This blow-dryer will change your life!
This blow-dryer will change your life!
It definitely changed mine!! For most of us blow-dryers are a styling tool we use daily, so it is so important to find one that suits you.   Having finer hair, I desperately needed a hairdryer that dried my hair efficiently and also allowed me to achieve some root lift with a smooth finish.   I started using the GHD Air Dryer, after I tried it in a salon that I worked in. Firstly, I loved how light it felt in my hands and it seemed to dry my hair twice as quick, as normal, giving it a smooth, soft finish.   Since using this blow-dryer my hair has been a lot healthier, it holds its style better and I seem to get a nicer finish to the ends of my hair.   I normally prepare my hair using Milkshake Incredible Milk, which has some AMAZING benefits for your hair, including heat protector, UV Protection, volume and body.    https://www.ghdhair.com/hair-dryers/ghd-air   The main benefits are that it has a professional strength motor and patented removable air filter delivering high pressure air flow for fast drying, and advanced iconic technology giving you a smooth, salon worthy finish.   It has temperature and power controls allowing you to control the speed and temperature of the dryer, it also has a cool shot button which you can use to set your style into place at the end.   Top Tips: -       Keep the blow-dryer on a medium speed and medium heat for a controlled blow-dry. -       Always have the nozzle facing down the hair, this will ensure a smooth finish. -       Use a paddle brush when drying for a smooth finish with some root lift. -       USE HEAT PROTECTOR!     I have had this dryer for 4 years now and I wouldn’t be without it!!

How to Care for Your Box Braids
How to Care for Your Box Braids
If you have thick, curly hair, chances are you may have tried box braids, or a different type of protective style. However, there is a lack of education on how to maintain your box braids, as well as your hair underneath! Keep reading for my tips and tricks. 1. First, make sure to sleep on a satin pillow case or wrap your hair with a satin scarf every night. Especially if you have lighter box braids like I do, this is important because the hair can get frizzy and look unkept over time. A great option is the /kit·sch/ - Black Satin Head Scarf or /kit·sch/ - Leopard Satin Pillowcase 2. Use a mousse every morning to maintain frizz. Especially if you’re wearing your braids completely down, and you’ve already had them in for awhile, you can use a mousse to control the frizziness! You can also apply it before you go to bed and before you wrap your hair in a scarf. I use the aussie - Sprunch Mousse & Leave-in Conditioner With Jojoba & Sea Kelp for Curly Hair 3. Stay away from chlorine as much as possible. Chlorine can really frizz your box braids and make them become knotted or gummy. Nobody wants that! The best way to prevent this is limiting or completely eliminating chlorine exposure to your hair. 4. Oil your scalp!! It’s important to make sure you are nourishing your scalp and hair while in a protective style. I use the MAULI - Grow Strong Hair Oil to make sure my scalp is never dry and my hair stays nourished!

Need help !
Need help !
This is my hair with no product in it and just washed it last night. I need to buy a really good shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. I have oily, curly, colored from brown to blonde, frizzy, thin hair. I also have a few split ends and fall out and a itchy scalp. I have been recommended to use Palmers, ogx, Maui, matrix and I’m not sure which one would be better. Please help me !!!!

Battle of the beauty tools!
Battle of the beauty tools!
🐆Hair curlers vs a curling iron 🐆hair curlers and a curling iron have the same purpose, to curl hair! They both are cylinder type tools, and hair curlers you leave in and wait for a while, but curling your hair with a curling iron is all at once and you do one piece of hair at a time! 🐆differences between the two! Usage, function, effect! Advantages and disadvantages! -Using hair rollers is a more careful way of styling, but it takes more time and effort than using a curling iron. When I have little time, I always use my curling iron. In the morning, I use it when I need to create a good-looking hairstyle for the whole day. You can use hair rollers, but you have to put them on several hours before going out. For example, I can put them on at night right before going to sleep, and I take them off in the morning. -Curling irons can make your hair damaged, dull and brittle. I have to buy special oil treatment for my hair and apply it right before ironing to protect my hair since I can style my hair rather often. It takes money. Classic hair rollers are safe for hair structure, but you need to get used to sleeping with all these little things on your head. You can hardly have a good sleep with them. Sometimes I use my hot rollers right before going somewhere, but only when I have at least two hours to get ready 🐆which is better- I think for my the curling iron has to be more efficient for me even though they are more pricey! Hair curlers are a lot of work and when you have to keep them in for a long time they are not comfortable at all!
