Babes, blackheads are so hard to deal with. But don't worry - take a look at these super useful tips on blackheads, and I guarantee you -- these tips work! You got this🤩! @Skinsitive “My biggest recommendations for people looking to targets pores and congestion are Paula’s Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster and 2% BHA Liquid. They’re global bestsellers for a reason. I personally keep three backups on hand because they’re that amazing for keeping sebaceous filaments minimal and blackheads at bay.” @christyr “hey girly ! i completely feel you with pores and blackheads ! i use a liquid exfoliator for my pores and love the paulas choice 2% bha one! also salicylic acid and niacinamide is really really good for pores and blackheads too : ) hope this helps!” @RachelleLeblanc I’ve personally found the cerave SA cleanser to work a lot better for blackheads than the hydrating cleanser.. a topical benzoyl peroxide treatment would also help a lot I personally only breakout on my forehead so I use the benzoyl peroxide solely on my forehead. Also.. do you double cleanse?” For other Cherie members, feel free to comment below and talk about your ways of dealing with blackheads. I'd love to hear your reviews of the products! Zo Skin Health, not my cup of tea
Zo Skin Health, not my cup of tea
If you’re a regular skin clinic visitor, there's a good chance you've heard of this line through an aesthetician. I purchased these two babies after seeing stellar reviews online and wanted to bring out the big guns for tackling acne. It’s probably my most expensive purchase to date. ZO SKIN HEALTH - Exfoliating Cleanser Exfoliating cleanser: This is a gel cleanser with encapsulated vitamin e beads, salicylic acid, and small jojoba esters for light exfoliation. It creates a very foamy texture when applied. You only need a very small pea size amount to cover the entire face. I do enjoy fragrance in my skincare from time to time (and can handle it in small quantities), but this has a strong artificial perfume smell that I didn't love. I tried this for several weeks and found it very stripping - it gave my skin a "squeaky" clean feel and the beads dissolved too quickly to be effective at exfoliating. Also, the expiry date is 6 months after opening, which is quite short for a cleanser. I gave this to my boyfriend, who loves it, which goes to show that everyone's skin likes and dislikes different things. ZO SKIN HEALTH - Oil Control Pads Acne Treatment Acne treatment pads: These are textured pads with 2% bha. It was initially effective at helping to clear some clogged pores. It has alcohol quite high up on the list, which I found refreshing on my skin (which I know is not ideal for sensitive skin, but gave it a go anyways). This does do the job at helping to clear congestion, but I didn't find it that helpful on inflamed red pimples. I've resorted to using this on my back because I have other bha products (mainly my beloved Paula’s choice bha4 serum) that are more effective for both clogged pores and pimples. Also I don’t think pads are my thing - brings back memories of using Stridex as a teen. Le sigh, that feeling when you put down some hard cash only to get let down. That said, it may work for those dealing with persistent acne and are not dealing with sensitive/dehydrated skin.

help with acne, large pores and wrinkles
help with acne, large pores and wrinkles
Is there any products that can help with acne, large pores and early wrinkles all in one? What do you recommend? (They can be products that help with one of those issues. But I don’t have a good skincare routine and it’s hard to make it a habit. Something all in one is easier to make a habit with than a bunch of things). Hope I posted this properly. It’s my first post. (I look weird because I’m half asleep and put lip balm on in the dark. I have a medical thing that causes the cuts on my lips)

