combine blush and bronzer to create a better look!
Hey gals! Today, I'm going to share how I use the combo of blush and bronzer to make them look better on my face! Hoola from Benefit and Melba from MAC are always my go-to products when I have my canvas ready for more colors to apply and blend on my face. As you can see in the picture, they are small and easy to carry. I specially got the travel size of Hoola. Today I would like to have a comprehensive review of these two products. How much do they cost and where to buy? This hoola bronzer costs only $17 and it’s available at Sephora. I always purchase MAC’s products at its official website, and it’s super convenient. Their powder blushes cost $25 and there more series for you to choose from, including ones that are creamy and those which contain shimmers inside. How do they work? I usually use a flame-like brush to apply blush and bronzer. I have a rather round face so it’s important for me to use these powder to make my face look thinner and a little longer. I will start with bronzer: to begin with, I apply the bronzer on the apples of my cheeks, then sweep up and out slightly onto the temple, close to the hairline. Then I use the blush: I would sweep my blush from the ear down the cheekbone towards the mouth. Add I would also add a little touch of blush to the chin and blend it well to make my face appear longer. Is it worth it? They are not so pricey and I would say they are totally worth the price tag. These two brands are reliable and they make high-quality products. I think the most two important things about blush and bronzer are: 1) they need to be easy to blend and 2) they should be long-lasting. And these two just have these two traits. What else you need to know? It is essential to blend them naturally on the face so there won’t be awkward blocks of different colors with obvious boundaries. As you can see, these two, when combined together, would have a natural orangish color and it’s great looking. That’s why I always partner them with each other.

I’ve shared this amazing bronzer already but this is one of my go to bronzers and only bronzer I love to use when I do stock up on elf but if I don’t have it I’ll use tart with is still a great bronzer.. so between tart cosmetics and elf I love to switch them up and go back to back, e.l.f. - e.l.f. Bronzer this blends so well especially with a tan but it look so pretty still with or without a tan :)
I never thought my pale ass would be in love with a bronzer, but here we are. This is the first bronzer I’ve ever found that works for my skin tone without looking orange! This product comes in a variety of shades rather than just one generic bronze color designed to fit the medium range of skin tones. This product also smells like a coconut island vacation dream, I can’t get enough of it! The scent doesn’t irritate me at all because it’s over several barrier layers by that point. Love this product (as blush too!)
benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set Who says this has to be used as a bronzer? It can be used as a contour if your skin color allows. AS WELL AS BLUSH! One day I forgot to bring my blush so I used this for blush and wow! It’s not the pink girly popping blush I’m used to but it’s a more sophisticated and more business like manner. I’m totally digging this product for that purpose as well. It’s a shade that’s not too harsh and it’s super blendable. Love it! Totally recommend this if you haven’t tried this product! Will repurchase!

Drugstore dream bronzer
This bronzer blew my mind! It’s crazy what amazing quality this product is for being at the drugstore. The texture is soooo buttery soft and blends out to look like the most natural bronze! They have a good shade range and even some glowy versions of this bronzer that are amazing too! I would highly highly recommend trying this product if you haven’t — it’s incredible! 10/10PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer
