Trying Aiir’s dry texture mousse!
Trying Aiir’s dry texture mousse!
Y’all...you read that right, DRY TEXTURE MOUSSE!! This is a cross between a dry shampoo and a texture spray and I am obsessed. All you do is rub it together into a cream and apply to your roots and blow dry it! Not only does it: ✨refresh your roots ✨add grip to your hair for styling ✨add volume BUT IT ALSO SMELLS SOOOOO GOOD. I honestly don’t think I’ve smelt a better smelling product. It truly is one of the best products I’ve tested out. I workout every morning at 4am and go straight to school to work with kids all day so I don’t have time for a full wash but I do have time for this! Now it’s your time to try it! French braiding into a bun💜
French braiding into a bun💜
The perfect summer hairstyle! So many people are afraid of braiding their hair because it can be confusing. But trust me on this one! Trying a single French braid is so much easier than doing double and it gets the hand motion down! Follow these steps to French braid: ✨divide a second of hair into three strands ✨take one outside piece OVER the middle ✨take the second outside piece OVER the middle ✨grab a section of hair from the FIRST strand that went over the middle strands of hair (if you started with the left side going over the middle, grab hair from that side to keep the French braid going down) ✨rotate that new section over the middle ✨REPEAT that on the other side and alternate til you have no more hair to add Good luck with your braids, and remember....practice makes permeant 🤗💜

Topic Thought-Starters for Beginners ✨ Cherie Creator 101
Cherie has always been an engaging and loving community and we really love seeing everyone share their beauty story and honest thoughts. We know it can be challenging to create new content and think of post topics, which is why we wanted to share some useful tips on getting started! We will be introducing you to an example of a popular topic in our community and we hope that you find it helpful! One of the topics most loved by our community members is "Favorite Products". For example, you can show us your favorite skincare item, such as your moisturizer!

Any suggestion? Rate my new routine🙌🙌
Any suggestion? Rate my new routine🙌🙌
Heyyyy guys! I'm 24, a postgraduate student in CA. I have combination skin with acne on my chin. I hate ance and wanna change my routine products😿!!! After doing some research on Cherie, I have saved some of the Ordinary products. Hope this post could help you a lot!! And it would be sooo great if you guys could give some suggestions about these items.  The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG this eye serum is so popular on Cherie. I have some dark circles under my eyes, and wanted to brighten them. I cannot live without drinking and playing video games in the midnight, so I really need eye serum to save my life lollll The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I'm not sure about the effect of this product. The official website said it works for all skin types.  The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HAMy friends told me it's the best one for the price. Is it real?😂  The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution This one contains 7% glycolic acid, amino acids, aloe vera, ginseng, and tasmanian pepperberry. I don't know what are they actually lolll.  The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I think this item is super powerful so I need to try it more cautious- shorter amounts of time and only once or twice a week. I think it's more suitable for oily skin : ) Any suggestions for my new routine products? Hope it can help you find your favorite products lol. Thank you sooo much xoxo!!

Accutane (Isotretinoin) — 3 weeks in
Accutane (Isotretinoin) — 3 weeks in
Hey everyone! I am very new to this app, but I wanted to document my journey of my second round of Accutane and possibly connect with anyone in the same boat! I’m super nervous to post this because anyone with acne knows how detrimental it is to your self-image, but this seems like such a supportive community :’) A little background info first... my first round of Accutane was started in September of 2018 and ended in January of 2019. I had absolutely no dryness, which was a little concerning since that is the major side effect. The only side effect I noticed was minor joint pain. I believe that I had no dryness because my body didn’t absorb the medication well. After stopping my use of Accutane on January 15, 2019, my skin began flaring up again in March of 2019 so my clear skin did not last very long, and my acne was even worse than before. I have struggled with acne since 7th grade... (I am now a sophomore in college) and I have been on absolutely every topical and oral medication. A few oral medications would work for a few months and then my skin would become immune to them and start breaking out again like I wasn’t even taking them. I began my second round of Accutane on July 16th of this year and I am a little over 3 weeks in! My skin has never been SO dry and peel-y and seriously no amount of moisturizer I use will help. I did have some purging around the first and second weeks and it is somewhat calming down, but the dryness is my main concern at this point. I am feeling somewhat optimistic about going on a second round because the relapse percentage is much much lower. *********** I understand completely how hard it is. Especially in my high school years, seeing almost everyone around you with clear skin, you feel like something is wrong with you and it really takes a hit on your confidence. I ALWAYS remind myself: * as hard as it is the realize— this is temporary. Your skin is such an amazing organ that is constantly changing and resurfacing new skin cells, and it won’t be like this forever! * new breakouts are okay. Waking up every morning and looking in the mirror is still very hard for me, but seeing new spots doesn’t affect me as much as it used to because I know they will die down. * BE GENTLE with yourself!!! This is such a big thing to remind yourself, physically and mentally. You are absolutely beautiful with or without “clear” skin. Treat your mind and your skin with kindness. * your loved ones accept you as you are. Those who care about your blemishes don’t matter and those who don’t care, matter!
