How to do a Half-Up Hairstyle on Long Wavy Hair
I have pretty long hair down to my hips. Many people just aren’t sure how to style long hair, and for a long time, neither did I. Up until recently, I would just let my hair down and call it a day. Because my hair is also wavy and most hairstyles are designed for straight hair, it’s been difficult for me to find cute styles that work on my hair without looking like an absolute mess. Also because my hair is on the drier side, I tend to stay away from heat tools unless I absolutely have to. Today I’m going to show you a heatless hairstyle that shows off your length without being basic! I saw this hairstyle on TikTok in a tutorial by @learnwithlati. This girl is absolutely amazing, and I urge you to check her out if you have long hair that you don’t know what to do with. This style doesn’t take long at all, about 2 minutes, and doesn’t even need a hair elastic! Products needed: Wide toothed comb Hair oil/detangler if needed Hair spray (optional) Bobby pins (optional) Steps: That’s it! Ridiculously easy, right? You can go ahead and hair spray it if you need to or use bobby pins to hold in place, but it shouldn’t be a problem at all if your hair is long enough.
My favorite hair style ( braided half up style )
I love this hair style. You can do it on curly , straight or wavy hair! It’s beautiful on any type of hair and I love to add more of a look by adding my fav scrunchie or hair scarf and it gives it a nice style , it’s easy, fun and super cute 😊 In the center photo I start off by parting my hair in the front into sections and then add the braids, after I add the two braid on each side I pull back and tie it with my scrunchie and then I add some hair together for a little cute but messy look 👌🏻 that’s pretty much it after that ... simple and easy ❤️
Easiest Braided Crown Hairstyle
This is such a cute and easy braided look! My hair type is thick and wavy but this hairstyle will work with any hair type. Step 1: Section off a small piece of hair in the underside Step 2: Braid a traditional three strand braid Step 3: Move single strand to other side of head Step 4: Bobby pin strand so hair overlaps it That’s it! The only tool necessary is a single bobby pin making this style super easy
Cute Hairstyles for Long Hair
Finding manageable hair styles for long hair can be quite difficult because of how heavy your hair can feel when it’s up – any long-haired girl can definitely understand what I mean! I do have a few hair styles that I constantly go back to on days I want to keep my hair out of my face but still look like I’ve made an effort. Keep reading if you can relate! One of my favourites is the half up do. It sounds simple but it looks super chic, makes you look relatively put together and smartens up any outfit. Creating this hairstyle is super easy: you take the top section of your hair and tie this up (like you would a ponytail) and secure with a cute scrunchie to jazz it up a bit. Loosen the ponytail slightly by tugging your hair gently out of the hair tie, et voila you have a chic half up do! This hairstyle looks great with statement earrings and a casual outfit to give a contrast to the look. Another one of my go-tos is also the side braid. The key with this braid is making it look effortless. Start by creating a loose braid to one side of your head and secure with a cute scrunchie. Make sure to pull out pieces of hair by your ears to frame the face and soften the look. The last thing you want is a super tight braid – it’ll only accentuate the wrong parts of your face and make you feel super uncomfortable! If you want a more youthful look, split your hair into two sections and do a braid on each side. Again, ruffle up the look a bit by loosening the braid up and making it appear less neat.
Super easy hairstyle
This is one of my favorite super easy special occasion hairstyles that I always come back to. You can start with your hair either curled or straight, it’s cute both ways! All you need is Bobby pins. 1) part hair slightly off to the center 2) section front of hair into 1-2 inch section 3) start twisting the hair back against your head 4) push hair against head 5) secure with Bobby pin, sliding pin from bottom of the roll up into it 6-8) repeat on other side, I usually push one side up a little bit more to get some volume And viola a super cute, super easy 1940’s inspired hair style!
How To Do A Fishtail Braid
🧜🏻♀️ Fishtail braids are probably my favorite style because they look so pretty and intricate but are actually just as easy as a normal braid. And I have no idea how to style my hair so that works out great for me. Also please ignore all my weird esthetician supplies in the background of these photos. 🧜🏻♀️ So this is how you do it (see the pictures above for the steps) 🧜🏻♀️ Mind you when doing this you’ll be working your way down grabbing more hair as you go like you would with a French braid. 🧜🏻♀️ Start at the top section of your hair. Grab the amount of hair you want to start with and split into two sections at the part. 🧜🏻♀️ Start with either the right or left section of hair. Take about a half inch wide piece from the outside of that section of hair. 🧜🏻♀️ Move the half inch piece to the inside of the othe other section of hair. 🧜🏻♀️ Repeat on the other side taking a half inch piece from the outside and repositioning it the the inside of the other section. 🧜🏻♀️ Continue to do this working your way down making sure to hold the braid tight. The tighter the braid, the more defined the shape. When done secure the braid with a ponytail and voila! A fishtail braid. 🧜🏻♀️ Personally once the braid is secured I like to go in and tug at the outsides to give it a little bit of a messier, looser appearance but that’s up to you.
