Picked Comments: Body Lotion
Hello, beautiful people! Let's talk about body lotion today. While we don't have that many people who have shared their experience on this topic, we still want you to read some comments from Cherie users on body lotion to get some inspiration! As these comments are relatively short, we invite y'all to make posts covering body lotions - don't forget to @me in your posts! I saw @relpixela was also an body care expert - come and share your body care expertise with us😛! @Kimberley_Whitman “Have u tried the tinted body lotion from LovingTan? I like it because it has not only three colors but also a more comfortable texture than Bronzing Mousse. If you want it more lasting, I recommend the same brand of tanning mousse. And I will first exfoliate and then use the lotion, this effect will be more durable😊” What are your choices of body lotions? Feel free to comment below or make posts and @ me. I'd love to hear your reviews! S/O to all the experts who generously left comments and solved others' problems! 👀👀👀 Don't forget to follow your best friend CheriePick, an official Cherie account, to interact with other Cherie members and get the best content in the community. Scars and discolouration
I have old scars that I didn’t stop playing with and discolouration on my face. I would like to get rid of those. My skin type is combination ( normal to oily). I use cerave foaming cleanser and sa moisturizer. I use witch hazel as a toner. I also use bentonite clay mask at least once a week. Are there any product that you can recommend for my problem or that I can add to my skin care regiment?

How I live a “clean” lifestyle
I haven’t always been the person to live in the most and healthy way but in recent years my mind set has changed since I know that I only have one body and I need to take care of it! To me clean means eating and doing things that make you feel good. This past year I’ve been eating less meat, and dairy. Meat because it’s more sustainable for the environment to eat less of it and I was never a huge fan of it to begin with. Dairy I have found that I was developed a lactose sensitivity so I try to stay away from it. I’ve been continus about making healthier choices such as sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, a salad for lunch instead of a bowl of pasta. Just small things that I have been trying to change about my diet. Other than trying to eat right I also try to workout 4-5 times a week sometimes this doesn’t always happen but when it doesn’t I do miss it! Working out for me is a way of releasing stress and I hate it for the first few minutes but once I get that heart rate up I remember why I started. It’s been such a great way to start my day and I feel so accomplished after. No one is perfect and neither am I! My journey to a clean lifestyle is ever evolving and I keep learning new things everyday!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