OILY/ACNE SKIN FAVS!!
OILY/ACNE SKIN FAVS!!
‼️ If you have oily skin or are prone to breakouts, check out these ingredients that are beneficial to your skin and will not clog your pores. Hyaluronic Acid – Although this name has ‘acid’ in it, this ingredient does not exfoliate your skin, but hydrates it. HA is found naturally in the body and referred to as a GAG (Glycosaminoglycan). For the skin, it acts as a humectant making it a magnet. 💧 Hyaluronic Acid binds moisture to the skin 1,000 times better than water, leaving your skin plumped and hydrated. This is great for oily skin because it helps maintain a good water-oil balance. You can use this product daily. I recommend SKIN SCRIPT - Ageless Hydrating Serum 👌🏼 Niacinamide – AKA Vitamin B3, not to be confused with Niacin. This is a popular ingredient seen in many acne skin care products because of all the great benefits it has to offer. It reduces inflammation, regulates oil production, helps minimize appearance of pores, treats acne, helps reduce pigmentation and protects your barrier form environmental and UV damage. This is a SUPERSTAR ingredient that can be used daily. 😍 Salicylic Acid – Salicylic Acid is mainly derived from Willow Bark 🌳 , but SHOULD NOT be used if you are allergic to ASPIRIN. This is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid that is oil based and goes into your pores for a deep cleanse. Oil attracts oil, so this acid is great for oily skin by unclogging your pores and eliminating whiteheads and blackheads. This acid also exfoliates your skin leaving it brighter by removing dead skin cells and should only be used up 3 times per week and always followed by 🧴. I recommend this cleanser for acneic skin SKIN SCRIPT - Raspberry Refining Cleanser Benzoyl Peroxide – If you feel a breakout coming on or have an active pustule, put some BP on your skin. This ingredient will dry out your acne, so just use it for spot treating and not over your whole face or you will dry it out. BP is antimicrobial, so it will kill bacteria causing acne. As always, read the instructions on your product to see how long you should keep it on your skin for. This is a great product to apply to your breakouts! SKIN SCRIPT - Blemish Spot Treatment Ice – Good ol’ 🧊 will help reduce any inflammation and redness caused by acne, so grab a cube from your freezer or fridge door and apply to the affected area. 👀 Other ingredients to reduce acne that are not mentioned include charcoal, tea tree oil, argan oil, mandelic acid and a few more. Say bye to Acne!
Say bye to Acne!
I often deal with hormonal and random breakouts primarily on my forehead, nose and sometimes chin. I have tried so many products over the years to help get rid of acne and these 3 are THE BEST OF THE BEST. The PETER THOMAS ROTH - AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel I love applying all over my face right after cleansing and right before moisturizing. It’s a perfect mix of salicylic acid and glycolic acid. It gets rid of redness and dramatically gets rid of the bump of a pimple. The ROSEN SKINCARE - Break-Out is a perfect treatment to put on top right before bed, it has amazing ingredients and doesn’t dry out your skin. The pimple does flatten by the next morning and it’s almost ready to pop! I absolutely love the BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin it’s perfect to mix into your moisturizer or just tap on top of a pimple. The next morning you won’t even remember you had a pimple. TRUST.

SKIN PURGING - GOOD OR BAD?
SKIN PURGING - GOOD OR BAD?
First things first, FOLLOW ME! xxxx Sometimes, things need to get worse before getting better. Skin purging is a reaction (breakout) that occurs when you use a new skin care product. Products that contain powerful active ingredients can make your skin purge. You may also experience purging after the extraction process during facials. Skin purging brings out the existing microcomedones (early acne or clogged hair particles) to the surface. You will particularly experience skin purging when beginning to use new products that contain ingredients such as Retinoids, AHA & BHA’s, anti-aging products, and acne management and over-the-counter products that accelerate the skin exfoliation rate. Just think of purging as the process of drawing all the nasties out of your pores! It’s the first step to clearer skin ✨ FOLLOW ME FOR MORE & that’s it sis!! x

A Spot Treatment Face Mask? YES!
A Spot Treatment Face Mask? YES!
It's #FacemaskFriday! 🌟Listen, everyone's skin goes crazy from time to time. Stress, changes in eating habits, even #WFH, and being exposed to different air particles can affect how your skin behaves. Face masks are a great way to tell your skin you're in control and to calm the F down. You're probably familiar with this pink mask I'm using here. But, you know it as a spot treatment or a drying lotion for those unexpected pimples that LOVE to show up whenever we have an important day coming up. However, at least once a month, I try to use this lovely tiny product as a FULL face mask. Yep, you heard that right. I use the spot treatment ALL OVER my face. Why? Well, this one, in particular, has 3 ingredients that make it the perfect face mask: 1) Salicylic Acid helps exfoliate and unclog my pores. 2) Sulfur absorbs excess oil. 3) Calamine helps soothe and calm my skin. Those three ingredients are the best way to press the reset button on your pimples and breakouts. Here's what I do: - Grab your favorite spot treatment lotion. I'm using the classic spot lotion by @mariobadescu - Instead of applying the treatment on your pimples, apply it all over your face - Wait at least 10-15 minutes - Wash thoroughly and follow with your usual skincare routine - IMPORTANT, make sure you end your routine with sunscreen! Even if you do this at night since most spot treatments make skin ultra-sensitive Alright, there you have it. Have you tried this before? Are you going to try it? Join the conversation in the comments!
